Jordan ultimately choose not to attend dinner since his discomfort would have been pretty obvious. 'If I have to sit through one more dinner with Natalie paying more attention to Minato than me, I will personally wring his neck.'

A stroll through the castle was his next best choice. He decided to eat a late night snack that the chief would be more than happy to supply him with.

The Avatar admitted that the castle was rather quite quiet during Natalie's absence. However upon her arrival, the spirit of the castle seemed to be instantly uplifted.

'Except for the fact that Minato was the one that found her and not me.' The golden entity weighs to himself as his fists clench together from anger.

'Why am I allowing this girl to upset me so much?!' He demands from himself.

The young man registers that he feels anger for once ever since his transformation from a human being to Avatar.

'It is rather quite simple...she makes you feel as if you were human again.' The thought emerged from his subconscious mind.

He recalled her facial expression that she sent his way the instant their eyes connected with each another. 'She seemed completely uninterested in my title nor my looks.'

'Not only that but she saw right through my disguise. Even though it was fairly obvious but everyone else fell for it.' Jordan determined once he remembered how he bartered information for a date with the raven haired woman.

'It was then that she had turned your attack against you that revealed some of your own personal darkest secret.' He could hear himself speak.

'Indeed she's one of a kind…' The golden entity inwardly deemed since he never had one of his attacks used against him. Let only allow someone to venture in the darkest crevices of his mind.

'Yet, you just had to be the jerk that you typically are and pushed her away. What am I going to do with you?' He was listening to himself belittling himself.

Jordan merely continues on his stroll through the corridors of Noursaia Kingdom Royal Family castle while he wages war on his own conscious.

Aikka gently pushed his wife in a wheelchair along the smooth floors of her adopted home. She came to really love it as if it was her personal own home on Earth.

"I didn't know you were going to take the initiative to start preparations for the Dance of the Flowers." He remarks to his wife.

They soon made it to the confinements of their master bedroom.

"If you want something done then you should do it yourself." Eva simply responds before he helps her out of the wheelchair and onto the surface of the bed.

She releases a heavy labored breath at the sudden change of direction for her body, "Are you alright?"

The young woman opens both her eyes only to note her husband's concern face, "It was just...the sudden movement caught me off guard but I'm fine."

"Are you sure that you still want to plan the Dance of the Flowers?" The Noursaian poses before he lifts her feet on to the surface of the bed.

Her crimson eyes diverts to him and asserts, "It's the only ball that I get to plan for! But knowing your mother...she would want me to rest so I wouldn't strain the health of your children."

She automatically recognizes that his current facial expression resembles one his mother would generally wear. "Alright...I will plan alongside with your mother but there is something that I want to be in control of though."

"Whatever it is that you want you can do it. I'm sure my mom would agree with whatever your plan maybe." The orange haired male replies after he carts the wheelchair off toward the closet. He then made his way onto the bed.

"I can't wait to drop this load. They're starting to feel really heavy." The pregnant woman redirects the topic of their conversation.

She knew all too well that her husband absolutely love to talk about pregnancy, the twins or their unborn children.

Aikka could only smile after heard what his wife said since she knew that he loved to talk about having kids in order to extend his family line.

"I haven't forgotten that we agreed to a one year break after this pregnancy but that might be too hard to do." He sincerely comments since he has a feeling that was the reason as to why Eva brought the subject up.

She ruffles his mop of hair with one of her hands and claims, "That's why I love you so much."

"Rick told me that I should ask you about something very important." He confronts her with a serious look on his face.

'Don't tell me dad told Minato about what I just found out already?' She thought to herself as she silently prayed hard that her thought was not true.

"Like I said earlier, go ahead I'm all ears?" Natalie unknowingly repeats part of her question. The young woman mentally slaps herself since she just sets herself up for the kill.

"Remember when we were younger, how my master and I use to visit you two." Minato starts the flashback as she mentally groans at how accurate her thought process was.

"Yeah, how can I forget when you two use to always pop up out of the blue at our door with wide toothy smiles…" The raven haired woman responds while she silently hope that he would not ask her that question.

"Those were the good times weren't they? Anyway, Rick told me that there was another reason as to why we were always meeting each other. Can you tell me what that is?" He poses to her.

The captain merely about faced, started off in a brisk pace, and proclaimed, "I don't feel like answering that question right now!"

The blonde was caught off guard by her response because she was always upfront with him whenever he would ask her any questions.

'Please don't tell me he saw it…' She was thinking to herself as referring to her now pink cheeks while keeping her head down the entire time.

"Come on now," The knight desperately begs her after he manages to match her short strides with his long ones, "Why can't you tell me?"

"I don't feel like it." The raven haired woman refutes yet she admantly refuses to look at his face and yield him an answer to his question.

"Since when did you not feel like telling me what is on your mind?" Minato probes still in shock that Natalie constantly avoids the question.

"Starting now. I don't see what the big deal is about the question you asked me?!"

"So why don't you answer the question? If it isn't a big deal." Hs attempts to coax the answer out of her.

"Simple because I don't feel like it okay. If you keep pushing me then I won't give you the answer." She merely rebuffs his question with a threat.

"Is it anything dealing with our relationship?" He pauses in his steps as that seems to be the last thing he could think of that would cause her to avoid him.

His question prompts her to temporarily cease in her attempt to escape as her back remained toward him. Her green eyes peeked over her shoulder to register the serious expression on his face when he told her that.

"Look...it's starting to get late and I need some sleep. If it is bothering you that much I will fill you in tomorrow." She proposes to him as that seem to be the only way to get him off of her back.

"Alright then, I will see you first thing tomorrow morning." The young man knew that if he continued to push then she would shut down completely.

The woman knew she was able to create her golden opportunity to leave since she knows how persistent Minato can be when it comes down to something he wants to know.

'That was too close…' She thought to herself on the way back to her room.

The night soon shifts to day as all those who reside on Noursaia thankfully counts their blessings, says their daily prays, and exchanges phrases of love to their loved ones before they start of their day.

Natalie was suddenly sensing the vibe that someone was watching her in her sleep. She was slow to open her eyes.

"Good morning." She overhears someone cordially greets her while she drowsily rubs the sleep out of her eyes with one of her hands.

The raven haired woman quickly sits up and faces the direction of the voice.

'Is that Minato?' The solider inwardly presumes to herself in disbelief at the blurry hue of yellow in front of her.

The raven haired beauty repeatedly blinks a couple of times before she finally realizes just how close their faces were to one another.

This caused a delayed reaction for Natalie, who leapt backward from the surface of the bed and away from the that moment, she forgotten that the bed was only so wide that she haphazardly crashed down on to the floor.

"Natalie, are you alright?!" The young man nervously inquires after he watches what just happen to the woman.

The raven haired woman gently rubbed the spot where she landed on the hardest. She constantly repeats stifles of "ouchs" as if it were to verbally soothe the pain.

"Could you be any more forward this morning?" Natalie verbally complains while she was focuses in on her current pain.

"You of all people should know how I am. I said I would see you first thing tomorrow morning yesterday." The knight dutifully explains his current presence in her room.

She knew he had a point and silently hated that part of him. "You want to know something...you really are difficult."

"I just wanted to know the answer to my question from yesterday. So spill it..." Minato declares not aware of how close his face was to hers.

The captain releases a sigh and realizes that she could no longer continue to maneuver around the million dollar question.

"Since you insist upon hearing the reason as to why we always were meeting when we were little it was because…" Natalie was cut off when the two glance up to note Princess Mai currently at her door.

"Oh," Mai utters once she beholds the raven haired woman currently on the floor with the blonde's face awfully close to hers while he slightly hovers over her in a protective stance.

"Did I interrupt anything?" She awkwardly quips in an innocent manner at what she currently witnesses with her own two eyes.

The woman closes her eyes before she replies to her question. "No, Minato just came in to check on me. He heard me roll out of my bed and hit the floor hard."

The princess seem to accept that as a good excuse and responds, "I guess I will just see you two at breakfast then."

Minato's focus instantly returns to Natalie once Princess Mai leaves them alone, "You can continue with answering the question."

"My father and your master thought it would be fun to conduct a little experiment with the both of us. So they conjured up the idea of playing matchmaker."

"They thought that we naturally suited each other since we were complete polar opposites."

"My dad told your master that opposites indeed attract but your master denied it. So we just serve as their little guinea pigs to see who was right." She fully explains to him all while she avoids direct eye contact with his face.

The young man suddenly brusts in to a fit of laughter after what she just reveals to him.

The raven haired beauty was opening one of her eyes to watch Minato cracking up in hysteria after hearing the answer to his question.

"Those two…are very...sneaky." He says in between bouts of laughter.

Natalie could not help but to shake her head at him for still being the goofy blond twit that she grew up with. She soon was finding herself laughing along with him and his infectious laughter.

By then the two was not aware that a maid entered in to the bedroom. "Lady Natalie and Sir Minato, the King and Queen want to see you two in their quarters."
