Rumor has it that power couple Draco Malfoy and Samantha Black have taken the next step in their relationship, inside sources have confirmed that the down-to-earth-diva and business tycoon have bought a house just outside of London with, wait for it, extra bedroom that would be "perfect for a nursery" I don't know about you but this reporter will be looking for a ring or a baby bump soon!

"What a load of rubbish." Pansy grumbled throwing the trash magazine across her room. She had sent her researcher to Egypt. Legends in the curse breaker community said that it was the Egyptian's who invented the first Marriage bind. The hope was that if they started from the beginning they would find the best way to break the curse that was holding Draco to the slag.

She had yet to hear word however, and she was getting antsy. Perhaps in the mean time, she should start to alleviate the image of the happy couple the press was putting out. It was gag worthy and it would certainly make the waiting easier if she could watch Black burn in the press.

"You're not pregnant, right?" Sirius asked Sam when she went to drop off Ted.

"Really Dad? You're seriously reading into the tripe gossip written by the same people who insisted that you were a murderer. I'm a little ashamed I have to say."

"You didn't actually answer my question."

"NO, I'm NOT PREGNANT!" she shouted exasperatedly "Honestly, what the hell is wrong with you?"

"I was only asking." Sirius put his arms up in surrender as Sam grabbed the magazine from him. "You know, it was the same gossip rag that informed me of my daughters relationship with a certain death eater"

"Ex-death eater, when he was 17, young and without options. We are all allowed to make a few mistakes in our lives dad."

"Yes we are, I am simply saying that that boy is pushing up against the limit of mistakes and getting you pregnant would have been cause for bodily harm."

"Alright then. I will be sure to let him know." Sam gave Sirius a kiss on the cheek. "On that note I am off. Stop reading Reeta Skeeter!"

she took the magazine with her as she stepped into the fire place, "I make no promises." Sirius retaliated watching her be engulfed in flames.

"Uncle Sirius, Sami's not gonna have a baby right?" Ted pulled on Sirius' leg his hair light blue and eyes as big as saucers.

"No buddy, at least not for a long time. How about a game of snap?"

Ted nodded and allowed Sirius to lead him to the drawing room. But in the back of his head he could not help but think about his Sami having a kid.

"So…we are moving." Draco and Samantha were sitting at dinner a couple days later and it hit Samantha that, holy shit she is moving in with Draco Malfoy.

"Yes." Draco said without looking up from his report.

"We are moving in together, to a house, our house…you know, together"

Draco sighed placing the report on the table and giving Samantha an exasperated look, "Well dear, would you like to talk about that?" he asked sarcastically, Sam chose to ignore the tone.

"Yup." She said moving to the seat next to him pushing his folder out of reach. "This is a big step. This makes the relationship real, I mean we are going to be living together."

"Samantha, I am not sure where you have been, but we live together now."

"Technically we don't…"

"No, technically we do. You moved in a while ago, you sleep here, eat here, keep your things here. You live here."

"I stay here. It's not mine, it's yours. We've had this discussion already. My point is that we are going to be living in OUR house. Which means we are going to have to discuss some things."

"Like what?" Draco really did not understand women logic. They were going to do exactly what they were doing now but somewhere else, why was this such a big deal?

"Well first off packing, what's our plan do we have a timeline to be out of here, are you going to be responsible for your stuff and I my stuff?"

"There is a service for that, I will have Mary call them to bring our stuff over they could have it done in a day." He made to reach for his folder but she moved it away.

"Well what about decorating? We need to pick furniture, and décor, and I don't know carpets and such, what color towels are we going to have in our bathroom?"

"We have all that stuff, we are just moving the stuff from here to the other house. There are people whose job it is to paint we'll hire them and tell them the colours."

"I hate to break it to you Drake but we are not keeping all of this stuff."

Draco had been reaching for his file again but paused at that. "What do you mean, of course we are."

"Drake, darling. We are moving into OUR house, which means my stuff is coming too. We are going to have to decide what stays and what goes."

Draco had a feeling that if he didn't tread lightly this discussion could take an ugly turn. He figured he'd go with the diplomatic approach attempt to reason with Samantha using logic.

"Samantha, your furniture and belongings fit in your flat and they were fine for that space, but now you are moving in with me, we don't need your stuff we have the highest quality here." Draco tried diplomatically

"Besides, you're so busy there's no reason for you to concern yourself with such things."

"Excuse me? No need to concern myself, I will concern myself with what I want thank you very much. I say this is something to be discussed so discuss it with me."

"You're the most unpredictable, unorganized, most volatile woman I have ever met you know. I honest never know what will set you off."

"Well a good hint is for you to just agree with me and not say anything stupid and then I won't get upset."

"Fine. Do whatever you want with the damn furniture. You're in charge, I don't care."

"Fine!"

"Fine."

The next day, after much deliberation and personal meditation (AKA she talked to Ginny over a bottle of wine at lunch) Samantha came to a decision that they were moving tomorrow. She arranged for the movers to come in move all their stuff, Drake acknowledged this decision with a grunt and Sam took the day off work to coordinate everything.

The problem arose when she could not decide what she wanted from her apartment versus from Draco's house and it was frustrating because in all honesty she hates this kind of stuff and in her opinion, Draco Malfoy should be there.

Draco walked into their new house that evening, exhausted. Work was stressful and the git's at the ministry were dragging out their review process that delayed other deals from coming in. He had spent the entire day in meetings and he was not at all prepared or inclined to be bamboozled by Samantha tonight.

His game plan was just to agree with all of her decisions and he'd live with whatever mixed matched furniture she had decided to go with.

Does it really matter anyway?

However, what he found when he walked in to their new home was a problem of another nature.

She did say the move was today right? Draco thought to himself placing his briefcase and overcoat on the floor by the door before continuing further into the house.

Nothing, he found nothing. Maybe he had gotten the dates wrong, maybe Samantha was sitting back at his flat wondering where he was. He was about to head back towards the door when he caught sight of a light on in the kitchen. He made a quick work of the distance to the doorway.

And there she was. In ripped jeans and her hair up in a messy ponytail. She had her shoes off and was sitting on the Kitchen counter because much like the rest of the house, there was no furniture to be seen. She had a bottle of wine in one hand and a tub of ben & jerry's sitting beside her.

She was gorgeous.

"So, were we robbed?" Draco asked leaning up against the doorframe.

Samantha looked up at the doorway showing that she was spooked only for a second before her face fixed itself into a mask of nonchalance.

"Nope"

"The movers had the wrong day?" He tried again, moving further into the room.

"Nope"

He moved to stand next to the counter, his face slightly above her eye level so she had to look up at him when he spoke again.

"Are you going to share with the class?"

She handed him her spoon and shifted on the counter giving him room to lean against it as he took a scoop of ice cream.

"I didn't like it. So I got rid of some stuff."

In a different time, before Samantha had come and destroyed all semblance of normalcy in his life, this kind of thing would have upset Draco. He had learned however, to be patient while dealing with Sam's more impulsive tendencies.

"What did you get rid of?" Draco asked calmly taking another scoop of ice cream.

"All of it."

This got Draco's attention. "ALL of it?" he asked looking at her incredulously, "All of our furniture is gone?"

"Pretty much." Sam replied taking a long sip of wine from the bottle.

"Why did you think that was a good idea?"

"Well I can't say that I really gave much thought to the decision. It was more of an in the moment idea."

"I'll need some of that wine." Was Draco's response trading the Ben & Jerry's for the Croft Porto.

"You're plan now is?" Draco asked after taking a generous gulp.

"I'm going to start over. Decorate this how I want it, how we want it. I figure this isn't like I'm moving in with a boyfriend who I'll breakup with in three months. I realized today as I was emptying out my flat that I will never go back to live there. Like it or not Drake, you're stuck with me for the long-haul so we better like the carpets."

Draco took a moment to really appreciate the woman Samantha was. Sitting on the counter top, her bare feet dangling, her hair tied up in a messy bun, ice cream in her hand and pointing out that they would be stuck together for the rest of their lives. Draco was not a sap nor a romantic, but Merlin knows that in that moment he was completely content to being in this house with this woman forever.

With that thought in mind he angled his head back, placing his hand on her cheek and pulled her into a smoldering kiss.

"We could change the carpets anytime you know. Things can change." Never had such a simple phrase held so much weight Draco realized as Sam bent down to give him a peck on the lips.

"Things most definitely can." She said with a grin before she launched on him.

"At least tell me you kept the bed." Draco choked out when they both surfaced for air.

"Oh but Mr. Malfoy, we have a whole house to break-in before we make it up stairs."

Narcissa entered the parlor room where Pansy sat sipping a cup of tea and looking far more smug than Narcissa had ever seen the younger witch.

"I take it you bring good news." Narcissa questioned raising her perfectly arched eyebrow as she took the seat across from the dark haired woman.

"I do. There is a Warlock in Egypt who has seen these spells broken before using ancient rituals. I have someone looking into it now."

"Very good. I look forward to bringing you into the family Miss Parkinson."

"I look forward to being the next Mrs. Malfoy, Mrs. Malfoy." She raised her tea cup to her lips, already running through the ways she would put that last name to use.

"I never thought this would have been an issue for my Draco. But I suppose things will be changing quickly around here."
