A/N: So sorry for the very late update! I just got out of the hospital and I can't really type up that many because of certain reason regarding the internet here... Somehow, fanfiction can't be opened here! But luckily, I found another way to access it ^^

this might be a little short since I just got out of writer's block.

I'm so sorry for any mistakes! This is written on my iPad...

No beta-ed yet.

I own nothing except the plot and the OCs! Stormbreaker is not mine :D

Chapter 53

I gave a loud sigh, leaning back against my chair with my arms stretched above my head. I took off my glasses and placed them on my desk. It's been two days since I've made up my mind to stay at Germany for two years. I haven't told anyone about it, except dad and Ironhide—those two were the only one who knew this. I should probably tell Yvonne and the other soon. I mean, I'm leaving in a week—scratch that, three days. I'm leaving in three days since it's a long ride to Germany.

Speaking of them, I haven't talked to anyone ever since. I exchange a few 'hi's and 'hello's to them, but nothing more. I avoided them like a plague, turning around every time I found them—which are quite frequently. I think they began to notice that I'm beginning to distance myself from society, back to who I used to be before I met them.

Dad's been acting weird too. Whenever I walk with him and when there was anAutobot coming, he told me to turn around and take another hall. I was confused, but followed his orders anyway. I realized something. I took in a deep breath and exhaled deeply. Now that I think about it, he was trying to help me forget about the twins. A small smile curled up my lips. I love my Dad.

Knock Knock

"Jen? Are you in there?" A voice asked from behind the closed door. I turned my attention to the door, my blue eyes staring at the wooden door. I blinked my eyes a few times, blinking out the blurry image. My hand reached out to grab my black-framed glasses, putting it on before the door even open. "I'm coming in okay?" the door screeched open.

It was Silverstreak's holoform.

I couldn't help but stare a little. After a few seconds, I heard the door shut close with a click. "Oh, Silverstreak. Is there something you need?" I shook my head, snapping back to reality and gave a small smile to the female Autobot. I averted my eyes to the thick red-cover book. I quickly closed the book with my face still facing the beautiful woman. "Sorry my room's a mess… I'm still studying." I said sheepishly.

Papers were scattered everywhere. There were at the bed, the table, the floor, the bathroom, and the closet. Why? Well, let's just say Laserbeek came in when I was studying and accidentally flap his wings. The papers that were once stacked neatly at the corner of my desk flew all around the room. The falcon-like Decepticonapologized and offered to help, but I declined. He has claws. Who knows what those claws can do when they grab my important papers.

I didn't clean the room up yet. I was about to, but I stopped when I found my red book buried in the scattered papers and now I'm writing instead of studying before Silverstreak came in.

"—worried about you." I blinked. What?

"S-Sorry. What was that? I kind of spaced out." I closed my eyes and pinched the bridge of my nose. I was losing my focus, both my eyes and my mind. I need to pay Ratchet a visit…soon. The bags under my eyes were proves that I was stressed and lacked sleep. Most likely, the CMO would sedate me to sleep. I inwardly cringe at the thought. A heavy sigh escaped my lips, "I'm sorry Silverstreak… I'm really out of focus now…" I said truthfully.

Silverstreak let out a small giggle. "Don't worry. I can see that you're focusing on your studies. You really are a hardworking human." She complimented and smiled warmly at me. I gave a nod before standing up to gather the scattered papers. It's time that I cleaned the room. "Oh! Let me help you!" She cheerfully exclaimed, kneeling to the floor to help me gather the papers.

"…thank you," I whispered before organizing the papers into the right order. This went on for fifteen minutes. Silverstreak collected the papers and handed them to me while I placed them in the right order. The two of us was working in silence, but I know that Silverstreak was trying to start up a conversation. I was one of the people who didn't like to talk much, unless spoken to. I honestly despised conversations about swimming and horror movies. "…is there perhaps something in your processor, Silverstreak?" I asked out of the blues.

"Eh?" Silverstreak paused collecting the papers and stared at me. She blinked her stunning electric blue eyes and scratched the back of her neck nervously. I raised an eyebrow at her. Obviously, there was something in her mind. "W-Well… there is something bothering my processor…" she trailed off and stared at the ceiling.

I nodded my head, motioning for her to go one. I waited for her to asked something.

"Do you hate me?"

I stared at her, almost chocking because of my own saliva. "What?"

Silverstreak handed me the last of the papers. "Well… it's just that you've been acting weird around me… I've also notice that you became more distant with the others." She said, looking away. The female Autobot took in a deep breath and stared at me dead in the eyes. I tried my best not to flinch when her electric blue eyes stared into my blue ones. "…do you hate me?" she repeated.

I gave a small laugh. "I don't hate you," I said, grinning up at her since I was still sitting on my chair. The stacked the paper into one neat pile and placed something heavy on top of it, in case Laserbeek returns and decided to flap his wings again. "I'm actually glad that you came—," because of you, I found out the twins' twisted intentions. I finished in my mind. "Because now the twins are happy that they have their femme back." I finished with a forced smile.

Silverstreak's cheeks were suddenly dusted with a light pink color. "O-Oh… I'm relieved… I thought that you hated me…" she placed a hand to where her 'heart' is and gave me a sweet smile, I returned the smile with another smile. She looked at the clock on the nightstand beside my bed and gasped. "Oh no! I'm late for training with the twins and Stormbreaker! I've got to go Jen. It was nice talking to you." she bowed her head respectfully.

I nodded my head, staring at Silverstreak as she made her way towards the door. "It was nice talking to you too Silverstreak."

Before the door closed, Silverstreak said, "Do your best on your studies Jen! Don't work yourself too hard." She winked and then the door closed with a soft click.

I stared at the door and let out the breath that I didn't know I was holding. I never knew talking to a female Autobot would be this tensed. I could still feel the tension in the air. It was probably because of me anyway. Silverstreak was never really mean to anyone—especially me. She was kind and understanding, not to mention supportive as well. On the other hand, I avoided everyone for the last few days and acted cold to the twins.

Perhaps the only evil one here is me.

"Ratch—," There was a loud crash before shouts were heard from behind the metal sliding doors. I stopped myself from getting into the med bay. I stared at the closed doors a little warily, taking a few steps back. The automatic sliding door suddenly open and a familiar red and green Autobots dashed out, laughing their afts off. I jumped out of the way to avoid getting squished or kicked by their pedes.

I watched Skids and Mudflap shifting down into their alt-mode, their wheels spinning on the metal floors before speeding towards the main hangar. I stood up, brushing the dust off my pants before fixing my jacket. My eyes kept on staring at the direction the Chevy twins went as I walked to the med bay.

"Fragging Twins!"

"Whoa!" I immediately stopped when a large pede was stomped right in front of me. I followed the neon yellow metal armor on the pede to the body armor, identifying that it belongs to Ratchet the Hatchet himself. The CMO looked furious and I quickly backed away, afraid that he would accidentally squish me.

"Fragging glitch heads," Ratchet cursed under his breath, his deadly red wrench gripped tightly in his servo. The CMO turned around to get back inside his med bay.

"Ratchet!" I yelled and he turned his helm to stare down at me. He gave me a surprised look and I returned it with a small smile.

Ratchet kneeled down on one knee and reached his servo out for me to climb on. I held on his thumb as he raised his servo to his optic level. I stared into his electric blue optics "Jen! Primus! I haven't seen you in a while. Where have you been, femme?" he asked, a smile on his face plates.

I laughed, "Been studying. So I guess the Chevy Twins are up to it again?"

The Autobot Medic rolled his optics. "Aren't they always?" he said as he set his servo down to the second floor that was used for the humans as the clinic and has an overlook of the whole med bay. I climb down his servo, staring up at him while shoving my hands inside my jacket's pockets. "Is there anything you need?" he asked, turning his face to me.

I nodded my head, pulling out the black framed glasses form my right jacket pocket. I placed my glasses on Ratchet's large servo. Comparing my glasses to his servo, my glasses were like a miniature Barbie's accessory. I just wish he would be careful with the pair because it was the only pair of glasses that I have. Then again, he is going to have to replace the glass with new ones since I'm actually here for an eye exam.

"Is there something wrong with your glasses?" His holoform appeared right before me as he examined the glasses. His bi-pedal form has shifted down to a Search and Rescue Hummer H2. He held my glasses on right hand as his left hand pushed the frameless glasses up to the bridge of his nose. "I can see there's no crack or anything."

"Ah, actually… I was hoping if you can make a new one. You see, my vision is blurring and I need a new one before," I paused, my mouth hung open at the middle of the sentence. Ratchet turned to me, an eyebrow raised. I shook my head and laughed nervously, "Before I bump into someone or everything." I finished.

Ratchet joined in the laugh, "I guess you're right." he gave the glasses back to mebefore disappearing into this air. I heard whirling and spinning gears and I was met with an Autobot, still twisting and turning. I admit, it was pretty scary watching anAutobot transforming from up here. It was like watching a horror movie where the ghost suddenly appeared from the floor. I tried not to cringe, but failed. "Hold on for a second, alright?" he said, pressing the temple of his helm.

"Keep your eyes open for a few seconds. I'm going to do a scan." Ratchet instructed as I tried my best to not blink for a few seconds. I almost blinked when a bright green light scanned my eyes. Luckily it was only a second. I blinked my eyes to get rid of the black spots everywhere before leaning down on the railing. "I'm glad that you decided to come to me rather than your human doctor." he said with a proud smile.

I laughed nervously. "Yeah…" I remembered the last time when I went to the eyedoctor when Ratchet was available. Something broke inside of him and I think it was his pride. I glanced around trying to find Moonracer and Jolt. "By the way, where's Moonracer and Jolt?" I asked, still trying to spot the two medics.

Ratchet has his back turned as he was working on the other table. "They are both at the shooting range with Ironhide. He said that they both lacked fighting experience in the battle field." He answered casually.

"I see," I said. That means that they both are training with Silverstreak too. I shook the bad thoughts away. She isn't stealing anyone from me. It's just my imagination. No one is stealing anything. I heard the sliding doors hissed open and I saw Leo and Samuel walking in with Leo's arm around Samuel's neck. I raised an eyebrow, staring at them both. I cupped my mouth with one hand, "Samuel? Leo? What happened?" I half asked half shouted.

Samuel basically dragged Leo up the metal stairs and once he reached the floor, I helped him by placed Leo's other arm around my shoulder. The two of us struggled to drag him to one of the chairs. One we seated him on a chair the two of us collapse onto the metal floor.

"I…never thought Leo was that heavy…"

"How do you think I feel?" Samuel retorted, wiping the sweat off his forehead. He stood up and holding his hand out for me to take.

I grabbed his hand and he pulled me up. "What happened to him anyway?" I asked curiously as I went to get the supplies to patch Leo up.

Samuel gave me an unsure look. "Well, let's just say that Stormbreaker 'accidentally' hit him when he insulted her shooting skills. It wasn't pretty." he said, scratching the back of his head.

I gave a wry smile as I pulled a chair to sit in front of Leo. "Well, Leo… now you know you shouldn't insult a girl or a femme…ever." I said, dabbing the antiseptic on the minor cut on his left cheek. Leo groaned and flinched, jerking his face away from the cotton. I applied iodine and sticks a sticky bandage over his minor cut. I placed my fingers on his forehead, pushing his head to lean back. I stuffed in tissue into his nose to stop the nosebleed. "Honestly, what did you say to make her give you a nosebleed? And I guess it was a sucker punch, judging by the bruise on your cheek Leo." I said as I inspected the bruise.

Samuel snorted. "He actually got the cut and nosebleed when he face-planted on his way here, that's why I was helping him. But the sucker punch was right." he told with a slightly amazed look.

"My face… my beautiful face…" I heard Leo mumbled. "It's not going to be permanent right?" he asked me.

I smiled, placing an ice pack on his bruised cheek. "No, it's not. Just keep that ice pack on your bruise for at least an hour and I'll apply arnica gel later. The cut on your left cheek is a minor one, so it would heal without leaving a scar." I said.

"Ah! Gracias!" Leo screamed into the air, smiling like a fool. "You're the best, Jen!" he thanked.

"You're welcome, Leo."

"I agree, Jen. You are improving." Ratchet said without turning his helm over his shoulder.

"Thank you Ratchet. I have to, since I'll be living alone in Germany for two years." I said with a smile on my face.

Ratchet stopped what he was doing and I could fell all three of them staring at me.

"What?"

Oops…

"Bloody heck! Since when?!"

"Two days ago."

"What were you thinking?!"

"My future."

"Are you f*cking serious, girl?"

"I'm always serious." I said calmly, tidying my desk. There were books and papers everywhere, covering my whole wooden desk. I arranged the papers into the right order and placed them away in a file. The books were stacked up at the corner ofthe desk. One stood out from the other. It was a book with a hard red cover. I stared at it for a moment before grabbing it and shoved it in my black backpack.

Word spread out like wildfire when Leo is around…

Yvonne let out a loud sigh of frustration. She sat on my bed with her legs crossed and she seemed to be deep in thought. I stared at her for a moment before continuing with my previous activity. About an hour ago, Yvonne came barging in to my room, demanding me to explain everything to her. I was lucky that it wasn't the Autobots or else my room wouldn't fit them all.

I told Yvonne everything, from where the twins to my little decision and she wasn't happy one bit. I specifically told her that I would handle this on my own and sheboth agreed, allowing me to do whatever I want. Although, Dad and Ironhide were a bit hesitant to let me go, but they finally did. On one condition, I should—it's more like a 'will' than a 'should'—bring one Autobot to Germany to be my guardian.

The twins are out of the picture and so is Hot Rod… he'll probably attract too many attention. Jolt, I'm not so sure. He's better off staying here with both Ratchet and Moonracer. Actually almost everyone is out of the picture since they held an important role in this secret military branch or just can't leave because they might caused too much trouble—the Chevy twins for example.

"So the other knows too?" Yvonne's question snapped me back to reality.

I nodded my head, "When Leo is around… words would spread out real quick, but luckily… I left out the part where I leave in five days. I was tending to keep it a secret until the nick of time. That way, no one can have the time to argue or told me to change my mind, but now I have to come up with a strong reason." I stated with a straight look.

Yvonne let a soft sigh escape her lips as she ran her fingers through her hair. "I guess… but it's stupid. All of this because of the twins—,"

"This isn't just about the twins." I cut, dropping the heavy box at the corner of the room. I crouched down to tape the box. "I'm offered a program that could change my life and I'm not going to miss it." I said sternly.

Yvonne hummed. "So this is how you solve a broken heart in the nerdy way… You run away from your old problems thinking it could be solved just by adding new problems." I stopped to give a glare over my shoulder at her. Sometimes, her words can be sweet like honey, but sometimes it can be sharp like a knife to the heart—like this one. I decided to just ignore her and continue packing instead. "Look you can just tell the twins how you feel and maybe they'll understand." I ignored her again.

"Fine." Yvonne threw her hands up in the air and walked towards the door. I averted my eyes to watch her movements from under my black-framed glasses. She stood next to me. "If this is what you want then fine, I'll come back home with you to Germany, but before we go back home…I have a request."

I raised an eyebrow. "What request?"

"We get to hang out for the last time with that American Girl. It's just you, me and her. No boys, no Autobots and especially no stalkers like Wheelie and Brains." I blinked my eyes. I have no problem with hanging out with Mikaela, but what did she mean by Wheelie and Brains. Yvonne turned on her heels to a box across from us. "C'mon you two pervs, get out. I know you're there." she said.

"Aw crud! You see? You see?! This is what happens when you do your stupid clicking all the time!" I heard Wheelie's muffled voice from inside the cardboard box. I let out a sigh before walking over towards the cardboard box. I opened it to see Wheelie and Brains arguing with each other. I stayed silent, towering over the two drones with crossed arms. I waited for them to stop arguing. Wheelie seemed to notice the giant shadow swallowing his entire body. He lifted his helm up and cursed out loudly. "Holy friggin' shit! Jen sweetheart! You scared the spark rightoutta me!" he yelled, a servo over his chest.

I smiled sarcastically. "How much did you hear?"

"Oh everything, Cupcake. This is hot topic. The juicy one." Brains said as he climbed out the box. Both Wheelie and Brains began to make up excuses as they walked around me to the exit. "Wait 'till everyone hears 'bout this." he said, rolling on his wheels to reach the door.

Yvonne and I quickly blocked the door, towering over the two cowering drones. "No one is telling anyone anything, get it you punks?" Yvonne warned, pointing a perfectly manicured nail at both Wheelie and Brains. The two drones nodded their helm fearfully, afraid that Yvonne might poke their optics out using her nails. I rolled my eyes, it's not like Yvonne is really going to do that. "Oh trust me Jen, I will do that." she suddenly said as if she can read my thoughts.

I shook my head and crouched down to Wheelie and Brains. "Look, can you two just keep this as a secret? I'll tell the others eventually that I'm leaving in three days, but now is not the right time, okay?"

Wheelie placed a servo on his 'chin'. "Hmmm, I'll think about it." he said and I waited as he began to circle around the room, stopping a few time to speak, but not one word came out. He finally wheeled over towards me after a minute of thinking. "Brains and I can keep your secret, If—," Yvonne particularly groaned and I sighed. "You give me and Brains here some energon for the next three days." He wiggled his optic ridges.

"One." Yvonne debated.

"Three, take it or leave it, sister."

"Deal."

I shook my finger with Wheelie and Brains' servo.

-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-

"How the heck are we going to get them energon?" Yvonne asked as she peek her head over the corner, staring at Ratchet's Med Bay with a disbelief look. I shrugged my shoulder. Apparently, when Wheelie says three days—he really meant three days starting from now. I wanted it to start tomorrow, but those twoairheads wanted their energon now. Both Yvonne and I are currently hiding behind the wall, trying to figure out how to get energon from Ratchet's Med Bay without the CMO himself asking what we are doing.

"Walk in and steal Ratchet's energon."

"You're so straight forward sometimes." Yvonne deadpanned.

I shrugged before walking towards the Med Bay again with Yvonne following. The two of us stepped inside the Med Bay and glanced around, trying to find Ratchet. We spotted a couple of energon cubes at the end of the room with the smaller cubes located right beside it. Ratchet was still busy working on something. I nodded at Yvonne. She nodded too. Yvonne tiptoed to the energon cubes as I approached Ratchet.

"Ratchet!" I yelled to get his attention. Said Autobot turned to face me and lifted me up by the hood of my jacket. He placed me down gently on his working table.

"Jen, are you here to pick up your glasses?" Ratchet asked and I nodded. He gently lifted the black framed glasses with his two digits. I took the glasses and placed them on. I blinked a few times to adjust to the new set of glass. It was clear. Everything was clear. I smiled at the CMO. "I presume everything is fine." he said a smile on his face plates.

I nodded my head. "It is, thank you Ratchet." I said. I saw Yvonne sneaking out with a handful of small energon cubes. She tiptoed out of the Med Bay and I'm surprised that he didn't hear Yvonne coming out of his Med Bay. I walked away from the CMO to the ladder that was at the end of the metal table. As I climbed down the ladder, I stopped when my head came to level with the table.

"It was a rather bold decision you made." I heard Ratchet said.

"Yeah…"

"Optimus already allowed it if you bring Smokescreen with you."

I climbed back up. "Smokescreen?" I echoed.

Ratchet nodded his helm. "Yes, Smokescreen. He is the perfect candidate. He will follow Optimus' orders and will protect you." he said and I reconsidered it. Smokescreen… Why didn't I think of him? He's a nice Autobot and doesn't really stand out, except for his alt-mode. "Besides, he is also close to you isn't he?"

"Sort of… yeah."

Ratchet smiled. "Then I wish you good luck. When are you leaving exactly?" he asked.

I almost fell from the ladder, but quickly regain my balance back. I hugged the ladder and cleared my throat. I poked my head out to see Ratchet staring at me with a confused look. "In three days or less?" I answered a little too unsurely.

Everything was silent…until somebot glitched.

It wasn't Ratchet like I expected. It was Prowl who just came in with Barricade.
