Chapter 14- Run Away Love

I took Katerina's hand in mine and lead her down the stairs towards the dining room where I could hear the exciting conversation that was happening between my husband and brother-in- Law. They were currently discussing the matter of the doppelganger that stood next to me.
As we came closer to the doors of the dining room, their conversation stopped about Katerina and they changed their topics too other matter such as the weather.
Opening the doors, I watched as Nik eyed Katerina up and down- his eyes full of anger and deceit. He was looking at an exact replica of Tatia, I understood why he felt those emotions, she did crush his heart after all.
He stood up from his chair and came over to kiss my cheek and Katerina's hand in greeting. I heard her heartbeat accelerate. I guess she's never had a lord kiss her hand.
I walked towards my husband, a smile lighting up his face- "my, my you look ravishing" he whispered into my ear when he pulled me into a tight embrace.
"As do you, my love." I kissed his pink lips. The kiss was as passionate as every kiss that the two of us have shared in our four hundred years.

Dinner was served and we enjoyed a five course meal of, beef, chicken, pea and potato soup, and a lovely piece of cake. While Katerina drank a glass of red wine, Elijah, Klaus, and I sipped on blood to ease our hunger.

Once dinner was over I lead Katerina to a guest room where a night dress was awaiting her. I listened as she hummed softly to herself as she got dressed and ready to get to bed.

Unknown P.O.V

They thought they were safe; safe from my wrath. Oh but they were mistaken. I will kill him, I will kill them all. I will kill Elijah, Finn, Kol, even my sweet Rebekah. I will even kill that Hybrid witch Ametria.
They are abominations and they deserve to die.

"You cannot catch me." I chanted, as I ran swiftly through the woods. I jumped over trees, jumped over a cliff brake, and I ran as fast as my vampire speed could take me. I heard Elijah close behind me, his soft laugh greeting my ears when we reached the lake.
"Nowhere to go now, my love." Elijah came closer and closer to me until we were chest to chest, nose to nose, lips to lips.
I tugged at his lips with my teeth and felt him harden. I smiled against Elijah's lips before pulling away. I ripped open my dress not giving a single glance to the piece of silk.
I walked into the water keeping my eyes on Elijah- he quickly hurried to take of his clothing. He ran after me and pulled me to his chest in the water.
I wrap my legs around his waist loving the way his hard member rubs against my core. My lips travel their way down Elijah's neck, and my legs grind into his groin.
Elijah moans, and groans- his rough calloused hands grabbing at my ass, I suck and nip at the tender bit of skin on his neck loving the way his grinds meet mine.
"You are mine" I hear Elijah murmur, I nod my head "I'm yours as you are mine."
I feel Elijah's hard member at my entrance and I push myself down on him. Our love making becomes more primal and my vampire teethe elongate I bite into Elijah's neck and he bites into mine and together we share our blood.
Not long after, we reach our heights and I scream out in pleasure as he thrust one more time.

After our lake loving, we make our way back to our home where Klaus is flirting with Katerina. Katerina seems to be enjoying the attention- if only she knew. She would soon be the main person to help Nik break his curse.

The town was quiet as I walked around; people were asleep in their beds- safe from tonight's events. "Mikael, I know you're here. Come out come out wherever you are." I said in a sing song voice.
I heard a deep chuckle as Mikael came out from the shadows, he looked the same, his hair still the same length; his eyes still the same colour, his voice still deep.
"Why are you here?" I asked him. We walked around each other as if we were lions targeting prey.
"I'm here to offer you a deal." He said, a smirk playing at his lips.
"What deal is that?" I ask. A feeling of unease comes over me, whatever he's about to suggest I know I'm going to have to say yes.
"Leave and I won't kill your precious Elijah, or Rebekah." I close my eyes taking in a deep breath "and if I say no?"
"You all die."

He left me no choice- I will not let my husband or Rebekah die at the hands of Mikael. I hurried home packing my belongings before I quickly wrote my good-byes.
Dear Elijah
I am so sorry, my love. But it is what is best. Mikael is coming and if you don't escape before nightfall he will kill Klaus.
You're probably thinking why I have to leave? Well my love if I don't go now, you nor Rebekah will cease to exist, and I can't let him kill you.
DO NOT come after me Elijah, don't try. Please just forget about me.

When I mounted the horse I kicked it in the side and we bolted off into the moonlight. Tears streamed down my face and I watched the retreating figure of my home.
I was leaving, but it was for the best- I was protecting the people I love. They were family, and family means everything, I guess that's why I'm running. Because I would do anything to keep them safe even if I had to become Elijah's
Run Away Love.
