I thought you would want a fight scene in this chapter so here it is.

Fight On Mount Othrys

As soon as I had said the oath, a golden light enveloped me I could feel the poison in my leg slowing down as it circulated my body. The poison stopped travelling up my leg. My bodyguards dropped forward to just behind Luke, becoming his bodyguards.

We bound my hands with rope so it would look like I was a captive and gagged me. Atlas was waiting for us at the exit of Orthys he was wearing a silk suit. His eyes turned to me, staring. "Has he joined us?"

"Yes, General," Luke nodded.

"Good. Kronos will be pleased." The Titan said. Four Scythian dracanae approached bearing a large golden sarcophagus. I could sense that Kronos was inside it, trying to reform. Then another came towards us holding a struggling Bianca. She was also gagged and had her hands bound, her black hair was streaked with grey. My eyes widened and I started forward but Luke grabbed my shoulder and dragged me back. I stared at him in anger.

"Where are the quest members?" Luke asked trying to avoid looking at the sarcophagus.

"Near the top of the hill," Atlas replied. We watched as Zoë, Percy and Thalia rounded the top of the hill. They were looking around at all the rubble and stone, some on the floor and other parts rising to form Orthys.

"Sorry about this," Luke murmured to me and silently unsheathed his sword, Backbiter. He held it at my throat, resting the sword on my collar bone. I froze as the cold metal touched my skin. Bianca started struggling to get out of her restraints. Luke sighed and scraped my neck softly, a trickle of blood started falling down my neck. "Keep struggling and he goes to Hades." Luke threatened and Atlas' shoulders stiffened. Bianca immediately stopped and Atlas relaxed slightly.

Zoë rushed towards Artemis and tugged on the goddesses chains while Artemis protested. "It is a trap, my huntress. You must leave now."

"No, not without you," Zoë argued.

"Ah, how touching." Atlas boomed and stepped forward. They turned around and saw us standing in their way. Thalia met my eyes; she was trying to ask so many questions. On her back were my swords, it was obvious she wasn't used to the weight settled on her back as she kept shifting constantly. Or maybe that was her ADHD?

"Luke!" Thalia growled, "Let him go!"

Luke smiled warmly though he looked really weak and pale. "I am sorry; I can't do that, Thalia. It is the Generals decision. But it is good to see you again, Thalia."

"I wish I could say the same." Thalia spat at Luke.

The General chuckled and I could tell he was related to Kronos; I had heard Kronos laugh too many times, "So much for old friends! Zoë, it's good to see you. It's been a long time. How is my little traitor? I will enjoy getting revenge."

"Do not respond to him," Artemis groaned. "Do not challenge him!"

"Wait a second," Perseus interrupted, "You're Atlas, the General of the Titan's army?"

Atlas looked at Percy and inspected him. "It seems even the stupidest of heroes can figure something out. Yes, son of Poseidon, I am Atlas, The General of the Titan's army and terror of Olympus. Congratulations, I will kill you after I deal with this." He gestured to Zoë.

"You won't hurt her. I won't let you." He said stubbornly and uncapped riptide, the celestial bronze sword sprang to full length in his hands.

"You have no right to interfere with this, little half-blood. This is a family matter."

Percy hesitated, "A family matter?"

"Yes," Zoë said quietly. "Atlas is my father." Percy looked shocked; he lowered his sword and looked from Zoë to Atlas. "Let Artemis go!" Zoë demanded.

Atlas walked closer to the chained goddess. "Would you like to take the sky for her? It's your choice." Zoë opened her mouth to agree but Artemis quickly ordered her not to. Atlas knelt beside Artemis and stroked her face, quickly moving his fingers when Artemis tried to bite him. Atlas chuckled and stood. "You see, Zoë? Artemis likes her job! I have decided to have all the Olympians take turns carrying the sky."

"Why can't Lady Artemis let go of the sky?" Percy asked.

"You understand very little, young hero. Ouranos and Gaia first brought forth us, the Titans here. The sky still tries to reach out to the earth. Someone must stop them; else the area within a hundred leagues will be crushed completely. Once you hold the sky there is no way out unless someone takes it from you." Luke slipped something into my pocket at Atlas was speaking. Whatever it was, it was cold. I could feel it resting at the bottom of my pocket. He walked away from us and studied the two children of the big three. "These are the best heroes of this newest age? You aren't much of a challenge."

"Fight us, and then we'll see." Perseus suggested.

"The gods have taught you nothing. Immortals never fight a mortal directly. I will have Luke fight you instead."

"So you're another coward," Percy stated holding the Titans gaze.

Atlas glared at the son of Poseidon, his eyes glowing. With difficulty he turned to look at Thalia.

"Daughter of Zeus," Atlas mused, "It seems Luke was wrong about you."

"No, I wasn't wrong." Luke spoke from beside me. "Thalia, it's not too late, you can still join us. Call the Ophiotaurus. It will come to you, look!" He waved the hand that wasn't holding a sword to my throat and a pool of water ringed with black marble appeared.

I began to hear something mooing and could tell Percy was too; his hands were clenched as they held Riptide.

"Thalia, call the Ophiotaurus. You will have more power than the gods." Luke insisted.

"Luke… What has happened to you? You've changed so much." Thalia's voice was full of pain as she saw the half-blood he used to be when they were on the run in her mind.

"I have acted. Don't you remember when we talked, when we cursed the gods? You know they have done nothing, why do you still fight for them?"

Thalia looked at me as Luke held me at sword point and seemed to find more resolve. "Free Seth and Bianca; let them go."

"I will, if you join me. It can be like old times. The three of us like old times. Fighting for a world in which we control our own lives. Thalia… please, this is my last chance! He will use the other way if you don't join us." Luke had a lot of fear in his voice; I believed he was in a lot of danger, his line on the line. I knew Thalia thought that too."

"Do not, Thalia." Zoë said sharply, "We must fight them!"

Luke waved his free hand again and a sacrificial flame like the one at camp appeared.

"Thalia," Percy immediately reacted. "No, don't."

Behind us the golden sarcophagus began to glow. Around us in the mist Othrys began to raise, black marble walls rising.

"We will raise the Black Fortress right here," Luke promised, his eyes gleaming in the mist. "As it once was, Mount Othrys and the Titans will be stronger and far greater than Olympus. We are not weak, Thalia." The son of Hermes pointed towards the ocean. Marching up the mountain from a ship docked, was a giant army. Many monsters could be seen among the half-bloods: Dracaenae, Laestrygonians, hell hounds, harpies and Empousa. There were hundreds of monsters marching towards us. "There are many more to come. Soon we will invade Camp Half-Blood, then Olympus. We just need your help, Thalia."

Thalia looked at us, pain marring her expression. "I don't know you anymore, Luke. You aren't the son of Hermes I once knew." The daughter of Zeus levelled her spear at us.

"You do know me, Thalia. Don't make him destroy you. Please."

Thalia shook her head and the three questers looked at each other, she met my eyes and I stared back evenly, not breaking contact.

"Now," Perseus said.

Immediately the Dracaenae holding Bianca imploded into golden dust. A split short second later so did one of the Dracaenae holding Kronos' sarcophagus. The sarcophagus fell and crushed the other three monsters holding it up. Thalia charged straight at me and Luke. Castellan shoved me to the side and ran to meet her, where Backbiter met Aegis a large ball of lightning erupted between them.

Percy ran straight at Atlas. The Titan laughed and in his hand formed a javelin, his silk suit changed into a full set of Greek battle armour. "Go on, then, son of Poseidon!"

"Percy!" Zoë yelled, "Beware." She had her bow out and was aiming down the shaft at Atlas. I struggled to stand up amid all the chaos.

"Fool!" Atlas swatted aside Zoë's arrows. "Just because you could stand up to the weak war god, does not mean you can do the same to me."

Not far from me, Annabeth shimmered into existence and hacked through the rope binding Bianca's hands; she then ran to me and cut through mine. I thanked her and rose, running over to Bianca who was frozen and looking with wide eyes around us.

"Hide until this is over, Bianca. Please. Do not get hurt." I murmured as I passed her on my way to Thalia. Luke saw me coming and pressed his attack on Thalia. I carefully gripped the hilts of my swords and pulled them out of the sheath. The familiar weight made me feel comfortable as my deadly black blades extended from the hilts. I readied myself to fight, trying to take as long as possible when I heard a yell. I looked back towards Atlas and saw Zoë between him and Percy, the demigod was lying on the ground in front of Artemis who still struggled with the sky.

Everything moved quickly. Percy held the sky with Artemis briefly as Atlas turned to his daughter. The goddess took the chance and slipped out from under the burden, joining the fight against the Titan. I made up my mind and charged Atlas with my swords raised. He turned at the last moment and knocked away my weapons. His eyes narrowed and I grinned slightly. Artemis attacked him again and the Titan Lord was forced to turn away from me to block her rapid strikes. I hung back and waited for another chance to attack him.

Thalia and Luke were still fighting, spear and sword clashing and lightning flashing around them. Thalia's eyes were slightly red as she fought the boy she used to fight with.

"Yield, Luke!" Thalia ordered, "You could never and will never beat me."

"We'll see, my friend. We'll see." Luke snarled.

Artemis backed away towards where Percy was still holding the sky as Atlas pressed his attack. He swung his javelin down and it slammed into the earth where Artemis had just been. A fissure opened in the rocks, the Titan jumped over it and continued pursuing the goddess. I followed them and almost fell down the hole. I quickly charged the Titan from behind and swung my katana, Enhance, following through with my gold tinted blade, Destruction. Atlas knocked Artemis away and turned to block my attack. He growled and stabbed. I tried to parry away the attack but his strength ripped Enhance straight out of my hand, the javelin continued through its path and went through my chest. I felt a tugging on my armour behind me as the javelin emerged behind. I dropped Destruction as I staggered back. Atlas looked at me sorrowfully as if he truly regretted what he had just done. His face hardened as he pulled the javelin back out then gripped the end of it and swung the weapon like a baseball bat. The shaft hit my stomach and I was sent flying back into a rock. I lay there, looking through blurry eyes as Atlas feinted and tripped Artemis up. I struggled to stand as he stood above the goddess with his javelin raised and ready to kill her.

"No!" Zoë yelled and jumped in the way, releasing a volley of arrows at the Titan. One stuck out of his forehead like a horn. Atlas roared in anger and backhanded his daughter away. Zoë landed near me and I crawled over to her. Luckily, Atlas had not hit any vital organs so I wasn't coughing up blood, though I was in a lot of pain. Atlas roared again and suddenly started spouting curses at us. I looked up to see the Titan under his burden again. Luke was backed up against the edge of the cliff but still fought Thalia. I concentrated on the sacrificial flame that was still burning strongly and slowly made my way over to it, wincing whenever I crawled over a rock and it became stuck to the edge of the gaping hole in my chest. I stuck my hand in the fire and felt energy come back to me. I then turned my attention to the pool of water and controlled it to flow through the hole to clear it out, my hand still in the fire. I stood up as the hole slowly sealed itself to see Luke with no weapon facing a trembling Thalia. Annabeth and Thalia were arguing. I stumbled over there, slightly speeding up until I was jogging slowly. It happened quickly.

Luke lunged for Thalia's spear and she didn't hesitate as she knocked him back, and over the cliff.

"Luke!" Annabeth screamed. I leaned over the edge to see Luke falling towards the black rocks and manipulated them to soften so he wouldn't die.

A giant looked up and growled, "Kill them all!" Thalia and Annabeth were crying with grief as they watched the son of Hermes lying on the rocks. I pushed them away from the edge with a gust of wind as arrows and javelins soared over our heads. We ran to Artemis, I glanced at Atlas as he threatened and cursed us.

"Artemis!" Percy yelled. The Olympian goddess looked up, Zoë held in her arms.

"The wound is poisoned."

"Atlas poisoned her?" Percy asked.

"No. Not Atlas, Ladon." Artemis showed us the wound in Zoë's side. I didn't know that Ladon had bitten her, but now I respected the dying daughter of Atlas even more. She had fought her father with a wound already taking her strength.

"I cannot see the stars, Lady Artemis." Zoë muttered as she looked up.

"Nectar and Ambrosia, come on! We need to get her some." Percy yelled. His voice echoed around us amid the silence and none of us moved.

"It will not work, Percy. Not even the food or drink of the gods can save her now." I murmured.

Kronos' army was reaching the top of the mountain when there was a strange buzzing noise. A plane swooped down from the sky and celestial bronze bullets were fired down into the monster army. "Get away from my daughter!" A man yelled from the pilot's seat.

"Dad?" Annabeth shouted.

"Run!" Dr Chase called back.

"A brave man." Artemis said looking at the plane as it came in for another pass. "Come. We must get Zoë away from here." She raised her hunting horn to her lips and the sound echoes around, loud and clear.

"Hang in there!" Percy muttered "It'll be all right, Zoë!"

Dr Chase destroyed the first wave of monsters. "That's my dad!" Annabeth said in amazement. A silver chariot approached from the moonlight and landed beside us, pulled by beautiful deer.

"Get in," Artemis said. Annabeth helped Thalia on board and I helped Percy Artemis with Zoë. My short energy burst was wearing off and I felt like I was about to collapse. We wrapped Zoë in a blanket to try to keep her warm. I fell asleep a few seconds after I laid my head against the back of the chariot, still feeling the wound in my chest hurt. Dr Chase turned and protected us like an honour guard as Artemis drove her chariot through the night sky.

that was 2699 words. My longest chapter in this story yet!

Poll:

Theron - 4

Aigeus - 3

Please review who you think Seth should be paired with. It can be anyone not in a relationship in canon as I'd hate to break them up.

It can be Athena / Artemis, to Thalia / a mortal in canon, to Metis / even Styx. It could be an OC as long as they are detailed in their personality and background. Any one at all, its your choice.
