Goku's Hollow
Vegeta just got back from killing Cell. Everyone greeted him as he walked through the gates of the Seireitei. Everyone else had been healed by Squad 4 and Orihime who was called from the World of the Living.
"Nice work Vegeta."
"Did you expect anything less from the Prince of All Saiyans?"
Trunks ran up to his father.
"Good job Dad."
"You to son. I'm proud of you."
Out of no where Kibito Kai appeared.
"What's up Kibito Kai?"
"Hey Goku. I need to take you and Ichigo to my planet."
"What for?" Ichigo asked.
"To control your Hollow. I've been watching everything from above."
"That's creepy," Ichigo said.
"My planet will be safest for this task. I wish you could stay with your friends, but this is no waiting matter. If you wait too long, then your Hollow will take over."
"We should get the Visards to go with us," Ichigo suggested.
"Already done. Shinji Hirako is already on my planet. I need one more person to join us."
"What exactly do I have to do?" Vegeta asked.
"Are you sure? You just got done fighting Cell."
"Please, I need a real challenge," Vegeta groaned.
"You have to fight Goku. We need to secure his Hollow."
"If it involves fighting Kakarot, I'm in."
"Excellent," Kibito Kai said, "Then everything is settled. Hold onto each other's shoulders and I'll teleport you to my world."
Within a few seconds, they were standing on the Kai's home planet. Shinji was standing next to Old Kai.
"Long time no see."
"It's good to see you Goku," Old Kai said, "Have any more girls I can kiss?"
Goku put his hand over his neck, "Um... Not at the moment."
"You come to my planet, and don't even offer anything in return. Hmph."
"Sorry Old Kai."
"I guess you did save the planet. Next time I expect you to bring a girl over."
"Sure thing."
"Hey Ichigo. I'm sure this is bringing back some nostalgia," Shinji said.
"No kidding. I'm glad I don't have to go through this again," Ichigo replied, "Fighting your Hollow is a pain."
"Enough chit chat," Vegeta complained, "I want to fight Kakarot."
"Let's begin," Kibito kai said, "I'm sure Ichigo explained what your Hollow is."
"Yep."
"Your Hollow is a being of pure evil. It thrives on instinct. Shinji will put you to sleep and that's where you'll battle your Hollow.
Shinji walked over to Goku and placed two fingers on his forehead, making him fall asleep.
"Who wants to fight Goku first?" Kibito Kai asked.
"I will," Vegeta volunteered.
Shinji, Kibito Kai, Old Kai, and Ichigo stood back while Vegeta waited for Goku's Hollow to appear. Within a few seconds, intense spiritual pressure erupted around Goku. He got up and half his face was covered by the Hollow's mask. The Hollow laughed wickedly as he stood up in a fighting stance.
"I knew you were ugly before, but this is ridiculous," Vegeta said, "This isn't how I imagined fighting you, but I'll take what I can get."
The Hollow disappeared. Vegeta turned around, sensing the Hollow's presence. Right before the Hollow lunged, he blocked the blade with his forearm. The blade slowly cut into his skin. The amount of energy Kakarot had was incredible. He threw an energy blast into the Hollow's side, sending him flying into the ground.
Kakarot quickly got back up. The Hollow put his right hand out, releasing a red beam of energy. Catching the beam with his palms, Vegeta threw the Cero across the planet.
Kibito Kai shouted, "That's enough Vegeta. It's Ichigo's turn."
"Whatever you say. I'm done fighting Kakarot in this disgusting form."
He flew backwards and Ichigo entered the battle.
"Here we go again. I finally see what Shinji and the others had to go through. I never thought it would be this difficult."
Meanwhile, Goku appeared in his dream world. He was standing on King Kai's planet gripping his sword in his hands.
"This is weird, no one's around."
"Hello Kakarot."
"Who said that?"
"Me."
He turned around and saw the image of himself, except this being was pure white.
"Who are you?"
"I'm your Zanpakuto."
"I thought that was Zangetsu."
"I'm Zangetsu. You're so pathetic Goku. Your mercy makes you weak. You gave mercy to monsters who've killed countless people. When you gave mercy to Raditz, you got killed. When you gave mercy to Frieza, he came back and almost destroyed Earth. Your mercy will end up getting me killed and I won't allow that."
"You're wrong. Mercy is not weakness. If it wasn't for mercy, Piccolo and Vegeta wouldn't be my friends."
"You're too sentimental Kakarot. To defeat your enemy you have to be ruthless. Soon, you will have to fight an enemy the likes of which you have never faced before. If you show mercy to him, you will be destroyed. Let me take over, and we will live."
"No. I would never stoop so low to let someone else defeat my enemy."
"So be it. If you won't offer yourself up willingly, then I'll take you by force. Bankai, Tensa Zangetsu."
"Bankai, Tensa Zangetsu."
Ichigo watched as Goku's transformation took place. His right arm became engulfed in Hollow skin. Within a few seconds, Goku had completely transformed, and white skin covered his entire body. Claws replaced his hands, and a tail came out from his back. The Hollow yelled, and his screech pierced the air.
"Damn, I can't believe I looked like that. I guess the real battle begins."
The Hollow sprinted towards him, swinging his sword at Ichigo's side. He blocked the blade, but the Hollow's tail whipped through the air, striking his face. The blow sent him crashing into the ground. Ichigo got up from the fall as the Hollow held his hands back. The attack was like a Kamehameha, but red energy replaced it.
"That's some intense spirit energy."
He turned into a Super Saiyan as the blast rocketed through the air. He countered with his own Kamehameha. The two attacks collided, but the Hollow's attack overpowered his. Right before the Kamehameha's made contact, he used instant transmission, barely dodging the blasts.
"Time's up Ichigo," Kibito Kai yelled, "Shinji's up."
He used his instant transmission and appeared next to the others.
"He's sure a lot tougher than you," Shinji said, "I guess it's time to fight him myself. Hopefully Goku can finish this off soon. He seems to be taking a while."
"If I know Kakarot, he won't let that hideous thing take over," Vegeta said.
"Here goes nothing," Shinji said as he walked into the battlefield.
Goku was now fighting his Hollow in Bankai form.
His Hollow came rushing at him, thrusting his sword. He blocked the blade, and threw a roundhouse kick into the Hollow's ribs. The Hollow flew through the air and landed into the tree, causing it to split in half. His opponent quickly got up and ran at him. The Hollow was too fast and stabbed him in the stomach.
"Getsuga Tensho!" The Hollow yelled.
A beam of darkness erupted from the Hollow's blade, heading straight towards him.
"Getsuga Tensho!"
The two blasts of darkness collided,creating an explosion. The shockwave shattered the windows of King Kai's house.
"Good thing he's not really here. I could see the look on his face right now."
As the shockwave pushed him through the air, the scenery changed and he was now on Planet Namek. The planet was about to get destroyed and Frieza was standing in front of him.
"Just because you transformed into a Super Saiyan, that doesn't make you anything!" Frieza yelled, "I'm still going to defeat you."
Frieza held out his two index fingers, firing a barrage of energy beams. He blocked each one with his sword. Frieza flew from above, trying to smash his head with his foot. He blocked the attack with his sword, but the force was too strong, breaking his grip. Frieza threw a kick into his stomach, and he went sailing into a boulder. Piles of rubble pinned him to the ground.
"So, this is the great Super Saiyan? You're still nothing but a monkey."
Planet Namek disappeared, and this time he was fighting Cell. He looked around and saw that the Cell Games were going on.
"Kamehameha!"
Cell fired the powerful energy blast, and he countered with a Getsuga Tensho. The two energy blasts exploded. The smoke cleared, and Cell threw a fist into his stomach. Next, Cell had his hands together and slammed them into his skull, sending him rocketing into the arena. Cell hovered above the area, waiting for his next move.
"What's the matter Goku? I thought Saiyans were supposed to be stronger than this. I can't believe that you had to rely on your own son to defeat me. Truly pathetic."
Cell fired several energy blasts from his hands, each one slammed into his stomach, causing him to cough up blood.
"The Saiyans would be so disappointed in you Goku. Saiyans thrive on battle and lust for it. You're nothing but a cowardly human. You've lived among these rats for far too long. The only way to defeat your enemy is to act like a Saiyan. You gave up and instead you let your abomination of a son do the work for you."
"What's happening to me? Has mercy really been my weakness all along?"
The scenery changed again, and he appeared in his dream world. The Hollow charged him again and their blades collided. He parried the sword out of the way and stabbed the Hollow in his gut.
"I guess you have your Saiyan instinct after all. You'll have to for your next enemy. If you don't, you'll get killed."
The Hollow disappeared, and he woke up from the battle. All he could do was lie down. The battle made him too exhausted to get up.
"Nice work Goku," Shinji complimented, "If this is everything, then I think I'll be heading home now."
"Of course," Kibito Kai said, "Old Kai, would you look after things here?"
"Everyone always expects me to do everything."
"Ready Shinji?"
Shinji nodded. Kibito Kai walked over to him and teleported.
"We should return to the Soul Society," Ichigo mentioned, "We can have Orihime heal Goku."
Vegeta nodded, "Let's go."
They went over to Goku. Using instant transmission, Ichigo teleported them to the Soul Society.
