*Chapter 8: Alive and Deceased*
Gripping on the little ax, Judy waits for the moment to swing the weapon at Chucky who is climbing through the door. The doll grunted a little and brush down his overalls. He looked around the room, and knew that Judy could be hiding behind the desk. Smirking, he had his gun loaded and knife ready for the killing. He walked over to the desk, and then...
"Ahh!" Judy cried out as she swung the hatchet at Chucky. The doll screamed in surprise, and cry out in pain as the hatchet butchered his chest on the right. Judy ran out of the room and found Mike and Ellie on the floor, out cold. Now they couldn't help her. Judy is helpless now. She is on her own now, and she couldn't wait for her father's return. Judy ran out the door to be outside and the sun is setting and purple clouds were seen in the sky.
"Where do I go?" She asked herself. "My house is too far from here. I need to hide." Judy ran down the sidewalk to leave the police station. She really feels guilty of leaving Ellie and Mike back there. Chucky could kill them by now and then search for Judy. Maybe she should turn back for her friends...
"Judy! Where the fuck are you?!" A voice yelled. Judy gasped and hid behind the trash cans by the building. Chucky's coming out. She can his footsteps in a fast pace. He's running on the sidewalk. Judy remained still and quiet. Chucky's shadow is seen on the sidewalk, and she can see him running off with a gun and a knife. He didn't see her hiding.
"Oh, thank god..." Judy whispered and slowly left the trash cans. "I...have to make sure if Mike and Ellie are-" A hand covered her mouth, making her muffle in fear. She looked up to see Mike's face. He released her and Judy embraced him. "I thought he killed you!"
"Shh! C'mon, Ellie and I are taking you somewhere safe. I called Karen. You're going to stay with her from now on." Mike told her by taking her hand. "I'll call your father and aunt about this."
"Grandma Karen? I have to stay with her until all of this is over?" Judy asked.
"There's no other choice. Chucky doesn't know where your grandma lives, so it's the only way to keep you safe." Mike replied. "But still, I'm relieved you're okay. Now come on, we don't have much time. Chucky might come back for us as well." He took Judy in the car where Ellie is sitting in front. Judy was settled in the backseat and Mike got in front to drive. Ellie looked back to check on Judy and saw her laying down in silent, shutting her eyes as tears are running down.
"It's okay, hon. It'll be over soon." Ellie said, hoping to calm down the girl. Judy didn't respond. All she wanted is her father along with Kyle.
Somewhere outside the city, there is a two story house with a rose bush and a tree that anyone can climb on, and a woman in her late 50s, waiting outside her house. She sees a car pull up and she rushed over to the door to see her granddaughter.
"Oh, sweetie. Are you okay?" She asked as Judy got out of the car. Judy nodded and hugged her.
"Karen, we're going to head back to see if Andy is back with this family who was involved in all this." Mike said. Karen nodded and took Judy to the door. Mike and Ellie left the driveway to return town. Judy watched as the door closes by Karen.
"Oh, Judy. I'm so glad you're okay." She said by hugging her. "Your father will be okay. He'll stop by to check on you."
"Grandma, who is Chucky?" Judy asked. "He's not...really a doll, is he?" Karen looked at her with a serious look.
"He's used to be a Lakeshore Strangler for years, and he transferred his soul into a doll." She told her. "He wants to take your daddy's body to be human again, but Mike and I stopped him. But, the doll tries to get your father, and yet, he never succeeded. Now, we have to stop him."
"What if we couldn't stop him, grandma?" Judy asked with a worried look on her face. "He's gonna kill me."
"No, he won't. We won't let him hurt you." Karen said. She took her granddaughter's hand to take her to the kitchen to feed her dinner.
In the academy, there are two teenage twins in the room wearing uniforms away from Hollywood since their mother is away for a while for some "business". But, the girl knows what business it is, and the boy...he didn't like it one bit. What can they say? They are the children of Chucky and Tiffany. Glen is on the phone with his mother to see how much longer is it gonna take for Glen and Glenda to return home.
"Yes, mom. I understand. Okay. I love you too. Bye." Glen hung up the phone. "It could take weeks, Glenda. Dad is still on the hunt." Glenda wasn't really listening, she has her headphones on and reading a book in silent. "Why is mother still helping our father? Killing is bad." Glen sat on his bed and look up at the ceiling. "It's been a while since we've seen him, Glenda. After our 5th birthday, dad is..." Glen trailed off when he remembered that day when he opened the present and there was Chucky's arm. He shivered at the thought when the arm tried to choke the poor child. When years pass, things have changed. Chucky isn't after his own family, he's after something else from the past.
"Glen, don't worry of what dad is gonna do." Glenda spoke as she took off her headphones. "And since we are here for a time being, we'll be back home." Glen didn't reply to her. He didn't like this. He had to pray for the ones who would get away from Chucky.
"So, her name is Tiffany, and she turns into a doll because of Chucky?" Andy asked. Jesse nodded as he told him the year when he and Jade were tricked into the road trip to New Jersey to take the evil dolls to the cemetery. "But, she is dead, isn't she?"
"Yes." Jade replied. "She...wanted to save us, but...we took care of Chucky."
"I don't know who else could be helping Chucky now since he is alive after all that shit." Jesse said. "Our kids are at risk right now. Chucky is after my son, and your daughter. He wants to kill them because we're into hell. The doll wants revenge."
"I know he wants revenge, but..." Andy said. "He's after me. I'm the first one he told his secret to. He wants my body for years, and now...he wants me dead for good. I thought I finish him since the day he came to my apartment... And he wants to kill my little girl."
"We'll stop him, Andy." Jade says, placing her hand on Andy's shoulder. "Our children will be safe again. If that doll wants them, he will have to get through us first." Andy smiled at her and Jesse. The three went to the car where Marcus and Kyle are sitting. "Andy, we have to take Marcus to a safer area." Jade said.
"Don't worry, I know a place." Andy said as he started the car. "Mike called me about Judy. She's now at my mom's. So, we'll drop off Marcus there." The car took off down the road. Andy will stop Chucky once and for all to keep his family and friends safe. But, little did they know, Chucky is holding on the back of the car, getting ready for the next phase.
