Those idiots had the nerve to take my belt. At least they made it to easy to escape, Robin thought in the small amount of time it took him to completely wake up. Using the skills that Batman taught him, he made sure to remain perfectly still and keep his breathing at an even and slow pace. Robin had to say he was ashamed, losing consciousness because of a little pain; beyond unacceptable. It left him completely vulnerable and gave his captors the chance to remove his belt and start restraining him. Luckily he had woken up in time, otherwise it would have taken him a lot longer to uncuff himself; probably a whole 15 seconds, ugh.
Going at a slow and steady pace to not alert anyone of his actions, he turned his wrists so the cuffs would tighten around a wider area. He then proceeded to slide his arm farther into the cuff. By the time he was done and the cuff was 'tightened' it was around 3 times bigger than it should have been. Robin heard the Hood step back and begin talking with the woman that was down there with them.
Alright time to compare facts. I'm definitely underground and guessing from the fact that this place is made up of concrete and metal instead of dirt and wood I'm going to say that I'm still in the city. The space is also very large and contains runing electricity and some heavy duty equipment. To have something this big in the city with stuff this nice you need to have some major bucks. Best part is the quality of this area tells me that I'm in a popular part of the city not somewhere abandoned which means that I have to do is change into some civies and I'll be able to blend in instantly. All I have to do is find my belt, get out, and contact the Team.
Of course as all this was running through his head he subconsciously slipped out out of the cuffs in two seconds flat; amateurs. His plan to slip away before they noticed he was gone would have worked perfectly, until another person came down the stairs.
"Hey Oliver, you down here." Plan B it is. Slipping two hidden batarangs out from his glove he got ready to jump on Felicity. There was no way he could take out all 3 of these people if they all contained the same skill level as the Hood. However if he had a hostage he might stand a chance. Using the element of surprise he threw the batarangs, one at the Hood and one at the newcomer. While they were flying through the air he jumped onto Felicity's shoulders. Taking the cuffs that were still attached to one wrist he wrapped the chain in front of Felicity's neck, grabbed the other end and pulled it tight enough to cause her hands to fly up to the chain. Now Robin was right where he wanted to be, better yet he could see his utility belt sitting on some type of desk.
"Hand over my belt or she dies," growled Robin throwing out the best batglare he could manage. It was a bluff, a huge one at that because there is no way that Robin would ever kill anyone, but they didn't know that. As Batman said, theatrics and intimidation were the best weapons they had.
"Let her go" demanded the Hood.
"My belt." Annoyed that he lost, the Hood signaled to the new guy to grab it off the desk. Walking over he picked up the belt and brought it half way to Robin. Satisfied with the deal, he dropped the cuffs, pushed off Felicity's shoulders, flipped through the air, and snatched the belt out of the guy's hands. In an instant, it was once again securely snapped into place around his waist and he landed on a nearby chair. Tucking into a ball, he rolled off the chair and sprinted towards the stairs. With a cackle he leaped up the stairs, threw open the door, and raced through the opening. Freedom at last.
