Carlos bounced around the baggage claim area of the Aspen airport. Aside from doctor visits, this was one of the few times he'd been out of the cabin since his accident and this was the next time he would get to see his girlfriend. He hadn't seen her since she left on her spy mission. Even though he'd talk to her every day since she arrived home this would be his first real chance to see she made it through okay.
"Sit down," Logan exclaimed when Carlos bouncing around caused him to bump into him.
"Sorry, just excited." Carlos hopped from foot to foot.
"We all are," Logan said.
James, who had been sitting in one of the hard plastic chairs, stood up when people started coming down the stairs and escalator. Another plane had landed and the passengers were anxious to get to their luggage. He smiled when he saw the dark brown hair of a familiar young girl knowing who should be not far away.
Carlos jumped about a mile in the air when he felt someone tap him on the shoulder from behind. Before he could turn around to see who it was, she wrapped her arms around him in a tight embrace all the while laughing at his response. As soon as he gained his composure Carlos did turn around and pulled Alexa into a deep kiss.
"Where is she?" James muttered to himself. He saw Katie run to give her brother a hug, Jo come up behind Katie and passionately kiss him once Katie released her hold, and Camille run to Logan like she was going to tackle him but fortunately did not taking care of his arm, but no Lucy. He looked down at his black sneakers he had been scuffling along the maroon carpet. She had said she was coming to the party and would be bringing her brother along, but maybe she was still upset over the whole Fallon thing. Of course, that was it. James finally got the girl of his dreams and he managed to ruin everything.
"James?"
He looked up to see the deep brown eyes of Lucy. Without hesitation he enveloped her in a tight hug letting the tears fall.
Lucy was expecting something, but not so much the tears. Kendall had a private talk with her a few nights ago about the conversation he'd had with James and she had a feeling he would be vulnerable right now.
"I love you," she whispered in his ear. "That's all you need to know." She pressed her lips against his hoping that would stop his tears.
"I love you, too," he whispered back when they finished.
"Hey, what's this on your upper lip?"
"What?"
"This stuff." Lucy ran a finger along the scruff growing around James's upper lip and chin.
"Oh, that. I, uh, I lost my razor."
"Mmhm." Lucy raised an eyebrow. "Good, I think it's hot." She pecked his lips.
"Ahem."
"Oh, James this is my brother, Linus. Linus, this is my boyfriend, James."
Linus looked like a thicker and taller version of Lucy sporting a flattop hairstyle with the ends dyed green.
"Happy birthday, Big Brother," Katie bopped her brother on the arm.
"Hey, not til tomorrow!"
"Yeah, then I'll give you twenty!"
"Twenty?" Kendall asked confused.
"Yeah, 19 cause that's how old you'll be and one to grow on." She waggled her eyebrows. Logan, Carlos, and James (still holding on tightly to Lucy) exchanged looks.
Jo laughed. "You might want to prepare for a bruising."
"I don't want to be the next one to end up in the hospital!"

The crowd of ten gathered in two cars, Griffin's SUV and Paige's car, a blue Honda Accord. She let them borrow it for the night trusting they would return it in the same condition she loaned it to them. They even promised to give her a full tank of gas. Kendall drove the sedan with Carlos and Jo, Katie, and Alexa in the back seat. James drove the SUV with Lucy, Linus, Logan and Camille. They had plans that night for dinner out. Carlos would be returning to the airport after dinner to pick up his brother who was flying in from Minnesota.
"So, this is Paige Godfrey's car?" Jo asked.
"Yep," Kendall answered.
"Should I be worried about you two?"
"Hell no!" Carlos exclaimed. "The only thing Kendall does is whine 'I miss Jo. I wish Jo were here. I wanna kiss Jo. Waah waah waah Jo.'"
"Awwww." From the backseat Jo patted Kendall on the shoulder. Kendall's face turned a deep red.
"Awww," Katie said lightly punching her brother in the arm from the middle backseat.
"No accosting the driver." Kendall glared at his baby sister through the rearview mirror. "And what about you, Carlos? 'I wonder where Alexa is. Why won't she tell me where she had to go? I wish I could go with her. We talk every day, why won't she call me now? Is she punishing me for when I was being stupid?'"
"Aw, Carlos, you know I do it for your safety."
"Where did you go?" Katie asked.
Alexa paused. The guys were the only ones that knew she was a spy and that was because they were part of one of her missions. The girlfriends and Katie as well as Mrs. Knight had no idea.
"Chicago," Carlos blurted out. "She told me, I just didn't believe her."
Katie made a noise sounding like she didn't believe him, but everyone let it pass. Alexa let out what she hoped was a silent sigh of relief.
.().
"Linus, this is Logan and you already met Camille. Logan's in the band with James," Lucy introduced. "And this is Linus, my older brother, who I haven't seen in two years until he finally came to LA last week to visit me."
"Hey, I'm here now and all you want to do is hang out with your boyfriend."
"Hey!" James exclaimed. "Nothing wrong with that."
"I haven't seen James in a month. I deserve to spend some time with him."
"A month, two years, same thing."
"You're my brother, he's my boyfriend."
"Whatever."
"They've been doing this all week," Camille whispered to Logan. "He came in on Monday and the arguing hasn't stopped."
"This might be why he hasn't visited her in two years."
"Although, to be honest, if they haven't seen each other in two years that means she hasn't visited him, either."
"You don't have any siblings you haven't visited in the past two years?" Logan asked. "I find it odd the only family member of yours I've met is your father."
"I haven't met any of yours. Are you embarrassed of me?"
"Not at all. My mom's the only one who's visited me in LA and that was just an overnight thing to get James's mom to keep him here, long story. I'm the one who does the visiting. I'll have to bring you with me next time I go home."
"To meet your parents?"
"Yeah, what's wrong with that? My mom will love you."
"Nothing. I would love to meet your parents."

Everyone came to the conclusion that it was a better idea for Carlos to take the SUV to pick up his brother so they could return Paige's car to her in good condition, but that meant four people would have to join Carlos and they couldn't come up with four people who wanted to do that, so Carlos took Paige's car back to the airport. Alexa and Katie joined him. Katie was the odd person out in that there was no more room in the Lexus, but she didn't mind. She liked Carlos. She liked all of her brother's friends. They were brothers to her, too. And she'd really like to get to know Alexa.
"I saw Cris over the summer when BTR was in Minnesota," Carlos said after parking the car and heading back into the airport with Alexa on one side and Katie on the other, "but we didn't get to spend much time together. That's probably the thing I don't like about living in LA. My parents and siblings didn't join me."
"If you had the chance would you move back to Minnesota?" Alexa asked.
"You wouldn't be there."
"I could be there."
"James, Kendall, and Logan wouldn't be there. Katie and Mrs. Knight wouldn't be there. I think I'd just rather have my family move here, well not here, but LA. I love Minnesota, but LA's got better weather," he added. "Although there is something about being able to skate on an outdoor rink."
Carlos looked up at the time schedule near the entrance of the airport.
"His plane is landing in fifteen minutes. I told him to call me when his plane lands. He got mad that I was being an overprotective older brother, but then he promised he would."
"You're really worried about him," Alexa said reaching for Carlos's hand and interlocking her fingers.
"He's never made a trip like this before on his own, I don't think."
"He's seventeen. I'm sure he's fine," Katie said. "When you were seventeen you were flying around the world."
"Not alone!"
Carlos and Alexa were snuggling together in the uncomfortable plastic chairs and Katie was playing a handheld video game when Carlos's phone rang.
"Cris?"
"Yeah? Oh, we just landed. We should be exiting soon and then I'll meet you at baggage claim. I don't have anything besides our carry-ons so we can just leave from there."
"We'll be waiting." Carlos hung up his phone. "He's here."
Roughly fifteen minutes later the passengers started coming into the area. He watched people pass by as he looked for his brother.
"That girl," he said quietly standing up and pointing to an Hispanic girl a few inches shorter than him with long black hair, "looks an awful lot like Nina."
"Carlos!" The girl squealed. "Still wearing the helmet!" Carlos patted his head forgetting that he had the helmet on. "It was my idea to get you the new one."
"Nina?" He let go of Alexa's hand and ran to his youngest sister. After wrapping his arms around her he felt two more pairs find their way around him. "Tina? Cristian?"
"Mami and Papi let us come so we thought we'd surprise you!" Nina exclaimed bouncing up and down. Out of his three siblings, Nina was the most like Carlos. "Monday's a teacher workday at school."
"Is that Alexa?" Cris whispered looking over Carlos's shoulder at his girlfriend.
"How's your head?" Tina asked. "I wish we'd come see you when you were in the hospital, but we had school. Mom was very adamant we couldn't miss it. You're our brother. You're much more important than school."
"Thanks. My head's feeling a lot better." Carlos squeezed Tina tighter. "And yes, that is Alexa." He waved his girlfriend to come over. "This is Alexa, my girlfriend. My girlfriend, these are my siblings: my brother, Cristian, and my sisters, Cristina and Carolina."
Cris put his hand out to shake Alexa's and when she accepted he pulled her close.
"Are you a spy?" he asked.
"W-what?" she sputtered.
"When we were younger Carlos loved watching Spy Kids and he'd always imagine that you were really a spy in real life. Are you?"
"I—I—"
"Don't be ridiculous," Carlos answered with a slight laugh.

"Glad we got that settled." Kendall plopped on his bed and kicked off his shoes as Jo headed into the bathroom. He thought back to the scene he had just been a part of.
Five guests and two guest beds. Two boys: Linus Stone and Cristian Garcia. Three girls: Katie Knight, Tina Garcia, and Nina Garcia.
"I'll bunk with Kendall and Jo." Katie draped arms over the couple. The entire group stood in the second floor hallway outside the bedrooms.
"No, you won't." Kendall knocked her arm off his shoulder.
"The couch in the game room pulls out into a bed. We can put someone there," Logan offered.
"Me!" Tina, Nina, Katie, Cris, and Linus exclaimed.
"We can't put all of you there," Kendall pointed out.
"Seriously, you want to sleep on a fold out couch?" James asked mumbling something about being uncomfortable.
"Rock, paper, scissors," Carlos suggested.
Everyone grumbled but the five in need of a place to sleep agreed to participate.
"1, 2, 3, shoot!"
Cris threw paper and the rest threw rock.
"Tina, Nina, Katie, Linus, you're out. The winner is Cris," Carlos said.
"Does this mean I get the bed all to myself?"
"Uh no," Kendall butted in. "Linus will share with you." He turned to Carlos. "I don't want him sleeping with Katie and I'm sure you don't want him with Tina or Nina. No offense."
"You're right. Linus and Cris will take the game room."
"Tina and I will take this room." Nina pointed to the guest room Jo and Camille shared their last visit.
"And that leaves me in here." Katie gestured with her thumb toward the room she previously shared with her mom.
"Cris and Linus together?" Jo sat down next to Kendall after having changed into her pajamas.
"Does seem like an odd match, but it's the only thing that works unless Cris and Katie each share a bed with one of Carlos's sisters. Anyway…" Kendall pulled Jo closer to him. "I've missed you." He began kissing her neck.
"So I've heard."

"James, come sit with me," Lucy said as she made herself comfortable on her boyfriend's bed.
"Kendall called you," he stated matter-of-fact.
"How did you know?"
"Lucky guess."
"Don't be mad. He cares about you. I care about you. Does this have anything to do with what I said?"
He looked at the bedspread. It was sort of girly, but he was glad it didn't have any flowers on it. He wondered if this room was meant for Mercedes or something, but then he remembered all the beds had the same bedspread.
"It is." Lucy took James head in her hands and made him look at her. "I never meant to hurt you."
"I know."
"Tell me why it hurts."
"I don't—I don't—I don't know. You didn't mean to hurt me and I know you love me."
"I do love you."
"Right, I know that, but maybe…I'm just a stupid narcissistic (yes, I know that word. I looked it up after you called me it that one time) freak. Maybe there is something wrong with me and I do spend too much time on my appearance. I have to make the outer appearance look good because the inner appearance isn't so great."
"Aside from it being all muscles, bones, and junk I think your inside looks pretty darn good. From far away, you come off as a very confident guy," Lucy admitted.
"And that's why you're attracted to me," James sighed. "Sorry to disappoint you."
"No, you don't disappoint me. I love discovering all these layers to you. You're different than I originally thought and don't you dare say sorry because I like that." She kissed his lips and then ran her hand seductively over his whiskers. "You didn't, uh, you didn't stop shaving because you were afraid of marring the face, did you?"
"No, I just thought it was time for a change. You really like it?"
"I really do."
James grabbed Lucy's wrist and kissed the palm of her hand.
"I love you, Jay, and I'm going to make you fall in love with yourself."

Logan pulled two pieces of paper out of his notebook and showed them to Camille.
"I got a 97 on my Biology test and a 99 on my Calculus test." He pointed to the lone red mark on the page. "I would have had a 100 but I forgot one negative sign in an answer."
Camille tossed the papers away and began kissing Logan.
"My favorite little nerd."
Logan kissed her back and somehow they found themselves on his bed. He began pulling her top off and she reached for his.
"Wait," Logan sat up. "What are we doing?"
"Making out," Camille replied as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "We've done it before." She pushed Logan back down.
Logan popped back up.
"We—we—I—we," he stammered. "You—I—we—"
"You're not scared, are you?"
Logan's cheeks turned red. He didn't want to admit the truth.
"Have you ever been to second base with a girl?"
Logan choked on his own spit.
"You haven't. Well," Camille looked down at the bed, "I'm pretty inexperienced in this area as well."
"D-do you want to?"
"I don't know. We've been together, off and on, for three or four years, something like that, yeah, and well…"
"It'll take our relationship to a whole new level."
"But it's not—"
"No, not that level! You're not t-talking about that, are you?"
"No, no, unless you are."
Logan shook his head.
"We don't have to do this, you know. We can go slow," Logan suggested.
"If we move any slower we'll be going backwards." Camille giggled. "I've seen you with your shirt off and you've seen me in a bathing suit, so what's the big deal?"
"OK…" Logan took a deep breath. "On three. 1…2…"
Before he could get to three Camille lifted her shirt to her chin and then slowly brought it down again.
"Well, all right, we've, uh," Logan smiled.
"Not so bad was it?"
"Just like a bathing suit."
"I've never done this with another guy before."
"I know. As advanced as I may seem, this is new to me, too."
"And I love you for it, Logie." She kissed him on the lips.
"I love you, too, Camille." He kissed her and they back upon the bed.
You know what sucks? That Fabio wasn't in season 4. He was in season 1, 2, and 3, but not 4 (and neither was Lightning, I don't think). Darn it! OK, it doesn't really suck. I'm not a Fabio fan or anything. I just think it would have been cooler since he appeared in 1, 2, 3 to finish the job and appear in season 4.
(Being that Camille is the first girl Logan actually asked out himself I think it would be safe to say he's quite inexperienced in that area).
