Alright, so I have no idea who Oliver should be with so sooner or later I'm just going to have him go on random dates with people, unless people give me an idea who he should be with…Well here is the story…
Later that day, during lunch, Miley asked Oliver and Lilly would come over. The duo agreed. Lilly would have been more existed about hanging out with her girlfriend after school, but her mind was somewhere else. In fact, Lilly for the rest of the school day Lilly didn't pay attention.
Her mind was busy making lists of do's and don'ts or as she called them, don't you dare's for her next date with Miley. At the top of her list was drink. Bad idea. Lilly started to remember what happened at the party and how her jealousy compelled her to drink and that caused Hannah and Mike having to tack her home. Also, that was how they got the photo of them. So, drinking was out of the question. The other thing on the list was having Hannah there. Hannah causes people to come over and flirt with her, which was on the hell no list. The rest of them were simpler then that like, no kissing in front of Miley's family or getting separated.
Before, Lilly could even think of what she would were the final bell rang. Stretching and cracking her back she got out of her seat and began to pack up her art stuff in her cubby. When Lilly turned to walk away from the rows on rows of cubbies she expected to be looking at a deserted art room. What she didn't expect was to be face to face with her best friend. After jumping a little, from surprise, Lilly retaliated by hit Oliver in the head with her notebook, repeatedly.
"Okay, okay," Oliver called putting his arms over his head, "I'm sorry, I surrender." Lilly stopped, lowering her book as Oliver lowered his arms. Once his arms where completely down she hit him again, smirking. "Yea, I should have seen that coming." Nodding in a agreement, still smirking the pair walked out of the art room and to the front of the school. Before they could walk outside someone called for them.
"Oliver! Lilly!" They turned to see Miley running to them, "Oliver we have to return those answer keys back to bio lab."
"Shit," Oliver cursed.
"Lilly, you can wait in Jackson's car for us," Miley said as she and Oliver, bag shacking, ran down the hall. Giving herself a small nod Lilly strode outside and began to look for the familiar red Lexis. Spotting it she walked over and slid into the back seat.
"Hey," Jackson greeted, "Where's Miley and Oliver?" Returning something to a class, Lilly wrote and showed Jackson. Jackson gave a short nod and then, after a short silence, he asked something that has been on his mind for a while.
"Have you always not been able to talk?" Lilly was surprised by the question, but answered anyway with a nod. "Damn that must have been really hard." Lilly gave a shrug like jester.
"Here is something a little random, but has Mark ever shot anyone with those guns?" Jackson asked, trying to lighten the mood. Grinning Lilly wrote, twice.
"Twice!" Jackson shouted in fear more than shock, "Who?" A mail man.
"Why, what did the mail man do?" Nothing, he just finds them pointless. Jackson laughed at this reason.
"Who else did he shout a DMV worker?" Jackson asked laughing. The funny thing is he really did. Jackson almost fell over laughing when he read her response.
"You got to be kidding me?" he asked threw gasps of air. In fact, he was still laughing when Oliver and Miley walked.
"Why are you laughing?" Miley asked with an incredulous look. His answer was just more laughter and mumbled words. The only words that anyone could make out were, Lilly…Mark. Oliver seemed to have got why he was laughing and turned to his best friend.
"You told him about the DMV and the mail man," Oliver said grinning. Lilly nodded, beaming more brightly.
"Can someone tell me what is so funny?" Miley asked. Chuckling a little Oliver explained. Miley gave a small forced laugh. To her it was not funny it was terrifying, if he shot a mail man and a DMV worker cause they annoyed him what would he do to her if he didn't think he was right for Lilly, she didn't want to think.
