Archer part 2
"Phrasing." Leonard muttered.
They had all been chilling at the bridge when Ray had said something to Kendra that definitely qualified for a "phrasing".He whispered it to himself but apparently everyone else heard him, evident by the way they all stared at him. They all nodded in silent agreement except for Kendra and Ray who were still in their own little world. Everyone went back to their conversations until Leonard overheard Stein telling Jax something about him being a "total Archer".
"Well if he's Archer then who's Lana?" Jax whispered back
"Obviously Sara." Stein replied. They should really use that psychic link more often, Leonard thought, not evening straining to eavesdrop on them.
"Nope. Not happening." Sara retorted, looking up from where she was playing cards with Leonard. He was smirking which signaled to Sara that he wasn't going to let it go.
"What's the matter, Lana?" He drawled back. Damn Snart and his sexy drawl, Sara thought.
"Seriously? I get you being Archer but I'm not Lana." She shot back at him.
"Come on assassin, I didn't think you were this stupid. You might as well slap on a brown wig and some tech nines. You've got the skills, the sass, and the obvious attraction to Archer- who in this case is me."
"I agree with one thing in that statement which is you being Archer. Who, aside from being an arrogant asshole, is desperately in love with Lana- who in this case I guess, is me."
"You two quit fighting and get a room already!" Stein yelled, which shocked everybody. The truth though was that he had been observing their relationship blossom for months now and decided that this flirty fight was the breaking point. If they were ever going to do something about it, now should be the time. In his mind, he was only just helping to speed up the process.
They didn't have a reply to this but started walking down the hallway where their rooms were.
"So, Lana, what's this I hear about you having a crush on me?"
"Just a rumor, unfortunately for you. And what's this I hear about you having a crush on me, Archer?"
"You want to find out the answer to that rumor Lance?" When she raised an eyebrow at him he continued. "You're gonna have to come and get it." He said, sauntering off to his room.
Meanwhile on the Bridge
"We really shouldn't be watching this. This feels wrong." Ray said, shifting feet anxiously. The rest of the team shushed him to make sure they didn't miss anything. They currently had Gideon projecting the live feed from the hallway where Sara and Leonard were. It wasn't until they heard "You're gonna have to come and get it" that Ray and Jax looked away. And it wasn't until the screen showed the two of them making out in the hallway outside of Leonard's door that the rest of them looked away.
