Outside of the gates at beacon hills high Derek finds Lydia talking idly to Allison. He puffs out his chest and mentally prepares himself to not take no for an answer. Weather or not Derek would admit it, Lydia scares Him. She's so...prickly.
He finally gets to where the girls are, but before he could get a single word out The strawberry blonde whips her head in his direction.
"The reason I lied is so you would realize you're an asshole. Seeing as you're here, you haven't reached this realization yet."
Cocking her head to the side to play with a stray curl, she taps one of her vibrant heels on the pavement in thought. standing by quietly as a spectator, Allison waits for Derek to reply. Just as Derek was about to say something else Lydia turns sharply and clicks away to her car.
Derek, being of sound mind and decent self preservation, didn't go after her and demand she listen to what he had to say.
He is pulled out of his musings when the girl stops beside him, tire dangerously close his boot clad foot.
She rolls down her tinted window, lowers her sunglasses to pierce his very core with her icy glare.
The teen smirks, sending chills down the Alphas spine as she simply says
"If you've hurt him, I'll crush you."
She then speeds away, leaving Derek confused and a bit apprehensive about the next time Lydia sees him.
Twenty or so minutes later, Lydia's shiny car pulls up in front of The Stilinski house. With her she has a large cup with every fountain drink, and three very large orders of curly fries. If this didn't cheer Stiles up a bit, she didn't know what would. Lydia squares her shoulders, letting her prada bag hang loosely from her arm as she carried the fast food into her friend. They had become close so fast, Lydia can hardly remember how it happened. Stiles had been there when she needed someone to talk to about this werewolf business, and Allison was always too busy for her. Either hating everything because shes fighting with Scott, or ignoring everything because she's not fighting with Scott. So Stiles dragged her to the mall and made her try on everything in her favorite store. She modeled everything and somehow it didn't shock her to realize that he knew the right sizes to grab from the racks, and what colors look the best on her. That was also the day that Stiles asked for her help with Derek as they sat at the food court. 'I dont know what to do anymore. It hurts but I cant stay away, ya know?' Stiles trailed off for a moment before he shrugged the thought away and devoured his food. She smiles at the memory. 'I don't understand how such a sweetie could be in love with such an ass. But Isn't that always the way?' She laughs at the cruel irony, and climbs the few porch steps to ring the doorbell. She didn't like to wait, and seeing as how that god awful jeep was is in the driveway Lydia knew Stiles was at home. Thinking about it for a second, she pushed open the door, taking in the scene before starting her search for Stiles' room. 'Hes a teenaged boy, so his room must be upstairs' The strawberry blonde blew her bangs out of her face and readjusted her handbag before she started her trek up the wooden staircase.
