Chapter 57: Killer Scientist!

Naruto kept staring at Kurama who was giving the blond a shit-eating grin. The blond couldn't stop staring at Kurama - after all the Dragon King freaking looked like him!

"Oi, answer my question!" Naruto ordered Kurama, who continued to grin.

"I don't feel like it brat, so suck it!" Kurama flipped off the blond, a grin showing is fangs on his face.

"You're looking for a ticket to death, aren't you?!" Naruto asked, a tickmark on his forehead.

"Ha! You can't kill me!" Kurama laughed at the blond, "But anyways..." Kurama decided to change the subject, "What the fuck were you thinking?! Fighting E.N.D?! You are fucking suicidal! Be grateful I found you when I did... otherwise you'd be dead. E.N.D's anti-healing magic was eating away your organs! It was a bitch healing those wounds!"

"How'd you know I fought E.N.D?"

"I fought it once.." Kurama looked thoughtful, "You've slept an entire 24 hours by the way."

The blond didn't look surprised, instead he looked around to see newspaper everywhere, he picked up a newspaper near him, to see some highlighted part, and he decided to read it.

The Magnolia Times!

The Killer Scientist strikes again! Last week the body of an unidentified twelve year old was found near the lake here in Magnolia, the victim was burned to death by the Killer Scientist. This week we found the dead body of 21 year old who was missing body parts. The Killer Scientist is causing fear to roam the city, and we recommend to walk in pairs, especially at night. Where will the Killer Scientist Strike Next?

Naruto dropped the newspaper to the floor and cocked an eyebrow at Kurama.

"I'm doing a quest, I'm supposed to stop a Killer Scientist from kidnapping women, he experiments on them and drops them off at random places in the city, it's been like this for a month now - and I don't even have a clue to his whereabouts," Kurama told the blond.

"Oi, the great Kurama doing quests? That's surprising!"

"Hmph! I'm not a lazy bum like you!"

"Oi, you were inside my body for quite a while lazy bum! You didn't even pay me rent!"

"I've saved your life! That should make us even!"

"I didn't ask to be saved!" Naruto smirked at Kurama, "You asked me to help you and then forced yourself inside my body, but I've never asked you to save me!"

Kurama growled, "Ungrateful brat!"

"Love you too!"

"Oh! One more thing, lazy bum!" Kurama suddenly said, his voice very serious, "Remember that Madara Uchiha? Well... Bastard made it into this time as well!"

Naruto's eyes widened, "W-What?! Oi, you gotta be shitting me! That pervert wants me dead!"

"That should be the least of your problems... That man, he is a great strategist... He hasn't done anything to bring attention to himself since arriving to this time... and that worries me a lot!"

"Oi, how the fuck did he even end up in this time?!" Naruto couldn't help but ask.

"Err, I rather not say..." Naruto saw Kurama's cheeks turn red from embarrassment.

The blond wanted to know more but he decided not to pry, so he stood up without saying a word and headed towards the exit of the place he was in. He opened the door and before he left Kurama spoke, "Welcome back, brat!"

The blonde turned his head slightly and with the corner of his eyes he looked at Kurama, "Oi, next time I come here I want you looking like something else!" Were his only words before he left.

Kurama couldn't help but grin, "I don't live to please you!" He said to himself before digging into a pile of newspaper.

"Naruto!" The blonde walked into Fairy Tail only for his mom to tackle him, causing him to fall back his mom on top of him, hugging him. "I thought you joined Raven Tail! I thought you left me again! Thank god! I'm so happy!"

Naruto blinked, "Why would I join Raven Tail?!"

"Cana came in telling us Raven Tail offered you a great deal to join them in destroying us, since you didn't show up for 24 hours we figured you joined them," Gray, from a nearby table explained to him.

"Aww, you think so low of me, I'm hurt!" Naruto said in a fake-hurt tone.

"You shouldn't be surprised!" Gray smirked, "After all you do have a bad reputation!"

"And you have stripping problems! Where's your shirt?"

"My shirt! Where is it?!" Gray said by instinct before he looked down to actually see himself wearing a shirt. He had been tricked!

Naruto grinned at him, "Just kidding!" He said before turning to Cana, "Oi, didn't your parents teach you not to evesdrop?! The blue eyed Mage asked her.

"Hmph! I'm just looking out for the guild!" Cana replied, not bothering to look at his eyes. "I'm glad he's still in Fairy Tail..." were her thoughts while looking at her drink.

"Haha! Everything's good! So we shouldn't worry!" Kushina smiled while standing up, she offered Naruto a hand which he accepted while getting up, "Naru-chan wouldn't hurt us!" She told everyone in the guild.

Naruto shrugged his shoulders and walked over to the guild bar where Mirajane and some blue haired woman always were, and he sat down.

"Naruto! What would you like?" Mirajane smiled at the blond.

"I want you," Naruto winked at her.

"Oh my," Mirajane placed her hand on her chest, "Unfortunately, I'm not on the menu! So do you want anything else?"

The blond was about to speak when the door to the guild burst opened, he turned to see a woman with blue hair, pale skin, and chocolate eyes gasping for air.

"Miss, are you okay?!" Erza walked over to the woman.

"N-No... M-My... D-Daughter... S-She's missing... Boxer-Sama... Where... Is ... Boxer Sama?!" The woman gasped for air. Erza pointed at Naruto who like usual looked bored. The woman walked up to him and got on her knees, "Please... My d-daughter... I love... her... Very much! She hasn't been home for two days... At first at thought she was with her boyfriend... But when I asked him... He said they had broke up... I'm worried the Killer Scientist got her... Please... Help me Boxer-Sama... I have no money... but I can give you this... It was my husband's..."

She pulled out a golden watch, the blond just blinked at this.

"Oi, I'm not going to risk my life for a watch, lady! Come back when you're filthy rich!" Naruto snapped at the woman.

"Please..." The woman begged.

"Oi, are you deaf?!" Naruto asked her, "Nobody would risk their life for such a shitty watch!"

"Haven't you ever been worried about someone you love?! Please Boxer-Sama! I heard you are strong enough to take on a dragons! You can save my daughter!" She kept pleading.

"Listen lady," Naruto sighed at her, "I don't play hero. Your daughter is probably at a club fucking away all the broken heart pain, it's what everyone does these days after a heart-break"

"Ple-"

"Enough!" Natsu cut off the blue haired woman, "I'll save your daughter - we Fairy Tail will save your daughter! You can count on it!" He smiled at her.

"R-Really?!" The woman stuttered.

Natsu nodded, "You don't have to keep begging to that heartless man!" He glared at Naruto who Ignored the glare.

"T-Thank you!" The woman started crying, "Thank you so much..."

"Yes! We will get your daughter back in no time!" Lucy too smiled at the woman.

"I shall help get your daughter back!" Erza spoke as well. "It is unforgivable for a man to separate daughter and mother! The Killer Scientist will pay!"

"I guess I'm in it too!" Gray stated.

"Juvia will help!"

One by one4 Fairy Tail members all agreed to start helping, except for Naruto who was just casually sitting there, while looking at the Fairy Tail members.

"I thought you had changed, I guess I thought wrong, Naruto.." Naruto turned to see Natsu to his side, the pinkette looked disappointed.

"Oi, I'm a mage not a hero - mages get shit done for money, heroes do shit for free, it doesn't necessary mean I'm bad, Natsumi."

"Yeah? Didn't you see her begging?!"

"Oi, as a matter of fact I didn't!"

Natsu just sighed before walking towards his friends, who seemed to be looking at the blond. Naruto got up from the chair he was sitting on and headed for the guild exit.

"Naruto! Where are you going?!" His mom asked the blonde.

"Manga." Was his only replied, as he walked out.

It stayed silent in the guild for a minute before Erza spoke, "We will all split up into a group of two... Nothing much is known about this Scientist other than that he has been kidnapping women for the last month... Here is a picture of the woman we are looking for." Erza handed a picture to Lucy who examined it, and then passed it around the guild.

"Any questions?!" Erza asked after.

"If we do find this scientist freak, do we engage in combat?!" Macao asked her.

"If you believe you can win then yes, but if you cannot I would suggest running." Erza replied.

"Well I'm all fired up!" Natsu grinned while clenching his fists, "Happy! Let's go!"

"Aye!" Happy followed after the pinkette.

Soon everyone was running out of the guild. Kushina and Makarov were the only ones who stayed behind. "They are such wonderful children!" Kushina smiled.

"Your son could learn a thing or two from them."

Kushina smiled, "Naruto will do the right thing in the end, after all he's an Uzumaki, believe it!"

Makarov only nodded, while the two hoped everything went smoothly.

"Brat, didn't think you'd be back so soon!" Kurama blinked when he saw Naruto barge into his home, "Miss me?!"

"Oi, of course I missed you so much I want to punch you!"

"Fuck you too!"

"Get in line!"

"I'd only get in line to get my shot at beating you to a pulp, lazy bum!"

"Oi, I'd never lose to a mimic like you!"

"Hmph!" Kurama snorted before asking, "Why are you here?!"

"I want information on the Killer Scientist." Naruto replied.

"Oh? Now why would you want information?!" Kurama cocked an eyebrow, "Don't tell me you're going to look for him?!"

"Oi, just gimme the information!"

"Fine! It'll be 1 million jewels -" Kurama didn't finish because Naruto wrapped his right hand around the mimics neck.

"The information in exchange for your life? Or would you rather die?!"

Kurama gasped for air . "Geez you stupid blond! I was joking!"

"Funny! So was I!" Naruto let go off of Kurama's neck and the red-head spoke, "See kid, I have no information about the killer scientist... Other than his attacks, I don't know he looks or what his name is.. He just popped out of nowhere..."

Naruto stayed silent.

"However... I know someone who might have information on him."

"Who?!"

Kurama sighed, "My least favorite person: Madara Uchiha."

Wendy and Lucy were walking through the empty streets of Magnolia, the sun was starting to set causing them to worry a tiny bit.

"W-We should probably head over to the guild now..." Lucy said while looking around.

"Yeah! I think so too! We can look tomorrow!" Wendy agreed with her.

"Yes. It's for the best." Carla who was on Wendy's head nodded.

They turned around only for two cloaked figures to appear in front of them.

"My Orochimaru-Sama, we found a Dragon Slayer and Celestial Mage.. What a find!" A man that sounded familiar to Lucy spoke.

"I wonder... Will they be able to survive that, Kabuto?" Orochimaru asked his assistant.

"Let's find out, shall me?!"

Orochimaru smirked and before Lucy and Wendy could do anything. They each felt a needle pierce their skin. Within seconds both saw darkness.

"Wendy! Lucy!" Carla yelled at them, "What have you done to them?!" She glared at Orochimaru and Kabuto.

"Both are just taking a nap... And so will you!" Kabuto pulled out a needle and threw it at Carla who quickly dodged it and took off flying as fast as she could.

"Wendy! Lucy! Hang on! I'll bring help! Please be safe..." Carla thought, while flying.

Note: Decided to end it there. Yep Orochimaru and Kabuto main villains for this arc lol whatcha think?! I really do hope everyone enjoyed! So gimme a lengthy review and tell me what you think!

Lol seems next Chapter Naruto and Kurama meet Madara Uchiha.
