*Chapter 7: If Walls Could Bleed*

Judy ran down the block to get to the apartment as quickly as possible. She had to hide from Chucky. He's after her. Now, she regretted herself to be friends with him in the first place, and she doubted her father. She spotted her father's shop, she's home. Judy ran across the street to get to the door, but it's locked. She had to go to the door that leads to the apartment, but she could figure that door is locked as well because Andy had to pick her up from school and lock everything.

"Where do I go?" Judy asked herself, looking around to find a place to hide from Chucky. She could go to the police station to find Mike or hide there. But, will they believe her story? Mike would. Judy ran pass the building to find a police station. Nobody around her could help her. Judy will have to be strong on her own. "I'll be okay. I'll be okay." She says to herself. "I have to go to the police."

"Judy!" A male voice called her. She turned around and saw Mike driving by. "What're you doing out here? Come on, get in!" He told her. Judy ran around to get in the passenger seat. "Are you okay? Did Chucky hurt you?"

"No. But, he is following me. He's going to kill me." Judy replied, shaking. Mike cursed and drove off.

"It's okay. I'm taking you to the police station. You'll be safe there. I'll let your dad and your aunt know that you're with me." He said.

"Mike, why is Chucky after me?" Judy asked. Mike looked at her, didn't say a word to her. If only he knew the answer, but Andy knows it. Judy looked back to view the other cars and the buildings they passed. Chucky isn't seen anywhere.

"Don't worry. You're safe with me. Chucky won't get you as long as you're with me." Mike assured her by patting her lap. "You're going to be okay. I promise." Judy nodded, trusting him completely. She hoped Chucky wouldn't find her at the station.

Andy got off the phone with Mike, and told Ellie that Judy is safe with him and they have to get to the police station. Ellie nodded, feeling very relieved about the girl's safety. As Ellie drives, she had to ask how the doll came to life back there and why would he want to kill innocent people.

"Andy, I need answers. How in the hell did that doll come to life? Was it possessed or what?" She asked.

"It's a long story, and I really don't want you to get involved. He will kill you too." Andy said. "Ellie, just please, stay out of this situation. Let Mike and the rest who knew about this handle it. Kyle and I can handle it, but I do want you to stay with Judy to keep her away from Chucky."

"No, I'm already involved in this shit, Andy!" Ellie said with a look. "I'm scared, but I will help you. I don't know who really that doll is, but I will shoot his ass myself."

"You don't understand!" Andy cried. "His soul possesses the doll!" Ellie stopped at the red light, and turned to Andy in silent. "He's Charles Lee Ray. He was gunned down back in 1988, and he cheated death. He's in the doll, Ellie. He wants to transfer his soul in me, because I'm his first one who told his secret to. But, he wouldn't want my body now after what happened to him after 25 damn years. Now he's after my daughter."

"...Andy. I...I don't know what to think..." Ellie says by shaking her head. "But, I did see him with my own eyes. Please Andy. Let me help you. I will keep Judy safe from the killer. I promise you that." Andy stared at her, giving her a nod. Thinking that more help would make them stronger and Chucky will be weak. He couldn't challenge everyone who are on Andy's side.

Ellie and Andy walked in the station to see Kyle waiting in the lobby to see Judy. Ellie came to the chief to introduce herself and Andy, but then, Mike came out to call Kyle in, same goes with Andy, but Ellie remained behind. Maybe she could be in this police station after this is all over.

"Is Judy okay?" Andy asked as he and Kyle followed Mike down the halls. Mike stopped by the door to open it and inside is Judy with a police woman with dark brown hair in a bun. Andy came in and gave his daughter a hug. Kyle came to them and hug both of them. Mike nodded at the woman who nodded back and left the room.

"Oh sweetie, we're so glad you're okay." Kyle said. Judy looked at her aunt in silent. "Chucky didn't hurt you, did he?"

"No." Judy replied.

"Judy, listen to me." Andy said, looking at her in the eyes. "Now you know the truth about him, the only way to stay away from him is to stay here with Mike and the police. Chucky won't get you. You're safe here. Don't leave the station. Okay?" Judy nodded.

"Where's Marcus?"

"He's fine with his parents. They're okay." Andy replied with a small smile. "But, we need them here as well to safety's sake. Marcus is in danger too."

"...I'm sorry." Judy says as tears were forming in her eyes.

"What? For what?" Andy asked in concern. Judy wipe her tears, sniffing a little.

"...Chucky was in the basement and I...didn't know he was bad." She said. Andy didn't say anything. That's how Judy know him from the beginning. Chucky sneaks in and tricked Judy by acting like an innocent doll. Andy brought Judy close to embrace her.

"No. It's not your fault, sweetie." He told her. "It's mine. I...should've told you, but...I don't want to scare you. You're too young to understand. But, now we're at risk. I promise I will protect you." Judy stared at him in silent. She remembered those newspaper articles in the basement. And then met Chucky down there, waiting for her. Andy continued to speak. "Now, your aunt and I will go get Jesse, Jade, and Marcus. Mike, Ellie, and the rest of the cops will look after you. Don't go anywhere." He said.

"What if Chucky gets here anyway?" Judy asked.

"I told you he won't. This place is crawling with security." Andy replied. "You're safe." Judy gave him a nod. She trusts her father. "Okay. We'll be back. Stay here and be good." So, Andy and Kyle left the room as Judy watched them in silent. Mike sat in the chair across from Judy.

"Everything will be alright, Judy." He said. "Chucky can't hurt you. He will have to go through us. We're stronger than him. And I know you're strong, Judy. You and everyone else is strong. You know that?" Judy nodded at him, not saying a word. "Let me get you some water. Be right back." Mike said as he got up to leave the room. Judy remained in her seat. She looked out the window to see the dark clouds up in the sky. The storm begins tonight. Another fear that Judy couldn't get over. The other night, she hardly sleeps during the storm. But right now, she will have to face it because Chucky is the worst fear she encountered.

After for almost an hour, Ellie keeps Judy entertained by playing Go Fish. Judy is expecting her family and friends to arrive, but they never show up. Something must've happened. Did Chucky get them? Ellie noticed the expression as she held the cards.

"It'll be okay, Judy. I'm sure they're on their way by now." Ellie said. "We all have to be indoors because of the storm."

"...Yeah." Judy murmured. "I hope Chucky didn't get them."

"No, he wouldn't. Not in this weather." Ellie says, trying to calm down the girl. "Well, do you have any 3's?" Judy looked at her cards and gave one of them to Ellie. The game goes on until the lights go out. "Ah shit." Ellie groaned. "The power is out." Ellie got out her flashlight and gave it to Judy. "Take this. I want you at my sight." Judy gripped on the flashlight as Ellie heads out. Judy had the light on her to see her. Other cops were talking and trying to find the power to get the lights back on. Mike came with his flashlight.

"Judy? You okay?"

"Yeah. Ellie is out there trying to get the lights back on." Judy replied. Mike grabbed her hand gently.

"C'mon. I don't want you by yourself in here." He said by dragging her to the hall to get to the lobby, but then, a crash is heard nearby. Like something fell to the floor and glass shattered everywhere. Judy held on to Mike's leg, gripping on his brown pants. "Judy, hide behind the counter in front." Mike said. Judy rushed in the lobby to hide. Mike uses his flashlight to find something, taking his gun out. There is a lamp on the floor, broken. The door behind him shuts, and a click is heard. Someone locked Mike in the room. The detective came to the door, turning the knob, but he couldn't pull or push it open. He yelled for anybody to get him out of the room.
Outside the door, Chucky puts the key in his overall pocket, chuckling as he is listening to Mike's yelling and hitting the door.

"Would love to kill you in there, Mikey, but I have a kid to hunt." Chucky says. He took out a knife and looked around for Judy. He knew she is hiding in the lobby somewhere, in the shadows. "Judy. Come out, come out, wherever you are." He sang. "Where are you sweetheart?" He looked behind the desks, and there is nothing but paperwork and boxes. "I don't have all night, kid!" Chucky growled. "Where the fuck are you?" As he walked to the different direction, Judy silently peeked over to see him walking away. She hid by the desk as she heard his voice getting close, and she had to move as fast and quietly as possbile or she is done for. She couldn't stay long. A door in the hall is right there, and Judy had to get there. She checked back to see if Chucky is sighted, but he is gone.

"Where'd he go?" Judy whispered to herself. No sound or anything from the doll. He is nowhere in sight. He was just here. Judy figured that Chucky could be hiding and waited for Judy to come out of the desk. The door burst open and a man in a police uniform came inside with a cigarette in his mouth.

"Hey! Why is it so dark in here?" The man growled. Mike's voice was heard from the other room where Chucky locked him in. Before the man could go towards the door, he spotted Judy hiding behind the desk. "What the hell?" He asked. "What are you doing-" A bang was heard and the man's forehead got a bullet hole and blood is oozing out. Judy screamed and backed away from the body that fell in front of her. She turned around to see Chucky above her on the desk, smirking down at her, holding a gun in his hand.

"Hello, Judy." He says, forming a grin. Judy is scared of his grin, it's like the Cheshire Cat's grin. Judy couldn't move because Chucky has a gun, and he pointed it at her, aiming for her head. "This won't hurt a little..."

"Get the fuck away from her!" A voice yelled, and Chucky felt a bullet hitting his shoulder. He cried out, and he was slapped away off the desk. Judy gasped and saw Ellie coming over and help her up. "Are you okay?" Ellie asked. "Are you hurt?"

"I'm fine! We have to help Mike! He's locked in the room!" Judy said. Ellie nodded and took her hand to leave the lobby to get to Mike. But bullets shot the walls, making Ellie cry out in alarm. Chucky tried to shoot her and Judy, but he misses them as they ran down the dark hallway to get to Mike.

"You little bitches!" Chucky shouted.

"Judy, hide in here. I'll distract the doll." Ellie said by opening the door where she and Judy are in before. "And don't ever come until I say so. Understand me?"

"No! He still will come after me no matter what!" Judy says.

"Just lock the door, and he won't get in." Ellie said. "Trust me on this. I can handle him. Stay here." She gently push Judy inside the room and closed the door. She can hear a click from the inside. Judy is safe. Ellie reloaded her gun and look around for Chucky. "Where are you, you son of a bitch?"

"Ellie! Help!" Mike's voice called. Ellie came over to the locked door and try to open it by force. She told Mike to stand back as she is getting ready to kick the door open. With a powerful kick, the door swung open and Mike is against the desk in awe. "Thanks. Where's Judy?"

"Safe and sound." Ellie replied. "Come on, we have to-"

"Aaaahhh!" A scream of Judy's is heard. Ellie and Mike rushed out of the room to get down to the hallway. They see Chucky shooting the door with a gun in order to get inside, but was stopped by Ellie. Chucky shot Ellie's shoulder, making her yell in agony. Mike blocked the door, taking out his gun, but felt a knife stabbing his leg. He screamed and got on his knees. Chucky is about to shoot his head until Judy cried out. "Leave them alone!" She screamed.

"You'll have your turn!" Chucky growled.

"No! Please, spare them! Leave them alone!" Judy pleaded as tears fall from her eyes. "Don't kill them! Please!" Chucky watched her in amusement. She is Andy's daughter alright. He did the exact same thing before. Sparing everyone else's lives. "What do you want from us?!" Judy asked. "What do you want from me?! What did I do to you?!" Chucky pulled the trigger to shoot the door, making her quiet and hide behind the door, away from the bullet holes.

"It's because of your fucking father, you brat!" Chucky snapped. "We go a long way back when he was young, just like you. You two act the same. Whiny little bitches." Judy didn't face him through the bullet holes. Tears were dripping on the floor. She is so scared. Chucky chuckled a little.

"I can smell your fear, sweetie." He taunted. "I couldn't wait to see you choking on your blood..." Judy found a little hatchet on the floor. She could use it against Chucky. She crawled over to grab it and hid behind the desk. "Your cop friends ain't gonna help you now. Neither will your daddy!" Chucky says as he begins to shoot the door to make a big hole to get inside, and Judy remained hidden from the killer doll. She has to find a way out of here. Away from Chucky.

"God, help me." Judy whispered. Crashing is heard, and Chucky's laughter is filled in the room.

"Here's Chucky!"
