I realized that i haven't been doing a disclaimer, so:

I do not in any way, shape or form own anything except Seth in this story. I am not Rick Riordan, mainly because i do not leave - many - cliffhangers.

The Battle Of The Labyrinth - chapter 25

Seth ran towards Daedalus, unsheathing his swords as he went.

"Why are you still here?" Daedalus asked as he stabbed and killed the giant.

"Your appreciation for me is astonishing," Seth muttered, "Incoming!" A swarm of arrows pierced the veil of fire Seth had created, the two of them ducked behind an overturned table. "So, do you want to go first?"

"You can." Daedalus shrugged.

"Thanks."

"You're welcome." Daedalus laughed. Seth sighed but vaulted over the table, his cloak was immediately pierced by arrows. He raised his hand and forced the arrows to turn around using the air currents. Jumping through the fire he collided with the first wave of monsters after the arrows stopped their advance. Piles of monster dust marked where Seth had been. As soon as Daedalus stopped hearing arrows shattering against the table he followed Seth into the fray with Mrs. O'Leary swatting aside several monsters at a time. A blast of fire cut in front of Daedalus, only just not scorching his top. The inventor was wary of the Greek fire approaching his back and started to charge through the monsters so he wasn't penned against it.

They fought for what seemed like hours as they tried to get through the monsters, Seth seemed to be in no hurry and was barrelling through the monsters, destroying as many as possible. Daedalus sometimes caught a look at him when he turned to face Daedalus. Seth's blind eye occasionally flashed red and a blood red ring was around his pupil. The pupil was an oval, almost reptilian in shape. Then Daedalus blinked and his eye was back to normal. Seth eventually reached the other side of the monsters and looked back, they were completely blocking the corridor and there was golden dust everywhere, on the walls and covering the floor.

"Seth!" Daedalus yelled over the fighting, "Are you at the other side yet?" Seth sighed and stomped his foot, shaking the corridor and making all the monsters fall. He saw Daedalus as he stood up and started making his way towards Seth who stepped into the darkness, reappearing out of the automation's shadow.

Daedalus turned, intending to relieve Seth of his head but Seth quickly blocked the cut. "What are you trying to do?" Seth exclaimed. "Take my head off?"

"It's not my fault you snuck up on me!" Daedalus defended. Seth mockingly shook his head and grabbed Daedalus, pulling him into his own shadow.

"That never gets any better." Daedalus stated. Seth was leaning against the wall as he was feeling the effects of using his powers too much. His right leg stung where it had been shot and poisoned in the quest to rescue Artemis. Daedalus wordlessly offered him a piece of Ambrosia which Seth gladly accepted – he had recently been able to feel the healing effects of the food of the gods. His energy quickly returned to him and Seth summoned some spirits to help them escape, he saw Theseus, Perseus, and Orion fighting side-by-side. Daedalus whistled for Mrs. O'Leary and the three started sprinting away from the small section of Kronos' army.

Seth led the way with one hand alight, casting eerie shadows across the stones around them. Although he didn't particularly like Daedalus, he knew that the inventor was a good warrior and the army would stop at nothing to kill him. They didn't want to harm Seth since he was helping them so Seth had used that to his advantage and was much more reckless than he usually was when fighting, which was almost impossible.

Seth flung his arm out to the side and stopped Daedalus from moving forward, he had seen something move down the corridor. He placed his hand on the wall and fire quickly moved, covering both of the walls and illuminating the entire area. Seth took one look at the lumbering shape and decided it was a monster, he took out a knife and aimed carefully only to have Daedalus hold his hand so he couldn't throw.

"Who are you?" The Inventor called.

"My name is Briares. I am the last Hekatonkheire left alive – my brothers faded."

Seth looked at the giant in shock. "Sorry I tried to throw a knife at you."

"Where are you going, Briares." Daedalus asked.

"I heard of the battle that will be going on at that Camp for Demigods and thought I should join them." Briares replied. Seth looked at Daedalus and he understood immediately, Seth wanted him to help. Daedalus did feel guilty.

"Fine, Seth. I will go too." Daedalus scowled. "Lead the way." He gestured around the corridor. Seth grinned triumphantly and looked at the now visible trail of glowing mist on the floor.

"Think you can keep up," he grinned, "Old man."

"I am an automation, Seth. My body is in its prime. I think the question is if you can keep up."

"Maybe, but I actually know the way." Seth laughed.

"Then why aren't you moving?" Daedalus asked.

"Children of Athena, always have to have the last word." Seth muttered under his breath as he started running. Daedalus, Mrs. O'Leary and Briares matched his pace. There were lots of twists and turns but Seth didn't make a single mistake or wrong turn.

He knew that the survival of the demigods' likely relied upon the four reaching Camp before the end of the battle. Seth may not like the gods very much as they just sit on their thrones in Olympus all high and mighty whilst the world crumbles around them. He saw first-hand the change from the Second World War to now in 2008 and the gods had done nothing in that space of time. They treated demigods like tools that could be thrown away after use. The Titans weren't perfect but Seth knew they cared for their family that stood by them. They valued loyalty and strength above many other things and looked down on traitors.

"How close are we?" Briares asked.

"Another few minutes," Seth said conscious that a minute in the Labyrinth was about an hour on the surface.

Eventually the light became so bright he could barely look at it. Tremors rocked the Labyrinth and swords clashing together nearly destroyed his eardrums. Monsters' shrieks echoed around the corridors. Seth looked at his three companions as he grasped his swords. They all had the same mask of determination etched into their faces. Yet he could see they were all nervous: Briares' hundred hands were waving madly about, Mrs. O'Leary's ears were twitching, and Daedalus was clenching then loosening his grip on his sword.

"So, do I have to say a speech or something?" Seth asked he was a fan on one-on-one fighting, where you didn't have to watch your back.

"There are four of us." Daedalus deadpanned.

"I'll take that as a 'yes'." Seth said seriously and his three companions rolled their eyes. "This is it! The fight for freedom begins here. The war starts here and our enemies will regret ever deciding to attack! We are the last hope, the last line of defence for Camp Half-Blood. We will look back on this day when we tell our descendants how we fought. We fight to defend what is right!"

"That was a reasonable speech." Daedalus said.

"It was terrible," disagreed Briares. Seth shrugged and charged into the back of the monster army, hacking at any thing he could see.

This is for any Teen Wolf fans reading my story. I have come up with a new idea that i think will be quite good, it is a Teen Wolf, Percy Jackson crossover:

Zoe finds herself thrust into a world of gods, Titans and monsters when she escapes her orphanage. She finds it difficult to follow in the footsteps of her father when she is attacked and receives an injury that will stay with her forever and tarnish her family name. Can Zoe prove that she deserves the surname 'Jackson' and save the world at the same time with her brother, Luke and sort out her feelings she has for two friends?

Tell me what you think.

Seth's relationship poll:

Styx - 2

Thalia - 2

Artemis - 2

Zoe - 1

Rachel - 1

Hayley - 1

Aveline Poole - 1

Orion - 1

Please vote in a review for Seth's relationship (Aveline and Orion are now on my profile)

At first i was cautious about putting in a guy but i think it will be interesting.

I have probably 1 more chapter left in Battle of The Labyrinth

Then maybe 8-12 in The Last Olympian.

I need to know who to pair Seth up with.

I am accepting: Titanesses, Goddesses, and any mortals.

I NEED SOME MORE REVIEWS. WHEN ONE CHARACTER REACHES... 5 VOTES THEY WILL BE PAIRED WITH SETH
