School takes all your time away... Now, there won't really be any Kitty in this, but stay tuned, cause I promise there will be a lot of every x man in the next one! I'm not sure if the next one's gonna be the end, or whether I decide to make it a bit longer...

Logan knew something was wrong, he could feel it all the way into his adamantium bones. The kids hadn't said a single word at dinner, and that alone was enough to make him concerned. They didn't really eat anything either, Kitty got an apple, and Kurt only ate one plate of pasta.
He couldn't bear seeing them being all sad, so just about an hour later he decided to crash into the boys room, threw the blanket that he hid under away, and threw him over his shoulders.
It didn't work at first, since he simple bamfed away, and then stubbornly hid himself inside the closet.
It took a lot of small talk before he followed on his own free will.
Logan then guided him into the training room.
"So, what happened this time?"
"Nothing, really, I just said some things that I didn't mean, and now she won't talk to me. I mean, I didn't mean to call her a freak, it just blurred out of me. I felt offended, like I had to protect myself, and didn't really think before it was too late. She has every right to be mad at me, I don't really mind, but I'm just afraid that instead of punishing me, she's gonna punish herself. She didn't eat nothing but an apple this morning, and skipped lunch, I guess she's really upset. I just, wasn't supportive enough, I should have, but I wasn't.
Oh man, what if she starves herself, I would never be able to live it down!"
"Elf please, calm down. We'll keep an eye on her."
"You can stare as much as you want, but that aren't going to make her feel better!"
"What about you?"
"What? What do you mean?"
"How are you feeling. You keep on talking about half-pint and how she's feeling, but what about you? How are you feeling Kurt?"
"Don't be stupid, this isn't about me... It never really was."
"And what do you mean by that?"
"Isn't it obvious? I'm nothing more than a supporting role in my own life. I'm the goofball that makes all the other characters feel better about themselves, and when I fail to do that, then I'm nothing but failure."
"And how does that make you feel?"
"It feels like a burden. Having to make everyone else happy, when you aren't happy yourself."
"Then why bother?"
"Why bother? Are you trying to tell me, that just because I can't be happy, no one else has the right to be? Everyone has a right to be happy!"
"So do you. Hey pal, I don't know what's going through that thick skull of yours, but try not to think about all the negative stuff all the time. Yes, you aren't like the other kids, you never were, and you never will be, so why is being liked by everyone so important to you? You're amazing kid, just the way you are. You may not see yourself in a positive way, but your family do."
"What do you even know, I'm not so sure my family ever loved me, I was just the adopted son. My brother got killed, my mom is a sorceress, and me and my sister, well, we kinda have an awkward relationship. I never really hear from them. Kitty on the other hand do, her mom calls her at least once in a week.
"Hey I'm sorry about your home kiddo, and I understand that you're a bit jealous on half-pint, but you shouldn't be. You two have more in common than you might think. Besides, this is your home now. You have been here for two months already, and I think you fit in just fine."
"You do? You don't think I'm a burden to the team?"
"No, not at all, why would you? We all have our own things to deal with."
"I guess but that doesn't really make me feel better."
"What will then, tell me."
"It's just that, even though I've been here for months, I still know so little about everyone. I feel like the outcast . Even though I live in a school filled with people like me, they all feel like strangers."
"I know it's hard to go through such big changes, but you have to accept it sooner or later. You know what they say, before loving others, you have to love yourself."
"I don't even know why we're having this conversation. Excuse me Logan, I have a big math test tomorrow, and I need to study."
Kurt stood up and headed for the door. Since when did Logan get the role as personal psychiatrist any way?
"Tomorrow is Sunday."
"Then I'll just make it now, then I don't have to think about that the night before Monday. Now leave me alone!"
"Hiding from your problems aren't gonna help yah, you know that!"
"Uh yeah, then watch and learn!"
With that he disappeared, and only a cloud of black smoke stayed behind.
The plan that started out all harmless, was now getting very serious, as the kids health now was on the line.
Logan walked fast paced through the empty hall, and didn't slow down till he stood outside the professors door. He didn't even knock first, but headed right inside. He then grabbed the end of the table Charles was sitting at, and looked him intensely in the eyes.
"Chuck, we have a problem."
Charles simply nodded.
"I know, Storm has already told me that some tension is growing between the youngsters."
"Not just tension, these kids are hurting themselves! The game is over, we have to come up with something big to save these kids self-esteem."
Charles thought about it for a second then replied "We can agree that all this insecurity mainly comes from experiences gained from a younger age."
"Yeah I guess."
"Then this might be risky, but I think it's time that our students learn a little bit more about each other. They are a team, and they have to know about each other's talents, and weaknesses."
"And with that you mean?"
"I mean, that these kids will need to let go. They are boiling over with secret feelings, and unless they find a way to get it out of their way, then it's only a matter of time before someone bursts."
"So, you want them to sit in a circle and tell their life stories?" Logan asked sarcastic, only to reward him with a look of seriousness.
"That was my plan yes. While this might be a little too pedagogical, I still think it's necessary."
"Uhm, okay then? When will this happen then?"
"Tomorrow, right after lunch..."
