The new semester started pretty easy for Allen, even though she had almost all of her classes with Kanda and or Lavi. She enjoyed her classes though: good teachers, steady workflow, and pretty easy classes. It was the students that made each one unbearable.

Somehow her sixth period had gotten cancelled because the teacher hadn't showed up, so they had to sit in the room with Jack Reppir watching videos of incidents among London townsfolk. It seemed to be his favorite source of entertainment. So far none of the classes had anyone In most of them, Lenalee, Link, and Tyki were there with her. You'd think someone just wanted to screw with her by putting them in her classes but it didn't.

Link seemed like a really nice guy. Although he is very 'by the book', a bit of a prude and a stiff, he is kind. Not always kind but to Allen he acts a little differently than other people. He treats her like someone special.

Tyki have her attention that she wasn't used to. He seemed interested in her, whether it was for friendship or something else, she wasn't sure. He was handsome she would admit but there was something about his superior attitude that made her think twice before hanging out with him.

Then there was Lenalee Lee. Allen tries not to let her bossy, prissy and spoiled rotten attitude get to her but sometimes enough is enough. Even the Buddha gets angry when insulted a third time. As for Allen it would probably be the 300th time the girl has insulted her. Allen is very proud of her ability to be patient with others, especially those that she doesn't like. Lenalee however could use a bit of tweaking, definitely.

Right now it was the last class of the day. Music. With her recently discovered uncle, Neah. Today they would learn how to read music, something Allen already knew how to do. As for right now Neah was taking attendance. Some of the names Allen recognized like Noise Marie, and Lala Matera, whom she'd only seen in the hallways and sometimes in the nurses office.

"Alright so today, we will be learning the basics of music. Which means you'll be learning scales and notes and how to read them." Neah began and proceeded to pass out papers of blank sheet music.

He started to talk about the scales of music and the notes ranging from the lowest to the highest. Then started to explain the length of each note and that was when Allen started to zone out. She had already learned these basics when she was a child. 'Ow, not again.'

Allen had been getting headaches after she had visited her parents' graves. It came from when she had fainted after her first confrontation with Lenalee. Why they started so much later she had no idea but they came nonetheless.

"Mr. Campbell?" It was Lala "Yes." "What sort of music did you play before you came here?" "Let me think, when I was younger I used to play a lot a classical on the piano. When I grew older I learned to play jazz and a little bit of rock." Another student, Maria Saginario, asked another question. "What instruments do you play?" "Besides piano, bass, acoustic, and electric guitar, cello, violin, saxophone, trumpet, organ, synthesizer, and the clarinet."

"One more question." Maria requested, Neah nodded. "Are you dating anyone?" The class giggled and laughed, except for Allen, Lala, and Noise Marie. "Very funny Maria, but no I'm not dating anyone." Neah smiled a little before his eyes landed on Allen. "Speaking of instruments," Allen knew where this was going, "What instruments do you play, Miss Music Prodigy?" The class turned to look at her, waiting for an answer.

"I play the same instruments as you plus the flute, trombone, viola, bass, harp, drums, and the French horn. I don't know how to play the organ however." "Well would you be willing to play something for us? Any instrument in the class will do." Neah requested, some of the students voiced their agreements. Many wanted to see what their school's music prodigy could do.

"I suppose I could." Allen stood and began searching the room for an instrument and spotted the piano she had played last semester and the violin that laid on top of it. She picked up the violin. "Are there any requests?" "Anything you wish will be just fine." Allen thought for a moment before she started playing Lithium on the violin. It was one of her more liked songs.

When she finished the class applauded and the bell rang. "Okay then I guess that's all we had time for today. I want you all to start thinking of an instrument to learn because we're gonna start learning on Monday." With that the class disappeared, Allen being the last to leave.

"Allen are you okay, you look like you've been in pain all day?" Allen stopped walking. "Yes I'm okay they are only headaches." Neah didn't seem convinced but he dismissed her anyway. 'Just be careful from now on Allen.'

A/N: Alright everyone I'm back with another chapter. I know it's short but I've been a little busy with the new semester, thank goodness this one is shorter. I have a question for you all: Do you want any of the other D. Gray Man characters to sing? Depending on the answers I get, I might have Allen sing a duet with one or more of them, male or female doesn't matter to me I'll make it work. I look forward to seeing your answers. -Sinful V.
