"So my uncle is hosting a Christmas party if you guys want to come." Allen said after swallowing part of her lunch. Lavi stared at her for a moment. "Seriously?" he asked incredulously. "We've known each other for about a month and you're already inviting us to your place! You are so nice Moyashi-chan." Lavi exclaimed while hugging Allen.

"My name is Allen, I told you that I hate that name." Kanda smirked at her tone. "To be honest you and Kanda are some of the few kinder people I have met since I've been at this school. And Cross said I needed to invite someone." She smiled her fake smile. "I figured, why not the people who have been kindest to me."

"Aw Moyashi-chan!" Lavi smothered her in a hug once more. Making her laugh. It was light but it wasn't real, just like her smiles. It was strange but Kanda wanted to see her when a different emotion crossed her face. "You know what I'm gonna get you a present. Gramps always said it was rude to show up to a party empty handed!" Lavi exclaimed.

They stood from the ground, since it was almost time to go to class, and began to head for their next class. "Is there anything that you want Allen-chan?" Lavi asked his green eye sparkling with hope. "You don't have to get me anything Lavi. Honest."

Lavi however refused to accept that as an answer. "I'm not going to this party without a gift for you. So if you're not gonna tell me then I'll just have to guess." He proclaimed before taking off in the direction of the cafeteria.

Allen sighed annoyance clear on her face. "How do you handle so much energy?" She asked the silent man beside her. "Not sure to be honest." They looked at each other and then towards where their redhead friend went and let out soft sighs.

"Would you mind telling Mr. Tiedoll for me, I might not be in his class later." Allen asked as they made their way to her locker. "You leaving or something?" Kanda asked in mild interest. Allen merely nodded, "Yeah Cross wanted me to work on something for the party as well as a song for when we meet a producer from Millennium Records."

Allen sighed again. "This is starting to become really tiresome." Kanda shrugged, this was something he couldn't relate to, so he would just stand there and listen like he always did. "Ms. Walker." Links voice sounded through the hall. The duo turned their heads to see that Link was indeed coming towards them. "Oh Link, what is it?"

"There are two people here to pick you up. They go by the name of Mahoja and Narain. Do you know them?" Allen looked at him slightly confused but she quickly turned it into a cheerful smile. "I didn't expect those two to be picking me up. I guess Auntie and Cross must be busy with preparations. I do know them they are both family friends." She pulled out multiple folders and handed them to Link.

"I have a favor to ask of you Link." she said her bright smile remained on her face. "Could you drop off this homework to my teachers for me. It seems I caught up in my classes rather quickly and I didn't get the chance to turn them in earlier. I hope it's not too much to ask of you."

Link blushed slightly at her expression and agreed to drop off her work. Kanda's eyes narrowed at the two. Link was supposed to be a smart individual and top of the class. Yet he couldn't tell that the Moyashi was practically toying with him. Allen's eyes sparkled somehow. "Really? Thank you so much, I really appreciate it." She closed her locker door and slung her bag onto her shoulder. The moment she passed Link her happy expression returned to its neutral boredom.

When she was about to enter the room Lenalee stopped her. Of course she would be there, it was her siscon brother's office. "Oh it's you again freak. Did you get kicked out already? Not that it would surprise me, I've seen your brutish behavior when you argued with the twins." she brushed a pigtail behind her shoulder.

Allen rolled her eyes. "Hello Lenalee, no I have not been kicked out. I am simply being signed out early, as I have both private and family matters to deal with when I get home. As for that confrontation between me Jasdero and Devitt, they were the cause of my outburst. I would prefer if you kept you ill-informed self out of my personal affairs and I will gladly do the same for you." Allen spoke in an even tone, the look Lenalee gave her was a mixture of a confused child and an angry spoiled princess.

"Now if you'll excuse me I have to be on my way. There are people waiting for me." Allen walked past the stunned teen into the office behind her. Lenalee stood there for a few more moments before stomping out of the area. An embarrassed and furious blush on her face.

The moment Allen walked inside she was bombarded with questions from Narain. "Allen I heard about what happened the first week you were here, why didn't you tell me about it?" Allen didn't know what to say, as she didn't expect anyone to be so concerned for her, minus her aunt.

"It was no big deal, it was just a bit of anxiety, nothing to worry about. I promise." Narain barely believed her, and Mahoja cracked her knuckles. "You know if anyone messes with you, I'll be there to give them reasons to stop." Allen smirked at Mahoja. "Don't worry I can handle myself just fine."

The drive was boring in Allen's opinion. They spent their time talking about the school Narain had visited and the new moves Mahoja learned while she was gone. Apparently she and some others in her squad were able to learn from a master martial artist. Mahoja planned on teaching Allen some of it, for self defense purposes of course.

Allen's mind however wondered to when she watched Kanda practice his swordsmanship in her backyard. It was, to put it simply, flawless. His stances, the grip he had on the sword, and even the emotionless gaze he had on his handsome, sorry, constipated face.

'Who am I kidding he is handsome, even if he is a complete asshole.' Allen sighed silently. 'It was sweet of him to help me with target practice.' Allen thought back to when Kanda had let her use him as a moving target as she unleashed her many hidden weapons.

He was surprised that some actually hit, and the face he made when she charged him and nearly hit his face. She would have if he didn't block her, but oh well. Thanks to Narain's incredible medical skills, there was no evidence of them ever fighting, even the bruising had disappeared. When Monday came they walked through the school with no pain and that was three days ago.

They finally made it home and saw Cross directing people to move furniture and set up decorations. He spotted Allen and waved her over. "Apprentice" "Allen." "I have a special request for you." Allen raised a white eyebrow and waited for him to continue. "What exactly do you want me to do?"

He bent down and whispered something in her ear. She made a disgruntled face as he continued, and it slowly turned back to her neutral face. The people watching were moving slowly, hoping to figure out what was causing the normally stoic prodigy to make such faces.

"Is that all?" Allen asked slightly annoyed. Cross smirked and lit a cigarette, which Allen stole and crushed on the sidewalk, before walking inside. "No smoking when others are around." She said over her shoulder.

At the Black Order Angel was slightly saddened at the news of her next model being signed out. Lenalee was having a bitch fit about what Allen had said before she left, not that anyone but her friends cared. Lavi and Kanda were in English and Lavi was talking his ear off.

"I'm excited to see Moyashi's place, aren't you?" Lavi whispered happily to Kanda, whom was seated next to him in the back of the class. He somehow ended up with the window seat with a red haired rabbit next to him.

"I've already seen it." Kanda said hoping to get his friend to stop talking. He hadn't realized his mistake until he heard a gasp beside him. "You've been to Allen's house and you didn't invite me?" Kanda rolled his eyes. "I didn't want to go in the first place, her uncle basically hired me to be her bodyguard for the weekend."

Lavi sunk back in disappointment as he mumbled. "I thought something exciting happened. Like a lunch date, maybe some Christmas shopping in the mall." Lavi said while smirking at Kanda's shocked expression. His head had snapped over to glare at the redheaded pirate he called a friend.

"So something interesting did happen." It was more of an acknowledgement then a question. "How do you know about that?" Kanda demanded through clenched teeth. "Gramps was there and he told me. I had no clue that you and Allen were together, and she's only been here for like three weeks. You work fast."

Lavi would have been punched if it weren't for Yeegarturning around to silence them. Although it was the last day before break, he wouldn't allow anyone to start slacking.
