In a castle far from the forest, a man was sitting on a couch, fingering the amulet in his hand. His brown eyes studied the way the purple gem glowed slightly, making the gold shine brightly. He looked up as there was a knock on the door.

"Come in," he said.

The person who stepped through the door wore the same golden amulet as the man in the room. His was glowing more than his brother's, but his eyes were not as bright as the other man's.

"Hey Sky," he said. Sky looked up in surprise and cried out,

"Ant! You're back!" He stood and embraced AntVenom. "You were gone for over a month, we were beginning to get worried. Even Grail, who got to talk to you every week."

"Yeah, sorry about that," Ant said, looking guilty. "It's been a long day and I'd like to get some rest, but first I should probably explain."

"So he just left? With nothing but a note and a compass left behind?" SkyDoesMinecraft said. "I don't know man, it sounds like he doesn't want you to find him."

"But that's exactly it!" Ant exclaimed, "He's in trouble, I just know it!"

Sky sighed and looked closely at his brother. He saw a man who was exhausted, weak, and ready to drop. But he also saw a man with determination in his eyes, one that would not give up until he achieved his goal.

"Alright, I'll help you find Sparklez," Sky gave in, "but on one condition: You get some rest and I go with you to find him."

"Thank you, Sky." AntVenom said, the relief obvious in his eyes.

"You're my brother, there's nothing I wouldn't do for you. That said, you need to sleep. I'll show you to your room," Sky said with a smile.

AntVenom woke to the sound of a wolf barking, and reached for his sword before he realized where he was. He was laying in the soft bed of his room in Sky's castle. There was no wolf nearby, it must have been a recruit's dog that he had heard. Ant sat up and stretched leisurely, it had been far too long since he had slept in such a calm and peaceful environment.

He got out of bed and dressed himself in his usual black attire, complete with a diamond sword Sky had given him. He looked in the mirror and smiled a little sadly at his reflection. He looked tired, and not the kind of tired that sleep would fix. A knock at the door interrupted his thoughts.

"Come in," Ant called out, expecting it to be a recruit who was bringing something to him from Sky. He turned to face the person that entered and was almost knocked over by the short purple girl that burst through the door.

"Hey Grail," Ant smiled down at his girlfriend who was busy hugging him.

"I missed you," she murmured into his shirt and he put his arms around her small form before replying,

"I missed you too." AntVenom took a deep breath, breathing in his girlfriend's sweet scent, and was finally home. Unfortunately, he couldn't stay like that forever, he had to go find the Nether Prince who had also become an important part of his life.

Grail finally pulled away from Ant's embrace and looked up at him, eyes shining,

"I'm so glad you're home AntVenom," she said. And there was something special in the way that she said his name. It was almost like a secret that the two of them shared. GrailMore went on tiptoes and kissed Ant with soft lips.

"I love you," Ant whispered, and Grail hummed happily before responding,

"I love you too, AntVenom."

A knock on the door interrupted the moment and Ant sighed softly,

"Come in!" He said loud enough for the persons behind the door to hear.

It was opened by a recruit, who looked very nervous to be in Ant's presence. He was, after all, a Hero of Minecraftia.

"Uh...Sky says he's ready to talk with you about leaving if you're awake...which you are, obviously. So um, Sky wants to talk to you." The recruit mumbled looked up at Ant and Grail when he was done. "Sorry, did I interrupt something?" He said, seeming even more nervous than before.

"No, it's alright. I'll be down momentarily, you're dismissed." Ant said, and smiled reassuringly at the recruit who nodded and quickly left.

"Hold on," Grail said, "did he say you were leaving?"

"Uh," Ant said, unable to look his girlfriend in the eyes, "yeah. I'm going after CaptainSparklez. He's...missing." Ant looked at Grailmore and instantly regretted it, she looked so upset it nearly broke his heart.

"But, I just got you back. And you were gone for so long. I could hardly bear it without you!"

"It was hard for me too," Ant felt the need to defend himself, "but I had to protect Sparklez. He's in danger right now!"

"It's like you care about him more than you do about me!" Grail said angrily and pouted.

"I..." Ant said, but couldn't think of a proper response. After all, that was what it seemed like. Running off with Sparklez and leaving Grail behind...and when Sparklez had kissed him. AntVenom knew he would have to tell GrailMore about the kiss, but now didn't seem like the right time at all. Not when she was so mad at him. Suddenly a chilling thought pierced him, what if she breaks up with me?

Ant's fear must have shown on his face because GrailMore quickly said,

"I'm sorry, that was uncalled for. We both know it's not true." She paused, "will you forgive me?"

"Of course," AntVenom said with an uneasy smile. Sometimes he felt like he didn't deserve his girlfriend, she was so loving, trusting, and cheerful. GrailMore could never stay mad for long, and especially not with someone she lived as much as AntVenom. Now is probably a good time to tell her about the kiss, Ant thought.

"Hey Grail?"

"Hmm?"

"Something happened between Sparklez and I when we were in the forest."

"What happened?" Grail sounded mystified, she had no idea what Ant was going to tell her.

"Sparklez...he uh...he taught me how to protect my mind from Herobrine." Ant cursed himself silently.

"Uh, okay. That's great Ant!" GrailMore's confusion cleared up and she smiled a brilliant smile at him.

"Now, let's go eat breakfast. Sky is probably wondering why you're taking so long.
