A/N : It has been a long time. Really realllyyy long time since my last update. Before I aim to get 1 chapter each 1 day, but it seems impossible for now. I will update as my mood goes with. However, despite the long delay, I still have my promise to give special chapter.

This chapter is based on my real story. Although it seems quite cheesy and corny, I think this fits the characters I'll use.

Chapter 70

Game

There was a time when Taichi felt attached with computer when it came to games. It was morely like an accident, though, when Taichi was invited to Koushiro's house for some graphic design project. For the red-head, it was just a piece of cake despite Taichi's grumble and frustration. He merely finished it in about 1 hour, so they had some time left until evening to fool around.

"Taichi-san," Koushiro called.

"What is it?" although he felt quite stress of how easy Koushiro could do his assignment and how fool he was, he still replied.

"Over here for a second please. I want to show you something," the computer-maniac, or-so Taichi had referred as- said.

With a heavy sigh, Taichi crawled over him. Koushiro was operating computer, with some moving character inside.

Even Taichi felt familiar with the game Koushiro played when he first saw it.

"Doesn't this familiar for you, Taichi-san?" as far as Taichi knew, Koushiro was a genius, but not until he could know his mind.

Well, it didn't bother him though. His attention was clearly at the monitor.

"Perhaps," the brunette replied simply. He watched Koushiro moving the mouse, making a click.

"This game is adapted from lifeforms which are hatched by eggs. It is similar with Digimon," Koushiro explained.

"While we try to grow them up by raising their level up, we grow up too. Then, we can hatch many eggs to start for any lifeform which we like whether its techniques, shapes, skills, etc," he continued, giving some click on the game.

"I hate to admit it, but for once I understand your explanation," Taichi said, eyes still on the monitor.

"Sometimes I wonder so," Koushiro snickered. He didn't expect for once his ramble would hit Taichi. Ever.

"So, can I copy this game? I want to play it too," the former leader asked, handing him the USB he had.

"Sure, but if you play, remember to make character in one server same with me so we can play together," Koushiro replied. He knew Taichi felt excited. He too felt excited, for some reason having a friend to play together. It was quite dumb to ask for people around him to play with him, but with Taichi it seemed like he didn't need to ask.

Perhaps…

Taichi rushed home, opening the door quite hardly and dashing to his father's room.

"I need to ask Dad to borrow his computer for a long time…" he mumbled. "Oh well," he attached the USB, and quickly copied the program.

After learning some from Koushiro, Taichi knew he had to make account first. He connected to internet and proceeded to make an account for him. Username was easy, he would use his name. But for password, he wondered for awhile.

"Anything," he typed first thing he had in his head.

And that was Agumon.

Quite easy to be expected.

Afterward, he made a character with same server with Koushiro.

Then, the game began.

At first, it showed the story of the game, of how the lifeforms began to live, and how human met with them. Then, it ended with a screen showing him to pick a main character.

"All are same though," Taichi clicked randomly. As long as the character was boy of course, he would go. It was bugging him having seeing people with male gender using female gender in the game.

Then, the game began. His character was in the town, and some tutorial appeared. He was showed how to open inventory, character's information, and so on. Learning quickly thanks to Koushiro's explanation back then, he opened the warehouse. Koushiro told him that every new player would get an egg for free, a strong one.

He was surprised to see the egg. It was yellow, with a 4 number written on it. He read the explanation carefully ; "Scannable Egg". He quickly went to the egg's scanner, and scan it.

Because he was still new, he didn't know what egg he had. He called Koushiro from phone.

"Koushiro, are you on?" he asked.

"Of course. Have you made a character?" the red head replied

"Yeah. I'm now currenty in…. uhm… main town I guess. Near the egg's scanner,"

"Please wait. I'm on my way,"

"Okay"

After waiting for awhile, he met with Koushiro's character. In Taichi's view, Koushiro was still new as well as he was, clearly from equipment he had was still starter.

As he showed him the egg, Koushiro typed something.

"That is a quite strong type fighter," Koushiro's character said.

"Really? How to hatch it?" Taichi typed back.

"You need some data to hatch it. Wait a minute. Here it is," Koushiro typed in once and gave him datas he needed.

"Thanks bro. I'll hatch this,"

"Goodluck. I'll be off,"

Taichi was rather unsure what the lifeform he would get and how strong it was. Therefore, Koushiro had told him that his partner later would be a strong one so he didn't need to worry.

After hatching, his partner appeared beside him. It was dragon-shaped. The else he couldn't describe it, since that he was really sucks at describing. However, he was curious of how its evolving form was. Koushiro had also told him this game had evolution system up to Ultimate ( as they preferred it with Digimon ).

So, his journey began …

It wasn't really a surprise for Taichi if Koushirou was really addicted with games. Especially this game.

After knowing this game, whenever Yamato and Sora planned to go out, he didn't want to bother them. He knew they would be better only two than having him over with them. So, he spent most of his time with the game, having successfully raising his partner up to highest evolution level.

He was proud of himself, obviously. He went back to town, showing his partner to everyone, to other players around him.

And, what Koushiro said was actually right. Because his partner was a strong one, it would attract people to see it closer. Some people gathered around him, saying 'hi' and trying to get his attention. At first, Taichi was happy he could make friends from the game. But, it went really bad because every people he met only wanted him to give them some money because in their view Taichi's parter was strong one which meant he had lot of money.

He was sick with that, so he replied :

"I get my partner from GM, from event or whatever it is. Stop looking for money from me, because I'm just a newbie. I play by myself, searching money by myself, and making money by myself. You can't just expect other players to give you money for free after lot of efforts they have spent for that,"

Even so, he still met some people like that. He was rather used for them eventually. He always told them not to give up, always trying their best and so. And, most people thanked him for giving them advice. Although he was newbie as well as them, he was a leader back then, in rather different ways than this game. The game that consisted 8 children to save the world, and he was the leader. Saying wise things wasn't really hard for him.

After playing for about 1 month, he met with someone. Its nickname was Izuto. What he knew from people, Izuto was one from few players which were the strongest ones in the game. He was glad to make friend with him. Eventually, they often went out together, sharing experience ( in which Taichi listened more ) and battling bosses together.

Then, came a time when Taichi told him his story.

"I don't like people when they start to be like jerks," Taichi started. They were having some time to relax after farming.

"Haha, go easy with them. I know what you mean," Izuto replied.

"I wonder, how will they know the excitement in playing this game if they just hope people give them what they want?" Taichi typed again.

"People needs to grow up," Izuto replied. "They are fond like that because they are just too lazy to do what they should do. They tend to be a beggar because they still don't know how to earn money in this game," he added.

"Yeah. Sometimes I think someone has to make a guide for this game," Taichi said.

"Clever. It is something which this game needs," looking at Izuto's reply, Taichi grinned. He typed again.

"Thanks. By the way, I don't even know your name, mate," Izuto seemed to stay silent.

"Well, my name is Yagami Taichi. Who are you?" it was his first time he introduced himself in quite not harsh way.

"Pleased to meet you, Yagami Taichi," Izuto started

"But I think you have known me so I need not to make acquaintance of myself," Izuto added.

Taichi just watched. He knew in that way he would eventually give up.

"Alright, but don't be surprised,"

"My name, Izuto, comes from my name and my partner,"

"It is,… Izumi and Tento,"

After seeing that, Taichi froze.

"K-koushiro?"

Taichi was going to turn that red-head into soccer ball the next time they met

Hahah lol , this doesn't turn out to be as much as I want to write, but then again, it was fun really typing this. I spent only about10-20 minutes because I really enjoy this xD also, I think all readers know what game I mentioned here xD
