selena devargo - I'm taking god care of Marina, as you will see in this episode! I do think Lysette and Lotor compliment each other, and by the end of the season, you'll be exstatic at what happens!
Author's Note -I apologize for the increasing delay of these episodes. For a while, I wasn't feeling myself. But I know everyone, especially KA fans, will be pleasantly surprised by this episode! But i will warn you, the end is MA-17, so please be aware. It seems like an awkward end to the episode, but it's in my outline, and everything has a reason!

Episode 75 : "The Syn of the Father"
"I can't believe they kept the White Lion," Daniel said. "I thought that think was tied to Haggar. After the infection, I want to stay as far away from that as possible, believe me."
"It bothers me too," Larmina replied.
"Sven knows what he's doing," Keith reassured her. "Haggar made a mistake when she bonded him to the lion. Just like each of the Voltron lions are bound to you, and accept you, she created the White Lion to be bound to him. When the infection left him, so did her control over him, as well as the lion."
"We've known the Viking for a real long time," Lance said. "I know he has the right intentions. And honestly, I kinda like the idea that Pollux has a 'lion' of defence." Everyone groaned at the pun.
"At least Haggar's latest plan was foiled," Allura said. "As soon as we get back to the Castle of Lions, we'll log the incident. I have no doubt that whoever is in charge of Doom will not be happy with the defeat, and will undoubtedly launch another attack." A shot came from nowhere and hit Black, sending it into a spin. Allura and keith stumbled off their feet, Alex strapped tightly into the co-pilot's chair.
"What was that?" Keith asked.
"Trying to get a fix now," Vince replied. "It looks like….a giant snake!"
"It's not part of the Predator Robeast, is it?" Daniel asked. "I thought we kicked that thing's but! Blew it into a million pieces!"
"I don't think so," Vince said. "The power level readings from this thing aren't very high." Black dodged two more shots, and the other lions scattered.
"Keep your distance, team," Daniel said. "I don't want to put the prince in harm's way."
"We may not have a choice," Allura said. "If you need to form Voltron to stop this thing, we're ready."
"Let's see if the lions can take it out first," Daniel said. "Marina, Vince, come about and cross swipe." Red and Green split in opposite directions. Blades formed in the jaws of both lions as they made their approach, but as they cut into the beast, it curled around, sending Red and Green instead flying away from it uncontrollably.
"I got it!" Hunk shouted. He flew strait at the beast and spun around, whipping its hammer tail at the beast, it struck, but the beast clamped onto it with its teeth and flung Hunk away. "I don't got it! AHHH!"
"Frost Tail!" Larmina shouted as she opened fire on the beast. The front of it froze and came to a stop, but it immediately broke free and made a beeline for her. Daniel pushed forward and slammed into the beast, knocking it off course.
"Nothing's working," Daniel said. "Alright, team, swing into formation." The Lions regrouped, then flew at the beast at full speed. Danile connected his Voltcom to the console. "Let's Voltron!" Using the Speed Boost, the five lions came together and formed Voltron, immediately clocking the monster, sending it curling and flying backwards. Voltron came to a stop.
"Let's toast it!" marina shouted. "Igniting Lion Torch!" Red lunged forward and shot flame at the beast. It swung out of the way and came at Red, sinking its jaws into it. "AAAAH!"
"Get off!" Daniel shouted. Suddenly, the White Lion came out of nowhere and tackled the beast off them, sending it flying.
"Sven!" Lance shouted. "I'm glad to see you again, buddy!"
"You need to destroy it before it can recover!" he replied. Daniel nodded.
"Form Blazing Sword!" Daniel shouted. Red and Green clanked together and pulled apart, the energy beam forming the Blazing Sword. Voltron brandished the sword and Green let out a mightly roar. "Here it comes…NOW!" As the beast came in to attack again, Voltron lunged forward and sliced between its jaws, cutting the beast in half from mouth to tail. The beast exploded, and Voltron put away the sword.
"That was easy," Larmina said.
"Too easy," Keith said.
"We won," Daniel said. "What could possibly be wrong with that?"
"Guys," Marina said with a shaky voice, "I think we have a problem…."
"Good!" Haggar shouted with a grin. "The Voltron Force fell for my trap! My snake beast penetrated one of the lions, and left the haggarium explosive right where it needs to be! Soon the Lion will become useless, and destroy itself, and Voltron will be no more!" She turned to her crystal, and waved her hands, a form appearing within it. "General Verik, launch your attack on Arus at once! The Lions have been compromised, and the castle is nearly defenseless!"
"Yes, your Excellency," he replied, placing his arm across his chest with a closed fist in a Drule salute. "We will crush the Arusians once and for all!" The communication ended as Haggar cackled, Cova letting out a screeching meow.
Alarms in the Castle of Lions started to blare. Coran ran into the control room, flustered.
"What is going on?" he asked. Pidge continued keying things in rapidly into the holo-panels, and Coran detected the smell of burnt fudge in the air. "What the devil is that smell?"
"Code Fudge," Pidge replied. We have an incoming Drule fleet!"
"Where is Allura and the Voltron Force?" Coran asked.
"They were on their way here," Pidge replied. "Communication dropped shortly after they left Pollux."
"Now we know why," Coran replied. "The castle defenses should be able to hold them off, but the cities…."
"I've been working on shielding systems for the surrounding towns and cities," Pidge said. "It may be enough to protect them."
"Let's hope," Coran replied. "I just hope the Queen and Prince are alright."
"What the hell do we do?" Marina shouted.
"We remain calm, Lieutenant," Lance replied. "Vince, can you figure out what we're dealing with?" Vince paused for a moment as he looked over the screens.
"It's an explosive of some sort alright," he replied. "I have a feeling it's haggarium based, and it's placed fairly close to where Red's nexus resides."
"Can we separate without setting it off?" Daniel asked.
"It shouldn't affect us," Vince said. "I have no idea what will happen when Red's nexus returns to its original position."
"Then we should stay connected?" Marina asked.
"We're going to try and separate," Keith said. "We can't risk the safety of everyone aboard."
"What?" Marina shouted.
"Easy, Lieutenant," Lance said. "Voltron's a lot stronger than you think. That said, strap in, seal your helm, and get ready for a hell of a ride if anything happens."
"That's not making me feel better," Marina said.
"Red's never let me down," he said. "I say we go for it."
"Alright," Daniel said. "All units….separate." Voltron quickly disengaged all lions. Red began to float away listlessly while the remaining lions converted back to lion form.
"Marina, Lance, are you alright?" Keith asked.
"Well, we didn't blow up," he replied, "but we are suffering from a major power drain."
"It's due to the haggarium," Vince said. "The explosive has to be removed from the lion before it completely infects the nexus."
"But if we move it…." Larmina said.
"Boom," Hunk finished.
"Worse news," Vince said.
"What's that?" Daniel asked.
"I'm getting a transmission from the castle of Lions on a secure subchannel," Vince replied. "Arus is under attack."
"Perhaps I can be of some assistance," Sven said.
"You're not thinking what I think you're thinking," lance said.
"You know me better than that, McClain," he replied. "That's exactly what I'm doing."
"Sven," Lance said," we'll find another way."
"There is no other way, and you know it," Sven replied. There was a slight pause.
"I swear, Viking, if you blow up my lion…." Lance scolded.
"I make no promises," Sven replied. His black ice armor formed around him, a visor sealing him in. Within moments, he was standing in the mouth of White Lion. "Come on, my friend. Get me in as close as you can." White tried to get closer to Red, but the haggarium was starting to have an effect on the lion, and it cringed. "It's ok. I will take it from here." He took a running start and dove from the lion, floating right at the impact spot on Red. He grabbed the cold metal shell of the lion, and climbed to the point of impact. As he looked down, he saw the mine, roughly attached to the frame a meter below the surface. He held out his hand, and a blast of black ice surrounded the explosive. He carefully climbed into the opening, and began hacking away at the claws attaching it to the hull, breaking them carefully one by one.
"You sure he knows what he's doing?" Daniel asked.
"I hope so," Keith replied.
"He'll pull through, I know it," Allura said. Just then, they saw the device break free and float off into space.
"The explosive's been triggered!" Vince shouted.
"Get out of there!
" Keith shouted. Red powered up and darted away as the explosive went off, sending White and Red spinning away out of control. Vince and Hunk were able to stop Red from flying off, and Daniel managed to snag the White Lion and carefully bring it to a halt.
"Sven!" Keith shouted. "Sven, are you there?" After a moment of silence, a bit of static was followed by a sign of relief.
"Du kan ikke bli kvitt meg så let." Sven said, much to everyone's relief.
"Daniel," Keith said, "let's get Sven back to the White Lion. We need to get to Arus and stop that Armada. Lance, is Red OK?"
"She's compromised," he replied, "but she's been in worse shape."
"Then let's get moving," Keith said. Black maneuvered to Red, and Sven grabbed hold, being carried back to White. Once everyone was settled, the six lions flew quickly towards Arus.
"Focus your fire on the castle!" Verik ordered. "I want those shields leveled! Get those ground troops moving!"
"Sir!" one of the soldiers shouted, "Something's incoming! It's the Voltron Force!"
"WHAT?" Verik shouted. Red and Black flew close to the ground, and Keith and lance leaped from the Lions to confront the ground troops. Lance pointed his hands at them, and the pistols formed as he began taking shots at the oncoming Drule soldiers. Keith pulled his swords and ran at them, Lance covering him. The six lions began to destroy the attacking ships one by one.
"They're dismantling the fleet, sir!" the soldier said. "What are your orders?" Verik Clenched his fist.
"Haggar assured me she would stop the Voltron Force," he growled. "Order a withdrawal! Lord Kanji with not be pleased with her failure." The ships began to retreat, the remaining soldiers running for the ships taking off as well. Within minutes, they were gone, and the Lions returned safely to the castle.
"What's the damage to Red?" Keith asked as the team stood in the Control Room.
"Some damage to the outer hull," Hunk said. "Nothing a little elbow grease and a blow torch can't fix."
"I do appreciate that you were able to eventually keep your cool up there, Lieutenant," Lance said.
"I'd be a liar if I said I wasn't scared, sir," she replied. Lance laughed.
"Get used to it," he said. "It's part of the job." Allura walked into the control room and walked up to Keith.
"Allura," he said, "where's Alex?"
"Sleeping," she replied. "But there's something else I need to tell you."
"What is it?" he asked softly, a tone the rest of the team was not used to from Keith.
"Remember how I over-ate the Polluxian gligash, then within minutes became sick?" she asked.
"I'm surprised you ate it at all," he said. "It's odd you found it….wait a minute…."
"Alex is going to have a little brother or sister," she said with a smile. As the news sunk in, he scooped her up into his arms in a tight embrace, a smile from ear to ear.
"That's great news!" he shouted, almost a laugh emanating from the man they referred to as 'Admiral Crankypants'.
"Nanny took the news well," she laughed. The Control Room door opened for a moment, showing nanny passed out on the cold floor.
"So we have more things to celebrate!" Keith shouted. But the celebration was cut short when a transmission came in from galaxy garrison.
"There's a transmission on the Ultrawave," Pidge said.
"Put it through, Pidge," Keith replied. Commander Mike Stormclaw appeared on the screen.
"Commander," Keith said. "Is everything alright? Use of this channel is…"
"Indeed urgent," he finished. "I regret to inform you that Space Marshall Hawkins and Lieutenant Fabrere have gone missing."
"What?" Keith asked.
"We have to go to Earth, NOW," Marina shouted. "We have to save them!"
"On top of that, we have footage from an unidentified fractal that landed the other night," Mike continued. "When we looked over the footage, and the computers identified this man, we couldn't believe it." The footage played, and the gruesome sight horrified them all. But it was when they caught sight of the man, Sven became horrified even more.
"It cannot be," he said.
"Who is it?" Keith asked. After a slight pause, Mike came back on screen.
"Alrek Holgersson," he replied.
"Roxy!" Tails shouted. "Where are you? Vice Marshall Hawkins needs us right now! We have to get going!" She pulled open the bedroom door and went catatonic, seeing Roxy sitting on top of JC, completely naked, closing the deal. "Um…yeah…." She awkwardly closed the door, and began to stagger blindly down the hallway. She walked into the living room in front of the couch, Dariana staring out the window.
"Something's not right," she said. Tails sighed.
"Really," she said exasperated, and fainted on the couch.
