Madly Out Of Love Pt. 2

In The Big Huge Mansion Of.. Bruce Wayne...

"Jervis. Where we going?", Elizabeth Kane asked her boyfriend as he led her through the crowd of people.

"A friend of mine doesn't believe that I have a girlfriend. So I'm going to prove him wrong", Elizabeth sighed deeply. Of course, it's not because he loved her and wanted to get some alone time. It's because one of his friends didn't believe the poor guy about dating someone. To tell the truth. Elizabeth wouldn't have believed it too if not for the fact Jervis can be a pretty sweet and sensitive guy.

"Jervis, are you sure we should do this? I mean, what if the servants find us?"

"So? It's Bruce's party. A lot of people are probably up stairs. Jonathan is", Elizabeth stopped and let go of Jervis's hand.

"Jonny is weird, creepy and a psychopath. I don't like it when you hang out with him, you know that!", She shouted. Jervis sighed and looked down the empty hallway. This'll take awhile.

"Selina!", A man in a business suit shouted looking down the hallway. Selina sighed deeply placing the tiger eyes back on her head and pushed off the wall. Harvey Dent was fuming as he walked down the hall. Who the hell, said She was invited?! Barry, who was trying to flirt with the girl, jumped and watched the two exchange words. "What do you think you're doing here? You weren't invited!"

"Actually. Bruce didn't even personally invite anyone. It was just Jake, with Bruce in the background, who said anyone was free to come to his party. So you", She stated pointing a finger at Harvey. "Can't say anything". Harvey was about to argue back when he heard the sounds of glass breaking in the next room.

"Hey!", Barry shouted opening a door. What he say was a stupid scarecrow trying to miss chemicals that probably shouldn't be missed together. "What do you think you're doing?" Jonathan stood frozen in place as he looked up at Barry. The bro was a little scary. Selina looked in as Harvey approached the dumb fuck.

"Wait", He said standing in front of Jonathan. He may be a crazy little guy, but he was still a little guy. "I get you're close friends with Bruce. But Jonathan might have broken the glass for a good reason and I don't think he should get beaten down for it", Harvey stated backing Barry off.

He turned to look at Jonathan was still shaking. Harvey cleared his throat and stared at the boy to help him get started with the talking.

"I-ah..was ah..just-making chemicals".

Oh dear lord.

"What!", Barry yelled. "In Bruce's house?!"

"He dose it everywhere!", Selina said from the door.

"Yeah!", Jonathan continued picking up a test tube. "This is one of my latest creatures. It's a type of gas that-ah!", Jonathan screamed when a hand suddenly grabbed his wrist. He turned to see a scary face and yelled again dropping the test tube.

"AH!", The mask was ripped off to show Jake holding his face. His eyes were bloodshot and he was crying.

"Oh god. Jake I'm so-".

"That was hilarious!", Harvey said cutting Jonathan off. The teen started laughing as Jake was fell to his knees. Jonathan started laughing slowly.

"Looks like a the laughing clown is crying!", Selina joked.

"Didn't your mom ever tell you not to mess with chemicals", Barry joked in. Jake pulled his hands away and glared up at the four of them. They all stopped laughing and stared at him in slight fear.

Jake paused. Someone was still laughing at him. Jake got up and slowly and turned around. At the entrance to another door Bruce and Harleen were still laughing. Harleen looked up at Jake and started to laugh harder.

Oh. So this was funny to her.

"I'm sorry, J", Harley said trying to calm down. "But that was so funny. Ha ha ha ha ha!", Jake clenched his fist as he watched the two continue to laugh their asses off. Selina was sweating from the fact that Harley was laughing at her boyfriend who was a short-tempered sociopath.

"You think this is funny?", Jake asked in a very low scary voice. Both Harley and Bruce stopped when they realized the weight of the moment. "You think this is hilarious?"

"Well I-".

"You think I'm just some big joke waiting to happen? Huh! Well do ya!?"

"Jake, I never-".

"And you Wayne!", Jake said pointing at Bruce. "You must think this is great. The guy who bothers you every day's eyes get all hurt and messed up!"

"Jake it'll wear off-!"

"Shut it scared freak show!"

Jonathan proceeded to run out the room.

Harley got scared and tried to reason with Jake.

"J. Please, I'm sorry-".

"I'm sorry", Jake mocked. "Shut up! But that's the problem. You never know when to shut up. You know what-", He stopped suddenly and stared Harley right in the eyes. "Harleen Quinzel. We. Are. Over.

"And that's how my life is over", Harley sighed pulling her head up some more. Bane and her were sitting on the outside bleachers watching the cheerleaders practice.

"Come on, Harley. J, was just mad. He'll take you back", Harley sighed again.

"Yeah right. He hates me now. I just know it. I should've just kept my mouth shut", Harley got up and grabbed her bag. Pamela was at the bottom waving at the duo. "Gotta go. See ya, Bane".

"Bye Harls", Bane watched Harley and Pamela walked off the field and back to the locker room.

"At some point Jake and Harley wanted to find Victor because he disappeared on us and we found one of the lounge rooms with a bunch of people arguing".

Bane listened closely to Bruce as he sat in the main living room. Poor Jake and Harley. This was a tragic.
