*Chapter 2: See, Hear, Speak No Evil*

Judy was walking to school one morning, which is not too far from where she lived. The sky was full of clouds, and it might rain soon. Good thing she brought her jacket with her for school. Andy insists her to be dropped off by either him or Kyle, but Judy told him she was okay by walking since it's not raining yet. As Judy had one block away, she hears a sound from behind her. She turned and saw a black cat, meowing at her. Judy smiled and kneeled down to pet it gently.

"Hello, kitty. Are you lost?" She asked it as the black cat snuggled her with its head. Judy giggled a bit, but then saw an old woman coming towards her with a grin.

"Like my cat, dear?" She asked. Judy stood up and nodded. "She loves coming up to people, including children." The old woman said. "That is, unless, you have mice or fish on you." Judy laughed a bit at the old woman's joke. "I know, I'm messing with everyone a lot with that joke. But, cats loves mice and fish. What else do they like?"

"What's the cat's name?" Judy asks.

"Her name is Mittens." The old woman said. The black cat came to its owner with a purr and started to nuzzle her. Judy said her good-bye to the cat and the woman and walked off to get to school on time. The old woman watched her in silent, and made a sad sigh. "So young. And her future was in fate..." She says. She took her cat and walk down the sidewalk to get back to her little house.

Andy came outside of the building for a break. He took out a cigarette and a lighter. As he lighted it, he made a puff, and noticed a car driving by with a familiar face inside. A man came out with a small smile. He is no other than Mike Norris himself.

"Hello, Andy. How you been?" He asked coming up to Andy. "Smoke break now, huh?"

"Yeah. I have the building to myself for now, as always. Kyle is out shopping, and Judy is in school." He says. "So, how are you?"

"Just the usual." Mike replied by taking out his own cigarette. "I called your mother this morning, and she said something that she wants to invite us over for dinner tomorrow night, and she's been about Judy." Andy smiled after he puffed a smoke. "So, Judy's fine, huh? And...how old is she again?" Mike asked.

"She's 7. And she's only in 2nd grade." Andy replied. "She's still upset after what happened to my wife. Last night, she was wearing a necklace that Kristen got her, and she told me she wanted her back. I can't stand seeing her so sad. It's like me when..." Andy trailed off when he shuts his eyes of the memories of his childhood. Mike pats his back in comfort.

"It's okay, Andy. The doll is dead forever." He said. "And...Judy doesn't know about him, right?"

"No. She's doesn't know. I don't want her to know a thing about Chucky. She can't have her childhood ruined like mine." Andy replied with a look. "I have to whatever it takes to protect my little girl. She is all I have since Kristen died. Still, you, my mom, and Kyle are there for us when we need you. And I'm glad that Kyle moves in to help me out with Judy."

"She's a good woman. Kyle is a great aunt to the kid of yours." Mike said with a small smile. Andy smiled back at him. They talked some more before they go inside the shop of Andy's. A police car parked by and a woman in a uniform come out with a gun in her hand. She has light brown hair tied in a ponytail, and green eyes with a beauty mark below the left eye. As she walked in, Mike and Andy turned to her as they both came behind the counter.

"Hello, how can I help you?" Andy greeted with a smile. The police woman took out her pistol and place on the counter.

"My gun seems to be busted, and I need to get a new one." She told him.

"Why can't your station fix it?" Mike asks. "I happen to be a detective and-"

"No, this is...for my house." The woman says in a quiet tone. Andy laughed a bit. He took the gun and went back to the room to get a pistol for her. Mike came to her to talk to her. "So, what police station do you work in?" She asked.

"From a different town. I come here to visit. Andy is...a friend of mine from when he was a little kid." Mike replied. "So, what's your name?"

"I'm Ellie. Nice to meet you, sir." The woman replied as she shook hands with Mike.

"Mike Norris. Nice to meet you too." Mike greeted with a nod. Andy came back with the gun and hand it to Ellie. The cop paid him and said goodbye to them and left the shop. Andy smiled and watched her go inside her police car. Mike chuckled at Andy. "You like her?" He asked.

"Her? Well, she's pretty, but-" Andy stuttered a bit.

"Oh come on, Andy. She seems perfect for you. She's a cop, and looks fearless to me." Mike said. Andy turned to him with a smirk.

"Then you like her more than I do." He said. Mike laughed and smacked his back. Andy went around the counter to get to the stairs. "Want something to drink?" Andy asked.

"No thanks. I'm gonna be leaving in a minute. I only wanted to drop by." Mike answered by taking out his phone. "Tell your mom I said 'hi'. Same to Judy." Andy nodded and went up the stairs as Mike went out the door.

The bell rings in the whole school, and the kids rushed out of the classrooms, relieved that school is over for today. Friday is in three days til the weekend. Judy walked out of the classroom as she is putting on her jacket and her backpack. Before she wandered down the hallway, she hears a boy with blonde hair calling her. But, Judy didn't turn around. The boy and the other two kids are bullying her for a strange reason.

"Crazy Barclay! Crazy Barclay! Crazy Barclay!" They chanted with laughs. Judy covered her ears and ran down the halls, hearing the mean kids laugh at her.

"Your daddy is a nut! He says his Good Guy doll is alive when he was a little kid!" One of the kids yelled. The second boy chimed in.

"Chucky is gonna get you! Chucky is gonna get you!" He repeated. Judy stopped and shuts her eyes while she continues to cover her ears. The kids laughed at her. The laughs echoed through the halls. Judy's tears fell from her eyes as she open them and dash out the door. She ran pass the other kids and hid behind the bushes and sat on the ground, sobbing a bit. She had no idea why those kids bully her like that. Why do they think she is crazy? And why do they make fun of her father like that? But, who is Chucky? Judy couldn't answer all the questions she had in her mind.

"Oh please, God, help me." Judy whispered. She dried her tears with the sleeve of her jacket and got up. She walked down the sidewalk to get home. But then, a car pulled by and Kyle's voice called to Judy.

"Hey, sweetie. Get in. Let's go to Star Bucks and have hot chocolate." She says with a smile. Judy smiled at her and got in the car. Kyle drives off as Judy puts on a seatbelt. "How's school today? Did you all enjoy the weather?" She asks with a giggle.

"...It's fine." Judy lied. She didn't want to talk about what just happened not too long ago with those bullies. Besides that, this day was bad. Not because of the weather, because of teachers. One of them is a substitute who treats the kids where Judy is bad. It's tough being a kid.

"You okay? Sounds like you don't have a good day at school." Kyle asks in concern.

"It's nothing. It's just...the same old boring day. We didn't go outside, because of the stupid rain." Judy lied. Kyle seems to buy it, but Judy feels guilty of lying to her aunt like this. "How's daddy?" Judy asked, changing the subject.

"He's fine. Mike visited him today while I was out for a bit." Kyle replied with a smile. "He said hi to you." Judy smiled a little. Good to hear from him.

Late that night, lightning strikes the dump, and thunder was loud. A knife sticks out of the black bag and went back inside. Plastic hands pulled the opening apart, and a head pops out. Chucky crawled out of the bag with his knife, he felt raindrops hitting his head. He made a snarl of hate, and screamed throughout the dump. The rats ran away in fear. The scarred doll stomped out of the gates with a hateful sneer. His blood is boiling.

"Andy Barclay..." He growled. "You are so dead! You and your kid are going to die by my own hands!"
