Ametria's POV
….
"Ametria you have to pick one colour, just one!" Rebekah told me as I looked over the colours that were laid on a small wooden stool in front of me; It was hard, this one colour that I pick will represent Elijah and my family line through generations; it can't be two feminine as Elijah has to wear said colour on our wedding day, but it can't be too manly either.
The colours that stood out to me were a light blue like the sky, and a blood red; one choice that's what she said.
I closed my eye and asked Rebekah to shuffle the colours so I could pick at random, my brain was telling me to go left, but my gut was telling me to go right.
And I always trust my gut instinct.
I opened my eyes to see that my hand was placed gently on the red fabric.
I smiled up and Rebekah who was smiling down at me "wonderful choice" Came, Esther's voice, who was standing in the doorway; a small smile gracing her pink lips. "How is the dress coming?" Esther asked Rebekah and I "the gown is almost finished Rebekah just has to finish the patch, and I have to cut the shah into a finer piece!" I Replied, as I lit a small candle, the scissors were in use by Rebekah, so I decided to try out a new spell that could cut any material into and shape you chose.
"Sectis" I said in Latin, moving my hands over the silk sash, I watches as the fabric turned from quite large to a thinner size. I smiled before walking over to my dress which was laid out on the Mikaelson family table; laying the sash on the middle of the dress, where it will be tied to my waist in 5 days.
In five days I will be marrying Elijah Mikaelson the love of my life, the man who I will love until I die; even during death I shall love him, he is my other half, my soul-mate.
…
After two more long hours, I decide that it is time for me to head home, I bid my good-byes to Rebekah and Esther then leave heading the longer way home, they way home that will lead me past my husband to be as he works on our hut that we are to live in when we are married.
It's customary; when two are joined in matrimony you are to leave your family homes and make one that you will live in with your to-be and your children when you bare them. Well that's the reason that your parents tell you; really it's so they don't hear you when you consummate your marriage.
As I walk my way home I walk past Tatia, the village whore, she grabs my wrist as I walk by "Ametria I wanted to talk to you!" She said in her annoyingly sweet voice, I have no idea what Niklaus see's in her.
"Yes?" I asked pulling my hand from her tight hold. "I cannot believe you and Elijah are to be married in 5 days, I never thought it would happen, I thought it would be me marring Elijah, not you" she said with venom lacing every word. I know what she is doing, she's trying to fill my head with uncertainties; and it's not working.
I smiled at the whore "why would you think that? Elijah is a high man of this village and you are nothing but a common whore who spreads her legs to every man who glances your way." I said venom lacing my words just as much as her.
She scoffs before picking up her daughter charlotte who was smiling at me; Tatia storms off.
I turn my back, just as she did, and walk in the direction I was going before Tatia stopped me; as I get closer I hear voices; Niklaus's, Elijah, and Kol's in particular.
As I get into their views, I wave and come up to them going straight up to Elijah who has his arms open for a hug; I wrap my arms around his waist and nuzzle my noise into his neck taking in his masculine scent.
"Hello, my to-be." Elijah said kissing my forehead gently. "Hi" I said looking up into his brown eyes. "How is our hut going?" I asked stepping out of his embrace to look at out hut which looked like most of the huts in the town; homey.
"Our hut is finished entirely, my love!" Elijah said, as he wrapped his muscular arms around my waist; his face in the crook of my neck. "Five more long, days until you are fully mine!" he whispered into my ear, his breath that's smelt of mint, grazing my earlobe, causing an strange feeling to form in between my legs.
I smiled closing my eyes relaxing even more into his embrace "five more days my love."
I said before turning my head to the left where his face is, placing a small kiss onto his lips…
A\N: This is the last chapter before the wedding that I've been excited to write for ages. (Insert excited scream)
