I'm back! Sorry for the wait, I had some friends at my house for a few days so I didn't have much time to write. Enjoy!

"Sparklez...I..." Ant stuttered, at a loss for words.

"I could use a healing potion, do you happen to have one on hand?" CaptainSparklez asked, trying to sound nonchalant. Ant blinked in surprise and gave Sparklez the bright pink elixir GrailMore had prepared for him. Sparklez drank all of the sweet potion then watched as the small bruises and burns on his chest acquired from the fights with the many monsters disappeared and the cuts on his fingers healed. The Nether Prince took off the ripped section of his shirt that had been a makeshift bandage and looked at the wound Ant had inflicted on him. It still looked painful but had scabbed over and shrunk in size.

"Sparkez-"

"I know, I'm a monster," Sparklez cut him off. "I'm turning into the Nether King I can see it as well as you. When I fought you earlier I wasn't in control of my body, someone else was. It was the spirit of Herobrine."

"It can't be," Ant said, dismayed by what his friend was telling him.

"It is. At first I didn't believe it either but now I recognize him. When I get angry, he enters my mind and takes it over. Herobrine controls my actions, I am his puppet."

"Stop it Sparklez! That's not true! It's something else, there's no way it's Herobrine. He's dead, I killed him!" Ant's voice was panicked as he tried to think of a valid excuse for Sparklez's behavior.

"Calm down, AntVenom, there's nothing you can do. Ever since Herobrine died, I've been sort of expecting this. He is a god after all. You may have destroyed his body but his spirit lives on. As a god his spirit can travel the different realms when his body dies, unlike humans who are stranded in one world. And before you ask, I don't know how to kill him, if there is even a way to do so. If I can kill him then I will, if not then I'll die trying." Sparklez looked at Ant as if daring him to disagree.

"No, Sparklez. We will find a way to kill him. I can't let you do this on your own" Ant pleaded. Sparklez's expression turned to one of sadness,

"I'm sorry Ant, I'm afraid I can't let you help me. I care about you too much and if I were to lose you," Sparklez stopped, unable to continue his train of thought.

"You won't lose me Sparklez, I can-" AntVenom protested but Sparklez quickly interrupted,

"Ant look out-" but his warning was too late as an Enderman appeared out of nowhere and raked it's black claws down Ant's back and disappeared. AntVenom screamed in agony and felt blood start to trickle down his back.

Sparklez grabbed the iron sword that had fallen from Ant's fingers and circled his friend, waiting for the tall monster to reappear. It did a few feet behind Ant and Sparklez locked eyes with it, stopping it's movement. Ant tried to turn around and fell down as excruciating pain flared from his scratches. He hit his head and slipped into unconsciousness.

"Stay there," Sparklez said tersely, while still staring at the Enderman. It seemed to squirm under his gaze but looked back with striking purple eyes. The Enderman opened it's mouth revealing sharp black teeth and screeched, a horrible and otherworldly sound.

"You're not getting away with this," Sparklez snarled at the grinning black beast.

The Enderman knew most humans couldn't bear looking at it for too long, and when they looked away it would strike. It had already taken out the smaller human and now was facing the other human, but this one seemed far more dangerous than it's companion. The human opened it's mouth and emitted some low pitched noises, and while the Enderman couldn'tunderstand what it was saying, the intentwasclear: Stay away or I will attack.

But there was something wrong with this human, something very wrong. As the Enderman thought that it felt a worm of doubt in it's mind. No, that wasn't it, Endermen didn't feel doubt. There was something in it's mind that shouldn't have been there.

CaptainSparklez smiled, showing white teeth as he entered the Enderman's mind. It was unusual species of Overworld monster, coming from the End and being far more intelligent than the average nightly monster. The Enderman let out another piercing screech and twitched. Sparklez narrowed his eyes and the Enderman opened it's mouth and a series of horrible noises erupted from it's throat and it collapsed on the grass, the intelligence gone from it's eyes. The black monster didn't even flinch when Sparklez walked over to it, breathing hard from the effort, and raised Ant's sword.

"Any last words you worthless scum?" He spat out then sneered, "I didn't think so," as he chopped off the Enderman's head and watched it turn to dust. Endermen were the only mob that crumbled into black dust when they died, all other monsters just rotted or were burned in the sunlight.

The Nether Prince looked behind him at his fallen human companion and sighed. Sparklez took some leaves off the ground and put them under AntVenom's head as a makeshift pillow. He then searched Ant's pack and lit up the clearing with the torches he found inside it.

"Sp-Sparklez?" Ant called out softly, his voice edged with pain.

"Don't get up, it will only hurt your back even more." Sparklez ran back to his wounded friend from the edge of the clearing.

"You don't have any healing potions so I'll just have to bandage your wounds and we'll have to wait for them to heal. You should go to sleep now, it's about midnight and you will need the rest."

Ant blinked his eyes blearily and gave a small nod before sinking his head back into the leaf pillow and falling into a fitful sleep.

Sparklez swore in Netherian and sighed, looking at his best friend, "Why did you have to come after me AntVenom? It would be so much easier if I just killed Herobrine on my own. I don't want to have to protect you from the cruel god that is my father. You have people that will mourn your death and I don't, no one would try once I was killed they would go to Notch for help. Last time it was only luck that let you kill Herobrine, and I don't think luck is on our side again. " Sparklez sighed again and got a water potion from Ant's pack. He cleaned the white fabric that had been his shirt and bandage, the red bloodstains turning pink then dissipating altogether. Sparklez looked down at AntVenom and without waking his friend, he carefully took off Ant's black shirt with had been torn in the back from the Enderman 's black claws. The Nether Prince carefully applied the wet white fabric to the huge scratch marks on Ant's back. The amulet-wearing man sighed in his sleep and looked a little more relaxed. Sparklez looked at AntVenom, and deciding there was nothing more he could do, put Ant's black shirt back on the sleeping man who somehow hadn't woken up during the process.

CaptainSparklez looked at the bright white moon that was starting to sink in the sky and he looked at the bright white aura of AntVenom, his dearest friend. "Don't worry Ant, I'll protect you. Whatever it takes I promise you will make it out of here alive."

Poor Sparky, he seems so alone. So I will probably post the next chapter late too because I'm going on vacation. I might not have wifi so expect it a bit late. So yeah, bye!
