Chapter 52: A Little too Not Over You

Delete this picture?

Yes

Are you sure?

…no

I sighed heavily, slumping into my bed. It's been a few hours since I've cried. Specifically, five hours ago. Five long hours ago, I've cried my heart out. For five long hours I've been thinking whether to delete or keep the picture. The picture was taken about a year ago, when they drag me into ridding the Ferris wheel. It's the only picture I have with the Terror Twins in it. Deciding whether to delete or keep the picture was harder than I thought.

My eyes were probably bloodshot because of staring at the bright screen and crying of course. Even though I've stopped crying about… it hours ago, sometime in that time and until now, I still feel like my tears were whelming up. I sniffled. Even remembering about it makes me want to cry again. I wiped the tears away and ran my fingers through my hair, staring at my cell phone. My hand covered my mouth when a yawn escaped my lips.

Apparently, crying for hours makes you sleepy and depressed.

I slapped myself. Pull yourself together.

What would Mikaela do? What would Yvonne do? I know what their previous boyfriends are like. Mikaela broke up with Trent easily and Yvonne slapped some senses into her ex. Yeah, they both handled it very well. So why can't I do the same? I blinked a few times, shaking my head furiously. What am I thinking? The Terror Twins and I aren't even going out. I don't need to feel sad or depressed when… when they said that I'm nothing to them.

I sniffled once more… oh boy, here comes the tears. I wiped them away using my tear-soaked sleeve and curled up to a ball, hugging my knees tightly. I buried my face in my arms, trying to at least stop crying. I know moving on was hard, so the least I can do is to stop crying to avoid suspicion. Ratchet would definitely demand answers on why my eyes are puffy and bloodshot. And I can't forget about Ironhide. The mech would probably annoy the heck out of me until he got the answers he want.

The clock ticks repeatedly and the rhythm was steady, just like a normal beating heart. Unlike mine, it was beating faster than a normal rate. I could feel it pounding against my chest. I don't know why, but all I could think of right now are the Twins. No matter how much I tried to think of something else, they just kept on popping back. My heart aches when I saw their smile, their smile for Silverstreak.

They used to give smiles to me, but now they've moved on.

Silverstreak is back now and they left me to stand alone.

If only I can go back in time, I'll stop myself from ever meeting the Twins. That way, I won't face this kind of heartbreak. Then again, if I didn't meet the Twins, I don't get to meet the Autobots and don't have a chance to have a family who cares. I do love the Autobots and my foster family, just… not the Twins right now.

I moved my gaze slightly to look at the clock. 23:54 PM, it reads. I sighed heavily, it was almost midnight and I still can't go to sleep. I turned to look straight at the books on my desk, staring at them for a few seconds. I crawled to the edge of my bed, grabbing the neatly stacked books. I snatched a pencil and my note book as well. I opened the Big Book of Brain to the marked page and flipped the pages of my note book to an empty page. I tapped the end of my pencil on my chin, staring at the two opened books.

I sighed and dropped my pencil to my bed. It was useless to write down notes. My mind has too many thoughts in it. I lay back down on the bed on my back, staring at the dull colored ceiling. The grey colors seemed to match my mood. Glum.

Another heavy sigh escaped my lips as I turn my head slightly to the side, looking at my headphones. I bit my bottom lip before grabbing the headphones and the mp3 player. I placed the headphones on my head, adjusting it to the right position. I sat in an Indian style position as I turned on the music, setting it to shuffle.

We were both young when I first saw you.

I closed my eyes and opened them again as the song began to play. A Taylor Swift song… Jazz must've input it in my mp3 player when I wasn't using it. I hummed along with the song as it continues to play. My mind and heart began to relax a little, forgetting about what had happened earlier.

That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles
And my daddy said stay away from Juliet
And I was crying on the stair case…

More like 'That you were the Romeo-s, you were breaking my heart'. I thought angrily, thinking up on my own lyrics. I blinked and took in a deep breath. I simply don't know where that anger came from…

It's a love story baby just say yes

I played the pencil between my fingers as that lyric was sung over again.

A love story huh?

Bumblebee shifted uncomfortably on his wheels. His tires turn left and right, squeaking against the floor. He was the only one left in the main hangar. The humans were no longer working on night shifts. Ratchet had strictly forbid them to stay up late and ruin their eight hours of sleep. Not only has the medic forbid the humans, but also the Autobots. They were all in their assigned berth-rooms, all except one, the loyal scout himself.

Half an hour ago, the scout sneaked out of his berth-room when he saw Ratchet step in the med bay. His sensitive audio-receptors heard a clicking noise from the inside and presumed that Ratchet has—as usual—locked himself in the med bay.

His axles lowered as he vented heavily. Earlier today, he accidentally saw Jen crying, clutching her shirt tightly as she shiver violently. The scout felt guilty for not being by her side when she needed him most. He was about to…but she already ran off to who knows where. After that curiosity took him over, he silently walked towards the large door. He leaned forward and quickly retreated. No wonder Jen cried and ran away, Sideswipe and Sunstreaker broke her spark yet again.

As quietly as he can, he turned on his engine and drove out of the main hangar, driving towards the humans' hangar. It can be access by going through the main hangar, but it's a bit far and he has to walk there as well. His holoform doesn't really do any good if it's at a far distance. After a few minutes of driving, he stopped right in front of a hangar.

His driver's door opened with a clunk. A handsome tall blonde stepped out of the yellow Camaro, glancing around anxiously. He straightened his jacket and gulped as he tucked in his hands into his yellow jacket's pockets. The door slammed shut with another clunk and the yellow Camaro parked itself between the shadows of the two hangars.

The holoform took out an id card from his pocket and slide it on the security device. The light switched from red to a green color. He grabbed the handle and pushed it down, opening the door with a creek. He stepped inside, not forgetting to close the door. Apparently, the scout watched a movie—about a boy not closing the door and an evil villain went in and stole a time machine.

His shoes made clopping noises against the metal floor. He was carefully not to make too much noise. Some of the NEST's soldiers might still be up, but it was impossible. It was three in the morning. He shook his head. The more he thinks about the time, the more he thinks why he visits Jen at this time of hour. It was rather absurd. He was going to check on her. Yeah, check, that's it.

Bumblebee stopped right in front of a door, hesitating to knock it. He took in a deep breath and grabbed the handle, but didn't turn it. His hand released the handle, showing hesitation and nervousness. He pressed his ear against the door, listening carefully. His sensitive human ear heard light snoring and a rather beat up music, playing.

"Jen?" Bumblebee whispered as he opened the door. He peek his head inside the room. His electric blue eyes glowed inside the dim lighted room. The only thing that was lighting the room was the small table lamp. He opened the door a little wider to step inside. He closed the door behind him and slowly approached a sleeping blonde. He placed a hand on her shoulder, an eyebrow raised. "Jen? Jen? Jennifer?" He repeated in a whisper.

Jen shifted on her seat and buried her face in her arms. "Forty six times two equals eighty two…" she mumbled in her sleep.

Bumblebee blinked three times before chuckling lightly. "I guess I have to hold that talk till tomorrow…" He said, scratching the back of his head with a sheepish smile.

He grabbed the headphones and pressed the stop button. Quietly, he placed the items on the desk and gently pulled Jen away from the table, trying his best not to wake her up. Carefully, he slides his hand under her shoulders and under her knees. He lifted her up with ease. He let out a small 'up you get' under his breath as he carried her to her bed. The scout gently placed her in bed and pulled up the blanket.

"Sixty two minus three equal four…" He heard Jen mumbled as she rolled to her side.

Bumblebee stifled a laugh. "Man… you sure do know how to do math while sleeping." He said sarcastically, talking to himself. He smiled as he brushed a long strand of hair out of Jen's face. He leaned down and kissed her forehead. "Good night Jen, sweet dreams." He stood back up.

-x-x-x-x-x-(Jen's POV)-x-x-x-x-x-

"Oh man Silver! You're the greatest!"

I blinked my eyes as I began to hear a disembodied voice.

"Yeah! It's been less boring since you came!"

Another voice said cheerfully. I glanced around, trying to find the source of the voice, but it was pitch black. I hated the dark, I always hate it. Beads of sweat rolled down my forehead, I felt a tingling feeling around my mouth and my fingertips. I sat down. My breathing began to speed up as panic consumed me. I was hyperventilating.

"You're the best!"

I hugged my knees, burying my face in my arms. The voices kept on saying good things about Silverstreak. I tried to block away the voices, but it was no use, I could still hear it loud and clear. My eyes were closed tightly as I tried to calm down. I took in a few deep breathes before opening my eyes. It was blurry at first as my eyes tried to adjust. After a few more seconds, I saw something shining from under what seemed to be a door.

Heavy footsteps and light ones were heard. I also heard people talking from the other side of the door. I gulped, standing up nervously. My hand reached out for the handle. I hesitated to turn it around. I took in a deep breath, gathering the courage I need. I turned the handle around and pulled it back as the door creaked open.

I was consumed by light. I covered my eyes with my hand as I stepped out of the dark room. The muffled noises began to clear and as so as my vision. My eyes widened a little as I saw that I was in the main hanger. I stood there as many NEST soldiers walked pass by me. I scratched the back of my neck. It's funny though. I don't remember sleeping in a dark closet.

"Oh you're so awesome Silver!" I heard laughter from a crowd not far from where I stood.

Curious, I approached the crowd, stopping a few times as a soldier cross paths with me. I stood on my toes, trying to beat the soldiers' height. I smiled when I saw my friends sitting in a circle. My smile widened when I saw Yvonne and Mikaela were getting along perfectly. I slipped pass the crowd to approach my friends. Samuel and Leo were here too, and so were my step-dad and Robert.

"I didn't know that you can defeat two of those slagging Cons with your bare servos, Silver! Single handedly too!" I look up when I heard Sideswipe's voice.

My heart aches when I saw his face. It seems like he doesn't know that I'm here.

"Yeah, you're way better than the human girl we met." Sunstreaker said, emphasizing the word 'way'.

I bit my bottom lip. What does it feels like he was talking about me?

Mikaela giggled. "You're right."

My gaze switched over to Mikaela. What…?

Yvonne nodded her head in agreement, a bright smile on her face. "Yup! You're way fun!" she said.

My mouth was slightly open when I heard Yvonne say that.

"Don't forget smarter too." Samuel added, raising his finger.

I balled up my hands into tight fists as my lips began to quiver, tears threatening to come out from my eyes. That really hurts me…

Dad chuckled. "Man… I wish I have a daughter like you." he said.

That stabbed me right through the heart…

I saw a couple of more Autobots nodded their helms in agreement.

Sideswipe and Sunstreaker smiled. "You're the best femme ever." Sideswipe began, wrapping an arm around Silverstreak's shoulders as Sunstreaker just smiled. "We love you." they both said in unison.

That killed me… and now I'm dead.

"Mikaela, Yvonne, I'm—" I reached my hands out to touch their shoulders. I gasped loudly and backed away from the two girls. I stared at my shivering hands with fear. Tears began to pour out of my eyes. My hands just went through them… it's like… it's like that I'm a ghost to them.

I stayed frozen, my head ducked down as my tears began to fall onto the floor. Everything seemed to move further away from me. Darkness came back and painted everything black. My knees finally gave up. I sat on the cold floor, crying like there's no tomorrow. Crying…sobbing…wishing that I never met everyone.

Ever since I befriend with the Autobots, nothing has ever been the same.

I wished everything would go back to things they were…

I hate everyone now.

I hate the twins and Silverstreak.

I wished for everyone to disappear.

maybe I should join the Decepticons instead. At least they won't ignore me and compare me to someone else.

"Sweet dreams." My eyes widened as someone grabbed both of my upper arms in a firm, but gentle grip and whispered softly in my ear. And then he planted a kiss on my forehead as he kept the firm and gentle grip.

I look up and saw a blonde, smiling, as he began to disappear.

"Don't—,"

-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-

"—leave…" I grabbed to the nearest thing that my hand could reach. My eyes snapped wide open and I breathed heavily. I blinked twice and the tears rolled down my cheeks. I stared at the dull colored ceiling, 'admiring' the dullness, and wiped the tears away with my free hand. My eyelids slowly closed as I took a deep sigh of relief. It was only a dream… a bad dream…

"Jen?" I opened my eyes, surprised. I slightly moved my head to the left, giving a sideway stare. A blurry vision of yellow and blue was seen. I sat up straight on my bed, the blanket falling to my stomach. I rubbed my eyes, trying to rub the drowsiness away. "Are you okay?"

"Bumblebee?" I asked sounding surprised. I really am. I'm pretty sure he wasn't there when I was writing. I shook my head, shaking the endless thoughts away. The blonde was giving me a worried look as he stood straight, staring at me in a sideways position. I smiled at him. "Oh…uh… yeah, I'm okay…" I said, smiling sheepishly.

Bumblebee smiled back and kept on pointing his finger for me to look down. "Then… uh… you can let go now." he said.

I raised an eyebrow before following his finger. My head looked down and I blushed embarrassingly. "S-Sorry…" I apologized and released my grip on his jacket.

So that's what I grabbed… How embarrassing.

Bumblebee smiled and kneeled down on one knee. "It's cool. Don't worry about it." he said comfortingly. I sighed in relief before smiling at the scout. He was just so sweet. His voice sounded so familiar. I hung my head low and stared at my white mattress. My eyes slightly widened when I realized that it was Bumblebee who said 'sweet dreams' in my dream. A small smile curled up to my lips as tears began to form. At least someone was nice in my dream… "Jen? Are you sure you're okay? Do I need to call Ratchet?"

I snapped out of my thoughts and sniffled. "No, no… It's fine. It's fine." I repeated, wiping the tears away as I lifted my chin up to stare into Bumblebee's electric blue eyes. "I'm fine… really… and besides, Ratchet might already be asleep… it's about three in the morning." I said after I glanced over to the clock.

Wow… three in the morning…

"You don't sound okay…" Bumblebee said, unconvinced.

I placed my hand on his shoulder, "I'm fine, really… you should go back and get a good night—morning recharge… I'm sure you're tired too…" I said, correcting myself. "I'm sorry for waking you up…"

I closed my right eye when a hand suddenly cupped my right cheek. I hesitated to look back up. Bumblebee was on to me. I could feel the hard gaze he was giving. I feel intimidated just by his stare. I never seen—felt him so serious and stern looking before. It must've something to do with him doing in my room at three in the morning. Well, he's certainly not a morning person…

"I know something's wrong, Jen. You can't hide it from me." I tensed up when I hear his voice. He sounded so stern, serious, and… somewhat angry. Now I definitely can't face him now. What if he yelled at me for crying? What if he yelled at me for waking him up in three AM? What if— "I know what happened yesterday…"

I blinked.

"You…you do?" I asked, trying not to look up.

"Yes." Bumblebee replied and sighed deeply. "The twins." he said in a low tone.

I slump my shoulders. "You knew…" I mumbled quietly, but I'm sure he heard it. All Autobots do have sensitive hearing. His pulled back his hand and ran his hand through his blonde locks. He looks so much like the twins. I hung my head low. It's rude to compare Bumblebee with…with the twins. The scout was more understanding, caring, and sweet. Unlike the twins, they were liars—oh, great… Now I'm comparing the twins to Bumblebee.

"—taking care of them." he stated with a growl.

I shook my head, blinking. I've spaced out while Bumblebee was talking. Physically, I want to slap myself for thinking of the twins when the scout was obviously stating something important. My eyes watched in confusion as Bumblebee began to stomp his way towards the door. His hands were balled up into tight fists as his shoulders were tensed up.

"W-Wait! Where are you going?" I quietly called out, standing up from the bed.

Bumblebee gave me a sideway glance. "I'm going to take care of the twins." He simply stated with anger.

"Why?" I questioned. He isn't going to fight them, is he?

"To teach them a lesson of course," He growled. My eyes widened in shock. I gulped. He's going to beat the twins up?! Why would he even beat the twins up? They didn't do anything wrong to him. If anyone should be beaten up by him, it should be me. I'm the one who disturb Bumblebee's recharge. The blonde sighed heavily, his shoulders dropping as his posture relaxed a little. "They make you cry for hours. I can't let them get away with that." he continued.

I couldn't help but smile. Tears of happiness rolled down my cheeks. How sweet…

"That's it! I'm going now!" Bumblebee yelled out in anger as he gripped on the door's handle.

"Wait!" I called out, reaching my hand out. Before Bumblebee pushed down the handle, I hugged him from behind. The hug was just to show him how much I appreciate his kindness. He didn't seem to mind, I think. He was only standing still, but his posture relaxed, a lot. I snuggled into his back and slightly gripped the front of his shirt. "Thank you Bumblebee. You really are a great and a lovely friend."

Bumblebee sighed and chuckled soon after. "No problem… It's my job." He placed his hand on top of mine. He turned around and smiled as he tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear. "But seriously… why can't I take care of the twins? I know you're forgiving and all, but it's just so slagging wrong…"

I smiled. "You're outnumbered. There's one of you and two of them. They'll beat you to a bloody—uh energony pulp." I scratched the back of my neck.

Bumblebee pulls a face. "Really?"

I cleared my throat. "Well, you are technically a Cybertronian. So you have Energon as your blood and not our kind of blood. And uh… I changed bloody to energony because well… you have Energon as your blood." I narrowed my eyes as I finished my sentence.

How complicated was that? Even I find it weird, but hey, that's what I get for making words up at the last second.

Bumblebee blinked and smiled soon after. "Never mind," He said with a small sigh. He pulled me into a hug, resting his chin on my head as he stroke my messy hair. "Just forget about the twins. They've done nothing but hurt you." he said lowly.

I frowned and a sigh escaped my lips. How hard can it be to forget the twins?

Delete this picture?

Yes

Are you sure?

No

Apparently, it's hard…very hard. I groaned when I couldn't even delete the picture. I slumped into the chair, receiving a few weird looks from the soldiers. I ignored them. I was too deep in thought. My glasses slide down the bridge of my nose as I stared at my phone to lowly. I pushed my glasses back up and look up when I felt someone was staring right at me.

"Waah!" I yelped loudly and I almost threw my phone back, but luckily I had a firm grip on it. I sighed heavily, a hand on my chest when I saw who it was. "Blurr… don't scare me like that… you almost gave me a heart attack." I sighed.

I'm pretty sure Ratchet turned his helm at the word 'heart attack'.

Blurr gave a sheepish grin. "Sorry-it's-just-that-you-were-so-deep-in-thought-I-was-just-curious!" he concluded in a rush. I couldn't help but smile at the fast talking Autobot. He seemed to notice my smile, he grinned happily. "So… what'cha-staring-at? Do-'ya-wanna-go-hang-out-with-us? Ironhide-is-teaching-Storm-how-to-use-a-cannon-and-we're-gonna-throw-clay-Cons-action-figures!" he asked quickly, sliding from side to side.

I almost let out a snort. Decepticons' action figure made out of clays? Since when did they have the time to make action figures?

I nervously laughed and slipped my cell phone into my jeans' pocket. "Sure. Lead the way—," I let out a loud yelp when Blurr suddenly grabbed my hand and literally dragged me all the way to the blue Volks Wagon. He pushed me into the passenger seat as he grinned happily at me. The door closed with a loud clunk and the gear was moved, set to reverse. I let a heavy sigh escape my lips. "Blurr, you don't have to drag me in… I can perfectly walk by myself and please slow down. You almost crash us to Wheeljack's pede." I gripped the grab handle tightly.

The radio flickered on to life as a laugh was heard. "No-need-to-worry-Jen! I'm-a-pro!" He chirped happily. Why do I get the feeling he that he isn't a pro, yet? Oh yeah, we almost crashed into Wheeljack's pede, nearly ran over a military dog, and again, almost crashed into Wheeljack's pede. I don't even want to know why he was following us. "'Ey-'ya-okay? Ya've-been-staring-out-ta-space-a-lot." The radio said, breaking my thoughts.

I shook my head, and stared at the radio for a few seconds. "Yes, I'm fine. Thank you for asking Blurr." I said as I patted the dashboard lightly. My head turned back to look out the window, staring at the blurry view. "Have you told Bumblebee yet?" I asked.

The Volks Wagon skidded to a full stop. It's a good thing I have my seatbelt on or else I'll have a nasty bruise.

"Blurr?"

"No… I haven't. I can't." The radio said slowly. My eyes slightly widened. Blurr dropped his fast talking. I guess it wasn't really programmed into his processor. I leaned back to the leather seat, staring at the radio and waited for him to talk again. "He's still too young. I don't know if he could handle the fact that his old friend is really his brother."

"Hmmm," I hummed in acknowledgement. "But you're going to have to tell him sooner or later."

I heard him chuckle. "Alright, alright." He replied and I smiled at the radio. "So? Who are you going to admit your feelings to? The twins? Or my brother?" He said.

I choked on my own saliva. "W-What? What are you saying?"

Blurr laughed. "You know what I mean." He said as I raised an eyebrow. Me? Like the twins? Yeah right… right? "Words got around pretty quick for newcomers, you know. There's a love triang—square between you, the twins, and my bro." He continued, smirking. I got the feeling he was smirking at me.

I pulled a deadpan look. "Oh really? Who was it?"

"Jazz." Blurr said calmly and I shook my head. That snitcher saboteur… "And I'm well known as the Love Doctor back at Cybertron." He said smugly.

I rolled my eyes playfully. "I thought Hot Rod was." I said and earned a chuckle from the blue Autobot. "Besides… a relationship between a human and a Cybertronian is…impossible." I trailed off, my brows knitted together as my eyes were narrowed.

"Impossible but possible," Blurr chuckled lightly. "Who knows… maybe you'll get turn into a Cybertronian." He said jokingly.

I lightly slapped the dashboard. "You're over exaggerating." A heavy sigh escaped my lips as I remembered yesterday's events. "Even if—I said IF—I got turn to a Cybertronian. The twins already have Silverstreak."

Blurr hummed. "You can have my brother."

I kicked him and he laughed.

I rolled my eyes, shaking my head. "And can we stop circling around now? I'm getting dizzy." I said, placing a hand over my mouth.

"Oh… sorry, got carried away." Blurr replied and went straight to the shooting area. I gulped loudly, massaging my temples as I tried to massage the dizziness away. No wonder Wheeljack stopped chasing us. We were circling around for quite awhile now. "Heh. At least we shake Wheeljack off." He said, amused.

I smiled. "Yeah… what was he doing anyway? Did he follow you around base today?" I asked curiously.

"Yes. Apparently, I'm his new test subject." Blurr snorted. "He wanted me to test out his super speed wheels and you know what happens to his experiences." He continued and I nodded my head. It was true, but some of his inventions do work. And that was rare. "You know what? I think the twins are real afts for leaving you. You're just as much fun as Silver is, more maybe, in a human way of course."

I smiled warmly. "Thanks Blurr… You don't know how much I needed that." I mumbled out the last part.

"So," Blurr began as the shooting area was now seen. "How-'bout-we-crash-the-party?" he said rather quickly, back to his old fast self.

I nodded my head. "Knock yourself out."

-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-

"Land…" I murmured quietly as I lay down, enjoying the sweet ground. Well, not in that kind of sweet. I'm just glad I made it out alive and I thought Sun—the golden twin's driving was fast.

I heard gears and metal twisting. "C'mon-it-wasn't-that-bad." Blurr said, arms crossed over his chest plates, giving me a playful look.

I took in a deep breath and stared at the tall blue Autobot. "Easy for you to say, Speed Racer…" I said and he just smiled. He strode his way towards the Autobots' shooting range. It was just me, alone, lying on the warm floor. I let out a heavy sigh. I can't even feel my legs yet.

"Jen? What are you doing?" I heard Samuel asked and I saw him and Mikaela above me.

I glanced up slightly, laughing nervously. "Enjoying the ground… why?"

Mikaela giggled. "You rode with Blurr, huh?" She asked. Her arms were folded neatly across her chest. I gave a sheepish smile and she playfully rolled her eyes. She and Samuel helped me back up to my feet. "I'm impressed that Wheeljack could keep up with him." she said, pointing her finger at the hangar's door.

I brushed the invincible dust off my pants and took a quick glance to the crazy inventor. "You know?"

Samuel laughed. "Who wouldn't? He's been chasing Blurr all morning and believe me, it's not the silent case type."

"More like the noisy cat and mouse case type." Leo added tiredly, his voice low and his back hunched down. He was hunching like the bell ringer from Notre Dame. The dark circle under his eyes tells me that he's been playing games all night long. "I tried… I tried to go to sleep… but those two kept on making screeching noises. It drives me nuts!" he tried pulling his hair out.

Samuel scoffed, his hand covering his mouth. "Yeah right… you were already nuts when I first met you." He moved closer to Leo, a serious expression on his face. "Kitten calendars." He said it really slowly.

I struggled to keep the urge to laugh. I received a weird look from Leo and I stopped snickering after he gave me that look. Mikaela shook her head as she let out an irritated sigh. I looked at the three, realizing someone was missing. "By the way, where's Yvonne? She's not in the shooting range now is she?" I asked worriedly.

Mikaela shook her head. "Probably still asleep," She answered flatly. "I not surprised though. The noises Wheeljack and Blurr made kind of disturb everyone, including Optimus."

I nodded my head with a small smile. "Ah… That's Yvonne for you." I said to myself, making the three turn their heads to stare at me. I waved them off with a simple hand gesture and a smile. A smile can convince everyone. "Nothing, nothing… Hey, I heard from Blurr that you guys were going to see Stormbreaker shoot some action figures?" I asked, even though I already know the answer.

"Yeah!" Leo suddenly placed both his hands on each of my shoulder. "And get this, Will said that we can also join in the shooting fun!" He exclaims excitedly, shaking me back and forth repeatedly.

"Th-That's ni-nice Le-Le-o-o-o." I said as he shook me. I grabbed his wrists, stopping him from shaking me as I gave a short laugh. "You seem pretty excited… Why?" I asked with an eyebrow quirked up.

Leo grinned. "Why? Why you ask? Well, I'll tell you! We can use a gun." He said the last part slowly, his face leaning closer. I smiled nervously, pushing his head away from my face. Personal space please. He took a few steps back when Samuel shook his head. "I always dreamt about being a fellow Assassin Brotherhood." He said dreamily, staring at the ceiling.

Samuel shook his, a hand covering his face. "Leo… They use swords and stuff… not guns." He sighed out.

Leo shrugged. "Then I always wanted to be a fellow CoD." He changed his dream in less than twenty seconds.

"Are you guys coming or not?" I heard Mikaela's question echoed in the large hangar. The three of us turned our heads to her as we heard frequent tapping. She already had her goggles on and a rifle in her hand, placed over her shoulder. I paled at the sight with Mikaela and a gun. I quickly dragged my feet to fast-walk towards her. She smiled sweetly. "What about you boys?" she asked again.

Samuel and Leo hung their mouths wide open. "Oh uh sure, sure. Coming, babe. Be there in a sec!" Samuel was the first to snap back to reality a few seconds later, it was Leo's turn. They both jogged towards us, an awe look on their faces.

Mikaela smirked, turning around on her heels as I did the same, but without smirking. "So Jen, what are you going to use?" she asked.

I sighed. "I don't want to." I said, staring at her for a moment before staring back to my path. I certainly don't want to accidentally be the Autobots' target or the soldiers' punching bag. It looks like they do all trainings in this hangar. I've never even notice the martial art mats before. "I'm not a fan of guns." I added.

Mikaela sighed. "You're going to have to use one someday, being involve in this kind of situation… makes you want to take gun lessons and martial art classes." she said with a shrug.

"True," I nodded my head. I watch as Mikaela put on ear plugs and gave me a pair. I quickly put on the ear plugs, watching her do her stuff. She positioned her rifle on the right position. I narrowed my eyes to see what her target is. My left eye twitched as I saw what it is. They weren't joking when they mentioned the targets were mini Decepticons action figures. I still have to close my ears when Mikaela took the first shot, missing the target. She scowled in return. "But I'm going to be a doctor. Might as well be a field one." I continued.

Mikaela turned her head to stare at me, placing her rifle down. "But look at Ratchet. He's a doctor and can use a cannon." She said, pointing her finger at the CMO.

I gave a quick glace over towards the medic and back to Mikaela. "And I'm me. Just plain old boring Jennifer Lennox, adoptive daughter of William Lennox and Sarah Lennox, big step sister of Annabelle Lennox—,"

"Shsss!" Mikaela shushed me, her eyebrows furrowed down. I raised an eyebrow, eyeing her with a look. "Stop saying that you're boring, you're definitely not boring. Trust me."

I smiled. I like this Mikaela better than my dream one.

I suddenly felt my phone vibrating in my jeans' pocket. I quickly took it out and pressed the answer button after checking the caller's i.d.

"Hello?" I pressed my phone against my ear and heard a muffled voice. I raised an eyebrow as I moved the phone away from my ear. With a small 'ah' after remembering is still had on the earplugs, I quickly took the off, pressing the phone against my ear once more. "I'm sorry, Professor Klug, could you repeat that?" I asked sheepishly.

I heard him took a deep breath. "You did it! You really did it!" he exclaimed excitedly.

"Did what?" I asked back, a bit confused at the same time inpatient.

"You pass! You passed your exam!" Professor Klug shouted like he was jumping around giddily. I couldn't help but let a grin spread across my lips. This is great… no, this is more than great! This is awesome! I received a few weird looks from Samuel, Leo, and Mikaela. I calmed myself down and pressed a finger against my lips when Leo wanted to ask something. "And guess what? They've totally agreed to let you be a two in one specialist!"

My eyes widened. "Really? That's amazing! I promise, when I get back there, I'll study really hard. I won't let you down, Professor." I said, trying to keep my excitement to minimum.

"What? What's going on?" Leo questioned in a whisper.

I gestured my hand for him to wait when I heard Professor Klug continue, "But you have to stay here at Germany for two years straight, no breaks, no going back home to America." I stayed quiet. No breaks? No going back home to America? My eyebrows knitted together as I think. That means I won't be able to see everyone in person. I look up to see Samuel, Leo, and Mikaela giving me confused looks. "So? Are you up for the program?" Professor Klug asked.

I blinked a few times. "Um… I'll think about it… I'll give you the answer tonight." I said.

"Alright," and then he hung up.

I took in a deep breath as I closed my phone. I thought that receiving the news for me to pass the exam was going to be exciting. It was, but I never expected to stay in Germany for two years straight without going home. I blinked my eyes once when someone snapped his or her finger right in front of my face. It was Samuel. He was giving me a worried look. I smiled and waved him off.

"Well? What's wrong? Are you okay? Who was that? Someone in Germany?" Samuel asked curiously.

I could only nod my head. "It's fine. Nothing to worry about, it was just… Chris. He's just saying that Alex said his first words and took his first step..." I lied and a fake smile curled up to my lips. I can't let them know…yet.

Mikaela cooed. "Awww first words!"

Leo frowned. "I'm not that much a fan of babies…They poop a lot." He said in disgust.

Samuel smacked him on the back of his head. "You do that too when you're a baby Leo." He scolded.

"'You do that too when you're a baby Leo.'" Leo imitated with mockery in his tone.

Samuel glared with his arm raised, threatening Leo.

I bit my bottom lip. How can I leave them now?

"Hold it firmly with both hands! What are you trying to do? Squish lemons? Hold it firmly!"

I mentally groaned. Having Ironhide as a mentor was tiring! He's been scolding me on how I should grip the gun properly. I did as he instructed, but he kept on saying that I have to hold it firmly. It's not like I don't want Ironhide as my mentor. It was because I don't want to be a soldier. I want to be a doctor. How many times do I have to repeat myself?

"Good, now steady…." Ironhide said slowly, his voice low. Finally, I got it right. I looked over to my right, seeing he was too focused on the moving target. He let a hiss of air out of his 'nose'. I almost laughed. "Now fire!"

I did it out of shock… but missed.

Ironhide took in a deep vent. "You need work on your aim. You aim worse than Sergeant Epps." he commented as I blew a strand of hair out of my face. I stared up at him, giving him a look. "Don't give me that look. Just ask the others, you missed your target… badly. And it's only a six feet away from you." he vented.

I placed one hand on my hip. "Excuse me for not wearing my glasses..." I muttered.

Ironhide shook his helm with a small smile.

"Way the go Silver!" I heard Stormbreaker cried out happily. Ironhide and I gaze over to the left, seeing Silverstreak hitting every target while Stormbreaker and the others were watching. The little femme was cheering and so were the others. "Oh man! That was awesome! Teach me how to do that!" Stormbreaker excitedly demands.

Silverstreak smiled down, patting Stormbreaker's helm. "Of course."

"And can you teach us too? Pretty please." Sideswipe pouted as his brother glared at him with his arms crossed.

Silverstreak giggled. "Why would I? You two are already good."

The twins wrapped their arms around SIlverstreak's shoulders. "Aw shucks! Thank you Silver!"

Stormbreaker made a disgusted look. "Ewwwww!" she covered her face with her servos.

They all laughed… I feel like my nightmare was coming true.

I sighed deeply and turned away with a frown. It hurts me to see them.

"C'mon Ironhide, let's continue our—," I paused for a moment as I saw Ironhide bend down and then he transformed into his alt-mode, the passenger's door popped open. The GMC Topkick sat there with one door open. I stared at him, confusedly. He's seriously not going to ask me to go for a drive now is he? I took off my goggles, letting them hang around my neck. "Ironhide. No. I really don't want to talk about anything at the moment." I sighed, staring at the Topkick.

Ironhide's revved his engine quietly, waiting patiently for me to get in. I rolled my eyes. I'm not going to have a personal chat with the Weapon Specialist especially about my problems. I placed my goggles back on and aimed at the target as a man stepped out of the Topkick. I tried to ignore him, but it was hard when he kept on poking me. I huffed out angrily, my eyebrows furrowed down to focus on my target.

I pulled the trigger.

And hit the target… a clear headshot to the helm.

Ironhide let out a whistle as I lowered the gun. "Headshot." He said under his breath, eyeing the Decepticon action figure that has a bullet hole on the helm. His intense blue eyes stared at me. "Maybe I should start poking you whenever we're training, you're much better than before." he continued, arms folded neatly across his buff chest. I didn't reply to his comment. A hand was placed on my shoulder, giving it a light squeeze. "How about we go for a drive?" he said, pulling me to the Topkick.

Ironhide took the gun away from my hands and I took off the goggles.

I couldn't help but let out a sigh as I climbed into the passenger's seat. The seatbelt went across my chest, securing me in the seat. I stared out the window, watching the scene before my eyes. They didn't even seem to notice we were leaving base. I rolled my eyes. Typical. Now they have Silverstreak, they don't need me anymore. In fact, why don't you guys just throw me into a sack and dump me in the dumpster. That's the easiest way to get rid of a boring blonde girl…

"Ironhide. Where on earth are we going?" I asked with a sigh, slumping into the leather seat.

"Around the base, I want to talk without anyone eavesdropping on our father-daughter talk." I heard him said calmly.

Funny. Ironhide's voice seemed to be a lot lighter and since when is Ironhide my fath—wait a minute… I glanced over to my right and my eyes widened. "Dad?! Wh-What are you doing here?! I thought you were training with Silverstreak?" I asked frantically.

Dad patted Ironhide's dashboard, signaling the Autobot to take the wheel. He turned his face to stare at my confused, yet frantic expression. "You've been acting weird whenever Silverstreak is around." he said.

"We-Weird? No Dad, I'm not acting…weird." I nervously laughed, looking away to avoid Dad's eyes.

"You are," I could tell from his tone that he was giving me the 'eye'. I turned around and I was right, he was giving me the eye. I let out a defeated sigh, slumping into the leather seat. "Do you hate her?"

I chocked on my own saliva. "No! No! No! Dad! Why would you say that? I don't hate Silverstreak!" I shouted, waving my hands in front of my face. I took a deep breath and averted my eyes down, staring at the dashboard. "She's…kind, talented, brave, sweet, nice—,"

"You're jealous." Dad said in an obvious tone.

"—tall, loved by everyone, and I'm not jealous." I deadpanned, staring at my Dad as he chuckles. I groaned. "Dad, come on, it's not funny Dad. I'm not jealous of Silverstreak, Dad. You too Ironhide, stop laughing, please guys." I massaged my temples.

Dad's laugh eased down to chuckles. "Sorry… I just never thought that my daughter would actually get jealous and here I thought you're not the jealous type."

I sighed. "For the last time, I'm not jealous."

"Really? I'm not convinced." Ironhide retorted from the radio. "I may not know well about how you human femmes deal with human mechs, but I know jealousy when I see one."

I groaned, slamming my forehead to Ironhide's dashboard. "Since when did you become the love doctor? Don't tell me that there's more than three." I gaze sideways to my Dad who could only smile.

"You'll be surprise." Ironhide replied.

"Alright, alright, break it up you two." Dad said, smiling. He placed a comforting hand on my shoulder, making me turn to look at his eyes. "Jen, I think you should just talk to the twins. I'm sure they still love you even after Silverstreak is here."

I snorted. "Yeah, like they would even listen to me now." I remarked, crossing my arms in the process. "It's like… they were just using me to fill in SIlverstreak's spot until she came back." I said as I pursed my lips, staring down at my thighs.

Dad gave a shirt laugh, "C'mon, don't think like that… The twins aren't like that, right Ironhide?" Ironhide didn't respond. Dad and I exchanged look and we both stared at the radio, waiting for an answer. "Ironhide?" Dad called out.

"…what Jen said was true." Ironhide said and I felt my heart broke into millions of pieces.

Dad's eyes were wide. "What? Are you saying that they just used Jen?" he asked, disbelief in his tone.

Ironhide let out a loud vent. "Unfortunately, yes…they did." He said and I could sense the regret in his tone. Dad stared at the radio with a look, serious with a mix of anger. I too stared at the radio with a hurt and disbelief look. Who knew that the twins would do such a thing… to me? "We warned them both…but they didn't listen. As we watch the bond the three of you build, we thought that they actually mean their affection to you." he continued.

"Wait," Dad held up his hand. "What do you mean 'we'?"

Ironhide vented once more. "Optimus, Ratchet, and I," He answered. "Through time… the three of you actually built a strong bond with each other, but I—we were wrong. I apologize, Jen. We didn't know it would end up like this."

I stayed quiet as I bit my bottom lip. So all of that was a fake? A lie? I was used by them? I was used by them to fill in the spot in their spark until they can find SIlverstreak? I… I've never been felt so betrayed before in my life. Who know that those two can be as twisted as the Decepticons…

"Jen," I heard Dad said, snapping me away from my angry thoughts. I turned my head sideways to look at him with narrowed eyes. He gulped when he saw my dark look. "C-Calm down… I'll make sure that Optimus will punish them—,"

I interrupted him. "No need, Dad. This is personally my problem." I said, lowering my head so my bangs covered my face. I wanted to cry now, but I can't show that I'm weak. I need to stay strong for Dad, for Ironhide. They were the ones who realized that I have troubled feelings. And here I thought I actually like the Twins, but after finding out the ugly horrible truth. I hate them more than ever. "I have a way to solve it anyway." I continued.

"Really?" Ironhide asked, unsure in his tone.

"I'm staying in Germany for two years."

"WHAT?!" Both Dad and Ironhide screamed and I had to close my ears.

"You're going to leave just like that after knowing the twins used you?" Dad asked shaking my shoulder.

"Yes and no. I was offered to join an acceleration program. I have to stay there for two full years and no going back home in summer vacations." I said sternly, sighing afterwards. I could tell that Dad and Ironhide was too shock to even speak at my decision. My eyes softened a little, just a little. "Besides… I need to get over the twins as fast as I can."

Dad exchanged looks with the radio and gave a loud sigh. "…fine. You can go, but only if you take one of the Autobots with you."

"As long as it's not the twins… I'm fine for whoever comes with me." I said with a small smile.

Dad nodded his head.

"I hope you know what you're doing, Jen." Ironhide vented.

I patted the dashboard lightly. "Trust me… I do."

-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-

"Professor Klug? It's me, Jen."

"Oh Jen! Have you made up your mind?"

"Yes. I'll join the program."

"Excellent! I'll see you in a week!"

"I'm excited to start."

I pressed the end-call button and gave a loud sigh as I ruffled my hair. I stared at my cell phone for a moment before opening the picture folder. I scrolled down to the picture I wanted to see. For the third time today, I stared at the picture, deciding whether to delete it or not. I slumped down to my bed. I sighed and placed my cell phone on my chest as I remembered back the memories the twins and I shared.

It was all lies.

Their kindness… their smiles

I gripped my cell phone with my eyebrows knitted together. I sat up straight and pressed the delete button.

Delete this picture?

Yes.

Are you sure?

Yes.
