How does one explain emotions? With glances and heated faces. With a pounding heart and nervous gestures. I feel like a complete mess. What happened between us on that island, destroyed my view on him. Sure he's still a jerk that shows nothing on his face, except for a smirk every once in awhile; but, he has shown a sweet side to him. Something I never even imagined.

But… there is still distrust amongst us. It doesn't seem to matter that I have fallen, and still am falling. We still don't trust each other. If we don't fix this, there will be no chance of us ever being together.

It's been a week since the incident. Law and I have not talked that much. I mean, we have tried, but the rest of the crew seems to always be around. They are constantly watching us, waiting for us to make a move. It's annoying and shows that they are a bunch of horny men. So its been chit chat between us, nothing serious. But I can tell he wants to talk to me, and I definitely want to talk to him. Why would it be difficult to explain why you wouldn't trust me? I don't understand it.

So I am sitting in a chair in the dining room, curled up with a book. I'm not really reading the book; to deep inside my thoughts. I can hear the others playing a dice game, they are blaming each other for cheating. Law is not in the room.

"That's impossible! You couldn't have rolled that twice!" Penguin yelled at Shachi.

"I'm just really good at this, you suck." Retorted Shachi.

"Bepo! Tell him he's cheating!"

"Yawn," Bepo stretched,"You just suck Penguin."

"What?! I don't suck! Kathren!"

I looked up from the book I was 'reading', "What?"

"Tell Shachi that he's a cheater!" Penguin pointed at Shachi.

I sighed,"Penguin, you do really just suck at the game." I put the book down.

"HA! See I told you so!" Exclaimed Shachi.

"Kathren, why!?"

"Sorry, Penguin." I got up from the chair and headed towards the door.

"Gee, why don't you go make out with Law or something." Muttered Penguin.

I froze in my tracks,"What did you say?" I said with clenched teeth.

"I said,'why don't you go make out with Law', Kathren." Penguin exclaimed louder.

I turned around and glared fiercely at him, "Excuse me? How dare you."

"I'm sure he would love some one on one with you." Mocked Penguin.

"Don't you dare get pissy with me just because you suck and a stupid dice game. Besides, my relationship with Law has nothing to do with you!" I yelled at Penguin.

"Damn," said Shachi," I don't think I've ever seen you so angry."

The three of them were staring at me with a mix of fear, confusion, and shock.

"She's only getting mad because you three won't let us be." Law said from behind me.

I jumped, "Law!"

"Kathren, I want you to meet me in my room. We have a couple of things that need to be discussed."

I nodded in agreement," We certainly do."

"Ohhh, sounds like they are going to get it on!" Shachi said, the three of the laughed.

Law suddenly hit the wall with his fist, quieting everyone in the room. Law closed his eyes and sighed," Look guys, Kathren is right, our relationship has nothing to do with you. Also the rude comments towards the both of us has made us both angry." Law lowered his voice,"It's also making her uncomfortable, so please stop with your vulgar comments."

The three of them glanced at each other," Yes sir."

"Sorry Law."

"We didn't mean to offend you Kathren."

They all looked down ashamed.

"It's alright guys, just stop." I said quietly.

Law looked at me and nodded his head towards the door,"Go."

"Aye, aye, captain."

"No, Kathren, don't do that."

I giggled as we left. Soon afterwards we could hear them arguing over the dice game, once again.
