Hello Fanfiction Fans to whom this might concern. My name is Curtis. I started this story years ago when I was still in high school. I eventually got lazy and stopped finding the time to persue completing in. Years later bleach has ended and I find myself wanting more from the amaing world Kubo has given to us all. So I decided to reboot my story and release the chapters in a better, more organized fashion. I understand that the beginning need more that work but unfortunately my laziness haven't subsided lol. However if I get enough reviews I'll muser up the strength to rewrite the entire thing. For now however I'll just continue where I left off. I wanna give myself a little more time to complete more chapters before I release the reboot so that the chapters can be released steadily and frequently. But I couldn't wait to post the first chapter. Please be sure to leave reviews as it does encourage me to get off my ass and write. Considering the continuing request for another chapter over the years is what inspired the reboot in the first place. Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy. The second chapter (chapter 13) should be released on Monday 11/14.
Nami and Chopper raced through the hallways of Las Noches. With Chopper sprinting at full speed, Nami slowly started to fall behind.
"Chopper slow down! Do you even know where your going? We're going in the opposite direction I came from. At this rate we'll wind up too lost to find our way out." Nami explained.
"I don't know how, but I can feel Orihime's Presence, and it's getting closer. I can't just leave her here all alone. We have to take her with us, so we can all escape together. She made it so that I didn't feel alone while trapped here. She was so kind and was always smiling. Even though I know she was scared to death, just like I was. I told her to be strong, that her friends were coming to save her. Well now I'm her friend too." Said Chopper determined.
"Geez I hope she's worth it" said Nami with worry. The two pressed on down the hallway.
(back in Karakura town)
"AAAAAHHHHHH!" Kon yelled as he tried his best to avoid the rampaging, giant hollow chasing him. "What was that jerk urahara thinking!? I don't stand a chance against this thing."
Franky finally started to regain his consciousness. "That was a hell of a punch." Franky stood up with ease and dusted himself off. He looked at the palm of his hand hand and squeezed it shut, then released it. "But it's almost like I never even got hit." He thought to himself. Just then he heard an explosion. He quickly turned the cause to find a hysterical Kon running from a pursuing hollow.
"HEEEEEEEEELLLLLPPP! Cyborg! Urahara! Somebody!" Kon screamed. He looked behind him, only to find a grinning Franky had jumped behind him and faced the hollow. "When did he-" Kon thought in shock.
Franky extended his arms and a small metal tub extended out of one of his palms. His arms started to expand and his mechanical eye locked on to the charging hollow. "Coup De Burst!" A powerful air blast shot the hollow dead in its face, sending it flying back into a close by building. Franky's hair that usually stood straight up, feel limp on his face.
A wide eyed Kon starred at Franky in awe. "Who the hell is this guy? He isn't even a shinigami." He thought to himself. Kon ran up to Franky who was standing tall. "That was amazing! How in the world can you be so strong?"
"Because I'm a SUPER hero bro." Said Franky with a thumbs up and a sparkle in his sunglasses.
"WOW! So cool!" Said Kon still in awe over the awesomeness that is Franky.
The two then stopped when they heard a big crash. It was the hollow emerging from the rubble of the building it was knocked into. Angrier than ever.
"How in the world could that thing still be alive after that!?" Said Kon shocked to the point of exhaustion.
In an instant the hollow sprung toward them and flung a powerful punch. Both Kon and Franky quickly but barely dodged the punch in separate directions. The hollow without a second thought jolted in the direction that Franky jumped and swiftly caught him with its hands.
"Fr-Franky!" Kon called out. The Hollow held Franky up to its mouth and gave a mighty roar. "Y-you can break outta that right? You can't lose, you're a super hero." Said Kon not believing what he was witnessing.
"I can't, it's too strong. I used up all of my cola in that last attack. It's up to you Kon!" Yelled Franky desperate.
"I can't, I can't fight that thing. I'm not strong enough." Said Kon terrified.
"Yes you can little bro. You can't let me get eaten by this thing. I trust you, and so the does The blonde guy with the hat. Otherwise he wouldn't have sent you with me. So grow some balls and help me goddammit!" Yelled Franky as he approached the hollows mouth.
Kon balled up his fists I help his head to the ground. "He's right. If I couldn't even save him from a simple hollow, how can I call myself a hero. What would Orihime-Chan say if I let him get eaten?" Kon thought his himself. A quick image Orihime popped into Kon's mind. "You're nothing like Kurosaki-Kun. He would have never let that cyborg get eaten. You're nothing but a worthless coward" said the imaginary Orihime with her head turn up at Kon, not even looking at him. "She's right, I am nothing but a worthless coward. I'm sorry Franky, I'm sorry Orihime-Chan." Kon said defeated. Kon then leaped into to air twoard the hollow. "No, I'm not a worthless coward, I'm a super hero!" Said Kon as he flew through the air approaching the hollow. "Beside what would Orihime-Chan think if I pull this off." Another image of Orihime appeared. "Kon-Sama is the best. He's much better that Kurosaki. He's so brave! I love him so much!" Said the imaginary Orihime with glee. "This is for you Orihime-Chan!" As Kon approached the hollows face he pulled back his arm and prepared for his attack. "KARAKURA PUNCH!" Kon punched the hollow with all of his might. But despite all the determination, it ultimately had no effect at all. "Wh-wha?" Kon said shocked.
The hollow took the hand that was gripping Franky and threw him, smashing him directly into Kon. Swatting Kon out of its face and sending them both flying. They both crashed to the ground crippled by the impact.
Franky managed to muster up the strength to raise his head. To his left was an unconscious Kon with a bloody and teary face. He looked in front of him and saw a slowly but surly approaching hollow. "Shit, this can't be how it all ends. I gotta get up. The blonde bro told me he'd help me save Chopper if I-" just then Franky eyes got wide as he suddenly remembered the present that Urahara had given him. He pushed his upper body up with his arms and looked around to locate it. Sure enough he spotted it not a moment too soon. "Alright" said Franky getting up while carrying an unconscious Kon over his shoulders. "Looks like that box is our only hope." Franky stated as he ran toward the box.
The hollow started to increase in speed as it acknowledged their attempt to escape. Seeing this Franky started running as fast as his legs would allow him to.
Ultimately, being smarter than it looked, the hollow beat Franky to the box by a hair. It picked it up, took one look at it, and began to tilt its head back and open its mouth. With the intention to devour the object that was but a crum compared to the hollows size.
With no words, Franky watched in distress with his eyes wide at the horror that was about to take place. As the hollow released the present and it fell to its mouth. A single arm appeared at the top of its mouth and caught it dead in it's tracks. Franky's eyes grew even wider as he witnessed this event "no...way" he said shocked. The arm chucked the box to Franky and he drops Kon to catch it, with Kon landing on his head.
Franky opened the present and his heart dropped as he saw 3 soda bottles that read "Karakura Cola."
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR HUH!?" Yelled Kon holding his hand. He then let out a huge screech as he accessed the situation he was in. With Franky in front of him, and the hollow a few feet in front of Franky. "Franky we gotta get outta here now!" Yelled Kon realizing that was impossible considering he couldn't move. He then witnessed the box from the present fall to the ground.
With a huge grin on the face, Franky inserted the bottles into his cola compartment. He hummed as he felt the power surge through his body. As the power reach it's maximum capacity, he exploded with a "SUUUUUUUUUPPPPPPPEEEERRRRRRRR!" The hollow bolted head first to swallow both Franky and Kon once and for all. Franky pulled off the seeming skin on his hand to reveal a metal hand. He pulled back, and as soon as the the hollows face was close enough. He punched it with all of his might "STRONG HAMMER." Instead of knocking it back, Franky's punch seemed to shatter the hollow. After which there was no more trace of it at all.
Sitting on the ground speechless, Kon just starred with his mouth wide open. He then felt himself being thrown onto Franky's shoulder, then being carried away. " Wh-Where are you going now?" Asked Kon as that was the only thing he could mutter.
"To go find the blonde guy. He told me if I could kill something called a Minos Hollow, then I would prove myself strong enough to save my friend. In which he would assist me if I succeeded. Now that I have, there's no time to wait. Isn't that right, Nico Robin?"
Robin then revealed herself. Seeming to appear out of nowhere, yet already beside Franky "of course" she said with a grin.
