New chapter, on time! What is happening? Yup it's a new chapter for you, dear reader, enjoy!
AntVenom gasped in shock, then hurriedly bowed low in reverence to the god.
"Your Majesty, it is a great honor to be graced by your presence." AntVenom obviously respected Notch, unlike his younger brother, Herobrine.
"Arise, Hero of Minecraftia, you do not have to bow. And just call me Notch, I find no need for formality among friends." The god spoke in a deep voice, with a strong accent which wasn't Minecraftian but still understandable. Ant stood up,
"Thank you, Your Ma-Notch" Notch smiled at the human's mistake, showing Ant that he was a benevolent god quite unlike his brother.
"I have some unfortunate news to tell you about your friend, the half-blood Prince CaptainSparklez."
"What's wrong? Is he hurt?" AntVenom blurted out, interrupting the kind god.
"As you may know," Notch continued as if he hasn't been interrupted, "he is the son of my late brother, Herobrine. Herobrine was always very powerful and since his death, most of his power has been passed on to CaptainSparklez. The reason you might not have noticed a difference is because he, like his father, is much weaker in the Overworld. I fear that if young Sparklez returns to the Nether, he might feel the call of the throne too strongly to resist. To put it bluntly, CaptainSparklez has the potential to destroy the world."
AntVenom stared in shock at the kind god, his mouth agape.
"But-But Sparklez wouldn't do that! He's my friend..." Ant finished a bit weakly.
Notch solemnly regarded the dark-haired man,
"And Herobrine was my brother." Ant had no response to that. "But my brother was evil and you did what I didn't have the strength to," Notch continued. "So now I need to remind you that your duty as a Minecraftian is first to the safety of others whom may be placed in harm by your decisions." Ant didn't respond, thinking it wouldn't be very tactful to point out that Notch had not followed his own rule. The god kept talking in his unique voice, "I need you to make sure Minecraftia is safe, for I cannot help this world the way I used to. Will you do this for me, AntVenom, Hero of Minecraftia?" AntVenom answered quickly, and he meant the words he said with all his heart.
"It would be my honor to do whatever I can to make sure Minecraftia is safe. But I don't think you need to worry, I'd trust CaptainSparklez with my life, and I have done so many times. I will not fail you, Notch."
"Good," Notch's face broke into a smile of relief, "now I must go, young hero, and you must sleep." With those words Ant felt himself slipping away as he woke up. He opened his eyes and blinked a few times, thinking about what had just happened to him.
"Look who's finally awake," a cheery female voice woke Ant from his thoughts. He looked up and saw GrailMore, her beautiful blue eyes shining. "You seemed so peaceful so I decided to let you sleep in, and I made you some fried eggs for breakfast." GrailMore gave the plate of eggs she had to Ant who exclaimed,
"You're the best Grail! I'm glad you let me sleep because I had one interesting dream. I'll tell you about it as I eat..."
Meanwhile at Sparky's house
Dawn lay asleep on the Nether Prince, snoring softly. CaptainSparklez smiled fondly down at his girlfriend, feeling that he was finally completed accepted in his new home, the Overworld. A small noise broke Sparklez from his thoughts as Dawn woke up. She seemed surprised to wake up on Sparklez's couch but mumbled a greeting to her boyfriend.
"Mornin' Sparky."
"Hello sleepyhead, I was wondering when you'd wake up."
"Yeah, hey I have to use the restroom."
"Go ahead, you know where it is." Dawn nodded and got up slowly, she went into Sparklez's bathroom. The son of Herobrine stretched and yawned loudly before walking to his kitchen. The blue-eyed demigod ran his fingers through his messy black hair and fixed his red shades which had been sitting a bit crookedly on his face. Dawn walked into the kitchen as Sparklez was putting some bacon in his single furnace, just about the only food he knew how to make.
"Sparklez I think we need to talk," Dawn said in a voice that was strangely serious compared to her normal carefree tone.
"About what?" Sparklez replied in a neutral tone.
"About us." Sparklez stopped what he was doing and turned to face Dawnables.
"What do you mean Dawn? Is something wrong with our relationship?"
"Yes, I think we have too many differences to keep this up. You being from the Nether and all."
Sparklez was well and truly shocked and all he could say was,
"Are you breaking up with me?"
"Yes I am," the pink and purple haired girl replied simply, "And frankly, people keep talking about me dating Herobrine's son. No one liked your father, they were terrified of what he could do. They keep saying that you will be like him one day, and I can't take that chance."
The only sounds in the room were the quiet pops of burning bacon. After a few minutes, Sparklez had gotten over his original shock and was starting to feel another emotion, a much stronger one: anger.
"Get out." Dawn was struck by the harshness in her old boyfriend's voice but quickly did as he said and left the house of CaptainSparklez.
Ant was on his way home from a successful mining trip later that afternoon when he crashed into Dawnables. The normally bubbly girl was in a state of hysteria and sobbing hard.
"Dawn, what's wrong?" AntVenom dropped the gold he had mined and put his hands on Dawn's shoulders steadying her. She seemed to be unable to speak, Ant looked into his friend's bloodshot eyes and noticed they were wide with obvious fear. Finally the girl seem able to speak and she said,
"It's Sparklez, he's killing Sky!"
Big cliffhanger ending! I haven't done that in a while(I think). Until next time, which is sure to not be on time ;)
