"Bella..." My heart sunk, she was gonna say no. I could tell from the tone of her voice. "I will give you whatever you want. But I want you to think about this for a few days, because you were so back and forth on it a moment ago. Give it four days and if you really want it...then we'll talk about the details." Alice said seriously and my heart fluttered.

"Okay." Was my lame response.

"I want you to have a full explanation for why this is a good idea." She added, smiling at me. I smiled back and curled into her, breathing in the scent of her really exspensive perfume. I closed my eyes, thinking about how to explain to her that I wanted to spend eternity with her.

I wasn't ready for school to start so soon, but I was kind of excited to see my friends again. The process of explaining Alice to everyone was going to take a while, but I was ready for everyone to know. And later that night, I was going to tell Alice all about why I wanted to spend eternity with her. I was going to take her dinner and then I was basically going to propose to her, in a sense. I got dressed quickly, even though I'd spent a good amount of time planning my outfit the night before. I pulled my hair back in a ponytail, which I really never did before, but today was special. I walked back in the room to find Alice sitting on the bed, waiting patiently for me. "Wow, Bella. You really put in a lot of effort. Is there something going on that I should know about?" She asked, standing up so we could leave.

"Nope, just felt like doing something different." I said avoiding eye contact as we walked downstairs. "We're leaving for school dad, love you." I called out, opening the front door.

"Bye girls." He called back and we walked out, closing the door behind us. I started walking towards my truck and Alice started walking towards her porsche.

"Are we taking seperate cars?" I asked stopping in my tracks. We'd taken the same car everywhere the whole vacation, alternating between mine and hers. I had to make that rule, because she would have taken her car everywhere, not being a fan of my old truck.

"I wasn't sure if you wanted to. I know you are going to have to tell your friends about us today. I thought it might make it easier if we didn't make them suspicious, before we walked through the doors." She said walking back over to me.

"I don't care. I want to ride in the same car with you." I took her hand and laced her fingers through mine.

APOV

It was weird going to class, not knowing how Bella was doing, not having my family in every other class. I got a lot of questions about why I was back and where I went. I even had some people I didn't know ask me where my family was. The questions about Jasper were the worst. I explained fifty times over that we broke up. By the end of the day, I was so stressed out and grumpy that I'm amazed I didn't just rip someone's head off. I was storming out to Bella's truck when someone tapped on my shoulder. "What?" I snapped whirling around. I froze in shock when I saw who it was.

"Alice, can we talk for a minute?" I nodded slowly, this was just the icing on the cake. I followed Edward to a part of the campus where no one was watching or listening.

"What did you want to talk about?" I asked curiously, leaning against the wall behind me. Edward mirrored my actions before he started talking.

"I know that I treated Bella like crap. And I know that I've lost her forever. I'm not here to argue. I just wanted to tell you that I'm sorry that I was so mean to you and to give you my blessing." He said quietly and all of my anger melted away.

"Thank you. I just want you to know that I won't ever let anything happen to her. And...I forgive you." For the first time in a very long time, I hugged my brother. I missed my family more than I realized. I kind of wished that they'd come back, but I knew it wasn't going to happen.

"Will you tell Bella I'm sorry and I hope that she finds happiness with you." He added as we pulled away from each other.

"Why don't you tell her, she's supposed to meet me in the parking lot here in a minute." He nodded and we walked back out to Bella's truck. She was standing next to it, scanning the students coming out of the school.

"Bella." I said as soon as we were close enough. She turned, a big smile on her face, which immediately disappeared when she saw who I was with.

"Edward." I couldn't read her expression and I hoped she wasn't mad at me, but this needed to be done. They needed closure.

"Bella. I just needed to tell you something and then I'm going back to Alaska. I promise I'm not trying to interfere." He said holding his hands up in surrender.

"Okay." Bella seemed to relax a bit.

"I just wanted to tell you that I'm sorry for the way I treated you and I hope that you and Alice are happy together. You deserve someone who can make you happy." Bella looked shocked, but it slowly turned into a smile.

"Thank you Edward. I hope that you can find someone who makes you happy too." She said and pulled him in for a hug. I couldn't help but smile, I felt like a weight had been lifted off my chest.

"I'll see you guys later." Edward said and then he was gone.

"So, how did your day go?" I asked Bella as we climbed into her truck.

"Not too bad. They were shocked to say the least, but they seemed to accept it in the end. Now, we have plans tonight." She said smirking and starting the truck.

"We do?" I never seemed to see her plans coming. I'd have to figure that one out later.

"Yep." She drove us to what felt like the middle of no where and parked the truck on the side of the road. I was surprised to see Rosalie's car there. We got out and she led me down to a clearing by the river. Rosalie was standing next to a picnic blanket with a huge smile on her face. "Thanks Rose." Bella said and Rose winked at her before heading back to her car. There was a cooler sitting on one corner of the blanket and I was suddenly curious about what was inside.

"Bella, what is this?" I asked, my heart melting in my chest as I spoke.

"This is dinner. I had Rose set it up for me, so you wouldn't suspect anything." She said, taking my hand and leading me to the blanket where we sat cross legged facing each other.

"Wow, you're really sneaky." I said laughing a little. She opened the cooler and pulled out a container full of red liquid. Had she really thought this through that much, this must be a special night in some way or another. Then she pulled out a bottle of wine and three wine glasses. She pulled out a take out box too, I'm guessing that was her dinner. I was even more surprised when she poured my blood into a wine glass for me, not even flinching at what she was doing. She handed me the glass and I took it, smiling my thanks. She filled her own glass with wine and opened her take out box, revealing a cesear salad.

"Okay, I want to tell you something." She said looking up at me and finally breaking the silence. I could tell she was nervous by the way she tucked her hair behind her ear and fiddled with her fork before talking. "I want to be a vampire and this is why; I've never met someone like you before and I've never been so happy in my life. I want nothing more than to spent the rest of eternity finding out all the things about you that I don't know. I want to travel the world with you and settle down in a house in France for a few years, or maybe Italy. I want to spend months in bed with you, only get up to hunt. I want to tell you all of my fears and dreams and maybe even a few fantasies. Alice, I want you to turn me so I can be your forever." She finished and if I could cry, I would be, because that was the most beautiful thing I've ever heard.

"Bella." I could hardly even whisper her name, I was so touched. "I will turn you, because I couldn't imagine spending eternity with anyone else." My voice was trying to give out on me, so it was quiet, but she heard me and she smiled.

"Then I want to make a toast." She said holding up her glass and I did the same. "To forever with the woman I love." The glasses clinked as they touched and we both took a drink. We spent the rest of the evening eating and drinking and making plans for the future. I could hear Rose in her car up on the road commenting on how she missed when things were like that between her and Emmett. The sun started to set and I knew we had to go back to the house, seeing as how Bella didn't have any candles. But before the night ended, I wanted nothing more than to kiss her. I pulled her onto my lap so she was straddling me and leaned back against the tree behind me. I placed a hand behind her head and kissed her softly, stealing the warmth from her lips to warm mine. Her tongue runs across the seam of my lips, seeking entrance. I part my lips, letting her in, my tongue battling hers as she grinds against me. I'm going to have to do something about that tension when we get the chance, but now is not the time, not with Rose listening. I pull back and she groans in frustration.

"Not here." I whisper in her ear and then kiss the tender spot below it. She moans and her head falls back, giving me better access. But we really need to stop and it's all I can do to lift her off of me and then stand up, pulling her to her feet. We gathered the stuff from our picnic and hiked back to the truck.

We spent the next few weeks making plans to change Bella. We were going to go away for spring break and do it then. Spend a week letting her adjust and then come home to Charlie and Sue. We'd be back just in time for the wedding, and Bella was so excited that she could hardly contain herself. We kept a secret hidden notebook in the room where we wrote down all of our plans. And too my surprise, time went by fast. I was already buying the plane tickets and Bella was packing our bags. It was going to be an interesting vacation to say the least.

We were sitting outside the gate, waiting to board. We'd been in the airport for a while now and I could tell Bella was bored. She kept looking at her phone and then she would put it down and read her book for a while. She kept switching back and forth and I wonder if she was nervous. I knew she would be fine, I'd already seen it. In fact she would be better than fine, she was going to be amazing. She finally stands up, setting her book down on her backpack. "I'm going to go get some snacks and a drink. I'll be right back." She says walking swiftly towards the nearest store.

I just shake my head and turn my attention back to the magazine I'm reading. I'm a little nervous, even though I know what's going to happen. I worry about being able to stop and Charlie not noticing what's going on. We still hadn't figured out how we were going to work family dinners. We couldn't just avoid dinner time all the time, Charlie would get suspicious of something weird going on. He might not jump to the conclusion that we were vampires, but he might think that we were doing drugs or trying to lose weight the wrong way. I'm starting to think that we're just going to have to eat dinner every night, or almost every night, so that he doesn't think something is up. My other worry is that Bella won't be able to handle going back to school. If she starts to flunk out, then Charlie will send me home for sure, leaving Bella alone to figure herself out. And then there are the days we'd have to skip school because of the sunshine, would Charlie get mad about that? Could we come up with an excuse good enough to make him be okay with it?

Bella comes back with a bag of twizzlers and a bottle of water and sits down next to me. "We still aren't boarding?" She asks frustrated.

"I don't know why you are in such a hurry. You're basically going to be spending the next few days in pain...are you sure that this is what you want?" I ask, not sure myself now.

"I'm sure. No pain, no gain." She tells me and opens her bag of twizzlers. "Plus I can't wait to see what Alaska is like, and see Emmett, Rose, Carlisle, and Esme again. I miss your family." She tells me, taking a bite of her candy.

"They're your family too." I remind her. "And they miss you just as much as you miss them." She smiles and picks her phone up again. I turn my attention back to my magazine and try to relax a little. I'm halfway through the magazine when they call boarding for our flight. Bella looks at me excitedly and grabs her things, I do the same and we walk up to hand our tickets over. They scan them and we start the walk down the ramp to the plane. I'm pretty sure that if there wasn't a line of people in front of us, Bella would have run to the plane. Once inside, we stow our bags and sit in our sits, waiting for the other passengers to get settled. Bella is fidgeting now and it's starting to drive me a little crazy. I reach over and take one of her hands, lacing my fingers through hers and giving it a gentle squeeze. She relaxes a little after that and I lean my head back on my seat, closing my eyes in thought while we wait. I eventually feel Bella rest her head on my shoulder. And then next thing I know, we're preparing for take off. I sit up to listen to the saftey instructions and realize that Bella is sleeping soundly. I smile, because I knew that all that fidgeting and pacing would catch up with her eventually.

The flight is quiet and kind of boring, since Bella stayed asleep through take off. So I just keep picturing her with sparkling skin, amber eyes, and more grace than Bella's ever had in her entire life. I wonder for a moment if she will still seem like the same Bella afterwards. I shake the thought off, because nothing could change who Bella was. Edward had tried and failed, I wasn't going to make the same mistake. I planned to give her anything her heart desired for the rest of eternity. "I fell asleep? We already took off?" Bella asks, sitting up and rubbing her eyes.

"Yeah, just moments after you passed out. We should be there soon, maybe thirty minutes." I inform her and she rests her head on my shoulder again.

"It's too bad we'll have to go back to Forks after this. I think I'd love to stay in Alaska with your family." She comments sleepily. It's the early hours of the morning and she's used to being asleep at this point, I'm surprised that she woke up at all.

"You would miss Charlie if we didn't go back. Not to mention, he knows where we're going, he'd just call it in as a kidnapping and the cops would come for you." I joke, kissing the top of her head. I hear her heartbeat slow and even out, signaling to me that she fell back asleep. I smile and pull the window shade up so I can see the stars outside the plane. I can see just the slightest hint of purple in the sky as the sun starts to rise. I watch it for a long time, until the skies turn to gray and I can see the white snow on the ground below us. The pilot announces that we will be landing shortly so I lean over to whisper in Bella's ear. "Wake up, Bells."

"Hmmm." She grumbles and nuzzles into my arm.

"Bella, we're landing." I whisper again and her eyes flutter open.

"Already? I just fell asleep." She whines and looks out the window. The plane is circling closer to the ground and the white outside is bright. "Is that snow?" She asks surprised.

"Yep and it's everywhere, you did stick your Jacket in your backpack like a I told you to, right?" She nods and the plane tilts forward as we start to land. This is my favorite part of flying, because it's like being on a rollercoaster. Everyone once in a while, the plane will drop just a bit, making my stomach jump into my throat. Bella looks nervous, but handles it just fine. When the wheels hit the runway, Bella is bouncing in her seat excitedly and I still can't see why she's in such a hurry to do something so painful. We finally get off of the plane and walk up the ramp to the airport. Once inside we hurry out past the security lines, to the area where my family is waiting.

"Bella!" Emmett is the first to hug her, lifting her off of her feet like usual. Then Esme, Carlisle, and finally Rose. They know why we're here and Rose is giving me that look, like I'm throwing Bella's life away. I ignore her and take Bella's hand as we walk down to baggage claim. We didn't pack too much, since my wardrobe here has more clothes in it than I took to Forks. I told Bella I'd share while we were here. But she insisted on bringing her shoes and socks, and even some pajamas. Once we have our luggage, we follow Charlie out to where the cars are parked. They brought two so that we could all fit on the way to the house. One is Emmett's jeep and the other is a truck that we leave in Alaska just because of the weather here. Carlisle stops and turns to face everyone.

"Bella and Alice, you guys are taking the truck. The rest of us will ride back in the jeep." He says and I do a fist pump, because while I love my porsche this truck comes in second.

"Aww, I wanted to drive the truck back." Emmett complains and Rose elbows him. "Ow. Was that necessary?" He asks as he tosses me the keys and climbs into the jeep with everyone else. I take Bella's hand and lead her to the truck. We put our luggage in the backseat and climb in.

"I don't think I've ever seen so much snow in my whole life." Bella comments as I back out and head towards the house, the jeep is long gone. I take my time though, because I'm dreading seeing Bella in pain, not to mention that its safer this way.

"Get used to it, this is how you're spending your spring break. Quite the opposite of the usual beach trip that most teenagers take." I say, turning on the heater so that Bella doesn't freeze.

"I'll take this over the beach any day if it means I get to spend forever with you." She says sweetly, tucking her hair behind her ear. We pull up oustide of the house not too long after and Bella gasps. I smile and put the truck in park. She hurries out of the truck and grabs her luggage from the back, which Emmett appears and immediately takes from her and then comes around to get mine. I let her inside ahead of me and she looks around for a minute and then turns around to face me. "Where is our room?" She aks excitedly.

"It's this way, although after a few days, you won't need one anymore." I remind her as I lead her further into the cozy cabin and up a flight of stairs to a door, which I push open. She giggles excitedly and runs and jumps on the bed, I roll my eyes and join her. Enjoying her like this for as long as I can.

AN: So the next chapter should be fun, but I'm sad to say that this story is coming to an end soon :( Hope you guys are enjoying the ride!
