It's up to you to decide whether or not I own a pair of chopsticks specially reserved for my hair, and whether or not I am currently putting them to use. But I can tell you one thing for sure: I do not own Hetalia. (And thank you to the guest reviewer saying they enjoy my disclaimers! I like writing them, it's rather fun...)

"Lukas. Are you okay?"

Those were the first words the two heard as they approached Emil and the other boy Lukas supposed had to be Leon, who wasn't paying attention, head in a manga.

"I'm fine. Honestly. But what about you? This has all happened so fast..." He ran a hand through his hair tiredly, giving a heavy sigh.

Emil nodded, looking equally downcast. "I know. I just hope Father doesn't expect me to return to him and his bitch..."

Matthias stepped forward, grinning. "Enough of being sad, guys. We came here for a reason, yeah?"

The Icelander stared at him. "...You're Matthias, I suppose?"

"That's me!" He gave a beaming smile. Emil just gave him a blank look in return, secretly wondering how on earth his stoic brother had ended up with this idiot.

"Right. Okay, so, ah, why I asked you to meet me here... I decided you'd want to meet him in person... Leon, here..." Emil waved the brunette over.

"Uh, hey..." Leon said, slightly nervously.

Lukas gave the two a questioning look, not comprehending.

"Lukas... Leon's my boyfriend."

The platinum blonde stared at them, lips parted in shock. In contrast to Lukas' silence, Matthias gave a bark of a laugh, and patted the Icelander on the back heavily. "Congratulations, guys! How long?"

Emil froze. "Erm..." He gave his brother a nervous glance. Lukas met his eyes, pure shock filling the usually emotionless pools of ice. "Since, uh - since the first term..."

Lukas' eyes widened, and he took a sharp breath. "Since... Oh my god..."

"Come on, Lukas, be happy for them!" Matthias said excitedly.

"I am, but... Why didn't you tell me, Emil? And how the hell did you manage to hide it from them for this long?"

"I was afraid you'd be angry with me..."

"I'm not angry... I couldn't be... With all the crap you've put up with from me, I can't..."

Emil gave his brother a quizzical, still slightly nervous look. "What do you mean?"

"I was an absolute wreck when I first moved in with you and Father... Yet, you didn't get annoyed with me or anything..."

Emil then wrapped his arms around his older brother, something that scarcely happened between the two. "Lukas... You had just lost your mother... Of course you were a wreck..."

Lukas returned the hug, showing a very uncharacteristic amount of emotion. "Still... I was so bitchy and short-tempered all the time - when I wasn't just crying, that is - yet you put up with it..."

"I repeat, you had just lost your mother!" Emil said, almost incredulously.

"It still doesn't excuse my behaviour." Lukas pulled out of the hug, ruffling his brother's hair affectionately. "In any case, I am happy for you. Although..." He turned away from Emil, and faced Leon, who immediately noticed the change in his expression. Drawing himself up to his full (and quite unimpressive) height, Lukas' eyes flashed dangerously. "If you ever hurt my brother in any way, be it as small as a paper cut, you will not be alive to regret it. Got it?"

Emil gave a low moan, slapping a palm to his forehead. Leon nodded nervously, thoughts of death by ski-related things crossing his mind. "I-I... I... I could never hurt Emil. Honestly. That would be like, unimaginable... Apart from anything else, he's too cute!"

"I cannot believe you just threatened my boyfriend, Lukas..." Emil groaned, ignoring Leon. "You did not just do that..."

Lukas smirked at his brother, then straightened his features. "Right, well, now that's been taken care of-"

"Are you guys coming to live with us?!" Matthias cut in, grinning widely and earning him a slap over the head from Lukas. It was a wonder he hadn't before, his loud nature disallowing him to remain quiet for a long amount of time.

"Sure, why not?" Leon said happily.

Emil stared at him. "Leon. We're going to Norway. A different country. You live here. In Denmark."

"So? I only live with my brother. We like, travel a lot. Kiku and I were planning to move somewhere else after I'd like, finished my exams anyway. I can ask him if we can go to Norway!" Leon said happily.

"Oh, yeah, I'd forgotten you two like to travel..." Emil said . "So... I suppose we are coming with you two... Will Arthur be okay with that?"

Lukas blinked a few times, wondering how things in their lives managed to happen so damn quickly. "Ja... I'm sure he will be... So, to clarify, Emil's coming with us, and you and your brother are going to just... Move to Norway? On the spur of the moment?"

"Yep!" Leon said cheerfully. "As I said, we travel a lot."

"Right..."

Matthias saw the small frown on the Norwegian's face and hugged him. "Stop frowning, Luke! Smile! Frowns give you wrinkles~!"

Lukas stared at him. He didn't realise it, but in doing so, his expression brightened into something a little less tired, causing Matthias to beam even more brightly.

"So..." Lukas slipped his phone out of his pocket. "We need to plan. You, Leon, need to tell your - brother, was it? And when are we three going to leave?"

"I'm ready whenever..."

"A few weeks. I need to apply for some colleges and shit, then we can go," Matthias said. Lukas nodded and made a note on his phone.

A bit of time and coffee later, they had a plan.

"So, to summarise, we're leaving in four weeks' time; Leon and his brother will meet up with us as soon as they move; we're staying with Arthur and whichever one of his brothers is home. We'll get our own place as soon as we can, Matthias will go to college, I'll go to the school Lukas would have gone to had he wanted to 'further his education' in Norway, Lukas will go back to skiing and all that other stuff. Clear?" Emil asked.

"Crystal," the others replied, not quite smooth enough to be in unison.

"Good. Now phone Arthur, tell him I'm coming with you, then we can all go home and see each other in a months' time."

Lukas questioned just how his brother had become the leader of this all, but went with it anyway. The call was made, and they parted ways.

However, when both Lukas and Leon were preoccupied, Emil whispered in the Dane's ear in a dangerous tone, "Hurt my brother and I'll hurt you."

Well, like brother, like brother, I suppose.

A/N

I'm so sorry that I'm about an hour late, guys... I had a bit of a panic attack when I lost half of the next chapter... In any case, I hope you enjoyed this. And guess what?! It's the end of term! Well, half-term. But whatever, a week off! And that brings me to bad news: I'm afraid there will not be an update next week, as I will be in Mallorca again, sans WiFi. I'm sorry! Please don't hate me! I'm just glad to be escaping this horrible weather... *shivers as lights flicker due to storm*

On another note, in case you hadn't deduced as much, this story is drawing to a close. I know, I know, my plot is pretty awful therefore it wasn't necessarily obvious, but I'm afraid that's how it is... There are a few more chapters, but the main events have been covered. I, for one, am in slight disbelief... How will I know what day it is without my updates to plan around?! ^^

That leads me to my last point: Happy Valentine's Day! I blow you all kisses, Francis-style!

Goodnight!
