Disclaimer: I do NOT own Harry Potter or its respective characters.

I would like to thank everyone who is sticking with me on this… I finally have some things mapped out as to where to go with this, so hopefully I will be getting it going again.

Parseltounge

Albus Dumbledore was sitting in his office at Hogwarts contemplating the letter he had sent to Harry Potter. The child was confused, looking for attention perhaps. Mr. Diggory had turned the corner in the maze just in time to see Harry take the cup. Unfortunately Alastor Moody had received an urgent call and had to leave after the third task. Harry may have returned with a bloody arm but could easily have gotten it in the maze. There was no way that Voldemort could have possibly returned. Albus sighed and rubbed his temples hoping that the boy would see reason. It would be such a shame to lose him.

~Scene Change~

On and on the list went naming every injury Yasuo Ryu had ever gotten. Every cut, gouge, dislocation, broken bone, everything was on the list. It even mentioned the malnutrition. Madam Ellena looked livid "Who did this to you?! You are too short, you're underweight, your bones are very weak, you have major scarring in places I'll not mention, there are words carved into you, and to top it all off there are major blocks on your mind and your magical core!"

Yasuo Ryu looked uncomfortable "Well, my aunt and uncle don't really like anything they don't consider normal, and magic falls firmly into that category. As for the blocks, I didn't even know that was possible."

"It is," Kern said, "it's very dangerous though. If the blocks have been on for too long they can cause irreversible damage to you. If too much is blocked the same thing can happen."

Yasuo Ryu gulped, clearly worried "What kind of damage?"

Kern remained silent, and all Madam Ellena would say was "It will depend." After a moment, she sighed, "Kern, go get the Headmistress, and…ask her…tell her…to bring Allen." Kern had an unreadable look on his face as he left the room. Once the door had closed and Kern's footsteps had faded away, Madam Ellena turned to Yasuo Ryu. "I am not going to lie to you, we are preparing for the worst. While it's just you and me, I'd like to take a look at those scars. I want to see if there is anything I can do about them." Yasuo Ryu nodded, removing his shirt. The healer didn't comment on any of the scars, for which he was grateful. His greatest shame were the three words carved into his skin. Adorning his back, which was littered with various other scars, was the word WORTHLESS, it was his fifth birthday present from his uncle. Spelled out across his chest MONSTER, his tenth birthday gift from his uncle. Lastly, carved into his inner left thigh, was his aunt's gift from the day he turned eleven. That hated word that taunted him and made pain shoot through his heart every time he saw or heard it because he knew in his heart that it was true. The word FREAK.

Madam Ellena sighed, "I'm sorry Yasuo Ryu, but there isn't much I can do because of how long they've been there. If you had come at eleven years old I could have done something about some of them. But that isn't your fault. The best I can do is a high powered glamor that draws energy from your surroundings to function. Even then, some could be able to see through it, others might be able to dispel it. I'm sorry, truly I am."

"It's okay Madam Ellena, I'm use to them."

"You shouldn't have to be!" She cried out in dismay, "I should be able to do something! I'm a healer damn it, I should be able to help you!" At this Madam Ellena looked ready to burst into tears.

"Calm down Elle, we'll figure something out," said a deep baritone voice from the doorway. Kern had returned with two people. The man who had spoken was tall and muscular, he had deeply tanned skin, bright blue eyes, and black hair tied back in a short ponytail. What caught Yaruo Ryu's eyes, however, were the horns curling around his sides, touching his bellybutton. The woman was average height, with sandy skin, brown hair, and golden eyes. She looked remarkably familiar, but Yasuo Ryu was sure he didn't remember meeting her before.

Kern spoke up, introducing the pair, "Yasuo Ryu, this is our headmistress Amber Grave, a werewolf, and our advanced studies professor as well as deputy headmaster and the school's expert on the Kedakai. His name is Drake, and he is a rare breed of Kedakai dragon. Professor, Headmistress, this is Yasuo Ryu."

As soon as Professor Drake's eyes had finally fallen on the teen he gasped, "By the blessed, a Kedaling dragon!"

"Yes, now fix him," Madam Ellena cried desperately.

Professor Drake nodded before moving over to the shaking Yasuo Ryu. After an hour the Kedakai dragon stepped away from the Kedaling. His eyes darkened as he began to scream "That Kuso yarō! How dare he? How dare he touch a Kedaling! How dare he strip a Kedaling from their birthright, he shall die for what he has done. He shall suffer the wrath of full might of the Kedakai! HE SHALL NOT LIVE!"

"Drake you're yelling in parseltounge again, calm down and tell us what happened." the headmistress said calmly.

"It's those blocks, they've been on for far too long. I don't have the skill to remove them without killing the Keadling, but if they are left on for too much longer the blocks themselves could kill him. Regardless of whether or not they are removed, they have already damaged his core and his emotional process. There is nothing I can do."
