"Never have I ever..." Kirsty paused, and then she grinned. "Been cheated on."
Brogan winced, her eyes closing as she did. She felt her heart race quicken, as she slowly raised her plastic cup, taking the sip of vodka. Kirsty watched her, and instantly, she felt guilty. Adam wrapped his arm around her waist, bringing Brogan closer to him, and he kissed her shoulder softly. The four of them were now in Brogan and Adam's hotel room, playing a simple game of Never Have I Ever with a bottle of vodka that Tom had bought from the shop beside the hotel.
"Never have I ever been in a fight." Tom said, both him and Adam taking a sip.
Brogan rolled her eyes,
"Boys will be boys." She mumbled.
Both the boys laughed at her comment, and then they waited for her go.
She sighed deeply,
"Never have I ever..." She paused, thinking about it. "Never have I ever been in trouble with the police."
Both Brogan and Tom took a sip from their cups, and Kirsty gasped, remembering Brogan's incident. Adam stared at her, his eyebrows raised.
She looked at him,
"Simple misunderstandin'." She explained. "A so-called friend of mine used my phone to bully this girl."
Adam frowned and he nodded, making Brogan feel uncomfortable.
"Mine wa' cause ah got in a fight." Tom piped up. When Brogan looked at him, he gave her a smile.
"Never have I ever snogged in a nightclub." Adam gave Brogan a sideways glance.
She stifled a laugh, both she and Adam taking a sip, and then watched Kirsty and Tom slowly and hesitantly take a sip too.
"Ah'm bored of this game now." Brogan sighed, standing up and stumbling slightly. "Whoa." She laughed.
Adam held her wrist, instantly trying to keep her upright, and he stood up,
"Y'alright, drunky?"
Brogan giggled,
"Ah'm fiiiiine!"
Adam rolled his eyes playfully, smiling at her, and then he smirked,
"Then ah dare y' t' down your drink in one go."
Brogan's eyes widened,
"Wha'?!"
He smirked,
"Thought y' said y' wa' fine?" He teased.
Adam knew that she only had a quarter left of her drink, meaning that it was just a little over a shot. Sighing deeply, Brogan crouched down, picking up her cup, and then she stood up properly, downing the drink in one. Once she was done, Brogan placed the cup downwards, on top of her head, giving Adam a big smile.
"There's my girl." He laughed, taking the cup out of her hand, and throwing it on the floor.
"Eurgh, c'mon Kirsty. Let's get out o' here before this gets heated." Tom slurred, pushing himself onto his feet.
Kirsty stood up, and Tom wrapped his arm around her, leading them out of the hotel room, after saying their goodbyes.
"Think someone needs to sleep." Adam commented.
Brogan nodded, placing her hands on her hips,
"Yeah, you're lookin' a little tired."
Adam cocked his head to the side, and he laughed,
"Piss off, ah mean you!"
Brogan grinned at him, and then she giggled. Adam pulled her closer to him, and he kissed her forehead softly,
"Did ya enjoy yaself tonight then?"
"Ah wa' wi' you, weren't ah?" Brogan asked, smiling at him.
Adam grinned,
"Good answer."
Brogan giggled, and then she sighed deeply,
"Ah need t' get changed."
Adam unwrapped his arms from around her, and watched as she stumbled over to their bed, slowly picking up her pyjamas.
Adam woke up first the next day, rolling onto his back, and rubbing his eyes with the palm of his hands. Groaning slightly, feeling the sunlight hitting his face, he slowly opened his eyes and looked to his right. Brogan was still fast asleep, her arms wrapped around his waist, and her head beside his shoulder. He smiled to himself, as he watched her sleep. Gently stroking her fringe from her face, Brogan moved slightly, before she stretched and opened her eyes.
"Mmm." She mumbled.
Adam watched her silently, instantly feeling guilty.
"Mornin'." Brogan murmured.
"Mornin'." Adam replied.
She smiled at him, rubbing her eyes,
"Sleep okay?" She asked.
He nodded, running a hand through his hair,
"Yeah, not too bad. Wha' about you?"
Brogan nodded, and then she covered her mouth, yawning.
Adam let out a laugh,
"You're so cute when you're hungover."
Brogan blushed deeply, hiding her face in Adam's shoulder,
"Shut up." She mumbled.
"It's Sunday today." Adam sighed deeply, stroking Brogan's back.
Brogan frowned,
"I know."
"Ah don't want y' to go home."
Brogan sighed,
"Me either."
Adam kissed the top of her head softly, and Brogan looked up at him, resting her chin on his shoulder.
He smiled down at her, and then he pecked her lips softly,
"No sadness."
Brogan nodded in agreement.
After getting ready and meeting up with Tom and Kirsty, the four of them went to a McDonald's, and ordered some breakfast.
"Oh my god, my head is killing me." Kirsty complained, as they sat down.
Brogan sighed, nodding,
"Mine too."
Adam sat down beside Brogan, and he nudged her,
"Stop complainin'." He teased.
Brogan rolled her eyes and scoffed,
"Shut up."
Adam chuckled, kissing her cheek softly, and then the four of them started to eat.
When they finished, Adam took his hash brown out of the packet,
"Want it?" Adam asked, handing it out to Brogan.
Brogan grinned big, and she nodded, taking it from Adam,
"Fankchu."
Adam smiled,
"Very welcome, B."
"I don't want to leave!" Kirsty pouted.
"I don't wanna either!"
Adam wrapped his arms around Brogan, pulling her into him,
"Come wi' me." He said quietly in her ear.
Taking hold of her hand, Adam led Brogan away from where they were standing, and he walked down the street. Brogan was watching him, confused, but still went along anyway. Adam stopped walking, and then he let go of Brogan's hand, cupping her face and kissing her softly. Taken back, Brogan froze for a moment, before kissing Adam back softly.
"Ah really wish y' din't 'ave to go." Adam murmured against her lips, when they pulled away.
"Me too." Brogan whispered.
Adam pecked her lips, and then he wrapped his arms around her waist,
"Promise me you'll be back soon."
Brogan swallowed thickly,
"I promise."
He smiled slightly, before pulling back, and taking hold of Brogan's hand.
