Ginny couldn't believe what she saw. Hermione was lying on the floor in a puddle of her own blood.
"What the hell happened!?" She screamed running over to Hermione.
"I dunno. I came up as quickly as I could when you were going to the washroom and found her like this", Molly sobbed. Ginny examined her.
"There's no cuts on her wrists, I don't see any sign that says this is self-inflicted. We need to get her to St. Mungos", Ginny said holding onto Hermione and Molly grabbing her other hand and aparating them to St. Mungos. "Someone please help!" Ginny screamed.
A doctor came running around the corner to see what was going on. He grabbed a stretcher and Ginny place Hermione on it.
"What happened?" He asked.
"We don't know. I left her alone for a minute and mum found her lying in a puddle of blood. But I didn't find any cuts or any sign she did it to herself", Ginny explained. He nodded.
They rushed her through a set of doors to examine her as quickly as possible. Everyone else showed up and asked if they knew anything yet. They told them no so everyone just sat down and waited. It was a few hours before the doctor came out.
"Who's here for Hermione Granger?" He asked. Everyone stood up. "Are you all family?" He asked looking suspicious.
"Not biologically. But Hermione is muggle-born, so he real family can't be here", Molly explained.
"Okay, well I can only speak to one or two of you. I treated Hermione and Draco last week after the incident, so if I could speak to Draco and his mother, that would be great", he said. At first Harry and Ron glared at Draco but knew it was probably for the best. Draco and Narcissa followed the doctor to the back room where he had taken Hermione.
"Is she okay?" Draco asked nervously.
"She is for now. I know it's scary but you need to be strong for her", he directed them to a couch. "I wanted to speak with you two because I wasn't sure if you'd told anyone about exactly what had happened", Draco shook his head. "Now I know the young lady who brought her in said she was in a puddle of blood but couldn't find anything wrong", they nodded. "It turns out that the blood came out when she vomited. Do you remember that potion I gave her to prevent her becoming pregnant?" They nodded again. "Well she had an extrememly bad reaction to it, causing her stomach to bleed. So we had to take any trace of the potion out of her system and we patched her up. She should be fine. But we need to keep her here for a few days. But I do need to tell you. Because we had to take the potion out of her system, if there is any trace of sperm around still, she could become pregnant:, Draco looked at his mom, scared. She patted his back. "We've checked and thus far, she is not", he finished. Draco sighed and they started to walk back to the main area.
"We have to tell them now mum. I know she might not want us to, but we have to. We can't leave them in the dark as to why she's here", Draco said and rounded the corner and saw all the Weasley's and Harry sitting there.
"I know we do son", she said as everyone stood up.
"You all might want to sit. We never told you exactly what happened last week because we wanted to wait to see if Hermione wanted to, since she was the one most affected. We already told you that is was my supposed father and two of his goons who broke in. What we didn't tell you is that they planned on killing all three of us. But Lucius being Lucius, likes to make people suffer first", everyone was sitting staring at him waiting for him to finish. "So he made his goons undress us both and…" he paused, his voice breaking. "they forced me… to… rape her", he finished breaking out into sobs. His mom hugged him and he saw Harry and Ron go livid.
"So the doctor gave her a potion to prevent her becoming pregnant. But she's had an incredibly bad reaction to it, which caused her stomach to bleed. And the blood was actually in her vomit. They had to remove every trace of the potion and repaired everything internally. But he said if there is still any trace of sperm, that she could become pregnant", Narcissa finished.
"They said she should be alright but want to keep her here for a few days", Draco said once he'd regained composure. The doctor came back out.
"Hermione's asking for Ginny", he said so Ginny followed him. She started crying when she saw Hermione. She ran up to her and hugged her as lightly as possible, sobbing inter Hermione's shoulder.
"I'm so glad you're okay", she whispered. "We thought you hurt yourself".
"No, as bad as it was I wouldn't do that", Ginny laughed while crying at the sound of Hermione's voice.
"It's so good to hear your voice! I was beginning to think you would never talk again", she said while holding Hermione's hands.
"How's Draco?" She asked softly.
"He's scared to death of losing you. He told us everything Hermione, I'm so sorry you had to go through that".
"Me too. And I know Draco's sorry too, and I love him more than anything. I just don't know if I can look at him the same. I told him I wanted to be with him and I didn't blame him at all, because it's not his fault and I don't blame him. But it might be too hard to look at him without being reminded of that night", Hermione explained to Ginny.
"I understand, but he'll be devastated Hermione".
"I know", she started to cry. Ginny sat on the side of the bed and held onto her crying friend.
"Did the doctor explain everything to you yet?" Ginny felt her nod.
"I don't know what I'll do if I become pregnant", Hermione said while still crying.
"It's okay Hermione. You're graduating this year; you'll be done school before the baby would come. And you'll have so many people here to help you. Including Draco", Ginny comforted her friend.
"I know", Hermione said. They just sat there for a while and the both drifted off to sleep.
