Emma knew she could trust David with many things, after all he was her father but she also knew that he wasn't one to keep secrets, specially from his wife so she wasn't at all surprise when she opened her mother's office to be greeted with one biggest smile she had ever giving her.
"Hello there," Snow said looking at her.
"Hey," was all Emma manage to say as she walk into the office and got comfortable in the couch while her mother made her way towards here. "I supposed David told you, didn't he?"
"He might have mentioned something about a little boy," Snow answered with a smile as she sat in front of Emma.
"Figures..." she muttered as she tried to think over what she was going to say next. Ever since her conversation with Neal earlier she knew Mary Margaret was the one she needed to talk to first, but what was she suppose to say? She didn't want it to look like she was imposing something, but wasn't she? What would she do if they said no? She couldn't just choose between her parents and giving her unborn son the life she and Henry had been deprived of, there was simply no way to do decide, even if she knew what the right thing to do would be.
"Emma is everything okay?" Her mother asked reaching her hand shyly and giving it a small squeeze bringing Emma back to reality. "You know you can trust me with anything."
"It's just… I need to ask you something," Emma replied letting go of Snow's hand as she stood and started to pace. "You don't have to answer now, actually you can't you need to talk to David about giving that it's your house…"
"It's our house,"
"And I would get it if you say no, I mean, I do think is a weird thing to asked," she continued ignoring her mother but turning to her from a few meters away. "But I want this kid to have what Henry and I didn't."
"You want Neal to move in, right?" Snow asked with a huge smile in her face. She had a pretty clear idea of Emma wanted for her younger child and if she was asking if Neal could move in that mean she didn't want to leave, and that was wonderful by her. As long as she didn't move out everything would be alright.
"How did you know?"
"You want the baby to grow up with both of his parents, I get it," the brunette answered, "Now would you please come and sit down again," she said, her smile growing again as her daughter came at sat by her side.
"So, would you talk to David?"
"You know what? I would love to, but I think he would like to hear it from you," Snow replied taking Emma's hand between her own. "You know, I think you are his favorite daughter," she added gently nudging her daughter's shoulder.
"I'm his only daughter," the blonde replied after a minute, looking down at her hands.
"Same difference," she answered, a smile plastered on her face.
To say it's been a long time would be an understatement. To say that I'm sorry wouldn't be even close to what I feel. This chapter resisted me a few months and then I got caught in a new semester. Still, I don't think I manage to write this as I first intended but I got it. Plus we are now in AU pre season 2 finale, which it kind of crazy.
Another thing, sorry if my English got a little rusty and my beta went missing from this page months ago.
Finally I wanted to thank you for 95 reviews, 118 follows and 60 favorites this story have received and please let me know what you think of this new chapter or just to express your hate for that looong hiatus. Really sorry about that, like, really, really sorry.
Let me know what you guys think.
