Hello readers! I got a new chapter already because I just spent a few hours writing last night...so if I remember the next chatter won't be late!

The Heroes of Minecraftia were in a jungle temple, a place full of great treasure and great danger.

AntVenom had taken the lead and CaptainSparklez followed closely behind him. Sparklez froze as he spotted something on the ground, but he didn't have time to warn his friend with words. As Ant's foot was descending on a trap, Sparklez tackled his friend, forcing them both to the ground and missing the trap that could have killed AntVenom.

Ant groaned and pushed Sparklez off him,

"Was it another trip wire?" He asked tiredly.

"Yes. Sorry if I hurt you," Sparklez stood up and looked down at AntVenom, "I couldn't have stopped you in time otherwise." Ant nodded and put up his hand to be pulled up by Sparklez. As he was helped up, Ant grimaced and hissed softly in pain.

"What's wrong?" Sparklez said, eyes wide with alarm.

"I think the scabs on my back opened up." Ant replied. Sparklez cursed softly,

"We really need a healing potion. Ant, you should go back."

"I'll be fine. And don't you have a wound to worry about yourself?" Ant retorted.

"I had a healing potion, my wound is healing quickly. Your scratches may take over two weeks before they allow you full movement of the muscles on your back without pain."

"Why do you want me to go back so badly?"

"I don't want you to die." Sparklez stated.

"I'm not going to die!" Ant yelled out of sheer frustration. How could Sparklez not understand that Ant could protect himself just fine?

"If you are around me, then you will die. The simple truth is Herobrine is stronger than me and you. He will kill us both."

"Why are you so pessimistic?"

"Because it's the truth. Now do you want to explore the rest of temple or not?" Sparklez was now frustrated as well. Ant didn't say anything but just carefully stepped over the trip wire and around the corner to whatever else the jungle temple contained. He cheered as he saw a chest.

"Finally, some loot!" Ant opened the chest and peering at the treasure inside.

"What's in the chest?" Sparklez called from a few feet behind him.

"Two shiny iron ingots, a few bones, and a saddle. I'll take the saddle, Sky will love it! And we can make you an iron sword with the iron ingots."

"Good, now should we find a place to rest?"

"Why would we do that? There's still another hallway to explore!"

"Really?" Sparklez retraced his steps and discovered that in his haste to find AntVenom, he had missed an entire passageway leading in the opposite direction.

Together the two friends went down the other passage, that turned out to be quite short with three levers at its end.

Ant stepped up to the levers and studied the pattern. After a few moments of thought he said,

"I heard of this type of puzzle before, and I think there are two possible solutions depending on how it is set up. I guess I'll try one and see what happens."

Ant pulled the rightmost lever and a click was heard, followed by a shuffling sound. He pulled the left lever twice and the sounds were repeated as well. Lastly he pulled the right lever again and a small hole appeared with a chest in it. Ant grinned and Sparklez raised an eyebrow,

"Impressive."

"Thanks. Now in chest number two we have...four gold ingots and some rotten flesh." AntVenom put the gold in his pack and together the Heroes of Minecraftia walked up and out of the jungle temple.

The two friends ate a large dinner of steak and baked potatoes, all cooked by Sparklez's summoned fire.

"I'm going to contact GrailMore now." Ant decided suddenly.

"Using the amulets? You'll have to go through SkyDoesMinecraft first but go ahead." Sparklez responded and they both sat down on the humid jungle.

AntVenom closed his eyes and whispered a few words in an ancient Minecraftian tongue.

Sky? Are you there?

He called out telepathically and soon received a response.

Ant! You're safe! The Nether Beast didn't kill you.

Of course he didn't, he's my friend. I wish you would stop calling him that Sky, it's rude and you know he doesn't like it.

He almost killed me last night! I can call him whatever I like.

You provoked him. You know he's dangerous. I'd like to talk to GrailMore, could you find her and give her the amulet?

Fine.

Thank you.

I found her. Hey Grail, Ant wants to talk to you. No, I don't think there's a particular reason. Just put on the amulet, that should work.

AntVenom felt the connection with Sky's mind fade.

Hello? Grail? Can you hear me? Hello?

Silence.

Ant opened his eyes. He looked at Sparkez who had been staring at him.

"Did you have a nice talk?" Sparklez asked.

"No, I can't talk to Grail. Can you help?"

Sparklez pursed his lips thoughtfully and nodded.

"I know something that might work. I think the reason the amulets work with you and Sky is because you two are brothers even though you don't have any magic in you. I, on the other hand, have a lot if magic naturally inside me so I can do a lot more with twin amulets."

"Then stop bragging and help me!" Ant said exasperatedly.

Sparklez snickered and sat down next to his friend,

"May I have your amulet?" He asked politely. Ant lifted the golden amulet off over his head and looked at the purple gem on it. He passed it to Sparklez, who put it on.

"I feel naked without it." Ant said, looking a little uncomfortable and Sparklez laughed,

"You're not, trust me." He winked and before Ant could respond the Nether Prince spoke a few sentences in the rough language of ancient Netherian. Ant saw his amulet begin to glow brightly with a soft golden light, something he had never noticed on himself before.

Sparklez furrowed his brow in an expression of intense concentration. "Ant and Sky, I'm speaking to you both right now. Ant verbally and Sky through the amulet. And I don't appreciate your rude words, SkyDoeMinecraft. This is a very difficult thing to do. Now Sky, I want you to give your amulet to GrailMore. She should be able to speak to me through it now." CaptainSparklez paused and Ant froze, worried that something had gone wrong, but his fears were for nothing.

"Hello GrailMore...I'm fine, thank you. Now Ant and Grail, we can do this two different ways. The first is GrailMore talks to me and I rely her words to Ant. The second is a bit complicated but Grail, you should enjoy it more. I would have Grail transport part of her consciousness into me, much like what I'm doing now except more powerful. Then I would briefly give her control over my body and she would be able to see through my eyes and talk through my mouth. Which one do you choose?"

What will they choose? No one knows! Well, I do but anyway, see you guys next Friday!
