Allen and Lala stood behind the stage patiently. Lala was extremely nervous while Allen watched her calmly. "Lala you need to relax, you'll stress yourself into a fainting spell." Allen told her with a small smile. "Says the person who has already performed in front of people." Lala countered.

"Actually this will be my first time performing in front a fairly large crowd. I suppose I'm handling this better than you." Allen replied. "Stop pacing and take a deep breath, think of something that makes you happy then let it all out." Lala did as she was told and as she released her breath they were called to come on stage.

"Alright I have faith in you Lala." Allen said honestly. "Now may I present our only duet for the evening, Lala Mollia and Allen Walker." The announcer said. Lala took a deep breath and walked out with Allen right behind her.

Lala stood in front of her peers and mumbled to herself. "I ask that you watch over me and grant me the strength to perform well this evening. Please watch me as I fulfill my dream Guzol." Lala then nodded to Allen who signaled the DJ to play the music.

La- The powdery snow, so fluttery flow, its painting so bright, puts the mountain in white
And inside a house decaying two souls remain
Holding tight, in the night, because it's cold there once again
Both- "I'll never forget, it snowed when we met."
You showed me a smile when you lowly told me that line
Just to hide my face in crimson I'd turn to you
And with your sleeve, I do believe you were my aid anew

Both- And with a single breath of joy
Just singing of the day when the spring returns
with all the flowers and the chirping birds
A- "Hey, I think your voice is beautiful" (Both)that was what you told to me
Both- That alone, those words you said, they would make me smile so eternally

Both- "If someday, I no longer have this voice, that you told was beautiful
Would you really, would you even love me how you surely did before?"
"But of course," you said and looked at me with the gentle smile I'd seek
As your palm oh so softly touched and stroked across my cheek

La- And then one summer day, we'd work our day away, but then you collapsed from that one illness you had
And because we were so poor in our married state
We could never quite afford a cure so you just had to wait
The day after that, and further ahead
I'd sit with the aim only to weave in your name
I would never ever want that your life should end
Just like the leaves an autumn day just fall and fade away

Both- And with the seasons flowing by
The sound of all the life that is around us slowly end the summer as they cry
A- "Hey, I think your hands are beautiful" (Both)was your words as you took a hold
Both- But I noticed your very own hands were much too soon turning much too cold

Both- "If someday, I no longer have these hands, that you told are beautiful
Would you really, would you even love me how you surely did before?"
"But of course," you said and looked at me and then coughed where you would stand
As your palm softly touched and then you stroked it across my hand

La- Weaving day and night, don't want to stop weaving just for your sake
A- Ah~ how I the breeze of dusk-
La- Just hurry, hurry now, I need to buy the only cure
A- Swaying to the decaying and fierce fruit's flame-
La- Listen, just a little more, just a little more, right before the leaves are falling
A- Until it goes out... out for eternity-
Both- Until my hands can't move, until all the feathers are gone for all eternity

La- "If someday, I no longer am the girl, that you told was beautiful
Would you really, would you even love me how you surely did before?"
But the truth that I so dearly feared was then left to be untold
Then I drew, just for you, the final feather alone...

A- "But of course," I said and looked at you with the gentle smile it brings
'Cause I promised I'd embrace you when you surely would lose your faithful wings
And the crane that had so gracefully taken flight upon that day
Both- I still know and remember, even now so far away
And just so forever and it is true, I'll forever love you

The student body was stunned in silence. That was until Tiedoll, Nea and Hevlaska began clapping. Lavi joined in seconds after, students slowly but surely began applauding for the duo. Soon the auditorium was filled with cheers of happiness mixed with sadness.

Many of them had tears in their eyes due to the beauty of the song as they stood and cheered for their fellow classmates. Lala beamed in joy and looked towards Allen in appreciation and admiration. Allen gave a gentle smile back.

"Thank you Allen for giving me this opportunity. I owe you a great deal." Lala said once they made it backstage. "You don't owe me anything Lala. I was happy to do this, I'm glad you got this experience."

"So Kanda did you enjoy the show?" Tiedoll asked the irate teen. Kanda shrugged but there was a small smirk on his face. "It was okay, I guess. The song was really good." "Yes it was, they rehearsed often even though it wasn't specifically for this night."

Kanda looked over in confusion. That was when Nea stepped in. "Lala has been considering a career in music. I told her to seek out Allen for help with a potential song." "Things turned out better than you expected didn't they?" Tiedoll asked with a silly smile.

"Yes they did and I couldn't be prouder at the moment. Her parents would be proud as well." He whispered the second half and yet Kanda still managed to hear it. 'Her parents aren't around either, huh? Wonder what happened.'

Later that night Kanda waited for Allen, as usual in their arrangement. "Kanda, you're here? I didn't expect to see you." Allen said while walking toward the older student. "Tiedoll dragged me out but I drove myself. I'm guessing you need another lift."

Allen sighed and gave a tired smile. "Yeah, afraid so. I'll tell Cross to pay you overtime if that helps Bakanda." She said as they began to walk. "Shut up before I decide to leave you here Moyashi." "For the last time its Allen!"

A/N: Thank you to all who followed and favored this story, this song is Seasonal Feathers done by JoyDreamer and aFlowerSmiles. I thought I would give you all these last two chapters as a present because today is my birthday. Woo! Anyway here's a preview to the first chapter of 'Gift to You'. -SinfulV.

The summer had finally rolled around. Kanda had been forced to stay with Allen while everyone else in his and Allen's family were out of town. Neither Tiedoll or Cross wanted them to be alone so Tiedoll had told Kanda to stay with Allen until they got back.

Tiedoll was traveling Europe for an art tour. Daisya was going to Spain and Portugal for some sort of soccer camp. Narain was moving onto the school's campus, so they won't see him as often. Marie went to Germany for a music convention; Cross was in Italy for who knows what, and Anita went back to China to learn new recipes.

Allen was slightly nervous about her first concert, but was determined to make it good, if not great. She planned on performing 'Dancer in the Dark', 'Circus Monster', 'Snow Kiss', 'Brightdown' and 'Worst Carnival'. It was possible that it would be in that order with maybe one break in between Snow Kiss and Brightdown to change.

Oh the joy of quick changes. However with the life she was going for she'd have to get use to it.

"Bakanda is missing again. Tim, have you seen him?" Allen asked her golden companion. The bird nodded and gestured to follow him. He led Allen to the back door that led to a sunroom. Past the sunroom was the backyard and training area.

Kanda was hitting multiple dummies with a wooden sword. He was focused and didn't notice as Allen leaned on the door outside of the sunroom while watching him. She looked bored even though she was intrigued by how graceful he made his movements.

Kanda paused and looked to the left to see Allen standing there. "Moyashi." "Its Allen, you jackass." She sighed and put her hands on her hips. "Do you always start practice this early?"

"Tch. Yes, but this is late considering I usually start at five." He grabbed his water bottle and a towel as he walked closer towards the much shorter female. "I thought you'd still be asleep right now." "It's 8 o'clock it's not unusual for me to be up like this during the summer. I don't sleep well in the heat." Allen said as she turned to walk inside. "Hn."
