"Please don't, sir." The girl said in a panicked voice. "Please don't hurt me."
The man laughed in the girls face "oh darling, don't waste your pretty little voice." The man whose clothes were dirtier than the dirt itself grabbed the girl by her waist and pushed her up against the tree.

The girl screamed, loud and long hurting my poor sensitive ear drums; I waited though I couldn't help her just yet.

Klaus's words keep running over and over through my mind

"Well, well then; the doppelgänger has finally decided to show herself." He murmurs an evil smirk playing on his lips. He claps his hands. "When the time is right, my dear-" He said gesturing towards me "you will introduce yourself to the girl. I think I can muster up a compelled human to try and let's say hurt her, and you Ametria can be her vampire in shining armour." Klaus laughs.

.

"The Human, will attack soon. You must wait until he is close to taking her maidenhood, and that is when you will strike. Don't reveal your vampire abilities; use your hunting skills in this one. We don't want her finding out about our little secret, now do we." Klaus dwelled on and on about how I was to save her. When, how, and what to say, that is how he filled one hour of my time, explaining to me in expense detail on what I was to do, did he think me a fool I know how to save a human girl. I have done it before.

..

Screams broke through the air as Katerina Petrova fought for her non-existent innocence. I am no fool the way the girl holds herself says she has lain with a man before. I chuckle to myself, she holds herself the exact same way as her ancestor Tatia. I guess blood runs thick in this one.

I watch onwards as Katerina fails to push the man that is threatening to rape her, off of her. The man laughs again "you can try that, darling. But it will not work. When I see something I want I get it." He exclaimed a proud smirk playing on lips.

He continues to rip at her tightly fitted dress rubbing his thick hands across her large breasts.

My heart tightens slightly, I cannot watch this any longer this is just disgusting. I walk into sight and I watch as Katerina's eyes widen. I notch the arrow that is in my hand into the bow and aim for the man's left hand which is holding the girl up against the tree.

I shoot and it hits the spot, the man yelps in pain letting Katerina fall to the ground in a heap of sobs.

The man turns with an angry look plastered on his face "that wasn't very nice girly."

I laugh notching another arrow and aiming it at his right eye "well neither was that." I said before letting the arrow fly.

The man falls dead to the ground, the smell of more blood hits my nostrils and I remember I need to feed soon.

I kick the man away from the doe eyed girl "thank you, thank you oh so much how could I repay you." she said in a strained voice from all of her screaming.

I smile "there is no need. Are you all right?" I asked, even though I knew she was fine. "I'm fine"

I nodded before holding out my hand to help her up "now what is your name?"

"Katerina, Miss." She said while wiping away her tears "my name is Ametria. Now where do you live I shall accompany you home!" I said to her. She looks down ashamed "I don't have anywhere." I look at her confused "I don't have a home. My parents exiled me." She clarifies. I nodded my head.

"Well then, you can stay at my family's home until you're well rested and then I shall help find you a home." She snaps her head up probably thinking she misheard me.

"Oh no I couldn't-" I cut her off "no, no, its fine. My husband and my good-brothers and good-sister shall not mind. Our home has enough room for hundreds of people." I said, taking the girls hand.

"Thank you." she whispered.

"You're welcome. Now I hope you will not mind but I only have one horse."

the journey to the Mikaelson estate was short and uneventful. The only sounds coming from Katerina were the soft sounds of her heart beat and her steady breathing. The girl screamed innocence and I felt the twinge deep within my heart knowing I was bring this beautiful girl to her death.

..

As the horse pulled up to the estate I heard Katerina's heart beat accelerate and a small gasp escaped her mouth.

"Oh milady I could not stay here this palace is fit for kings and queens, not me a mere homeless girl." Katerina exclaimed. I shook my head a laugh escaping my mouth "nonsense. I couldn't leave you out on the street in these conditions."

..

I jumped of the horse expertly, and waited for Katerina as she stumbled out of the leather saddle she sat in.

"Now shall we, supper should be ready by now; I'm sure you're famished." I led Katerina into the palace acting as my home for the time being.

..

As we came upon the foyer of the house I was greeted by my smiling husband; His eyes slowly wondering over to Katerina who was standing behind me looking down at her feet.

"Elijah, this is Katerina I found her on the streets in the most inconvenient situations." I said to my handsome husband. "Katerina, dear, this is my husband Elijah." I introduced the pair "how do you do?" she curtsied low slightly tripping over her own feet. She blushed.

"I am well Katerina." Elijah responded.

"Now I'm sure I have a dress that will fit you; come with me!" I told the girl who eagerly followed me; as we ascend the staircase I am pulled to a warm muscled chest "what no kiss, my love?" Elijah asked a cocky smirk playing at his full lips that called my name.

I giggled before pecking his lips lightly, "later" I whispered in his ear.

As I walk away I hear a deep growl coming from Elijah's chest "yes, later." He muttered, before going off in the opposite direction to find Klaus and inform him that his doppelganger has arrived.

I opened the double mahogany doors to Elijah and my room, letting Katerina look around while I open the doors leading into an opposite room where Elijah and my clothes sit.

I looked through the thousands of dress's that I have collected over the past 492 years, my eyes spot a pink dress with green ribbon to tie up the drees from the front, it was beautiful, probably 20 years old. I was gifted this dress on my name day celebration 20 years ago. I remember because Elijah was acting more possessive than normal. Seems some of the men had an interest in my beauty and they tried and failed to pull me away from my beloved.

I take the dress off of the rack before walking towards Katerina who was standing awkwardly in the middle of the room.

"Here you go, my dear. I shall help you into it. The laces are a little hard to do up." I showed the girl the dress before taking her behind the screen that was used for when I needed to change, which I did not need considering Elijah has seen every ounce of my body.

"Now strip to your small clothes." I told her.

She stripped of her dirt ridden dress leaving her in her small clothes.

I handed her the dress which she stepped into pulling her arms through the sleeves. I pulled the opening at the top of her breasts closed as I tightened the laces.

"You did not have to help milady" she told me as I tightened the laces, not enough so she couldn't breathe, but enough so it wasn't falling from her shoulders.

"Nonsense I've had lots of practice."

"You dress yourself?" she sounds astounded I shake my head "no, I did this for my little sister when she was young." I feel tears spring to my eyes.

My beautiful, sweet Darling sister Valarie; images flash through my mind as I remember my sweet sister, her blue eyes, her brown onyx hair, her smile, her beautiful singing voice.

I do miss that bubble of sunshine "does your sister live here with you and your husband." She asked innocently. I shake my head "no, sh-she's dead." I tighten the strings of the dress once more before turning away from the pity that is in her eyes.

My dear sister Valarie no older than 18, was killed 10 years after I was turned into what I am now; hunters who thought me an abomination killed the only piece of my father I had left thinking it would draw me out.

They were not mistaken, but instead of just me they had to deal with the whole original family including Finn who was daggered only a year after that.

Klaus was enraged, he had a soft spot for my dear sister, and he grew feelings for her. Kol was saddened, and wanted blood, Rebekah felt like she was daggered as she thought of Valarie as a sister, Elijah was very much like myself; out of control, out for blood, angry, sad.

When I saw my sister lying in a pool of her own blood I went mad, I was hysterical.

Thinking back to the years after her death, I was so close to turning my emotions off the only thing keeping me sane was Elijah.

The men who killed my sister where killed, and tortured, I'm pretty sure we still have five of them in the dungeons. Klaus turned them; he says he likes watching them scream as he engulfs their bodies in sunlight, and as they starve. Well so do I. sometimes I just sit down there and toy with them.

..

I ended up brushing Katerina's hair; she said nothing after me telling her of my sister's fate. She only placed her hand on my shoulder in understanding which made my heart warm towards the girl. She truly was innocent.

KATERINA'S P.O.V

….

Her soft hands pushed the brush through my hair gently it felt nice, just like mother use to do when I was a small child.

The woman standing behind me reminded me of a mother figure she sure would make a wonderful mother, so caring and gentle.

When she told me of her sister's death I felt sorry for her, yes I've never lost a sibling but I knew it's not easy to lose a loved one.

"So how old are you, dear?" I heard Ametria ask "I'm seventeen, miss." I responded quietly. "Do you have any questions Katerina?" she asked me.

I thought on that question. "How long have you and Elijah being married." I asked the most innocent question I could think of. I saw her smile in the looking glass on the vanity.

"We've been married for four years, but it feels like four hundred years. Not because it's being so long, just because I love him and time fly's by when I'm with him. It's like I'm a little girl and he's my prince."

And the next hour was filled with Ametria's voice as she told me of the last four years of her life with Elijah.

The beautiful woman who saved my life, so innocent looking yet so fierce, so loving when she talks of her family of Elijah of the life she has, of the adventures he has shown her, of the beautiful life he has gifted her.

As she talks the only thing that I hope to achieve for in life is what she has, the love that she has. I can tell that Elijah loves her even from the small minute encounter on the staircase their eyes are filled with a spark that is so beautiful;young love has such beauty.

I feel the brush that was running through my hair pull out and watch as she places the brush on the vanity.

"Now, I'm sure you're hungry, and Supper is sure to be ready." Ametria said before helping me out of the wooden chair.

"You look beautiful" she said looking me up in down.

"Thank you"
