To live, to breathe

A/N: I decided not to make the chapter sad as I originally planned, so it may be a bit more adventurous or as close as I can get. Due to camp, I have limited time to work and my creativity is just slowly deteriorating. Plus we're entering a new arc, I guess if you can call it that. And yes this is a time skip.

Werewolf99: Actually there will be one, but not as of now since she isn't fully developed. I haven't even thought of a name or design for her yet.

Sandy's POV

Shaking my head, I blinked twice, trying my best get the image of that castle out of my head. It's becoming frequent now, much to my annoyance. Looking towards the clock, I groaned quietly seeing as it was nearly four in the morning and I still haven't fallen asleep. Careful not to wake Shadow, I got out of bed and went into the lab. Unraveling the bandage from my arm, I hummed inquisitively as it seemingly glowed.

"So this is what you do when you can't sleep." I jumped and turned, nodding briefly quickly realizing it was Shadow's pa.

'But he's an alien, so how is he a…'

"I can change forms by meditating. Surprisingly, I feel more comfortable in this hedgehog form than my human one." He said, much to my surprise since I hadn't said a thing yet. Noticing his third eye, I concluded it stayed there no matter what form he was in.

"Um, mind tellin' me why ya came?" I asked, turning back around to start working.

"I had nothing better to do, and since the boy is sleeping I couldn't bother him like I normally do. It's still surprising how he could have offspring." He replied, coming next to me.

Ignoring that last part, I said, "That's what Shadow calls Bryce. I guess it's a family trait."

"After all your research on him, you're not shocked about anything. Tell me, were you scared?"

I shook my head, answering, "No, I actually figured some of it out. I was fascinated more than anything."

"So, you know of his transformation and what will happen if it takes complete control?" He inquired, coming next to me.

Glancing at him, I shook my head, nearly coiling the wire around my finger. "I know what it looks like; I've jus' never knew what'd happen."

He hummed in reply, later asking, "You're Russian, right?"

"Da. I mean, yes. Why?" I asked, now looking at him fully.

Crossing his arms, he answered, "Nothing, I just wanted to know a bit more about you. Well, aside from the things I gathered from watching you two. Taking into consideration you're a part of the Doom family."

Becoming slightly freaked out from that information, I cleared my throat, saying, "Shadow should be up by now."

He nodded and left, finally leaving me to work in peace. Hearing a multitude of crashing, I poked my head out then quickly retreated. That idiot, they'd better not destroy anything else. Unlocking the door, I stepped in grabbing a scroll and looking over it realizing it was older. Grabbing a more recent one, I cringed hearing someone knock.

Opening the door, I looked at Sam as he held the phone out to me. Taking it, I sent him out, only to hear frantic yelling on the other line. Later realizing it was SpongeBob, I asked, "What're ya yellin' 'bout?"

"Oh, hi Sandy! Patrick and I are having a screaming match, but I heard Squiddie talking about going to where you lived, and you left your growth serum here so Plankton is trying to overtake Bikini Bottom again." He answered, screaming then laughing.

Groaning, I answered, "I'll be there, jus' don't do anything."

Hanging up, I went into the living room only to see both of them on the floor and with their right arms missing.

"So, I'm gonna go to Bikini Bottom right quick. You two…figure somethin' out and try not to kill each other." I said walking past them before Shadow lunged at his pa.

Slipping on my suit, I plunged towards the town I barely regret calling a second home. Looking around, I saw a few crushed buildings and everyone running around, screaming. Going to where he'll most likely be, I pulled out my shrink ray seeing the Krusty Krab in the distance. Sure enough he was there, causing the mayhem he always wanted. Pointing it at him, I fired, hoping it hit him.

Hearing him scream which later turned into tiny squeaking, I chuckled and left hearing that cheapskate crab degrade him. Deciding to check on Antonio, I made my way to the dome seeing it untouched and normal. Walking in, I paused seeing him with his head down and looking seemingly distraught.

"You alright?" I asked, only to have him jump and then chuckle.

He nodded, answering, "Yes, miss. I'm fine…it's just that people from the Federal republic stopped by and told me to inform you that they needed you at Stolobny Island."

"What?"

A/N: I enjoy cliffhangers. So, the new character will not be in any chapters because she isn't fully developed and right now, she doesn't have a place in the story since it's this far. Sorry, it's so short. I have open house on the 21st, so I might not post as much. Plus I need to do my summer reading. Oh, and Mr. Pavlov's first name is Antonio, which I forgot to mention. Any questions? Review please.
