Chapter 22: The Fall of the Red Ribbon Army

I watched as Goku tie on his Bo as I stuffed Bulma's backpack full of Dragon Balls in my bag. He was preparing to go after the other Dragon Balls at the Red Ribbon Army base. I wasn't going to help him; because, I simply can't. I had given him my test at the tournament to see if I can relax with him being strong without me. This is the world's test to see if he survives. Of course, I'll worry but I can't do anything but believe in him.

I waved to Upa as we flew away. I faced forward. I placed a hand on Goku's shoulder and squeezed. He looked at me. I smiled solemnly.

"Alright Goku, when we get there, you will have to lead me through. I will support you but you must make your own path, understand?"

He nodded with all seriousness and determination. I didn't like that expression, but pride welled up within me. I ruffled his hair fondly.

We looked ahead until some metal flying thing came up beside us. I moved to show us a camera inside the dome of glass. I blinked and waved at it with a smile. I lightly smack Goku for calling it a weirdo. We stared at it for a while, but when Goku questioned it, it blasted away ahead of us.

"It's gone … That was faster than Kintoun"

"Yeah, it was. Oh well."

We shrugged it off and kept going until we saw many buildings with the insignia.

"Hey! There it is! All right! I'm going wild!"

I hooted and got ready for the fight. We blasted through an air craft. We sped down to the building. Hopping off, we kicked a couple of soldiers. We continued on beating up soldiers. Leaping from buildings we used our ki to destroy air crafts. We landed on the ground and headed towards the Dragon Balls. We were hit by a couple of bullets. It stung really badly, so we promised to get the person back for shooting at us.

We continued until we came to the building but we had to go up. There was no stair case. Goku jumped and smashed through to the next floor. We got to the walk way when one idiot blasted us and dirtied my outfit. I dashed forward and used the table they were hiding behind to squish them against the wall. I suddenly felt a life go out above us. We maneuvered to crash through a window to get to the next floor where the Dragon Balls were. We saw a tall dark man.

"At last, you are here."

"Are you the boss?"

"Uh huh, from now on."

I had a bad feeling. I think what he meant was that he killed the original boss to get his position.

"We are going to take these Dragon Balls."

"I have a proposition for the both of you. Why don't we collect them together and conquer the whole world."

I didn't really know what this person was getting to. Goku questioned this.

"Yes! We can dominate the world! The whole world!"

I didn't like this guy at all. I decided to answer for the both of us.

"No! We want Upa's father back! He was killed by one of your guys!"

I could tell he didn't understand our intentions. He tried to negotiate with us, but we refuse to be part of scum like him. He didn't like our negative answer. I watched Goku fight him as I snuck the Dragon Balls into my bag. I leaped back when the man pulled out a capsule. It turned into a suit of armor.

"Goku get out of the way!"

I watched Goku get hit. I jumped onto the metal thing's back and tried to take the glass off, but I was grabbed from behind and thrown against the brick wall. I crashed right on through it and thudded painfully to the ground. Goku came barreling through the same hole in the wall, and he was hit again to come flying at my unmovable form with a resounding thud. I coughed up a bit of blood. I got up along with Goku and dashed out of the way of a beam of destruction. We watched from a top a random roof as the man celebrated a fake victory. I stayed on the roof as Goku took care of the dark man in the metal suit. When the man sent a large missile, I tense for intervention, but relaxed when Goku hit the thing. It changed course and blew off the top of a mountain.

The man now knew that he couldn't go against Goku, so he tried to escape, but Goku rocketed off the roof through the metal suit's engineering. It soon blew up, leaving out enemy defeated. I grinned as Goku landed on Kintoun. When he came for me, I told him to hold on.

"Why, what's going on Kagome?"

"I want to go through the computer room to delete anything about us from their data bases. I don't want to fight anyone from the Red Ribbon Army with information about us. They would get the upper hand and that is not fair. How about you look for the last Dragon Ball while I take care of this?"

"Alright!"

I headed back inside when I saw Goku fly off and towards the labs where I think where most of the computers are. When I got there, someone was already there. I sneaked up from behind him. I chopped him, so he fell unconscious. I was having a very bad feeling coming from him. I put him a nearby chair, so I could keep an eye on him. I paused for a moment.

I started to check his pockets. I found a few capsules and data holders. I crushed those under my foot. I turned back to the computers when I completed my task of getting rid of any electronic device on the lab coat wearing person. I continued to wipe everything on the computer about me, Goku, or any of our friends. I also programed a virus to destroy the computers everywhere that is connected the RR Army. I relaxed as I ran out of the lab as it blew up. I ran until I was outside the compound since everywhere the computers were blowing up.

I paused when I was outside the compound. I just realized that I forgot about the person in the lab. I sent a little prayer to the lab person. I continued to run towards where I can feel Goku and, strangely, our friends are.
