"It's impossible."

"But…" started Jeremy.

"It's impossible!" insisted Odd.

"But if it is possible?"

"But everyone thought the film was great."

"It's ridiculous, right? Especially at the end when the villain says he's found enlightenment. Poof, a police helicopter arrives and he fires a missile into their faces," pointe out Jeremy.

"He has a point," agreed Harry.

"Can you stop arguing?" asked Sissi.

"Well, yeah… It's really good."

"It sucks."

"Hey guys." William sat down on the grass as Yumi remained standing.

"You don't have class?" asked Ulrich.

"Nope, free time this afternoon."

"Which sucks," added Harry.

"What?" Jeremy stared at Harry who shrugged.

"Where's Aelita?" asked Yumi.

"She's in her room," explained Jeremy. "If you go, try to detach her from her computer."

"I can always try…" Yumi walked away as Jeremy checked the time.

"I'll work on the virus. Laura's waiting for me."

"Laura?" asked Ulrich in surprise.

"We have to recheck things before implanting the virus into Tyron's supercomputer. Aelita's too busy and Harry doesn't want to know too much just in case. Without Laura, I'll never make it."

"Let me know when you've found enlightenment," called Odd as Jeremy left.

Aelita's dorm

Yumi pushed the door open. "Hey. Everything ok?"

"Yes…" Yumi entered the room and closed the door. "No… I still don't have a response from my mother. Harry hasn't had one either."

"Listen, your mother knows you're alive. That's not bad," said Yumi as she tried to comfort Aelita. "In the meantime, don't you want to get out a bit? It's really nice out."

"I don't know. What if she sends a message?"

"You'll be able to come back. Listen, let's have a girl's day out. We could get Sissi and Luna to come with us."

"What do you consider a girl's day out?"

"We wander around without really going anywhere. We laugh like idiots. We stare at boys. We go shopping. We try on clothes without buying anything. And when we get super tired, we'll have tea at my place. All without Laura, obviously."

Aelita laughed. "Ok."

They walked out the room.

Lab

"Damn. I knew it was too good to be true," muttered Jeremy as a tower activated. He rang Ulrich.

Kadic

"Yes Jeremy? Ok, we're coming." Ulrich pushed himself up. "It was too good to last."

"Pff. Why does Xana never attack on a rainy day?" asked Odd.

"Because he likes to annoy us," said Harry with an eye roll.

Yumi

"Yes Jeremy? Yes, they're with me. Ok, see you soon." Yumi ended the call. "Xana attack. He's such a spoil sport."

"Who's Xana?" asked Herb as he overheard them. The girls shared a look.

Ulrich

The four skidded to a halt as they saw Laura.

"Ah, there's Laura," commented Odd.

"Wait, isn't she supposed to be with Jeremy?" asked William as he pulled out his phone as it rang.

"William? It's Laura. Be careful. The visual search still had no data. If there's a spectre, it could be anyone."

"If you only knew how right you are." William ended the call. "It's a spectre."

"Yeah, kinda guessed from the massive headache," grumbled Harry as the eye pf Xana flashed in the spectre's eyes. They ran and William jumped to the side as the spectre sent a bolt of electricity at him before chasing after the other three.

"Alright. Let's split up to get to the factory," suggested Ulrich after they stopped. "It can't catch all of us."

"Ok!" they separated before Odd considered what he said. "Wait! That means one of us could get caught! Come on!"

Harry slipped past the spectre and crouched next to William. "Hello sleepy head."

William punched him lightly before climbing into the sewers. Harry followed.

Yumi

"No, I won't leave you alone. There's a secret here."

"Yumi, maybe you should go home," suggested Aelita. "From there, you can go somewhere else to deactivate you know what."

"Or, I can do this. Come on Herb. Luna, can you help me?" Sissi dragged him away as Luna followed them.

"Wow, she's brave," said Yumi.

"Or just going to use Herb's interest in her," said Aelita.

Ulrich

Ulrich flowed to a halt. "Ah Yumi. Where are the other girls?"

"Haven't seen them…"

"You weren't with them?" Ulrich backed away and ran as the eye of Xana flashed in the girl's eyes. The spectre followed him. Hiding behind a tree, Ulrich pulled out his phone.

"Jeremy? Bad news. The spectre shape shifts. Now it's Yumi."

"What?"

"You have to warn the others."

"Ok."

Ulrich ended the call.

Lab

Jeremy lowered his phone. "The spectre's Yumi now."

The four turned as they heard the door open to see Yumi and Aelita.

"What? You guys look like you've seen a ghost."

"Precisely. Let me ask a question," replied Jeremy. "According to Ulrich, you tried to steal his codes."

"Well, yeah. And afterwards, I rushed here to steal yours Jeremy, right?"

"Ok, you're the real Yumi. But we've got a big issue."

"Yeah, we have to take care of that tower," said Harry with a shrug.

"Not that. Either there are multiple spectres or it can shape shift. But we do have to stop it quickly. Get to Lyoko."

"I'll stay here," said Aelita as she crossed her arms.

"And where are Luna and Sissi?"

"With Herb," replied Yumi. "They'll manage."

Lyoko

"We're here Jeremy," called Yumi as William looked around. "Can you send me a taxi?"

"Two seconds." The Overwing appeared. "I need some time to find the tower's coordinates."

"What's Sissi and Luna doing with Herb?" asked William as he turned to Yumi. "They're not exactly friends."

"Too long to explain I guess. But at least he's not a spectre, it seems."

"You certain of that?" asked Harry.

"I've got the tower. It's southwest of your position."

"Do you mind if I smoke?" asked William as he passed Yumi before dissolving into smoke.

"You've been doing that for a while." Yumi followed him as Harry ran alongside her.

"Sissi, it's me," Jeremy said into the phone.

"Yes. Yes, I'm still with Herb. He's giving me an interrogation."

"Keep an eye out for the spectre. We don't know who it is. Beware of everyone."

"Ok, ok, we'll play lookout."

William reformed as he peered out from behind a rock at the Krabes.

"So?" asked Yumi as she and Harry joined him.

"Three Krabes, piece of cake."

"Yeah, for me." Yumi grabbed Harry's shoulder as he made to attack them, causing the boy to grumble.

"It looks like a trap."

"What trap?" asked William.

"You don't think it's weird? Only three Krabes? Seems like Xana did it on purpose."

"I see what you mean," said Harry as he peered back at the monsters. "There has to be more monsters around."

"So what?" asked William. "It's faster."

"Yeas but he's already tried to trick us with his spectres. He's hiding something."

"Listen, we'll take care of the Krabes and see what happens after. You go take care of the tower."

"Ok." Yumi ran off as the two boys walked towards the monsters.

"Oi! Crustaceans!" called William. "Here we are! Hey!"

The three monsters followed Yumi and Harry knocked William down as a laser passed over them. William faced the fourth Krabe as Harry chased after Yumi.

"Yumi! What's going on?" asked Jeremy.

"The Krabes are targeting me so I can't get to the tower."

"What about William and Harry?"

"I don't know what they're up to."

"You want to play?" William asked the Krabe before turning to smoke to doge an attack. He reformed and got knocked into a rock.

"Watch out William," warned Jeremy. "You don't have many life points left."

"I know."

He turned back to smoke.

Lab

Ulrich entered the lab.

"Not a problem, it's me."

"How can you prove it?" asked Laura.

Ulrich sighed. "My name is Ulrich Stern, I practice Pencak Silat and I have vertigo."

"It's him," said Jeremy as Laura looked at him. "Yumi, Harry and William are already on Lyoko. Go join them."

"What's Aelita doing here?" asked Ulrich.

"Sorry but I don't trust Laura."

Lyoko

A rock moved and the Krabe fried at it.

"Surprise!" William leapt at the Krabe from the top of the cliff and stabbed the Krabe before running off as the Krabe imploded.

Yumi ran behind rocks before bumping into Harry and William

"I thought you took care of the Krabes."

"What, do you think we were playing around?" asked William. "There was a fourth musketeer hiding in the rocks."

"And?"

"What do you think? I'm taking care of it. But you were right, it was a trap."

"And that's not to say there aren't others. Xana doesn't want us to reach that tower."

"Huh? What did I miss while I took out those Krabes?" asked harry as the sounds of the Krabes blowing up reached them.

"Guys, I've sent Ulrich to back you up," said Jeremy.

"See? Everything's working out."

"Except for the monster reinforcements," said Harry as he watched the Krabes.

"See? Here he is," continued William as Ulrich hopped down from a rock.

"Already?" asked Yumi as she walked towards him. "You…"

Ulrich pulled out a sword and devirtualised her.

"What do you think you're doing?!" asked an angry William before blocking the strikes with his sword. "Hey, stop! Hey, Jeremy! What did you send us here?"

"I had nothing to do with it. Xana's created a fake avatar in Ulrich's image."

Harry took the chance to stab the clone. "And that's how you do that. We'd better be careful. There could be a clone of me around."

"And how do I know that you're not fake as well?" asked William as he pointed his sword at Harry.

"Um, I could ask the same of you," retorted Harry.

"Hm. Is it true that you have a mole on your…"

"Shut up William!" Harry glared at him.

"Ok, I don't think Xana could pull that look off."

"What are your feelings on Yumi?"

"I wish I could be with her but Ulrich will keep her happy. That's all I want."

"If Xana keeps sending lookalikes on Lyoko, we're screwed," said Jeremy. "I hope Odd won't be long."

"I can go look for him," suggested Yumi.

"I'll come with you," decided Aelita and they waled into the elevator.

Ulrich parked the Ovebike and jumped off it. William pointed his sword at him. "Hey! Your head is messed up!"

"Prove to me that you're the real Ulrich."

"What?"

"Your twin brother devirtualised Yumi. Prove to me that you're not triplets."

"You're a moron as well as a show off who can barely lift that cake knife you call a sword. Was that good enough?" asked Ulrich. William lowered his sword.

"Ok, it's definitely you."

"Cake knife? I would have called it an oversized butcher's knife," said Harry.

"What's on the menu?" asked Ulrich as they faced the tower.

"Just three Krabes. But Xana seems to be playing pranks. Yumi knows about that," explained William.

"The problem is if you're forced to devirtualise each other, soon there won't be anyone left to deactivate the tower," added Jeremy. "It would give the spectre free reign to steal our codes."

"Another problem is that we still don't have any means to distinguish the real Lyoko Warriors from the fake," continued William.

"Keep asking each other personal questions. That seems like a good idea," said Jeremy.

"Oh boy. I better not be asked about that mole again," muttered Harry.

"Phew. If only you knew what a pain it was to get here," groaned Odd as he entered the lab. "And after being chased by Laura. Not you, a spectre. Anyway, I'm ready to dive."

Jeremy and Laura looked at each other.

"What? Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Prove to us that you're really you."

"What?" asked Odd.

"The spectre stole your identities so give me your name and at least two pieces of information that Xana doesn't know."

"Where are the others? Have you sent them to Lyoko already?" asked Odd.

"Answer us first," said Laura.

"Uh, my name is Odd Della Robbia, I'm a musician and, uh, I'm better than Einstein at sports."

"Ok, it's him. William, Harry and Ulrich are on Lyoko."

Sissi

"Sorry Herb, I can't tell you anything."

"Sissi, if you're in some kind of danger, you should tell someone," pointed out Herb. Sissi shook her head as Luna helped him into a chair.

"I can't Herb. I swore not to tell. And even if I did, no one would believe me."

Lyoko

"Come on, let's go." William stood up.

"There's no room for mistakes. If we're defeated, there's only Aeltia and Odd left to disable the towers," pointed out Ulrich.

"And how likely is it for me to be devirtualised?" asked Harry.

"You talking about me?" asked Odd as he jumped off the Overboard.

"Odd!"

"Wait." William grabbed Ulrich's shoulder. "Are you the real one?"

"Of course I'm the real one!"

"Jeremy? Did you virtualise Odd?" asked William as he summoned his sword and pointed it at Odd.

"Yes but I have no way of knowing if the one in front of you is the real one or not."

"Are you kidding me? Come on, what?" asked Odd.

Kadic

The spectre walked down the corridor as Sissi and Luna walked out the room with Sissi on the phone.

"Yes?"

The spectre walked over to them. They dodged it and ran. Herb peered out the door and yelped as he saw the spectre's eyes flash.

"Jeremy, we'll try to meet you in the lab," said Sissi once they got far enough away. "Uh, I think we're going to have to erase Herb's memory."

Lyoko

A second Odd climbed up.

"Odd?" asked Ulrich as he pulled out his swords and pointed one at each Odd. "I don't believe it. For sure, one of them has to be the fake."

"And I have no idea which," added Harry.

"Devirtualise us both," suggested one. "That way, you can be sure."

"No way. Deactivating the tower is priority."

"It's the only way! And I can prove that I'm the real Odd."

"Except this could be a ploy by the fake Odd!"

"Except I proposed it first!"

William shielded his eyes as Ulrich got devirtualised before sending an energy wave, destroying the fake Odd.

"Good, the problem is solved," said Odd.

"You could still be a clone," said Harry.

"We didn't see which one of you devirtualised Ulrich," added William.

"And I'm not sure you're the real William and Harry," retorted Odd. "How about we discuss it after we eliminate these three Krabes?"

"Ok."

The three shot towards the tower.

Lab

"It can't go on like this anymore," said Jeremy as Ulrich entered the lab.

"I know. Xana's created avatars that resemble us down to the last detail," explained Ulrich. "It's impossible to tell the difference. I'll go and help out Yumi and Aelita."

"Impossible to tell the difference," muttered Jeremy as Ulrich left. "Laura, are you interested in creating a little program?"

"Thoroughly."

Park

Sissi and Luna slowed to a halt as they ran into Yumi and Aelita.

"Is that you?"

"Is that you?"

Ulrich arrived and Luna flinched slightly.

"I think we have a little problem here."

Lyoko

"Wahoo!" Odd destroyed a Krabe. "Are you convinced that I'm the real Odd yet?"

"Not yet," called William. "But I'm a little slow to relax."

"Come on Krabbykins. Let's do it," muttered Odd as he shot towards the last Krabe only for the pixels to blow in his face. "Not cool. Not cool at all."

"I'm sure your pride can handle the blow," said Harry.

"Anyway the coast is clear!"

"Are you sure about that?" asked Harry as he looked behind Odd. "Because if I'm not mistaken, William is in two places at once."

He flicked a kunai and implanted into the forehead of his clone as a second Odd appeared.

"The plot thickens," commented one of the Williams as they backed away from each other.

"Well, we can't stay here all night," said the other. "Someone got a solution?"

"UH, here come the personal questions again," muttered Harry.

"What if we deactivate the tower and discuss afterwards?" asked one of the Odds.

"Hey, I agree," said the second Odd as the Williams pointed their swords at him.

"Hey, I proposed it! That proves that I'm the real Odd, right?" asked Odd as the two Williams backed away.

"Nope," said Harry.

"Like before, it could be a trick," said one of the Williams.

Park

"Ok, we've got to ask personal questions in turn and we'll see," said Yumi.

"Ok, you start," said Aelita.

"Um, Aelita, what nickname do you call Jeremy when you're alone with him?" asked Yumi.

"Proxy-pie."

"What?" asked Ulrich.

"Proxy-pie. Sissi, what does Harry call you when you're alone?"

Sissi blushed. "Sugarpuff."

Ulrich laughed but shut up when Sissi sent him a murderous glare.

Lyoko

"I have an idea," said one of the Odds. "We just need to ask personal questions. Like that, we'll know who the real Lyoko Warriors are right away."

"Ok," agreed one of the Williams. "You start."

"William, have you already kissed Yumi?" asked one of the Odds as the two Williams faced each other.

"Uh… pass."

Park

"Yumi, what is your most embarrassing holiday memory?" asked Aeltia.

"It was supposed to be a secret." Aelita smiled at her. "It was with my little brother. I wanted to buy a new swimsuit."

Lyoko

"Odd, how many girls in your class have you gone out with?" asked one of the Williams.

"Ah, no, that's not fair," moaned one as the other started counting.

"Wait, there was, uh… Jeanne… Azra… Lola…. Heidi… Emilie…"

"Anyway, you don't know so…" said one of the Williams as he pointed his sword at Odd.

"Yeas, I'm getting there," said that Odd. "Help me, you!"

Harry watched in amusement.

"Done," sad Jeremy. "Friends? Prepare to find enlightenment."

"Got it."

The clones glowed and Odd destroyed them.

"Well done Odd. Hurry up, now!"

"Hey," called William as Odd headed towards the tower. "Where are you going like that?"

"To deactivate the tower. You can devirtualise me if you want."

"It's ok. We both know you're Odd, right?" asked Harry as he sent a look at William who smiled slightly as Odd entered the tower.

Park

"Your turn Ulrich," said Yumi as they faced him.

"Ok, Yumi. Have you ever kept a secret from me?" The girls shared a look and stepped back. "What?"

"The real Ulrich would never ask that question," said Yumi. The eye of Xana flashed in Ulrich's eyes and he advanced on the girls before exploding. The real Ulrich caught up to them.

"I was looking for you." The girls stared at him. "Is everything ok?"

They laughed as a familiar light covered them.
