"There. All done." Emily stepped away from Erin, smiling proudly at her work. Emily had spend the last half-hour curling Erin's blonde hair, which was nearly to her waist.

Erin stood up, slowly spinning to get a look at herself in Emily's bedroom mirror. She was wearing a black, lace dress that went to just above her knees and had ¾ sleeves. It used to be Rachel's, but it didn't fit her anymore and Erin tried not to go shopping too much since she'd need all the money she could save when college started.

"Now, you and the boys have to be at the school in half an hour, so let's get you in your cap and gown and get you downstairs." Emily ordered, grabbing Erin's blue graduation robe off a hanger to help Erin into it. Erin then stepped into the flat, white sandals and was ready to go.

"Thanks, Em. I'm ready." Erin smiled, putting the graduation cap carefully on her head before following the older woman out of the room.

After a brief moment where half the pack passed Erin around, crushed her in hugs, and took multiple pictures, she hopped into the back of Sam and Emily's car and they drove to the school. Jake, Embry, and Quil; who were also graduating, were meeting the rest of the pack at the school after getting pictures taken with their families.

After parking the car in the surprisingly full parking lot, Erin got out and her eyes quickly found her boyfriend.

Jake was in his own graduation cap and gown, talking and laughing with Quil. Billy was talking with Old Quil and Joy Ateara, and Erin could also recognize Paul and Rachel. But there was another couple that she couldn't recognize with their backs to her. The woman had long, black hair and the guy was tan and just a few inches shorter than Paul with wavy, black hair that just covered his ears. They were both in casual dress clothes.

Erin started following Sam and Emily toward them when Jake looked away from Quil and right at Erin. His 100 watt smile split his face before he hurriedly approached her, barely sparing Sam and Emily a glance.

He hugged her tightly, standing to his full height and making her toes leave the ground.

"Careful! You'll knock off my cap." Erin laughed, quickly grabbing the edge of her cap with one hand to keep it on her head.

"Sorry." Jake grinned, not sounding sorry at all as he placed her back on her feet and pecked her lips. "You look great, by the way."

"Thanks, that's quite the feat in this stupid gown and cap." she grinned back.

"Come on, there's someone I want you to meet." he announced excitedly, taking her hand and pulling her quickly back toward his family. As they neared the group, Erin finally got a look at the faces of the two people she hadn't recognized. She still didn't recognize the man, and even though he had tan skin and black hair, he didn't necessarily look Quileute. But the woman looked almost exactly like Rachel, with a few minor facial differences that were hard to describe. If Erin had to guess, she'd say this woman was Jake's other sister, Rachel's twin, Rebecca.

They reached the group quickly and Jake looked between his girlfriend and the other couple. "Erin, this is my sister Rebecca and her husband, Solomon. This is my girlfriend, Erin."

Rebecca smiled widely at Erin, the same smile her whole family seemed to share. "Hi, it's nice to meet you." Rebecca held her hand out for Erin to shake. "Rachel and my dad have told me a lot about you, and I've been pretty excited to meet you for myself." She smirked at Jake before turning back to Erin, "I've always wondered what kind of girl could handle my crazy baby brother."

Erin laughed when Jake made a rather rude hand gesture at his sister in response.

"Jake!" Billy called, "You kids should probably head inside. They're starting to line kids up for the ceremony."

Jake nodded and lead Erin toward the front door of the school, being quickly joined by Quil and Embry, who had been with his mother until that moment. Due to Alphabetic order of last names; Quil, Jake, and Embry were at the front of the line while Erin was about halfway down the line.

They stood around for a good twenty minutes before the teacher finally lead the line of students down the hall and into the gym, which had the bleachers out and full of people, and a few rows of fold up chairs for the seniors to sit. From the front row, Jake turned in his seat and smiled back at Erin in the third row, who smiled in return before he turned back around.

After a few speeches, which took over an hour, they finally started calling names to the stage to get their certificates. Erin kept her mind focused on the guys as they crossed the stage, instead of allowing her nerves to fester on the fact she would have to cross the stage in front of at least half the reservation.

Before she knew it, her row was standing and waiting to cross the stage. A moment later, her name was called and she was stepping up the steps onto the stage.

Three loud cheers came from the crowd of other seniors, making Erin smile at her boyfriend and friends. She could also hear the pack and Council cheering in the stands. Everyone else in the crowd merely clapped politely.

Erin accepted her diploma with a smile, shaking the Principal's hand before following her other classmates off the stage and back to her seat. The rest of the ceremony was over about ten minutes later, and finally the seniors got to throw their caps in the air.

A huge smile was spread over Erin's face as her hat flew into the air and fell back into her hand. She looked back down in time to see Jake, Embry, and Quil making their way through their classmates toward her. Jake scooped her up into his arms, giving her a tight hug around her middle. Erin laughed, wrapping her arms around his neck for a few moments before he set her back on the ground.

"Finally!" Quil called, dropping an arm over both Erin and Jake's shoulders as him and Embry came up to them, "We're done with this place!"

"Yeah. That's a miracle for you." Jake smirked before elbowing him in the ribs. Quil 'oofed' and hunched over, allowing Jake to pull him into a headlock. Erin quickly stepped back and stood next to Embry so she wouldn't get hit.

"Are we sure they're old enough to graduate?" she asked Embry as they watched the pair grapple in their robes.

"They were dropped on their heads as children." Embry answered seriously, making Erin snort.

"Quil Mathew Ateara V!" Joy's voice rang over the crowd and the boys quickly broke apart to give the woman sheepish smiles. Joy's stern look did not waver, however, as she planted her hands on her hips and stared them down from her tiny 5 foot stance.

"Sorry, Mom." Quil mumbled.

Erin covered her mouth to quiet her laughter, and Embry was doing the same from her side.

"That's what I thought." Joy answered before turning to Erin with a smile and giving her a hug. "Congratulations, sweetie."

"Thanks, Joy." Erin smiled, returning the hug happily. She eventually pulled away and moved to congratulate the boys and Erin got passed around by the pack, who had just arrived from the bleachers.

Finally, she found herself once again with Jake's arm draped over her shoulders.

"Glad to be done?" he guessed.

Erin nodded. "Yep. Now, lets get out of here and get to the beach." she suggested, wanting to get their pack graduation party started.

I know this chapter was pretty short, and the next one will be, too, but I've got some big plans after that, and the few chapters after that will be pretty long.

Review and let me know what you thought, even though this was probably a little boring. : )
