I called him Ashton...Ashton. It's been a long time since that specific version of his name came out of my mouth. My eyes were slowly closing and I felt my body getting ready to sleep and the dampness of my face began to dry. I hope I feel better soon.
Normal P.O.V:
The 11 am to Rose Garden finally arrived at the station and the constant hustling and noise of the crowd was nothing compared to the Team Ash and their clear indication of their arrival. "Finally!" Exclaimed Ash as he stretched his limbs whilst making his way to the exit along with the members of Team Ash.
"I honestly thought the train ride was gonna be quicker". Ryo commented as he dragged his luggage.
"It was, but due to all three of you having motion sickness it would naturally feel longer". Drake replied whilst his concentration was on the map he had on his hands and was writing on the whole train journey.
"Plus you focused too much on trying not to focus on the train ride". Cora whispered as she patted her best friends back. Ryo looked at her and gave her a defeated smile. He knew that that she was right.
"According to this map, the hotel should be 3 minutes away." Drake said as he pointed in the direction they should all be heading to. Lexi's gaze was all over the place. She couldn't believe how beautiful and busy this city was. She remembered her father telling her the story where they visited the city with a priestess. She couldn't remember the details of the story but was still excited to be somewhere where the older generation had a history with.
The new generation arrived at the hotel and were more than ready to go and rest in their assigned rooms. The boys were sharing one room whilst Lexi and Cora were put together in the room next door.
In the boys room:
Ash ran and jumped on the first bed he saw once they entered the room. He couldn't be happy to lie in a comfortable bed and get a proper good nights sleep. Ryo smirked at his brothers antics. "For someone who like to call Nashi immature, you're a real kid too". Ryo commenter whilst putting his stuff away along with his brothers possessions. Drake chuckled at the comment made by the older dragon slayer.
"Whatever man" Ash replied whilst sticking his tongue out at his brother. "And what are you laughing at" Ash commented with a tone of mischief as he threw an unused pillow from his bed to Drakes head. It hit Drake square on the head causing him to fall on the floor. Ash and Ryo busted out laughing at the sight of the Fernandez kid on the floor with a confused look on his face.
"Oh is that how you want to play?" Drake said as he looked at the dragon brothers and had an evil glint in his eyes.
"Now...ahahah ahahah...drake...it was...aahhahahahahahahah...all Ash ahahah ahahah" Ryo laughed as he pointed at Ash who was still in bed dying of laughter. Next thing the dragon brothers knew they were being hit by multiple pillows.
"Pillow fight!" Ryo yelled as he jumped over to his bed to grab his pillows to defend himself.
"I'm fired up!" Ash yelled as he grabbed a pillow, stood on his bed and leaped towards Drake to hit him. The room was filled with laughter that could be heard from across the hallway.
In the girls rooms
In the girls bedroom it was the complete opposite atmosphere from what the boys had. Instead of being filled with laughter it was dead silent. Cora was sat on the bed nearest to the big window leading to the balcony and took in the view. Whilst Lexi was on the other side of the room unpacking her suitcase. The room was deadly silent which emphasised the sound of the girls breathing along with the rustling of Lexis suitcase.
"You not gonna unpack your suitcase?" Lexi asked breaking the soul crushing awkward silence.
"No". Cora replied silently.
Lexi sighed. She was gonna go insane in this hotel room and already predicted how uncomfortable the next few days were going to be. As Lexi packed the last few t-shirts, she decided to bite the bullet and start a conversation with the red eyed beauty.
"So how you enjoying Fairy tail?" Lexi asked whilst glancing up to Cora, who had her back towards Lexi.
"It's pretty good" Cora replied quietly not turning around to face Lexi. Lexi anticipated development to Coras answer but didn't get it. She decided to change the subject and try to get to know Cora.
"So how long have you known Ryoga?" Lexi asked whilst sitting on her bed.
"A very long time" Cora replied quietly. Lexi clenched her fists and looked up at the ceiling trying to keep her composure.
"I see you get along really well with him". Lexi said as she was getting into bed.
"Yeah" Cora replied. Lexi turned around to face away from Cora as she accepted that this conversation wasn't going to develop.
"We've been through so much that we've become inseparable" Cora said quietly. Lexi opened her eyes and turned on her back. She couldn't believe that she got a longer response.
"I really like everyone at Fairy Tail too. They are so warm and welcoming. I especially love Nashi, she just brings sunshine into every room she steps into which is a quality that Ryo had always had since were were kids. Ash has that too but the way he does it makes me want to follow him around". Cora added as she got into bed and faced the window. Lexi chest hurt a little when Cora mentioned Ash. The idea of Cora following Ash bothered her but she didn't know why. The way Cora was also comfortable with saying Ash also made her twinge. Lexi wanted explanations to her emotions.
"Yeah" Lexi replied, not knowing what to say.
"Good night" Cora whispered as she turned of the lamp in between the two beds and turned back to face the window again.
"Yeah" Lexi whispered and stared at the ceiling.
