Hey guys! Sorry this took SOOOO long! Ugh! I don't actually know why it took forever and a half... I just get really distracted, and have a lot on, and read a lot and yeah... But yay! Here it is, brought to you by Squidscool, and so it's not massively long, but I really would like feedback on whether you prefer massive ones(like 2000-3000 words) or ones of about 1000-1500? Anyway, enjoy!

Lena walked to the Great Hall feeling like she was walking on air. She had a brilliant day. Her last period was care of magical creatures with the Gryffindors, the boys in that house were so funny! She knew class wasn't meant to be a time when just just stand around laughing until It hurts, but the teacher was too. He was really funny as well, but more indirectly, he was like a giant, and he had a really cool accent, and his manner was just kind of funny. Lena loved this place already.

She had also made a friend, Amanda, they were in the same dormitory, they weren't very close or anything but she seemed really nice. She was a muggle born and had so many great stories about the muggle world.

Amanda and Lena had spent their afternoon in the Ravenclaw common room, doing their homework (they had to read the introductory chapters for Transfiguration, Charms, DADA and Herbology) and talking. Lena was a little homesick, but her twin and older siblings were in her house, and constantly checked up on her, so it wasn't too bad.

It was now dinner time, and the stairs and corridors were so crowded with hungry students, Lena could barely see where she was going. But that didn't dampen her mood, she was just so elated that she was finally here.

At last she made it through the massive doors guarding the Great Hall. It was even more amazing tonight, because she wasn't so nervous. The roof had countless constellations covering every inch of it, and the moon was full. There were lots of people smiling and laughing and Lena couldn't help but smile as well. She and Amanda took seat at the Ravenclaw table when she was tapped on the shoulder, she turned around expecting to see one of her siblings, but instead she saw Silvie, a girl she met on the train.

Silvie had been anxious to see Lena all day, she was kind of upset they weren't in the same house, because they had so much in common. Silvie wrapped her arms around Lena as soon as she stood up, and Lena actually hugged her back. Silvie knew she must be in a really good mood to have done that, because even though they didn't they didn't know each other all that well, she could tell Lena wasn't much of a hugger.

"How was your day?!" Silvie exclaimed, letting her go.

"Amazing! Your's?" Lena asked, excitement was clear in her tone.

"Exactly like I always dreamed! I love charms so much! And guess what, we have flying with the Slytherins. I mean I like most people, but they bullied Katie in her first year."

"Oh no! Thats so awful! But maybe that was just them..."

"Yeah, I'm being really stereotypical, any way, I'd better be off, see you at breakfast?" Silvie smiled and turned to walk away.

She sat down at the Hufflepuff table, and started collecting some of the food. It all smelled so amazing Silvie had no idea what to pick! She struck up a conversation with the girl next to her, Aine. The only problem was that Aine wasn't very interested. She seemed to be looking for someone, which made Silvie really uncomfortable.

"Oh Azealia! There you are!" Aine shouted while Silvie was mid-sentence.

"Bye," Silvie grumbled to Aine, who didn't even notice. Silvie looked to the person on the other side of her, it was a guy who was in sixth year, Nick, he came over in the holidays all the time, because her brother was such good friends with him.

"Nick! How are you? I haven't seen you in FOREVER! Where were you this afternoon?" Silvie questioned Nick excitedly, while embracing him.

"Whoa, little one," Little one was his nickname for Silvie, "Calm down! I was just a Quidditch practise, we still have a full team! And I'm captain again!" Nick said, though his expression didn't show any great thrill, the tone of his voice couldn't hide it. He let go of Silvie and ruffled her hair, something Silvie wasn't very fond of. She pulled her long hair out, and left it. It was so straight even the braids she had put them in for the last day hadn't produced so much as one golden brown curl.

Azealia was talking to Aine. The two girls had spent all afternoon together, not doing their homework. Azealia was kind of sad they weren't both in the same house, but they could hang out like this every afternoon.

"I think it's time for dinner now..." Aine said quietly.

"Oh... Yeah, sucks we have to sit in our houses..." Azealia said, feeling deflated, she really liked Aine, didn't want to sit with the other Slytherins without her.

"Do you have any clue how to get back to the Entrance Hall? Because I'm really confused." Aine said, half jokingly, and half nervously. They had walked around the grounds all afternoon, not paying much attention to where they were actually going. That probably wasn't the best idea. They were walking on a strip between the forest they were told not to go into, and the lake they sailed to the school on.

"Ummmm... I think we came from this direction, right?" Azealia asked, finding this actually really funny.

"No, we came from this direction!" Aine replied her voice cracking with suppressed laughter. The laughter wasn't suppressed for much longer though. Aine started giggling and so did Azealia. They kept laughing, until they fell to the ground. After a few minutes of watery eyes and sore ribs the girls managed to stand, though they hadn't quite finished laughing. They started stumbling off in some direction that could've be right.

"Oh! There it is! I mean thats the back of it... But thats it!" Azealia said pointing at the far off castle. It was just starting to settle on her the fact that they were on the wrong side of the lake. They would have to walk all the way around it. The giggles were starting again as she looked around at Aine. After a moment of looking at each other both of the girls took off on a run. A silent agreement they somehow made. Both of the girls were sprinting as though their lives depended on it, and their dinners did, so it was basically the same difference.

After about five minutes the slumped against the Entrance Hall doors, and forced them open with their tiny bit of remaining energy. Azealia felt like collapsing on the marble floor, but she somehow managed to get to the Slytherin table. She puffed a goodbye to Aine and fell on to a spare space on the bench, and put her head on the table, breathing heavily.

She reached out and grabbed a glass of pumpkin juice and downed it really quickly. She then found the jug and refilled her glass, several times. She took a deep and served her dinner.
