Chapter 42: Powerless.
The six Dragon's charged at the blonde who yelled, "Fire Dragon's Roar!" but nothing happened. No magic circled appeared in front of him, no fire blasted out of his mouth, causing his eyes to widened. He had lost his Slayer Magic? Was it because Kurama left his body? The blonde growled and did what any man would do on the spot. He ran, he turned around and ran.
He looked back to see the Dragon's still behing him. The Six Dragon's were getting ready to shoot their Dragon Roar's at him, when a man appeared in front of the blonde out of nowhere.
"Wood Dragon's: Great Forest Technique!" The man yelled, as his entire right arm turned into a tree that extended, the tree was huge, and it's branches and roots wrapped around the six dragon's, the powerful branches wrapped around their necks, wings, feet, bodies, unallowing them to move.
"Hashirama! Let us go and your death will be painless!" One of the Dragon's roared at him.
"Hahaha! If I do that you'll just eat me!" Hashirama Senju laughed.
"That's the point! Us Dragon's are superior! You human's deserve to die!"
Hashirama's eyes narrowed and he sighed, "I wish we could coexist... It doesn't have to be like this... humans and Dragon's can live together in peace!"
"Hmph, in your dreams!"
Hashirama sighed and turned to Naruto, "It's dangerous to be out here by yourself... and why aren't you wearing anything but a pair of underwear?! Wait - I've never seen underwear like that!"
"Oi, it's a pair of boxers not underwear!" Naruto snapped at Hashirama, before he answered, "I'm not from this time... I'm from the future!"
"Huh?" Hashirama cocked an eyebrow, "The trauma from the dragon's must of caused you to imagine things, kid. It'll be alright, follow me to the base! There's food, clothes and shelter!"
Naruto's right eyebrow twitched, "This bastard doesn't believe me!" He muttered before the blonde just nodded. It was better to follow Hashirama, then end up as Dragon Crap. The blonde by just looking at Hashirama, knew that this man was freaking powerful no doubt!
"So where are you from? What Shelter? You don't seem to be from the Leaf Village." Hashirama, asked the blonde as they walked.
"Huh? Shelter?" Naruto was confused.
"Yeah, there are four known shelters: Mist Village, Sand Village, Rock Village, and the Leaf Village where we are currently headed, each shelter is hidden by either the Mist, Rocks, Sand or huge trees, it protects us from the Dragon's, so it's harder for them to find us..." Hashirama spoke, "We have to live fear, we have to hide... or the dragon's will wipe us all out!"
Naruto blinked, "I told you I'm not from this time!"
Hashirama laughed, "Hahaha! Kid, your imagination is going wild!"
"Why don't you believe me?!"
"Because... many people say stuff like that... it makes them feel better if they imagine if they aren't in the middle of this Dragon Civil War... it helps us escape from these dark times..." Hashirama replied, a small sad smile on his face.
"Oi, I'm not bullshitting! If I want to escape reality, I'll do that by drinking until I drop!"
"Very well then, If you are from the future, prove it!" Hashirama, told him.
Naruto thought about it before he grinned and re-equipped a Manga into his hand, he tossed it at Hashirama who caught it, "That's a Manga, something created during my time!" Naruto stated as Hashirama flipped through the pages, sparkles in his eyes!
"T-This! Is a bible! A holy bible! All Hail The Mango!" Hashirama, lifted the Manga over his head.
"Oi, it's a Manga not a Mango!"
"I believe you.. then... so you really aren't from this time, huh?" Hashimara continued flipping the manga's pages, "Tell me, what is your time like?"
"There are no Dragons."
Hashirama smiled, "That'a good to know, kid... at least people of your time don't have to go through what we are going through... fear...despair, loss, hatred... it's a cold world!"
Naruto just blinked, "Oi, I just want to find Kurama, The Nine Tailed Dragon to go back home!"
Hashirama's eyes widened, "I see... well, that's going to be tough, a man known as Madara Uchiha is in control of the King Of Dragons... he could kill you before you even know it!"
"Oi, where is this Madara Uchiha dude?"
"I'm not sure... his clan the Uchiha Clan, their location is unknown... we have an Uchiha back in the shelter, maybe you could ask her?" Hashirama stated, and the blonde nodded.
"What kind of Magic do you use?" The older man asked the blonde, out of nowhere.
"Dragon Slayer Magic... well, I did... now I can't use it since I got here!"
"As I thought you kind of smell like one, haha!" Hashirama, stated, as they entered a dark forest. They walked around for a few minutes, before they arrived to a clear area, the blonde looked around there was around two hundred people, the houses were made out of trees, people looked worried and scared, but when they saw Hashirama, they eased up.
"Hashirama! You're back!"
"Phew, I feel a lot safer with you back!"
"Did you find anything?"
"I found, blondie over here..." Hashirama pointed at Naruto, "Talking about blondie, where is Tuskuyo Uchiha? Blondie needs her for something!"
"Here I am, my Minion!" Naruto, turned to see a small girl around 11 years old, she had coal black eyes, tan skin, and blonde hair, she also had an arrogant expression on her face, "Bow down before your Queen, minions!" She ordered, and the blonde looked around to see people bow down, hell, even Hashirama bowed down, and he was the leader of the place.
"You! How dare you not bow down before your Queen?!" Tuskuyo snapped at the blonde as she glared at him. Naruto blinked, "Oi, I don't bow down to snotty brats!" as he pointed at her nose to see snot coming out.
Tuskuyo turned red with embarrasment as she tried wiping the snot with her sleeve, "How dare you call your queen a snotty brat?!"
"Oi, you are no Queen!"
"Yes! I am! I am the Queen and you're all my minions... I am going to conquer the world and the Dragon's will have to listen to me! So bow down!" Tuskuyo snapped at the blonde.
"Oi, like hell you will! Go pay with some dolls!"
"J-Jerk! Why do you have to be a jerk?!" Tuskuyo glared at the blonde, "Hashirama, arrest him for not believing that I am Queen!"
"Oi, you're more like a dictator than a Queen!"
"As you wish, My Queen!" Hashirama stood up, he walked towards Naruto and grabbed his arm, as he dragged the blonde who blinked! What the hell was going on?!
"Blondie, you should of gone with the flow!" Hashirama stated as he dragged the blonde.
"Oi, what flow?!"
Hashirama sighed, "Tuskuyo... she is an Uchiha who was kicked out from the Uchiha, pureblood Uchiha's have coal black eyes, pale skin, and black hair... Tuskuyo's dad wasn't an Uchiha, so the poor kid is half Uchiha, the clan supported her until Tuskuto turned six, if the child was able to unlock the Sharingan, she would stay in the clan.. but she didn't... so her own mom, her own family kicked her out.. they betrayed her, the kid then was found by a Dragon who raised her for the next few years in Fire Dragon Slayer Magic, I then found her crying over the dead dragon that raised her, another Dragon had killed it... ever since she's been with us, understand?!"
"Huh? You say something?" Hashirama sweat-dropped as he saw the blonde reading a Manga.
"I'll pretend you were paying attention! Anyways, Tuskuyo acts like that because it's her way to cope with reality... so we go along with the flow, must people in this shelter don't like her because she's Uchiha... So you have to understand... this is for her sake... I play along for her sake..." Hashirama looked down sadly, "And you will too, if you want her to take you to where the Uchiha are at..."
"Oi. yeah, yeah, whatever!" Naruto, nodded. Hashirama smiled before taking the blonde to a cabin made of trees, "There are clothes in that cabin, find whatever you want, and come back to the middle of the shelter, there will be food ready!"
Naruto nodded as he entered the cabin, he looked around to see clothes all over the place, he picked a pair of black pants, some boots, and a white-tanktop. After he put on the outfit he walked out of the cabin and walked in the path he and Hashirama had walked before.
He arrived to the place he was in earlier to see people all over the place, all eating, some were chatting, other's were silent, and others were crying and eating.
"Blondie! Over here!" Naruto, turned to see Hashirama calling out to him, the blonde walked towards him to see him sitting down next to some other Dragon Slayers. "We were thinking after, we are done eating, want to come hunt some Dragon's with us? There have been sighting of Dragon's near the south part of the forest, maybe it'll help get your magic back?!"
Naruto didn't want to so he spoke, "Oi, I pass, go have fun getting killed!"
"Hahahaha! I like your humor, blondie!" Hashirama laughed, causing the blonde to sweat-drop.
"Oi, you have some screws loose, Hash-brown!"
"Hey! Who are you calling Hash-brown?!"
"You! Who else!?"
Hashirama just growled before he continued eating, the blonde took a random bowl of soup and started eating as well, oh how he missed home.
The blonde was walking around the shelter, it was beginning to be nightfall, there was still some sunlight out, the Dragon Slayer's from the shelter including Hashirama had gone to hunt the Dragon's on the South-end of the forest. The blonde looked around to see people tense at this, they truly relied on the Dragon Slayers.
Naruto continued walking when he saw Tuskuyo being ganged up by some of the people.
"Uchiha! Die! We hate your kind!"
"Because of your clan my brother died!"
"My mom died thanks to that asshole, Madara!"
Some were even throwing rocks at her, the eleven year old girl was just looking down sadly unto the ground while another person spoke, "Now that Hashirama is gone! We can beat you all we want!" the person swung his fist and was about to land it on her face when Naruto appeared in front of her, and instead the person landed the hit on his stomach.
"Oi, pick on someone your own size like me, okay?" Naruto grinned darkly.
"Hmph! Get out of the way! Why are you trying to protect an Uchiha like her?!"
"Oi, she's the Queen and I'm her minion! So I gotta protect you, right Queen?" Naruto turned his head, to see Tuskuyo surpised before she nodded, "Hmph, that's right!"
Naruto only grinned darkly, he was about to punch a random person. When a roar was heard up in the sky, they all looked up to see over one hundred dragons up in the sky, about to shoot at them with their Dragon Roars.
"KILL THE INSECTS! THEY MUST ALL DIE! WE DRAGONS ARE ON TOP OF THE FOOD-CHAIN HERE! SPARE NOBODY!" One of the Dragon's roared, and then all hell broke loose.
Naruto looked around to see people crying, running and looking like hope was lost. A dragon landed near the forest, and grabbed a handful of people, he placed them on his mouth, and Naruto watched as heads, arms, feets, and legs all fell to the floor as the dragon bit down on the people.
"I-It's over! We're all going to die!"
"Run! Run!
"We're doomed... it's the end for us... we can fight against them..."
Naruto could feel the despair, the fear, the hatred coming from the people. He smelled the blood in the air, he could taste it, he could see guts, and heads rolling... the dragon's were smirking sadistically. The blonde froze, he had never seen or felt anything like this. One of the Dragon's grabbed a six year old boy and placed him between his teeth, biting down hard. The blonde saw the blood squirt everywhere.
This! Was! Hell!
Naruto was in hell, he could sense the killer-intent coming from the dragons.
It was horrible! It was a horrble feeling!
The blonde fell to the floor on his knees!
He couldn't take this!
"How dare you attack your queen! Bow down Dragon!" Naruto looked up to see Tuskuyo below a dragon, she was glaring up at the giant lizard. The blonde's eyes widened as he saw the Dragon about to blast at her.
Quickly getting up charged at Tuskuyo, he saw as a Dragon's Roar was about to hit her. He ran as fast as he could, and he tackled her out of the way. Both flew foward and into the forest. The blonde got up and looked at the Leaf Village. There was dead bodies everywhere, heads all over the place, guts, it reeked of blood!
But the worst thing was that the Dragon's were smirking... those sadistic, smirks. They weren't killing because they were hungry! They were killing because they enjoyed it! The blonde tried blazing his body with fire, but couldn't!
He was powerless! He felt powerless!
Naruto felt his body start shaking on its own, what was this?!
It was fear, he had never felt fear before! It was awful!
"I-I c-can't take this..." The blonde stuttered, "T-This is..."
Despair, he now tasted true despair.
"M-Minion... we have to get out of here! We will die if we don't!" Naruto stopped shaking and turned to Tuskuyo who was pulling his shirt. His eyes widened! How could she remain so calm? Wait - she was probably used to it already... But the blonde wasn't, he had never felt anything like it.
"Y-You're right... lets go!" Naruto nodded, as he and the young girl ran deeper into the forest.
The blonde wanted to look back but didn't.
No - he couldn't...
The images of the dead people flashed in his head...
The smirking Dragons...
Never before had Naruto felt so powerless.
Note: Yo, Naruto had never felt powerless in this story, huh? He had won most fights, and such. So he had Not really ever felt all these emotions. So I decided to do this to well have him taste these emotions. How will this experience help him grow?
Ps: I decided to give him a new Dragon Slayer element, he will probably get his blue fire back, so any ideas on his second element?
Lightning? Light? Water? Ice? Etc. So gimme suggestions.
