*Chapter 11: One Killing Journey*

A taxi stopped by Andy's Gun Shop, and Tiffany got out of the back of the cab and paid the driver. After the taxi left, Tiffany looked up at the closed store and the apartment above it. She heard this is where Andy's family lives and now they are on the run from her ex-husband. Tiffany was about to pick the lock until she hears a familiar voice behind her.

"Mom?" She turned around, and there is Glen there in a black sweater with dark ripped jeans and white shoes. He stood there in worry, and his eyes are filled with fear. "What're you doing here?"

"Glen? How did you get here?" Tiffany asked, trying not to cry out. "Where's Glenda?"

"Glenda's inside." Glen replied. The door opened, and there is Glenda coming out in a pink sweater with a blue skirt and boots.

"Good evening, mother." Glenda greeted with a smirk. Tiffany stares at the twins.

"How did you get here? You're far away from the academy and-"

"Someone wants us here. Some kind of 'friend' who wants us to help this girl." Glen replied. "Her name is Judy Barclay."

"A God of Voodoo." Glenda said. "You know, the Damballa guy?" Tiffany's eyes grew wide. Her children were summoned here to aid Judy's help. But, Tiffany never thought that certain people can talk to Damballa. "Mom?" Glenda spoke. "What're you thinking?"

"I...I don't know how to think of this..." Tiffany spoke. "Are you sure you are telling me the truth about this?" The twins nodded at her. Tiffany got out her phone and search through the contacts. "Chucky's got some explaining to do." She had her phone against her ear, hearing the ring. Glen and Glenda notice the car pulling up. They shield their eyes from the headlights, and Tiffany turned around and shield her eyes with one hand. The figure got out of the car and stood in front of them. Tiffany tried to get a good look at the man, and she realize who this is...

"It's you..."

Judy kept banging on the door of Karen's house, but no one was answering. Did they leave because Judy ran off? Now her family and friends could be anywhere. Ruby came up to her.

"We can't stay here." She said. Judy tries to hold back her tears. She can't cry. Not now.

"Where could they be?" She asked.

"We'll find them, but right now we have to get you to a safe haven. My apartment's only a few miles. Chucky won't find us there." Ruby said. Judy had to go with her to be safe. It's still dark, but will be morning in a few hours. This has been a long night. Ruby and Judy left the house to get to the apartment of Ruby's.

Mike is searching every corner of the neighborhood for Judy with his flashlight as he drives slowly and Kyle and Karen are in the back looking around as well by using their phones as flashlights.

"Judy!" Kyle called. "Judy!"

"Oh god, where could she be?" Karen asked in worry. "I hope Chucky didn't get her already."

"No. Judy is too fast for him." Mike replied. "She could be hiding anywhere from the damn doll."

"Oh god, she must be so scared." Karen said. "We gotta find her." Kyle's phone rang and she answered it.

"Any luck?" She asked. "Oh shit, you couldn't find her either huh? Dammit. Well, we have to keep looking. Later." She hung up. "That was Andy. He and his group didn't have luck either. She's nowhere in town or anywhere."

"Maybe she's at the different part of town?" Karen wondered.

"Where...that witch doctor used to live?" Mike asked. "Karen, that place is empty. It's been empty since he was killed by Chucky years ago. Besides, those apartments are very territorial."

"Well, we've got to try and search there." Kyle said. "Judy could be hiding there." Mike cursed and turn his car around. He can do anything to get Judy back, but he didn't like the idea of her being in the bad side of the town. Kyle started to call Andy back.

Ruby opened the door of the apartment that is small, but it doesn't matter to Judy. Inside the living room was voodoo merchandise. Dolls, staffs, jewelry, and more. As Judy sat by the fireplace, Ruby gave her a necklace with a simple charm on it.

"This is the tooth of the snake. It's a lucky charm." She said by putting it on Judy. "Usually the rabbit's foot is lucky, but this charm is lucky. As long as you wear it, you will not be harmed." Judy smiled at her in thanks. "You need some sleep, Judy. We'll find your family first thing in the morning."

"But, I'm not tired." Judy said.

"You will be. Here, I'll make some warm tea for us." Ruby said by going in the little kitchen. Judy climbed on the red couch and rest on it. It's been a long day. She wants to search for her father and everybody, but Chucky is out there somewhere looking for her. Ruby came back in the room to wait for the pot to boil. Judy sat up to look at Ruby.

"How did your grandpa die?" She asked. Ruby didn't say anything to her. "Chucky killed him?"

"Yes. He did." Ruby said. "You should know that. My grandfather, John Bishop, he was a teacher of Chucky's. He taught him voodoo after Damballa."

"But, why would Chucky kill him?" Judy asked, wanting to know every detail. Ruby sighed a little.

"I was told that my grandfather was...stabbed. Chucky uses the voodoo doll to kill my grandfather." She said. "Chucky did that because he wants to know how to get out of the Good Guy doll. So, your father was the first he revealed himself to. Of course, Chucky had failed many times, but he doesn't know how to give in. He was desperate to leave the body of the doll."

"But, he's after me now. I'm not worth it to him." Judy said. "He can't have my body."

"No. He wants to kill you. He seeks revenge on everyone who got away from his hands." Ruby replied. "As long as-" The loud knocking was heard on the door. Judy held her scream by covering her mouth with both hands.

"Judy! Judy, you in there?" A voice asked from the other side of the door. Judy rush over to the door and there is Mike, Karen, and Kyle there. Judy almost cried in joy and she hugged them all as they kneel down. Ruby watched in silent. Mike came up to her. "You were looking after her?" He asked. Ruby nodded.

"You're Mike Norris. The man who shot Chucky years ago." She said. Mike blinked a couple times. "I never thought I would see you so soon, so...I suggest you three, especially Judy, must stay here for protection."

"No. We have to leave now." Mike said. "Look, I really appreciate that you are helping but-"

"I have to help. Judy will be safe by Damballa. His spirit will be with her. Trust me." Ruby said. "I have everything under control. Chucky won't touch her or you all." Suddenly, her mouth opened and her eyes are wide. Mike and the others watched in confusion. Judy looked behind Ruby and gasped in shock to see Chucky holding the voodoo doll using a pin to stab Ruby from behind. The killer doll smirked evilly.

"You are so much like your grandfather, Ruby." He spoke. Ruby started to get on her knees, grunting in pain. Chucky went around her to see her face. "I would say it's nice to meet you, but...you will be getting in my way. You help Judy, you die..." Before he could use his knife to stab the voodoo doll, Mike kicked him away and help Ruby up. Mike told Karen and Kyle to take Judy out of the building.

"No. You must go." Ruby said. "I'll hold him off. Just go and protect the girl." Mike was about to hesitate, but felt something sharp on his leg. He yelled in agony. They both hear Chucky's laugh. He came towards Mike, gripping on the knife.

"Hello, Mikey. You shot me 25 years ago, and now this time...you will pay for it. For good!" He says by having his knife down to Mike's chest, making him howl in pain. Ruby watched helplessly. Chucky pulled his knife away and Mike's blood is pouring out of his chest. His eyes are open, not blinking. Ruby can feel that he is gone...
