Note: Yo, Just a heads up but this arc will be dark... I usually add humor to the Fairy Tail arcs that I place Naruto in this story, and to Arcs I make... but this arc will be dark and serious, so yeah just a heads up! Some may like it, some may not, and some might think its not dark at all but yeah.

Chapter 30: Vendetta.

It was just another day for Naruto Uzumaki, sleep late and wake up late. The blonde had woken up at noon, stayed in bed for five minutes before deciding to get up and eat whatever was in the fridge, as the blonde walked over to the kitchen he couldn't help but feel like if he was being watched, no! He knew he was being watched, but he acted like normal. Naruto opened up the fridge and looked for something good to eat, after a few minutes of searching he actually found a half eaten bowl of ramen, closing the fridge he turned around to see two men with masks in front of him.

"Danzo-sama requests your presence!" One of the men in the mask spoke.

"Eh? That old man wants to see me even after he tried to kill me?!" Naruto cocked his right eyebrow.

"Yes! Danzo-sama, ordered us to bring you by force if we have to!" The second masked man spoke.

"Oh? He said that, now did he?!" Naruto said as he picked on his left ear with his pinky.

"You were once a member of Root, one of Danzo's best members, if you're still alive after leaving, it means you are strong... we rather not fight you, so we ask you nicely, can you please come with us?!" The first mask man spoke.

"Eh, sure! Why not?!" Naruto shrugged his shoulder's as he started walking out of his home.

"Errr, um, sir, you are still in your sleeping clothes..."

It was true, the blonde was wearing a white tank top, and boxers with swirls all over the place.

"Oi, do you want me to go or not?!"

They stayed silent and they walked behind him, they were honestly suprised that he would willingly go with them, they were ready to fight, whether they would of won or not, they did not know, but they were really grateful that there was no casualties...yet!

Unknown Location

Danzo Shimura was a fragile old man, he had black shaggy hair, a bandage around his right eye, he also had an X shaped scar on his chin, not just that but with his left hand he was using a cane to support him. He wore a black robe that reached all the way to his ankles. The old man smirked as he waited for Naruto to appear before him.

"I... can't wait..." A masked boy next to Danzo spoke, "My blood is boiling..."

"Calm down, why don't you go and take care of them?!" Danzo suggested as he smirked.

"I will!" The masked boy said before he vanished.

Danzo was the leader of Root, a secret organization within the Magic Council, not that many people knew they existed. Root was created for one thing and one thing only: for the sole purpose of doing secret quests, quests from killing innocent people, to the eradication of Dark Guilds, long ago Root had a valuable member known as "Kitsune" and Kitsune well was Naruto Uzumaki. Until he decided to leave... but the thing was... that once you joined you couldn't leave... unless you wanted to die, those who wanted to leave could not or else they would die.

So how did Naruto manage to survive?

"Kitsune... or should I say Naruto Namikaze... Uzumaki?!" Danzo said as Naruto appeared before him, "Long time no see... how long has it been? 3 years?!"

"Dango, get to the point, your face gives me the creeps!" Naruto blunty said.

"Very well! Danzo nodded, "Kitsune, I want you to join our ranks again!"

"In your sick twisted dreams, old man!" Naruto snapped at him.

"You probably know this already... but four guilds have formed an alliance to stop the Dark Guild known as Oracion Seis, after all... you should know who they are... you were a member once after all, and as you predicted, they are making their move, they are after Nirvana... however, we can't let them get their hands on it... I want you to go and get the Nirvana... Join me once again Naruto!"

"You have some balls, I'll give you that.. but if think I'll join you after you did that, then you must be fucking dreaming!"

"Kuku, blaming me for that? It was your fault that fool died!"

Naruto just ignored him and started walking away, only to hear Danzo talk.

"I suggest you join us... because I am the only one who is stopping that boy... that boy thirsts for blood... and he won't be satisfied until he has it!"

"Yeah? Whatever!" Naruto said before he walked out.

Naruto was laying around at home, he was actually in deep thought, it had been six hours since he met up with Danzo, and it was starting to get dark, the blonde couldn't help but feel uneasy, Danzo has always been one sneaky bastard. The blonde was in such deep thought he didn't hear the knocking on his door, until at last he heard the knocks, so he walked over to the door and opened it.

"Na..ru...to!" Naruto's eyes widened when Kakashi, the man who had knocked on his door, fell to the floor in front of him, he was about to crouch down when he saw a blade incoming, and it was headed for Kakashi's heart.

The blonde quickly re-equipped his trusty wooden Katana, and he swung it at the incoming blade, one he hit it, it flew off towards another direction.

He quickly crouched down and picked up Kakashi by wrapping his right hand around the older mans body, and as he did so a bunch of explosive Lacrima were thrown at his home, the blonde quickly jumped out of the way and started running away, he didn't bother to look back when he heard explosions behind him.

"Shit! Kakashi, what the fuck is going on?!" Naruto asked Kakashi as he ran towards Magnolia Hospital.

"Naruto... a Root... member... in a Black Cat mask... appeared at your parents house... he took them on..." Kakashi had tears rolling down his one visible eye, "I failed them..."

"W-What are you saying?! Are mom and dad dead?!" Naruto asked or more like yelled at Kakashi.

"I don't know! They told me to run and to look for you!" Kakashi admitted as more tears left his one visible eye, "I'm sorry Naruto... I really am.."

Naruto just stayed silent as he kept running towards Magnolia Hospital, Kakashi was badly hurt because Naruto could see the blood coming out of his chest, the blonde didn't sense anyone following him as he run with Kakashi.

At last the blonde arrived at the hospital and he ran towards a woman behind a counter.

"THIS MAN IS HURT BADLY, HELP HIM!" Naruto ordered her as he pointed at Kakashi, before he ran out of the hospital.

The blonde was running fast as he sniffed the air, he was looking for the person who attacked Kakashi and his parents, the blonde jumped on a roof top, and then he jumped from roof top to roof top as he looked for the person.

He continued to run until a blade popped out of nowhere and it pierced his foot, the blonde's eyes widened when he saw a paper bomb on the blade, he quickly pulled the blade out of his foot, as he growled in pain, and he threw it as far as he could away from him as possible, as he did so the paper bomb went on and it exploded, causing the blonde to fly back as pieces from the broken blade pierced his right thigh, his shoulder and his stomach.

"Looking for someone?!" All of a sudden the person in the Black Mask was in front of Naruto.

"Oi, who are you?!" Naruto just asked the person.

"Aww, you don't remember me?!" The person said in a fake hurt tone.

"If you took of the mask, I would remember!"

"If you want to see me so badly, why don't you take -"

The masked man did not finish talking, because Naruto pulled out a piece of the blade that pierced his thigh and he threw it at the mask, causing the mask to fall off.

Naruto did not seem suprised when he saw the person behind the mask.

"Konohamaru.."

Konohamaru grinned darkly, "Long time no see Naruto-bro! You don't seem suprised to see me!"

"That's because I'm not!" Naruto stated as he placed his pinky in his ear.

"Oh? Even after I killed your parents and hurt Kakashi? You really are the most heartless man in the world..." Konohamaru said in a cold voice, "I hate you, aniki! You took grandpa away from me so I'll take everyone you love from you!"

"Oi, I love you, Kono-chan, can you start by killing yourself, now?!" Naruto said as he blinked.

"FUCK YOU!" Konohamaru snapped at Naruto as he appeared in front of the blonde.

Naruto jumped back as Konohamaru slashed his blade at the blonde's neck, the black haired teen growled and quickly disappeared, Naruto looked around but Kono was no where to be seen, until at last Kono appeared in front of him, the blonde's eyes widened as Kono punched his jaw and he flew backwards, he did a back flip, and landed standing up, to have Kono appear in front of him once more, the blonde jumped back once as Kono swung his fist.

"For someone who is trying to kill me... you sure suck at it!"

Konohamaru growled and he lifted his hand up in the air and pointed it at Naruto, he slowly started clenching it, and as he did, Naruto froze as he felt like if someone was squeezing his heart, the blonde fell to the floor on his knees as he coughed out a ton of blood.

"Kuku, not so confident now, big brother!" Kono laughed darkly, "What's the matter... cat got your... heart?!"

S-Shit! My heart feels like if it's going to explode... I have to get out of here!

The blonde slowly got up, and he quickly turned around and started running away, he jumped from roof top to roof top until at last he jumped into the river that ran through Magnolia, as the current took him away he saw darkness.

"Aww.. seems Naruto-bro didn't want to play with me!" Kono pouted as he watched the current take Naruto away, he turned around only to see a card fly past him.

Cana was bored, so she decided to go 'hang' out with Naruto, somehow Levy was walking with her to Naruto's place, she had no idea why the blue haired mage wanted to the blonde, not that she cared anyways, but maybe they could have a threesome?

"C-Cana.. what is Naruto like?!" Levy asked Cana, her cheeks were blushed.

"Hmm, he's odd...?" Cana answered, "Why? you like him?!" she smirked.

"N-NO! N-No, he saved my life once... that's all!"

"I see..." Cana blushed, she remembered when he saved her once, too.

They arrived to Naruto's place and to their shock, it was destroyed! They were about to run inside the semi destroyed place when they saw someone jump on the roof!

Was that Naruto?!

The only way to find out was to climb the roof and chase after the person! That is what they did, they climbed a random building, and chased after the person they figured was Naruto, but it turned out it was not the blonde, so they stopped not far away from the person, and to their suprise the person appeared before Naruto and attacked him.

Both watched as the boy attacked the blonde, until at last they saw Naruto run, the boy ran after Naruto, both Cana and Levy ran after them, they stopped when they saw Naruto jump into the water, Cana quickly grabbed one of her cards and threw it at the boy who was turning around, the card flew past him as he stared at Cana and Levy.

"Who are you and what buisness do you have with Naruto?!" Cana asked the boy who looked no older than 16.

"I was playing with, aniki!" Kono smirked evilly.

"C-Cana, we should get out of here, he is dangerous!" Levy whispered to her friend.

"That was some hardcore playing!" Cana snapped at him.

"Who are you?" Kono just asked, "His friends? His girl-friends... eh doesn't matter, just don't get involved with him or you could end up dying!" he smiled evilly.

"I'm his girlfriend!" Cana lied, "Have a problem with my Naruto?!"

Kono smirked and he licked his lips... "His girlfriend, huh? I wonder if it would shatter that cold heart of his if I forcefully had sex with you.. kuku"

Cana and Levy froze.

"W-What's your deal with, Naruto?!" Both Cana and Levy took steps back as Kono got closer to them.

Kono stopped, and they flinched when killer intent leaked from him, it felt so dark, and evil. They could see hatred and pain in his eyes.

"Naruto... killed the man I loved most in the world... he killed my Grandpa!" Kono clenched his fists, "I will never forgive him... never!"

"W-WHAT?!" Cana and Levy were shocked, they didn't know what to think.

Kono nodded, "That's why I said to stay away from him... Grandpa loved Naruto... and Naruto betrayed him, he betrayed me, I hate him!"

"Why would he do such a thing?!" Levy looked at the floor.

"I don't know... but I will never forget the day..." Kono said as he clenched his fists so hard, his knuckles were turning red.

Flash Back

"Hurry up, brat! Danzo-sama wants you at his location as soon as possible!" Thirteen year old Konohamaru was being dragged through the forest by men in masks.

"W-Who are you?!" Kono asked as tears slipped his eyes, "W-Who's Danzo?!"

"You'll see once we get to the location, so shut up now!"

They kept walking or more like running through Magnolia's forest for what seemed like hours, when at last they arrived to a clear area with no trees, and not far from them there was cliff.

Konohamaru smiled when he saw Naruto and his grandpa Sarutobi, near the cliff, the blonde was a few feet behind Sarutobi, and not far away Naruto saw a man wrapped around in bandages, but Kono didn't care about that, he was happy to see Naruto and his grandpa!

"Naruto! Old man!" Kono yelled happily as they got closer to them.

However, the smile on his lips faded away, when he saw Naruto with a blade on his right hand, the thirteen year old watched as Naruto swung the blade at Sarutobi's neck.

"GRAAAAAAANDPAAAAAAA!" Kono yelled as he fell to the foor on his knees.

Naruto sliced through the old man's neck, and Kono watched as his grandpa's lifeless body fell to the floor, blood squirted everywhere, mostly on Naruto's clothes and face, Kono then watched as his granpa's head rolled on the ground floor.

"G-Grandpa! N-No! Y-You can't be dead!"

Time seemed to have stopped for him, as he stayed on his knee's. Tears were spilling from his eyes as he looked at his grandpa's lifeless body. He then looked up at Naruto.

Konohamaru's eyes widened when Naruto turned his head slightly, he looked at Naruto's left eye, it was so cold and so emotionless, Sarutobi's blood was all over his face, clothes and hair.

However, what caused him to freeze was that he saw a small evil smirk on Naruto's lips.

Konohamaru clenched his fists as he saw darkness, this was all too much for him.

I'LL KILL YOU NARUTO! I'LL KILL EVERYONE YOU LOVE! I DECLARE VENDETTA AGAINST YOU AND EVERYONE YOU LOVE, I'LL MAKE SURE YOU ROT IN HELLLL!

Were Kono's last thoughts as he finally saw darkness.

Flash-Back Ends

Cana and Levy were at loss at words, Kono had just told them how it all happened, and they had no idea what to say, who knew Naruto was a murderer, right?

"I tried... not letting the rage and hatred take over...but I won't be satisfied.. until he feels what I feel!" Kono growled, "So thank you for listening... but you both seem to know Naruto... so now both of you will die!"

The Fairy Ladies took steps back as he was about to charge at them, but stopped when two masked men appeared in front of him.

"Black Cat, Danzo-sama orders to see you!"

Kono growled and he spoke, "You ladies got lucky!" before he and the two men vanished.

Levy and Cana stayed there and stared into space.

"Come on, let's go back to the guild, I need a drink!" Cana broke the silence as she began walking away, Levy nodded and followed her.

Naruto woke up in a hospital bed, he sat up on the bed, only to feel pain on his chest, he coughed up a little bit of blood as a familiar person walked into the room.

"Brat, I don't know what I'm going to do with you!" It was Tsunade, "I found you floating on the river as I brought your parent's to this hospital."

"They are alive?!"

Tsunade nodded, "The same person who did that to your heart... did the same to them, however... your injury healed a lot faster than both of Minato and Kushina... in fact if i recall, your heart was healing by itself when I found you... I have never seen anything like it!"

Naruto stayed silent and Tsunade continued, "Kakashi is doing good too, they'll all recover, it is a good thing I found them when I did or else..."

The blonde still stayed silent, which caused Tsunade to punch his jaw.

"DON'T IGNORE ME BRAT!"

"Oi, Sexy Nurse, Can't a man get a flashback without being interuppted?!"

"No, you cannot, and don't call me sexy nurse!

"If you were 30 years younger I'd have at you!"

"I'm going to kill you if you don't shut up!" Tsunade was blushing, "Oh, your parents want to talk to you as well, they told me to tell you once you woke up!"

Naruto stood up, "Lead the way, old hag." Tsunade grew tick marks on her forhead.

When Naruto arrived to his parents room, he saw Kakashi there, he was happily chatting with them. They all turned and looked at them.

"My baby!" Kushina yelled excitedly, "You're alive! I was so worried!" tears dropped from her eyes. "W-What if that masked man comes after you, again? H-He was looking for you! I feared the worst!"

Naruto smiled, "Mom, It'll all be okay, believe it!"

They all froze! None of them were expecting him to say that nor to smile.

Kushina wiped her eyes, "My baby, trying to cheer me up! So I'll be happy!"

"Son... that man in the Black Mask, did you know him?!" Minato questioned Naruto.

"I have no idea who the are!" Naruto lied, they didn't need to know.

"That magic of his is a rare type of magic," Kakashi told the blonde.

"Yes... It is known as Blood Magic... the ability to control blood, and make sharp blades out of the magic... it is very dangerous..." Minato added, "He was able to injure Kushina and I and we're Saint Level Mages... you need to be careful Naruto!"

Naruto nodded, "I'm going back to sleep!" as he walked out of their room.

When Naruto arrived to his bed, he laid down on it. Seconds later Kakashi walked into the blondes room and spoke, "Naruto, we need to talk!"

"Eh?!"

"That was Konohamaru... wasn't it?!"

Naruto did not seem suprised that Kakashi figured it out, and nodded.

"Why is he after you? If you don't mind me asking."

"I killed old man Sarutobi!" Naruto replied with cold eyes.

Kakashi froze, he was actually suprised at this information!

So yeah, my attempt at starting a dark and serious arc, what did you guys think? I tried my best at this :O
