New chapter! Sorry it's so late, I've been busy with schoolwork and finals. But now school's out I should be able to update a lot more regularly! And without further ado dear reader, enjoy the chapter :D
Sparklez was furious, he couldn't believe that his lovely Dawnables had broken up with him. He was walking on the edge of the village near the forest, when he spotted SkyDoesMinecraft. The man who had broken Dawn's heart, the man who needed punishing. The tall human was coming back from the forest, a few logs strapped on his back. Sky stopped when he saw the Nether Prince.
"Oh, it's you," He sneered, "I thought you were someone important for a second. I don't know how I was so mistaken." His snide remark did nothing to help Spaklez's mood. The son of Herobrine walked up to his friend's brother and drew back his fist, punching Sky as hard as he could, knocking back the taller man. The oak logs on Sky's back clattered to the ground as he glared at Sparklez, harmful intent obvious in the dark brown eyes behind black sunglasses.
"I could stand you and Dawn together, but this is too far, Beast." Sky wipped blood trickling from his lip and tried to hit the Nether Prince back. He missed completely. Sparklez had moved out of the way with inhuman speed, dodging faster than Sky had ever seen before. Sky blinked then gave it his all, trying to hit the demigod. He punched and kicked but the son of Herobrine was not even grazed by a finger.
"You cheating bastard," Sky was breathing hard from the effort of trying to hit the Nether Prince. "No wonder Herobrine didn't like you, creatures like you should go straight back to the Neth-" Sky choked, not because he had something in his throat, but because Sparklez had appeared behind him and grabbed his throat. Sky found he couldn't breath, the Nether Prince had him in a perfect chokehold, it was almost like he'd done it hundreds of times before. Sky struggled but he could feel his body becoming weaker as his lungs screamed for air. There was a scream from behind them, Sparklez didn't even turn his head, he knew who it was.
Dawn ran away from the scene, going to find the one person she hoped could help. Sparklez loosened his hands slightly and said in a murderous tone,
"Take it back, take back what you said. TAKE IT BACK!" He yelled and Sky feared that the son of Herobrine would break his neck in anger. He certainly had the strength to do it.
"I take it back," Sky choked out, feeling dizzy as his vision started to fade.
"Liar! That's not what you're thinking, you are lying though your teeth and for that you're going to pay." Sparklez's voice was cold as ice as he tightened his grip on his opponents throat, cutting off Sky's air completely. Sparklez narrowed his glowing eyes as his acute ears heard someone else approaching, someone he recognized.
Ant tackled Sparklez, causing the demigod to lose his grip on Sky's throat and all three of them fell to the ground. Sky crawled away, blue and gasping for breath. CaptainSparklez stood up and glared at AntVenom, his glowing white eyes obvious as he had lost his shades in the fall. Ant muttered,
"Notch help me," as he grabbed his iron sword and prepared for the fiercest battle of his life. Out of the corner of his eye Ant could see Dawnables helping Sky get away from the fight that was sure to ensue.
It was the slight distraction that almost cost AntVenom his life. The Nether Prince had attempted a roundhouse kick, that if Ant hadn't pulled up his sword to block, would have knocked him out. He would have been defenseless to whatever was controlling his friend.
The Nether Prince was unarmed but he would still be a formidable opponent. CaptainSparklez was acting in a way eerily similar to the last time they had fought, when he had been under Herobrine's rule. He had almost killed AntVenom, had it not been for Herobrine's strange order to keep the human alive. Ant took a deep breath, his mind returning to the battle at hand. It seemed that Sparkez was waiting for him to make the first move, his arms up in a defensive stance to block any move Ant made. That was unlike Sparklez, he was always on the offensive giving his opponents no chance to retaliate. What was going on here!?
The amulet-wearing man narrowed his eyes in concentration as he made a swing towards Sparklez's right side and quickly changed the direction his blade was heading in. Sparklez didn't even flinch at the feint and blocked the flat end of Ant's blade with his open palm, somehow pushing away the other man's weapon without cutting himself in the process. It would cause a painful bruise but the Nether Prince hadn't even blinked. Ant swallowed nervously, the demigod was not someone to mess with, he would have to stop the white-eyed man as soon as possible.
"Hey Sparklez, I realized that Dawn has really upset you but th-" Ant's attempts to placate the angry Nether Prince stopped abruptly as Sparklez did something unexpected. He started laughing. His laugh was cold and devoid of any emotion, and it sounded exactly like his father.
"Why, my dear AntVenom," the Nether Prince purred in a silky and beautiful voice, "it isn't that silly girl that upset me, it's you."
Ant felt his throat go dry as his mind went blank, he couldn't think of a single thing to say to this creature that had to be the Nether King reborn. There was no way he could defeat Herobrine again, not without CaptainSparklez's help. He had to get Herobrine out of his friend, and talking wasn't working. Ant remembered what Notch had made him promise: if it came to a decision between Minecraftia and Sparklez, Ant was to pick Minecraftia.
I'm sorry, Sparklez.
The Nether Prince's eyes gleamed as he received Ant's telepathic message but it was too late for the son of Herobrine to escape the lightning-fast jab of steel to his heart. Only the reflexes of a god saved him, and Sparklez managed to almost dodge the deadly stroke of AntVenom's sword. Almost.
A scream of pure pain erupted from his mouth as Sparklez stumbled away from his best friend, iron sword impaled in his left shoulder. The glow in his eyes seemed to flicker, then went out completely, leaving behind blue eyes wide with agony.
"Sparklez!" Ant yelled, catching the Nether Prince's attention. Sparklez stared at AntVenom, breathing heavily as blood started to trickle from his shoulder, sword still stuck in the wound. Ant carefully stepped towards his friend and looked deep into his friend eyes, the Nether Prince's pupil were dilated so much that he looked almost cat-like. Sparklez looked back at Ant through a haze of madness, clearly not recognizing his friend. He seemed to relax a little when Ant didn't move any closer, the human didn't seem to be much of a threat. Sparklez looked at his shoulder and appeared surprised to see a sword in it. He grabbed the blade with his right hand and pulled it out, not noticing that the blade cut his fingers as well.
"Sparklez!" Ant called again, the desperation clear in his voice as he tried to get the demigod's attention. Sparklez turned back to the voice and blinked as he looked at the black-clad man, the purple gem in his golden amulet glowing brighter than it usually did.
"Ant." Sparklez choked out, finally recognizing his friend, the animalistic look in his eyes vanishing as tears trickled down his cheeks and blood down his arm and hand. "What have I done? No, never mind. I don't want to know," Sparklez's voice was full of pain, but not because of the horrible physical wounds he had received but because he had been trying to do the same to others. CaptainSparklez quickly turned and ran into the forest, disappearing into the darkening trees and leaving nothing but a trail of red blood behind.
Poor Sparklez, we are we going to do with him? If you didn't notice, that was an extra long chapter because of the wait. Do you guys prefer long waits and long chapters or short waits and short chapters? Tell me in the reviews, and have a wonderful day!
