Chapter 39: Buy Me A Drink Next Time.
"Whoa! N-Naruto is fighting his counterself who happens to be the king?!" Lucy asked, as she saw Nine Tailed Fox and Dragon charging at each-other.
"It appears so..." Gray, looked at the two beasts, "We need to get at far away as possible, or we'll end up being caught up!"
"I-Is Naruto-San going to be okay?" Wendy, asked as she looked down with worry.
"Hmph, he'll be fine!" Carla said, without looking at the fight about to go down.
"Let's go help him! Because of him our friends are saved!" Natsu stated, "Plus, I can ask that Nine Tailed Dragon about Igneel!"
"First, we have to make sure our friends are safe, then'll we will see if we can help Naruto," Erza told them, and they all nodded, as they got closer to where the Lacrima once was.
Sarutobi was looking outside the cell window he was in and he smiled, "I knew he'd help out in the end... but the real question is can he win and snap Edo Naruto out of his brainwashed trance?"
"I'm sure he can.." Sarutobi turned around to see his cell open up, Edo Jellal had opened it, "Sarutobi, I need for you to come with me."
The old man nodded as he walked out of the cell, "Where are we going?" Edo Sarutobi asked the young prince who stayed silent for a while before he spoke, "We are gping to rid this world of magic..."
"W-What?!" Sarutobi's eyes widened, "If you do that... then it means you don't plan on living?!"
Jellal nodded, "Yes, I will be the villian... you'll be the hero Sarutobi, I was going to have Panther Lily do this.. but I cannot burden him with such a thing..."
"You're crazy! I cannot allow such a thing! I am known as a criminal who has gone against your father, the Exceeds as well, I am known as a criminal, a traitor! I'll be the villian.. it's the last thing a useless old man can do before departing this world..." Sarutobi stated, as he looked a Jellal.
Edo Jellal was about to speak when Sarutobi spoke, "I'll take no for an answer, either this or I go back into the cell!"
Edo Jellal sighed, "Very well then... thank you." he whispered, as they walked.
Kurama was flying towards Edo Kurama, as the dragon got closer to his fox counterpart, Edo Kurama's Nine Tails leaped out at the dragon, and they tightly wrapped around Kurama. Edo Kurama then opened his mouth super wide, both Naruto and Kurama's eyes widened when they saw a huge ball of power about to be blasted at them.
"O-Oi, what the hell is that thing?!" Naruto asked, as he stood on top of Kurama's head.
"I don't know, and I don't want to find out!" Kurama replied, as he tackled Edo Kurama, he opened his mouth wide and bit down as hard as he could down on Edo Kurama's neck. The Nine Tails Fox scuirmmed at this, as the ball of energy he was about to blast vanished.
Kurama then felt the nine tails wrapped around his dragon body loosen up, so he pushed Edo Kurama back and yelled, "Dragon's Roar!" out of his mouth came out a huge beam of blue fire, that hit Edo Kurama. The Nine Tailed Fox Flew across the city, and crashed down on a random part.
Spit.
Kurama spat blood and spit on the floor,,"You taste like boiled crap, rabbit!" he stated , as his Edo Counterpart stood up.
"That's all you got mutant lizard?! I'll show you true power!" Edo Kurama, grinned darkly, as he huffed in air, and opened up his mouth wide, a huge ball like earlier began to form, and within seconds he yelled, "Tailed Beast Bomb!" the huge beast bomb flew right at Kurama who flew up in the air to avoid it.
Only for Edo Kurama in quick speed to appear above him, Kurama's eyes widened as his counterpart swung and punched him in the face. Both Kurama and Naruto flew back into the Tailed Beast Beast Bomb, and a huge explosion occured on them and around them.
The explosion destroyed half of the Royal City, in the process. Edo Naruto could only smirk, there was no way Earthland Naruto and Earthland Kurama could survive that blast.
However, the smirk on his face vanished when he saw Kurama get up, the blonde on top of his head got up as well. Edo Naruto growled as this, "Die! Kill them Kurama!" Edo ordered Edolas Kurama, who nodded.
"Tailed Beast Bomb!" Earthland Kurama yelled as he got up, a huge blue sized ball, formed in front of his mouth, and he shot it at Edo Kurama, who was shocked.
It hit Edo Kurama and the Nine Tailed Fox flew out of the Royal City, as he flew out, Kurama flapped his wings and flew at his counterpart, he quickly grabbed the Nine Tailed Fox, and took off with him towards the Exceed City: Extalia.
Crash.
Kurama crashed on top of his counterpart, his counterpart in return had crashed in Extalia. The area around them was destroyed in the process.
"H-How?! You're not a tailed beast! How were you able to do the same attack?!" Edo Kurama, asked his counterself, as he kicked him off from on top of him. Kurama crashed back across from his counterpart.
"I have the power to mimic: anything you throw at me I'll be sure to return by 9000!" Kurama grinned darkly, as he now stood across from his counterpart, both glaring at each-other, as it remained silent.
"Oi, can we get a bathroom break? I gotta go take a shit!" Naruto, broke the silence.
"As If! The only break you'll be getting is when you die!" Edo Naruto, snapped at his counterpart.
"I'll give you my favorite porn mag! I'm done with it: I've been done with it!"
"WHO'D WANT A SHITTY PORN MAG?" NOW SHUT UP AND DIE!" Edo Naruto, yelled at the blonde.
"I'd be dead but you're doing a shitty job at trying to kill me!"
"Fire God's Hell's Flames!" Edo Naruto, yelled as disappeared, and re-appeared behind Naruto, the blonde got hit by a stream of black fire, and he flew out of Kurama and towards Edo Kurama.
Munch!
The nine tailed fox opened up his mouth, as Naruto flew inside of it and he munched down on the blonde.
"EEEEK! NARUTO! DON'T DIE! IF YOU DIE I DIE! I LEFT SOME OF MY POWER INSIDE OF YOU SO YOU CAN'T DIE! DON'T GO TOWARDS THE LIGHT!" Kurama, panicked as he charged at Edo Kurama who was grinning like he had just eating a tasty human - oh wait!
"Dragon's Blazing Wings!" Kurama, yelled as he slashed at Edo Kurama with his wings blazed with fire. Edo Kurama dodged the attacks, and bit dowm on Kurama's right wing. The dragon roared, as Edo Kurama ripped his entire right wing out of his body, and threw it towards another direction as if it was just a piece of rotten meat.
"Tailed Beast Slash!" Edo Kurama then slashed at his Earthland self with with his nine tailes, The Dragon dodged some of the tails but one managed to go inside his mouth. Kurama felt the tail go down his throat and start messing up his body from the inside.
"Kuku! Is that a lung? No - wait it's your heart! Now die fake Kurama!" Edo Kurama laughed sadistically, as Earthland Kurama felt his tail wrap around his heart from the inside of his body.
"lek hellz I'l dieth, yew freakth!" Kurama yelled, as he bit down on the tail, he managed to rip it off, and then managed to puke out. He then grabbed the tail and smirked, "Looks like you need a fucking hug around your neck with this tail!" Kurama wrapped, the tail around Edo Kurama's neck and started choking him to death with his own tail.
Edo Kurama opened his mouth gasped for air, as Kurama choked him to death, the dragon then shoved his entire left arm down Edo Kurama's throat, he was looking for Naruto.
"Lung..."
"Heart..."
"Rib Cage.."
"Naruto..."
"Kidney.."
"OH WAIT - NARUTO!"
Earthland Kurama pulled Naruto out, who was covered in spit, stomach acids and blood, "Oi, I was going to roast him inside out, you stupid Lizard!" Naruto snapped at the dragon.
"I go to all the trouble to save your ass! A little thank you would be good!"
"Oi, thank you for ruining my awesome plan, lizard!"
Kurama sweat-dropped, "Close enough for me!"
"Bickering while in the middle of the most epic fight of the century! You two must be very confident, both of you piss me off!" Edo Naruto growled, as he now stood on top of Edo Kurama's head, "Fire God's Bellow!" the Edo blonde shot Kurama and Naruto with a powerful beam of black flames. They flew back while Edo Kurama quickly yelled, "Tailed Beast Dark Blast!" he shot at them with a dark blast of red magic, that hit them, Kurama flew right out of the Cat City and now he and Naruto were falling to their death!
"OI, FLY YOU STUPID LIZARD!"
"If you HAVEN'T NOTICED: THAT FUCKER RIPPED OFF MY OTHER WING!"
Before anything else could be done or said, they saw Edo Kurama jump out of the cat city, and unto Earthland Kurama, the fox grabbed the dragon into a head-lock as they now flew down towards the Royal City, they got closer and closer to the Royal City as Edo Kurama smashed Kurama's head into what remained of the Castle. The Dragon remained laid down on the ground as Kurama jumped back.
"Tailed Beast Bombs!" The Fox shot mutltiple beast bombs at the Dragon who wasn't getting up. One of the bombs hit his stomach, the other his face, as they exploded on him.
"Kuku, so disappointing... That's all my counterself had?" Kurama, grinned darkly, as he saw that his Dragon Counterself wasn't getting up.
"Let's finish them off!" Edo Naruto quickly said as he and Edo Kurama were getting ready to combine attacks.
"Tailed Beast Death Bomb!"
"Fire God's Death Bellow!"
A huge black Beast Bomb the size of a Mansion combined with black flames, the combined attacks headed toward Kurama who still wasn't getting up. At last the attack hit the dragon with the blonde, the beast bomb covered the entire Dragon's body as it exploded...
When the explosion cleared, there was no sight of Earthland Kurama nor Naruto.
"HAHAHA! WE DID IT! THEY'VE BEEN REDUCED TO NOTHING! NOW NOBODY WILL STAND IN MY WAY! I AM THE GREAT KING NARUTO!" Edo Naruto, laughed, he had won.
"Oi, Don't talk like we're dead: it makes you look crazy, and it makes me feel weird! The last thing I want is for someone looking like me laughing at my death! Do you want to gimme nightmares?!" Edo Naruto's eyes widened when he looked up at the sky to see Earthland Kurama flying up in the air, he had both of his wings.
"W-What?! H-How?!" Edo Naruto asked, "H-How do you have your wing back?!"
"What are you babbling about?! I never lost my wing, you both were just under my illusion!" Earthland Kurama stated, "Look around!" Edo Kurama and Edo Naruto looked around to see that the Royal City nor The Cat City was destroyed, the only part that was destroyed was the castle, they hadn't moved at all, they had just been under a very powerful illusion.
This made Edo Kurama and Edo Naruto growl, they had been fooled! They had been trolled, by the troll Masters: Kurama and Naruto, who were happening to be grinning.
"HOW DARE YOU MAKE A FOOL OF THE GREAT KURAMA! I WILL KILL YOU IN A SLOW AND PAINFUL WAY, THAT YOU WISHED YOU NEVER MESSED WITH WITH ME!" Edo Kurama yelled in rage.
"Oi, you're great at being a fool, after all you got tricked by a shitty illusion, but if you want to get serious... it's time we ended this: I have to return home to watch some soap opera re-runs, ya know?!"
This made Kurama and Naruto growl! The Earthland blonde had pretty much saying that the Soap Opera Re-Runs were more interesting and better than them!
"Idiot, I found a way to snap Edo Naruto from that brain-wash spell!" Kurama spoke in the blonde's mind, not wanting their counterparts to know.
"How?"
"Just get close enough to your counterpart, then just grab his head and pour your magic inside his head, the magic will override the spell and break it!"
"Oi, then get close enough for me to do this!"
"Hmph, I'll try... that illusion wasted a lot of my magic.. I left a huge portion of it inside your body for I can return after all of this!"
Naruto cut him off after that, as he noticed Edo Kurama run towards them then jumped in the air at them, the fire dragon quickly dodged the incoming Fox, as he shot a beam of blue fire at the fox. Edo Kurama dodged the attack mid-air and his nine tails extended and flew at Earth-land Kurama. The dragon also extended his nine dragon tails and 9 tails collided with 9 tails.
"Dragon Bomb!" Kurama, then shot out a round bomb of blue fire at his counterself.
"Tailed Beast Shockwave!" Edo Kurama just roared at the attack, causing it to disperse, not just that but it caused Earthland Kurama to fly back through the city.
As he flew back through the city, Edo Kurama charged at Kurama, in the blink of an eye, he was behind the dragon, he grabbed one of his tails, and started spinning around with the dragon, after a couple seconds he let go of the tail, causing the dragon to fly once more through the city.
"Dragon's Vortex Roar!" Kurama as he flew away from his counterself, shifted his body and faced it towards Edo Kurama, he then shot out a beam that spinned like a vortex, it hit the Fox's stomach, and he crashed back through the city.
Both then quickly got up from where they crashed, and charged at each-other once more.
"Kyuubi Beam!" As he charged at the dragon, from the tip of his tail he shot, beams of red magic.
"Dragon's Flame Wave!" Earth-land Kurama flapped both his fire coated wings forming a huge wave of fire, the fire counter the beams but not just that, it made half of the city catch on fire.
They kept charging at each other, and at last they crashed into each other, Edo Kurama felt his counterself's talons pierce down on his fur and flesh, while Earthland Kurama felt the nine tails wrap around his body, and wings.
"Dragon's Blast!"
"Tailed Beast Bomb!"
Both shot eat each-other's faces from so close to each-other. But neither flew backwards or gave in to their counterselves attack! Fox nor Dragon planned on losing!
Edo Kurama growled, "It's we finished this!"
"No, it's time I finished this!" Earthland Kurama, with his head, head-butted the fox's face. Edo Kurama crashed back, and quickly got up.
"Tailed Beast Vortex Beam!"
He shot out a red vortex beam at Kurama, who didn't move. The attack before it hit the dragon, the dragon disappeared. It was time to use the ultimate, most legendary attack a dragon could use.
Earthland Kurama appeared behind Edo Kurama and yelled, "One Thousand Years of Death!" as he shoved his Talons up Edo Kurama's ass hole.
"EEEEEERRKKKKKK!" Edo Kurama, yelled like a girl as he flew foward, and crashed into a random part of the city, it was a K.O! The Fox has X's as eyes and his tongue was sticking out of his mouth.
Kurama grinned as he blew on his Talons, "I am the Ultimate Kurama, so suck it, you fake!"
"Oi, what happened to letting me get close to my counterself?!"
"You're on your own, brat! I gotta go back inside your body, it should be easy from here!" Kurama said, as he started fading away into the blonde's body.
Naruto landed on the floor, and faced Edo Naruto, who seemed to be tired, the Nine Tailed Fox was already inside his body as well. Now it was time for them to settle their shit.
Naruto was about to charge at his counterself when the Royal city started shaking, or what was left anyways, which wasn't much. Anyways, the city started shaking and the blonde noticed the floating lands in the sky were falling down, as magic burst out from under random parts of the city. What was going on?!
"That bastard! What a fool! He plans on taking all magic!" Edo Naruto, growled as Naruto watched him turn around and run away, "I gotta stop him before it's too late!"
Naruto disappeared and appeared infront of Edo Naruto, he swung his right fist and punched his counterself's face. Edo Naruto flew back as Naruto spoke, "Oi, your fight is with me, fucker!"
"Y-You! You gotta let me pass! I've work so hard for this! I went out to Earth-land to train with a fire god, I sealed a fucking fox in myself! I even faked my death, I betrayed Fairy Tail! I've done so much just for Edolas, you can't take this away from me!" Edo Naruto, told the blonde who didn't even bat an eye lid.
"Oi, rub it in a tissue then throw it away!" Naruto only said, "Your taking the magic from my world, and I can't allow that, now can I? Magic is the reason I even have a job!"
"Damn you to -" Edo Naruto spoke, but stopped when Naruto appeared in front of him once more, he grabbed his counter-self by his head, and poured magic into his brain. Edo Naruto yelled in pain, until at last he stopped yelling and Earthland Naruto let go of him.
"W-What's going on?! Who are you?!" Naruto blinked when his counterself asked who he was, "Why do you look like me?!" he continued to ask.
"Err, you were brainwashed... ring a bell?!"
Edo Naruto's eyes widened, and then he grabbed his head as memories of him doing bad shit while brain-washed, "No! No! No! This can't be! I hurt so many people... my friends... Fairy Tail... oh god! Fairy Tail!" Edo Naruto started crying as he fell on the floor to his knees, "Now the world is ending because of me!" he cried more, as more of the lands that were in the air crashed down on the city.
"Yep, you fucked up!" Naruto nodded, "Well, my work here is done! I'm going back home!" Naruto turned around, and started walking away.
"HA! FOOL YOU FELL FOR IT, DIE!" Naruto turned around to see Edo Naruto with a dagger on his hand, he quickly stabbed the blonde on his chest, blood squirted out as Naruto froze.
Edo Naruto had a look of pure evil, and hatred on his eyes, "Kuku, I broke the spell that was used to brain wash me years ago! I was pathetic! So I decided to change! I will be King of this world! I will destroy Earthland! I will get eternal magic, and I will become an Immortal who will rule Edolas forever, kukuku!"
Naruto... time just slowed down for the blonde, so that was the real Edolas Naruto all along? Nothing but a piece of shit, "Ha! I'm such a fool... to honestly think I wanted to save my counterself..." Naruto re-equipped a Katana, and appeared in front of his blonde counterpart, he swung it right on his counter-parts neck.
Thank you.
Were the last words of Edolas King Naruto, as his body fell to the floor headless, and lifeless.
"Buy me a drink next time... in the afterlife.." Naruto said, before he huffed in air, and then puffed out some fire. He walked away as Edo Naruto's body burned away.
Naruto was walking around the Royal City, he noticed a crowd of people surrounding Jellal and Sarutobi, and it looked like like they were about to fight to the death.
"Naruto! You won against Edolas Naruto?!" Jellal and Sarutobi asked the blonde.
"Kuku, of course not... I killed the Earthland Naruto, and now I'll be the king of the world!" Naruto smirked evilly as he charged at Jellal, "Now you'll be dying brother!"
Jellal and Sarutobi froze at the information and Naruto spoke, "Thank you for releasing all this magic! Now I'll suck it up, and have all the magic in Edolas!"
"S-So, the king was after all of this?!"
"Overthrow the king!"
"Prince! Please fight the king! Save us!"
Naruto continued charging at Jellal, who decided to charge at him as well, Naruto as he charged swung the Katana he used to kill Edo Naruto, Jellal however dodged the attack, and punched the blonde's jaw. Naruto flew backwards as the blade on his hand slipped from it.
Jellal caught it, and Naruto charged once more. This time Jellal stood still, as the blonde charged at Jellal, Jellal striked the blonde right on his heart, the blade entered his chest and exited his back.
The blonde coughed blood as he turned around and ran away, "I'LL BE BACK TO ABSORBE ALL THE MAGIC IN THE WORLD, KUKUKU!" Naruto laughed as he he ran.
"Yay! Prince Jellal saved us!"
"He won't survive that!"
"Yes! The evil king is gone, now Prince Jellal can lead us!"
Was that Earthland Naruto or Edo Naruto? Both Sarutobi and Jellal thought, as the blonde vanished from sight. They would never know.. not that they would see either blonde ever again...
"Reckless as usual, huh? It's a bitch healing wounds ya know!"
Naruto heard Kurama say in his head, as he leaned on the back of a building.
The blonde started glowing, it was time to go back home.
"How did it feel to kill your counterself?"
"I felt nothing..."
Kurama knew the blonde was lying and spoke, "I would of been sad, Killing your counterself is like killing yourself... I bet in a way both counters are connected.. My counterself and I could of been besties!"
"Besties... huh?" Naruto looked sad, as his body started flying in the air.
"The world sure is a messed up place..." Naruto said, as his body vanished from Edolas.
No one would ever know he was the man that helped save Edolas.
Note: Dun! Dun! Dun! Done, so like Forgive me if the fight between Edolas Kurama and Earthland Kurama was shitty! It was short I know! Not just that! I have no experience with fights like this ya know? Two powerful beings fighting to the death. Anyways, I feel like I need to clear some shit up!
Why did Edo Naruto say "thank you" before he died?! Well, Naruto did in fact remove the brain-washing spell. Edo Naruto went back to normal but couldn't handle everything he had done while being brain-washed so he decided to pretend he was hella evil. Naruto figured it out, and decided to kill him because he figured that Edo Naruto would either end up killing himself or living in self-loath, hate. So Edo Naruto took the coward way out. Naruto at the end said " The world is a messed up place.." because his counterself ended up like that because of Faust, and the blonde realized that in the world: People end up paying for the actions of others.
So yeah on that.. Just explaining cos I know some people wouldn't get it. I feel like if I left a lot of Edo plot holes... So if you have any questions on the arc please ask! Second... How was the Edo Arc? Good? Bad? Eh?! I reallllly want feedback on this! So please tell me what ya thought on the arc.
Now... I want to talk about this story. Man, Good times and bad times with this story, huh?! Funny moments, asshole moments, some deep moments, some dark moments, but mostly funny. I enjoy writing this story and this really of an asshole Naruto. However, I decided Naruto doesn't change much huh? He's kinda still the same from chapter 1 to this chapter. So I decided I will add more emotion, depth, and have him be more nice. Yeah, he will still have asshole moments but he will be nicer, after the seven year time skip he will also end up being better friends with Fairy Tail, alright? Just a heads up!
Now, Tenrou Island Arc, I will not do this arc simply because Naruto is not in Fairy Tail, I'll do something different that some of ya might like! During this time Naruto will change a bit and stuff, and the story style will change a bit too, like before i would mix humor with serious moments or fights, and whatnot. Now, I won't do that as much, so just giving you all a heads up. I will do more serious arcs, and introduce OC characters, so yeah!
