XxHowToSaveALife - you are correct about Fos, but i won't tell you which of the three beings you listed he is. With all the clues i have left in the story you should be able to narrow it down. I have my own plans for Bianca in my story so this definitely is not the last we will be seeing of her. Why did you think Phoebe was dead? If you say who you want in Seth's same sex relationship i will put down your vote for him. Could you send we everything about Hayley and Aveline? Then i could put them on my profile so my readers could look at it and see if they want to vote for them.

Thanks for reviewing twice!

The Arena Of Antaeus - Chapter 21

Nico stayed at the Ranch for another night, hoping Seth would climb out of the Labyrinth and that his dream wasn't real. His brother had acted like Luke was an old friend of his. Nico didn't like it. Firstly, Seth was fighting for his life in an arena. Secondly, Nico had no clue where he was.

Eurytion offered to contact Hades and tell him what had happened, but Nico refused thinking that this was his first mission and he had to prove himself to his father.

So, around midday Nico descended into the Labyrinth again, this time alone. He trusted that Seth would manage to escape the Titans and tried to hone in on Minos. The Labyrinth tried to confuse him but he was ready for it and stayed focused on his goal of finding the ghost. Nico was warily trying to find Minos and Seth when he felt the ground shake. His senses started working in overdrive and he cautiously glanced around in time to see an arrow flying at his leg. He jumped out of the way and readied his sword as an empousa approached from the shadows. Behind her was a familiar ghost.

"Minos," Nico growled, "I was looking for you."

"I know, son of Hades," The ghost replied, "We were looking for you too."

"Hades has ordered for you to be bought to him." Nico gripped his sword and settled into a better stance.

"And I was looking for you. The Titans will pay handsomely if I bring you to them."

Nico felt slight fear but shoved it down. "How did you know we were looking for you?"

Minos and chuckled and gestured to the empousa she bared her teeth and hissed at Nico.

Percy slowly walked into an arena, trying to stop the dracaenae from prodding him in the back again and caught his breath. It wasn't the biggest arena he'd ever seen, but it was probably one of the most spacious. Around the edge, standing and sitting in the stands were hundreds of monsters all cheering on a fight in the middle between a giant and a centaur.

On the side of the spectators' wall was a green banner with the trident of Poseidon in the centre. Above the banner sitting in a seat of honour was someone familiar to every one of the demigods.

"Luke," Percy murmured. Luke smiled coldly at the son of Poseidon. To his right was a giant. He wore nothing but a loincloth and had dark red skin which was tattooed with wave designs.

There was a cry and Percy jumped back as the centaur fell to the ground beside him.

"Help!"

Percy reached for Riptide only to remember that it had been taken and wouldn't have reappeared in his pocket yet. He scowled and watched sadly as the giant put his foot on the centaur's chest and looked up at the stands. Percy followed the giant's gaze and froze in shock at who stood behind Luke to his left.

"Death! Death!" Percy was distracted by the monster's chants and looked at the giant beside Luke. The giant took a few seconds before he curled his hand into a 'thumbs down' gesture. Percy looked away as the giant stabbed the centaur. When he looked back there was a single hoof which the giant raised above his head as a trophy and all the monsters cheered. A gate opened on the other side of the arena and the giant marched out.

"Good entertainment! But nothing I haven't seen before. What else do you have, Luke, son of Hermes?" The red skinned guy asked.

Luke seemed to be in a good mood Percy thought as the traitor rose. "Lord Antaeus, you have been an excellent host! We are happy to amuse you, to repay your favour of allowing us to pass through this arena, your territory."

"I am not yet amused. I shall allow you to pass when I have entertainment!" Antaeus growled, "The son of Hades made me almost give you passage, but I have seen no other good fights. Only when I do have my entertainment shall you pass."

Percy looked at Annabeth in shock; she looked worriedly back at him and Rachel shifted slightly, Kelli the empousa hissed at her.

"I believe I have something better than centaurs to fight in your honour now. A brother of yours, meet Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon." The crowd started jeering but Luke continued, "And Percy, if you win I shall give you back a friend."

Percy barely heard the last part as he was busy trying to dodge stones thrown at him, he avoided most of them but one caught him in the stomach and another on the cheek which gave him a small cut.

"A son of Poseidon?" Antaeus looked interested, "Then he should fight well, or die well."

"If his death pleases you, will you let our armies cross your territory?" Luke asked.

"Perhaps!"

Luke frowned and looked behind him at the person in the shadows who turned to the giant and talked to him in hushed whispers.

"I will let you through, Castellan. If his win or death pleases me," Antaeus hurriedly corrected. The person seemed to be satisfied and leaned backwards. Percy was confused as he was sure that person was Seth, but why was he talking to the giant?

"Luke!" Annabeth yelled, "Stop this now, let us go!"

"Annabeth?" Luke asked, apparently stunned.

"Do not worry, the females can fight afterwards. There is enough time for everyone. First, Percy Jackson, what weapons will you choose?"

The dracaenae shoved Percy into the middle of the arena and he looked up at Antaeus. "How can you be a son of Poseidon?"

Antaeus and the monster crowd laughed. "I am his favourite son," He boasted, "Look, gaze upon my temple to the Stormbringer, the Earthshaker, built from the skulls of the hundreds of people I have killed in his name! Your skull shall soon join them!"

Percy stared at all the skulls, thinking that Poseidon would have never wanted this.

"Percy! His mother is Gaia! Gai-" Annabeth was cut off as the Laistrygonian giant holding her held his hand over her mouth.

Percy thought about what she had said, she must have thought it was important to tell him but he didn't know why. Maybe since he had two godly parents he would be harder to kill.

"You're crazy, Antaeus. If you think this is a good tribute, you know nothing about Poseidon!" Percy spat.

The crowd started screaming at him but Antaeus raised his hands for silence. "Weapons, and then we will see how you fight. What will you choose?"

"Just my sword, thanks," Percy said. The monsters started laughing, thinking he was mad but then Percy un-capped Riptide and they were immediately silent.

"Round One!" Antaeus announced as the gates opened. Percy raised his eyebrow as a dracaenae entered the arena. He settled into a comfortable stance and readied himself for the fight.
